Gustav crashes the Republican party.

President Bush is unlikely to make it to the Republican National Convention, and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) may deliver his acceptance speech via satellite because of the historically huge hurricane threatening New Orleans, top officials said.

So after the Democrats put on the show of the century, peppered with speeches that will go down in history, the Republicans are hiding from the return of their past sins.

Call it God, Call it Karma, call it coincidence, but you cannot deny that SOMETHING is working against the GOP.

Actually, I'm viewing it from a different perspective. I'm actually askin God at this very moment, WHY??????!?!?!?!?!?!

This hurricane will be a BLESSING to the GOP. Bush, McCain and that Palin chick will probably be handing out bottled water and ham sandwiches after this storm blows over. In fact, I would bet my bottom dollar that Bush is probably on his way to NO right now. This will be theatre at its finest. Hillary swayed folks with a tear....and now it's McCain's turn.

I think I'm gonna be sick.
