In no way do I find this credible.

Osama bin Laden will release a video ahead of the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in what would provide the first new images of the terror mastermind in nearly three years, al-Qaida’s media arm announced Thursday.

I call bullshit on this. There is no way that I am going to believe that Bin Laden who has not released a video tape in several years has suddenly decided to get his face back out in the airwaves, and that he looks younger and healthier then before!

I am not sure what the motivation is for releasing this video now, BUT I KNOW IT IS NOT BEING RELEASED BY BIN LADEN! (I put that in parenthesis to make sure that nobody misunderstands me.)

How many times have one of these "al-Qaida tapes" been released when it suits the Bush administration for one to appear? Remember the one that came out right before the 2004 election?

And why would Bin Laden release a tape to commemorate 9-11 when he denied being responsible for the attack right after it happened. (And don't bother bringing up the October 2004 video either. Nobody believes that one is real.)

No this is another blatant attempt to lie to us and manipulate us into being afraid. And to be completely honest I don't even know if the Bush administration is willing to just stop at this.

I think the Bush administration wants us to be afraid. And they have succeeded. I am afraid, but not of Bin Laden. I am afraid of my government.

  2. What does Bin Laden have to do with Iran?

sorry..I don't get it..I do think that it is not really of consequence- and Bush and the Wh seem to release them when it is timely...or part of their latest fearmongering..they should be embarrassed.....using in an exploititive manner just makes them looks silly...
