A Leading US climate scientist is considering legal action after he says he was duped into appearing in a Channel 4 documentary that claimed man-made global warming is a myth. Carl Wunsch, professor of physical oceanography at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said the film, The Great Global Warming Swindle, was 'grossly distorted' and 'as close to pure propaganda as anything since World War Two'.
I cannot believe the lengths that these guys will go to to keep people from understanding that we are destroying our planet.
I mean what does anybody expect after hundreds of years of spewing pollutants into the atmosphere? A healthy planet?

ReplyDeleteDid you know that the oil companies have been paying scientists to argue against global warming research for over twenty years?
Do you remember the "scientists" that claimed that there is no proof that cigarettes can cause cancer?
Money can buy some people's integrity. And apparently others can simply be tricked.
We also seem to forget that there is a biased interest in the scientist as well. Without global warming there would be no federal tax dollars going into their research to stop it. In other words, they would be unemployed. So of course they're gonna push the fact that it exists with every last breath they have in their lungs. Is it as bad as scientists say? It just may be. Be we should also be aware that they have an interest in global warming being a real threat.
