Ah the joys of living in Alaska!

This is a photograph from my front porch exactly five minutes ago.





And yes in case you were wondering this is a little early for snow EVEN in Alaska.

The first snow fall almost always melts off, but this is pretty heavy, so I would not bet the farm on that.

  7. So pretty! I've always wanted to take a trip to Alaska.

    I live where the calendar and the seasons don't match up that well. I don't consider it Fall until the daytime high is 80F or less. *snorts*
