The main Sunni Arab political bloc quit the Iraqi government on Wednesday in a blow to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's shaky coalition as suicide bombers killed more than 70 people in three attacks across Baghdad.
The resignation move pushed the government into a new crisis undermining its efforts to reconcile Iraqis and end sectarian strife.
Hey but don't pass judgement on Iraq yet! We have not heard from General Petraeus yet, and we just know that he is going to see the situation in Iraq improving.
The idea that Petraeus has access to some information that the rest of us are not privy to is one the most bold faced lies this administration has told to the American people. And for this administration that is saying a lot.
