With nearly two years remaining in his presidency, George W. Bush is alone. In half a century, I have not seen a president so isolated from his own party in Congress -- not Jimmy Carter, not even Richard Nixon as he faced impeachment.
You know I usually pride myself on being a compassionate person but I simply cannot feel sorry for George W. Bush. If anybody in history deserved to be isolate it is this President.
Whether it is ignorance, pride, or a self destructive bent that has spread from him to this country, this man has done more harm to our nation then anybody in over a century.
I personally feel that things will only continue to get worse for George W. Bush, and he deserves every bit of it.
