Obama makes another misstep.

After days of media mockery, Barack Obama has decided to stop using a presidential-looking seal that his campaign designed and affixed to his podium on Friday.

Journalists said the seal, which features an eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch, smacks of arrogance. John McCain's camp had a field day, calling the seal “laughable, ridiculous, preposterous and revealing - all at the same time.”

This was a pretty ridiculous mistake to make.

I mean somebody took the time to create, and then the campaign paid for, an item that was obviously going to attract scorn and derision.

How this got passed the earliest planning stages is completely beyond me. Obama needs to be aware how desperately his opponents are looking for missteps and blunders that they can use to diminish him in the minds of the voters.

And here he goes handing them one on a silver platter.

Let us get our act together shall we, this is after all the big leagues.

  2. Yeah I saw that Enigma, but I still have to call Obama out on this mistake. And for the FISA vote too.

    It is only fair.

  3. I guess I'm too dense to see what the fracas was all about.

    It's a seal. I mean, BFD?

The damned thing didn't have etching of child sacrifice on it.
