Andrea Gusty posts video to prove she is not part of Palin Pregnancy conspiracy.

As many of you probably know this picture has been the subject of a lot of scrutiny at the blog Palin's Deceptions.

I have long believed that there is something completely unbelievable about the Sarah Palin birth story. And I have visited the Palin Deception blog daily enjoying the many bits of evidence and links provided by the commenter's as well as the investigative work done by Audrey the creator of the blog.

Audrey even went so far as to hire a photography expert to investigate the picture featured in the video. This expert apparently reported that the picture had been tampered with.

However this video, which many people had asked Gusty to release in the past, now makes it seem likely that the expert Audrey hired got it wrong.

I feel very bad for Audrey since she worked so hard to get to the bottom of this controversy. And spent her own money to do it.

I am still not convinced there is not something to the conspiracy story, but it looks like this was another dead end.

  1. I'm not to sure about this video. There is something off about the whole thing. Sarah's face has a smirk on it like she knows she's pulling our leg...hmmm . And why didn't they just show Trig's birth certificate...again something is not right about this video.

I really wish Gutsy would have shown more of that video.

After reading Palin's email to the Anchorage Daily News tonight, it appears that Palin lied about Levi not dropping out of high school.

I've never really cared about this whole baby thing except that the story was ridiculous -- she is either a liar or very reckless, and could have killed her child by traveling when she did, after her water was broken.

However, if nothing about it added up, and everything else that she says/said is lies, why label anyone who chooses not to accept her story -- without any proof except for some sham letter from the doc the day before the election -- a conspiracy theorist?

That's kind of bullsh!t. I don't call anyone who didn't believe her a conspiracy theorist, I call them someone who thinks that if Sarah's lips are moving she's lying.

And there are soooooooo many things out that point to the proof of that. Don't need a letter from a doc or a newspaper editor or Sherry Johnston or anyone, just have to watch her self-serving, lying, PalinTour2009 videos!

You feel bad for Audrey, but not for the people that have finally proved to be telling the truth?

And Gina, why should they have to show the birth certificate? No one thought that Obama should have to show his when the right wing nuts wanted to see it.

  5. The video still doesn't explain the square belly padding.

  6. A dead end maybe, but nothing conclusive, as far as I can see.

  7. The reporter is not part of the cover up. Palin could have worn a pj pillow, she had announced her news to AK. The entire stories about the pregnancy and birth and after just do not add up. An ext ream pro lifer would never had amniocentesis. I had my third child at 39 and when I found out the test had a 1 in 200 chance of aborting the baby, I said no way, it didn't matter anyway I was going through no matter what. Trigg was very large for four weeks early, my baby was 18 days early and weighed only 5 pounds. There's a lot more to her story then we know, but no one will believe anything Sarah says because there have been just too many lies from her.

Yes, the only difference is Obama released his and it was verified by Factcheck. Of course whenever Sarah is mentioned her supporters ALWAYS bring up Obama. Wait a minute...is that you NOTALIB? I thought you were banned from here. Hmmm...maybe Gryphen should ban ANONYMOUS bloggers on his site.

  9. Hi GinaM!

Actually Notalib is NOT banned from this blog. I enabled comment moderation and told Notalib that I would review his comments before allowing them in the future.

He was actually okay with that, and so far has played much nicer then in the past. I am simply NOT very comfortable with censorship, as it goes against my principles.

But as I explained to Notalib I cannot have him chasing away my visitors either. He understood and agreed with that sentiment. So we will see if this solves the problem to everybody's satisfaction.

And by the way I always welcome intelligent well thought out disagreement. It can often make the conversation much more interesting.

  10. Gusty brags in this video that she "reports fact," when in truth her report contains several significant misrepresentations, and a few outright lies.

    1) Gusty says "this picture is at the center of allegations of a pregnancy coverup." No, Gusty, it's not "at the center" of the allegations. This picture is just ONE of many things people have been looking at for months in an attempt untangle what is obviously a hoax.

    2) Gusty goes on to say there are "at least two websites devoted to proving this picture a fake." There you go again, Gusty. Those websites are not devoted to proving this picture a fake; they are devoted to proving that Sarah's pregnancy was a fake. Either you're a terrible reporter who didn't really do her homework and didn't look at the sites, or you lied. Twice. Correction, please? (Or, to use the words of your idol, "Say it ain't so.")

    3) Gusty "reports" that Sarah gave birth four days after this interview. Oops! Wasn't Triggy Bear supposedly born on April 18th?

    4) Gusty "reports" that "details like...Scott's untucked shirt were cited as definitive proof that Palin faked her pregnancy." Oh, dear; another lie, Gusty. Yes, the referenced sites did look at some curious features in these photos and Scott's untucked business shirt was one thing that was noticed, briefly--by maybe two commentors out of over a thousand. No one ever cited it as "proof" that the pregnancy was staged. Another lie, Gusty. Oh, say it ain't so!

    4) If Gusty is, as she claims, interested in "setting the record straight," then she needs to 1) immediately post the original, high-definition versions of these photographs on her "anonymous" flickr account; 2) explain why she did not send the higher quality versions to Factcheck and why she did not admit that she owned the camera that took these photos, and explain a host of other problems with this entire scenario. And her station, if they expect to retain any shreds of credibility, need to require her to clean up her act as a reporter, or dump her.

Apart from which, since the video footage allegedly from 13 April does not include this still shot, and since those who doubt Sarah's story have claimed all along that she wore a fake baby bump (required paraphernalia for anyone faking a pregnancy), Gusty's unprofessional report really doesn't "prove" anything.

    Sorry. Try again.

  11. Andrea Gusty could have saved herself from some of her holier than thou comments by confirming information about the picture more than a month ago. Audrey had emailed her about it. From what I understand, Gusty never wrote back to confirm anything.

I read Audrey's blog too, and always thought the photo angle was a dead end. The pictures of her with the square pillow, and the obvious padding are much more damning.

The fact that she is spending so much time on this subject lately proves that she is nervous about something coming out...Gusty just didn't want any part of it, obviously. I'm waiting for Dr CBJ to come forward.

Again, what Sarah doesn't realize is that she just keeps digging herself into a deeper and deeper hole. Why keep bringing the Trig pregnancy up to the ADN and in interviews when she could easily make it all go away? Like her bizarre birth story, it does not make any sense...but what does in Palin world. We all knew Levi was a dropout, no one thought anything baout it relating to his job until Sarah started blabbing about it!

    What a dumbass...

  13. No I am not notalib. Sorry I was being lazy and just hit anonymous. I am not a supporter of Palin, I think she is a huge reason Obama won. The idea of her being the new leader of the Republican means the Dems are safe for a long time.

I just know there was a lot of uproar about Obama having to show his birth certificate by the same people who now want Palin to show her child's. Who cares? Let her slip back into obscurity where she belongs.

  14. let's try on some Sarah logic for size. just for shits and giggles and let's presume that Trig is absolutely hers. and she knows it. and she has the proof. and the ability to release those who are restricted by doctor-patient privacy laws to tell their tale of the truth.

let's say she does that. then what? no more Palin coverage. it's back to reporting the dull and mundane business as usual...which takes her out of that spotlight the national media has a hard time looking away from. makes her "normal" in a way that even those hard-core Palinistas find themselves cooling towards. no more "Poor misunderstood Sarah" or "damn those liberals!" victim-mentality. no more docu-drama interviews. bloggers will go back to posting about unicorn dreams and Elvis sightings. and she goes back to obscurity.

in Sarah's world, any publicity is good publicity. even if it takes her occassional trantrum over the absurd to keep her name on the tip of the media's forked tongue.

hey, i'm not knocking the bloggers. i'm a blogger, too. it's been a while since i've had a unicorn dream and i've yet to see Elvis...but i KNOW he's out there. somewhere.... ;)

Note: Gusty never once said that Palin was pregnant. Not once. Now, she could have suggested that, but she did not even give that much to Palin. Gusty ONLY discussed the timing of the film/photo and did state Palin gave birth 4 days later--which Gusty could state cause Palin claims to have done that.

But I dont think Gusty has anything to do with Palin's lies and may not even like Palin.

Trip from Texas to Alaska or Trigg is not her baby? The trip is worse because it shows me she wanted the baby to not survive. Down's syndrome babies have a 50% chance of being born with heart defeacts that need immediate surgery and Palin not only got back to Alaska, but bypassed Anchorage hospitals and went as far away from adequate care that could have saved the baby, as she was able to. She did not want that child, IF it was hers.

Baby killer or lying for daughter? Which one is forgiveable?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Attempted baby killer or just lying for a daughter or someone else?

Neither is a good thing. IF she is Trig's birth mother, she sure didn't use good judgement with his safety and well-being!

IF she is NOT the birth mother, who is she covering for, and WHY?

Adoption is an admirable action, even more so, when the adopted baby has special needs. Would that not have given her more credentials with her far-right religious zealot base?

None of it looks good for her. And she certainly is getting nervous!

  17. I agree with you Liz P...someone called it a "fundie abortion"...meaning she was purposely reckless during her pregnancy to increase the chances of a miscarraige or even a still birth. The idea of that is horrifying, but makes sense in a twisted way...hiding her pregnancy for 7 months, not gaining weight, and travelling late in the third trimester.

I have always said that the wild ride birth story was not humanly possible, and that no SANE mother would ever do that...but we are not dealing with a sane woman here, obviously. Her latest round of interviews has certainly proven that.

Anyway, I agree with David...to a point. The problem is this psycho is in charge of a state that has very real problems right now, and she is busy having a pity party and inviting the nation to attend.
