A woman police believe to be convicted Washington escort service operator Deborah Jeane Palfrey committed suicide, officials said Thursday.A body police believe to be that of Deborah Jeane Palfrey was found in a shed near her mother's home Thursday morning in Tarpon Springs, about 20 miles northwest of Tampa.
There was a suicide note, but police did not disclose its contents or how she killed herself.
Police said they were trying to confirm the woman's identity, and declined to release more details until a news conference Thursday afternoon.

There is not enough tinfoil on the planet for me to effectively deal with this story!
I don't know this woman and cannot possibly determine whether she was suicidal or not but my first instinct is to look at other possibilities first. She had a lot of a dirt on a lot of famous, powerful people. Anyone of them would have had plenty of reason to take her out.
I don't believe she would committ suicide ....her sentencing was coming up....but she would not have done it so that her mom would find her...I am not buying it...

I am sure after some "thorough" investigatin' they will find out it was an "accident"....
You know I had the same thought about women not hanging themselves. But when I researched it I found that a number of women have hung themselves.

And this smells like a very bad cover up to me.
I had the same thought when I read the news -- "someone powerful wanted her dead." Suicide notes can be forced. Especially if you've brought the woman to her mother's house and tell her, "you will write the suicide note, or we will kill your mother."

It is true that she was depressed at times and sad about losing her business, her wealth and her life...and she was worried about her family....and the effects of all this...

One of the First Escorts that was named apparently also hung herself- in the the very living room she was fixing up...her escort name was "Alexis"....a bright attractive woman....with grown children ....Jan 2006....

ReplyDeleteThe minute I saw this story, all I could think was OMG, Cheney MUST be in her book!
And as far as self-hanging, it would be a horrible, slow stangling death. If you are hung by a professional, they can tie the knot so your neck breaks immediately, assuming a long enough drop. I doubt her ability to tie such a knot & place it so expertly by herself & then have a long enough drop in a shed to achieve a quick, painless death. Maybe it's just me, but no woman I know would choose this. Pills, yes! Jumping off a tall building, yes! Hanging yourself? not on your life.
I smell a big Cheney-sized rat.

ReplyDeleteI agree....the Knot would definently tell WHO did it...and a good autopsy...it is interesting the police did not say if an autopsy was going to be done or not...the police would not answer the question as to HOW she hung herself- was there a stool or chair...they did say her mother could not reach up to her- which is odd- there should have been a chair or stool knocked over...right?
The other hanging victim - Brandy Britton would never have hung herself- she had been stabbed in the neck by an EX previously- so I don't think she would have hung herself....also the shrink guy on Nancy said she was angry- well- people don't commit suicide because they are angry- that makes NO sense....Nancy Grace did do it last night- I think she too had some doubts about the story....
There was way too much about this story that did not make sense..and of course our Media has been dumbed down so far there will not be a thorough investigation...really sad...and ALL the Johns- rich and famous get off scot free...
( BTW tarpon bay- the back of Sanibel- that is where CIA folks retire- but also it is where many govt folks....Bush folks go and play....and have since the 70's....really not a good place for her to go spend time...Porter Goss land- it is where he was mayor after he left the CIA....not a good place to go and wait for her sentencing....)
