Todd gets to phone in his answers to Troopergate questions. What is he hiding?

Todd Palin will answer a series of questions from a legislative investigator by mid-week -- but only in writing, and with the answers funneled through his lawyer, the McCain-Palin campaign said Monday.

The campaign has fought the Legislative Council's investigation, claiming it's become politicized by Democrats. Todd Palin and various Palin aides refused to testify under subpoena before the Senate Judiciary Committee in September.

The attorney general sued to get the subpoenas of the Palin aides dismissed, but lost the case in Superior Court Thursday.

The McCain-Palin campaign claims Todd Palin's written responses to Stephen Branchflower -- the investigator hired by a bi-partisan group of 12 legislators -- would satisfy the subpoena.

Well the McCain/Palin campaign is full of shit!

This will not "satisfy" the subpoena.

Part of the purpose of a subpoena is to have a face to face interview with the person so that the interviewer can hear the answers for themselves as well as see the body language and facial expressions of the interviewee.

This is not how somebody responses to a subpoena. It certainly was not how I responded to a subpoena during my child custody case. If this kind of response was allowed don't we all think that Bill Clinton would have avoided that whole "it depends on what the term "is" is" debacle during the Monica Lewinsky investigation? If it was an option for him to write down the answers to those questions and have his lawyer look them over before handing them in to the investigators, don't we all think he would have done it?

Only guilty people refuse to comply with a subpoena.

Everything the Palins have done in response to this investigation has demonstrated their guilt.

But it is time for this dance to come to an end.

It is time for justice to be done.

It is time for ALL participants in this investigation to cooperate.

Do you hear that Governor? It is time for you to come back and face the music! You are not special, and neither is your husband! We have watched politicians in this state tried and convicted by the truckload, and if you think you and Todd will escape Alaskan justice then you must have forgotten where you come from lady!
