Among the debts reported this month by Hillary Rodham Clinton’s struggling presidential campaign, the $292,000 in unpaid health insurance premiums for her campaign staff stands out.
Clinton, who is being pressured to end her campaign against Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination, has made her plan for universal health care a centerpiece of her agenda.
This is stunningly tone deaf of her campaign to have allowed this to happen.
When you base your main talking points on providing health care for everybody it does not bode well for your campaign to skip a payment to cover your own staff.
No wonder the Republicans want to run against her.
Hmm, she buys donuts and does not pay...and schedules rooms and rents storefronts and does not pay.....HOW can donors trust her with money ?
