David Shuster grills John Ziegler, the man responsible for the latest Sarah Palin interview, and makes him look like an idiot.

Now why isn't David Shuster the host of "Meet the Press"?

Clearly he has much bigger balls then David Gregory.

The funny thing is that Ziegler almost looked like he felt betrayed by Sarah Palin for saying that his video misrepresented her, but then he remembered he was supposed to be supporting her and went on the attack.

  1. That's who I wanted for MTP...he is much better isn't he? I have always been impressed with him. He is fair and balanced no matter who he interviews. Dems or Repubs.

I sent NBC a letter and sent David a letter a long time ago and tried to get him to try for it.

  2. Sarah Palin suspects that she received tougher treatment from the media than Caroline Kennedy because of "class."

    She's right.

    Caroline has class. Sarah doesn't.

  3. Shuster rocks..I too wrote many letters to MSNBC about him and supported him when they almost fired him over the "pimp" comment,....

I also love that he is on 5 hours a week- and his numbers are already better than Prettyboys' ever were !!!

    ;-)

Leave it to you libs to flock together to try and find some guts that 50 of you together would be required to make up one conservatives courage.

Shuster got bitchslapped around by Ziegler. The almighty ethical journalist caught expressing opinions, not FACTS. Hey, he's entitled to his OPINION but I think it's plain to NORMAL Americans that MSNBC is a liberal mouth organ and has ZERO credibility at this point as a legitimate news organization.

Have IQ's just dropped sharply in the recent past? Shuster in no way preformed a smackdown on Ziegler and made him appear like an idiot...far from it....Shuster couldn't even get his facts straight....he kept trying to throw out 65% as the number who felt Palin was unqualified....sorry but the number is 49%....hell of a difference.....and Shuster is no journalist when he can baldly throw out a statement like "Sarah Palin is clearly unqualified"....journalists are supposed to be objective....news reporters report...they do not editorialize.....but of course you sheep who prefer to be spoonfed this crap couldn't care less about facts, they just get in the way of the story....all of you who view this as such a display of the "balls" of Shuster should really be questioning his integrity.....wouldn't you really rather have something uncomplicated like the truth rather than b.s. posturing? Shuster only succeeded in appearing scared of Ziegler because he was determined not to let him answer and then tried to shout down Ziegler when he did respond.....that takes no balls at all.....when Shuster can develop some testicular fortitude and actually use facts to contradict Ziegler and expose his supposed mis-statements, then you should celebrate....

Here Palin is in March 08 criticizing Hillary about whining about the media. What a hypocrite. There are many other videos of her, some good, most she's just herself, not good. There's a lot more really horrible things to be found about her, but this covers quite a bit. With all the information that's available about her lies, and viciousness, it's amazing anyone would support her. It's probably just to piss off Liberals, or they do no fact checking at all. Some are probably scared of losing there jobs, or maybe worse. She's the one who really turned me off on Christians and I am a Christian. I do realize their not all like her and her supporters, but she sure gives Christians a bad name. Notalib you have your own blog slamming us, why do you need to do it here also? I won't post on your site just to make you mad.

  10. I'm confused... First Ziegler said nothing could be taken out of context in his video, then said the Couric thing was taken out of context. Which is it?

  11. Well I think the point can be made that Shuster clearly is not a fan of Sarah Palin.(A group that is growing larger by the day.) But it is clear from watching the video that Ziegler started partisan attacks as soon as Shuster asked him about the term "assassinate" as it pertains to how the media dealt with Palin.

The interview then spins out of control.

The charge that Ziegler won the exchange is clearly incorrect, but I will admit Shuster readily engaged in a shouting match which, while making the clip very entertaining, did not get any relevant answers from Ziegler.

I think that Rachel Maddow would have conducted a less adversarial interview and learned more from Ziegler then Shuster did, but I still have to give David props for not letting this guy shout him down.

  12. Yes, but as David pointed out..Ziegler won't go on with Rachel or Kieth either one. None of the conservative Palin types will. Rachel has asked over and over and so has Kieth. Rachel has had I think one or two show up for like 2 minutes is like all the time they will give her and one was that Nancy Photneure or however you spell her name...and the other was I think Nicolle Wallace went on maybe..can't remember for sure..she may not have. But that is it..everyone else refuses. Ziegler went back with David later yesterday and it was just as bad...Ziegler is a hack and nothing more..he couldn't tell the truth if it bit him in the butt.

  13. Rachel and Keith would use intellect in a dispassionate way that would call Ziegler (as well as most conservatives) out on the mat - forcing him to explain the inexplicable mess that is Sarah Palin. Any time he'd try and pull that partisan spin, Rachel and/or Keith (Rachel most especially) would cooly and calmly steer him back to the issue for which he'd have nothing to say that would be of any substantive value.

Nothing of any substantive value. Ah...sort of poetically perfect for that which is the Pro-Sarah Palin movement.

PS: Gryphen, you've a lot of trolls around here lately. You've struck a nerve. Keep up the good work, my friend!

Just like no lib will go on FOX news, annette. But in all honesty a conservative has nothing to gain by going on MSNBC small audiences, interviewers who have limited skills, just not worth it. Where as a liberal can reach millions of people going on FOX but they know they will not get the softball questions the MSM media and MSNBC will toss so they stay away,

Notalib, that is total BS. Hillary and Obama both were interviewed on FOX.

Hillary finally went on because she was losing and Ah-ah-ahbama had to go on because he was caught on tape saying he would.

From the May 2 2008 LA Times:"Last year at this time, liberal activists pressured Democrats to stay off the news channel, which they termed a “Republican mouthpiece,” successfully scuttling plans for two Fox-hosted debates. Obama and Clinton, wary of offending the party’s base, largely steered clear of Fox News interviews."
