North Korea celebrates Independence day with fireworks! Wait, does North Korea have Independence day? Wait, were those fireworks?

North Korea launched five missiles today, including one believed to be the long-range Taepodong-2, which is believed to be capable of reaching U.S. soil, sources told ABC News.

The Bush administration called the missile launches "a clear provocation," but said there was no immediate threat to the United States.

Damn you know this is going to piss King George off like nobody's business!

Imagine, firing missiles on the same day that we celebrate our independence. Those North Koreans are an arrogant bunch aren't they?

You do have to admire the irony though.
