Todd Palin is going to testify in Troopergate investigation! No not the REAL investigation. The phony one controlled by the McCain campaign.

Gov. Sarah Palin's husband is planning to speak to an investigator looking into abuse-of-power allegations against the governor, Todd Palin's lawyer said Saturday. He previously refused to testify under subpoena in a separate probe. Attorney Thomas Van Flein ( this is the guy who the Palins hired to challenge the investigation in the first place) said he asked the investigator, Anchorage attorney Timothy Petumenos, to reserve the third week of October to interview Todd Palin, but a date has not been set because he is waiting to hear back from Petumenos.

Todd Palin refused to testify under subpoena last month in a separate investigation by the Alaska Legislature. Petumenos is heading a parallel probe by the Alaska State Personnel Board into whether Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, acted improperly when she fired Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan this summer.

Both are looking into whether Palin, her husband and her aides pressured Monegan to fire a state trooper who was involved in a contentious divorce from Palin's sister and then fired Monegan when he wouldn't dismiss the trooper. Palin says Monegan was ousted over budget disagreements.

This is bullshit! Todd Palin is not going to answer any REAL questions about Troopergate and his involvement in it, he is only going to answer the pre-planned pretend questions that this puppet investigation will pose to him.

They are simply playing a game of hide and seek hoping to put the REAL investigation off until Sarah can be elected Vice President and use the power of the President to quash this thing for good.

Well do I have bad news for her!

  1. is this part of Liberty Legal's ploy to put forth as an argument before the AK Supreme Court to win their appeal? i mean, it seems sort of convenient, no? here the court has agreed to hear arguments on Wednesday, giving the McCain camp enough time to get all the goons together to give the appearance of transparency...and that way the AG doesn't look like he's encouraging Mr. Palin to break the law by ingoring the supeana? oh, Christ...can you tell i watched WAY too much LA Law growing up?
