Our little Sarah launches a political action committee.

Sarah Palin, the Alaska governor and former GOP vice presidential nominee, has started a political action committee called SarahPAC.

Wow, I knew that Palin and her batshit crazy supporters were getting prepared to start the process for a 2012 Presidential run but now that it is here I am still a little stunned.

She REALLY thinks she has a shot at the Presidency? REALLY?

She sure as hell does! Just check out this little blurb from the website:

SarahPAC believes America's best days are ahead. Our country, founded on conservative principles and the fight for freedom, must confront the challenges of the 21st century with integrity, innovation, and determination.

SarahPAC believes energy independence is a cornerstone of the economic security and progress that every American family wants and deserves.

SarahPAC believes the Republican Party is at the threshold of an historic renaissance that will build a better future for all. Health care, education, and reform of government are among our key goals. Join us today!

Health care? What in the hell do the Republicans, or Sarah Palin, know about improving health care? And I will say the same thing about energy, education, and government reform. If the GOP knew how to handle any of these issues we would not find ourselves in the dire straights we find ourselves in today. Every problem we currently face is the result of Republicans being in charge for the last eight years.

And as for Palin herself? Well she has not done one damn thing of significance for the people of Alaska since she got back from her whirlwind romance with the GOP! Her State of the State was chock full of things she is GOING to do, but not one mention of anything she HAS done.

Why? Because she has not done ANYTHING! Palin is a spokesmodel, not a problem solver.

Well fine with me lady. If you want to face off against Barack Obama in 2012 then bring it on!

But speaking for myself I am going to spend hours and hours exposing as many Sarah Palin lies, and misinformation as I can. My guess is that well before 2012 Sarah Palin will be too badly wounded politically to even run for a school board position in Wasilla.

Update: And for those who still don't think this means Sarah will actually run for President just visit here and see for yourself. (Hat tip to Ratfish for link.)

  1. I figured this was coming... just didn't think she would do it this soon... I really thought she would keep it a little quieter until closer to 2010... it is registered under John McCain's name..so he is helping her with it evidently.. sneaky old man...lol

  3. SHE HASN'T EVEN ADDRESSED THE CRISIS IN EMMONAK, HOW IN BLOODY HELL DOES SHE OR THE GOP THINK SHE CAN EFFING SAVE HEALTHCARE? ENTITLEMENT REFORM? HOMELAND SECURITY?

Okay. Really. Who's been doping up the drinking water and getting all those "real Americans" in Virginia the case of the nutties? Come on, kids. Pranks like these just sorta rankle the hopes of those with little to live for. It's a recession, folks! That PAC money is better spent on a Playboy subscription and a six pack. Somebody's gotta keep the bunnies warm.

I cannot believe I just wrote that. Please to forgive....[hangs head in shame]

  4. No shame here Jen.

I admire your passion and find your points both valid and appropriate.

(Of course now I can't get the image of warm furry little bunnies out of my mind. And yes, I realize those were not the ones you had in mind.)

Seriously, you need to take apart her lines/lies one by one. Someone has to do it. The press constantly repeats her line about how she "took on the old boy network" and "took on the oil companies" in Alaska and a lot of other stuff. Since I've reached the point I don't believe anything she says, I'd like to know what is fact, what is fiction, and what is wild self-aggrandizement.

Somehow, hacking into your enemy's computer so you can bring him down and turn him into a stepping stone for you own political aspirations doesn't really translate into "taking on the old boy network" to me. Is there more to that?

Palin- or a commitee on her behalf with her permission- has filed a statement of candidacy for President in 2012.

    Go to

    http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/imaging_info.shtml

and search for Palin. You will find:

    PALIN, SARAH

    Office Sought: President
    Election Year: 2012
    State: Presidential Candidate
    Party: REP (Republican Party)

Also, when KTUU tried to talk with her about this, they got the usual run around from Ms. Open and Transparent:

“Channel 2 News tried to speak to Palin directly about all of this and were told to call the political action committee in Virginia to find out if the governor could make time.

The PAC said Palin was too busy with state business.”

I will (and have been) going to join your efforts in "exposing as many Sarah Palin lies, and misinformation as I can." The problem is that there are so many, it's a full-time job.

  8. I'm nosy, I admit it. I peeked in at the RedState blog. I wanted to see what they were saying about it.

They say "Palin has NOT filed for a 2012 presidential run"

Instead, they say it's "a dummy page for the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee, a grassroots PAC which has filed on Gov. Palin’s behalf."

Hope I did the link right?

Please, please, please....make her go AWAY!

After 4 years of Obama we are going to need someone to bring America back. She is as good of a candidate as anyone....and she is driving liberals crazy which makes it all the better.

Again Notalib, your insights and comments never cease to amaze me. It is a sorry state of affairs when a Republican says "She is as good of a candidate as anyone". I think there are many, many people in your own party who would disagree.

I say let her run...she is some of the best entertainment on TV by far, and I personally can't wait for Republican primary season to begin. Sarah was "chosen" for VP, and she failed miserably, winking, lying, and spending her way through a two month campaign with every Republican professing their love support for her, then trashing her and blaming her for being a drag on the ticket.

She got elected in Alaska because everyone thought she could not be any worse than Murkowski, and the majority male Republican population there was not thinking with their brains, but rather another part of their anatomy, when they elected her.

It will be a much different story this time around, and I for one say bring it on. This liberal is looking forward to the many nights of endless Palinisms sure to come our way, also too, you betcha!

FW I don't know who you have been talking to but Sarah was NOT the problem the problem was that the Republicans put McCain out there a classic RINO. They knew that with the Messiah no matter who we put there he would win so use someone who could be harmed the least. She still has broad support among conservatives so again not sure who you talk to I assume blueblood repubs. It will be fun to see how she does on the national stage without McCains incompetent people around her.

As for Anonymous keep holding your breath, she owes someone like you NOTHING.

Isn't a PAC quite "socialist"? I mean what does Gov. grifter do with all her money? Why should we give her OURs? So she can do Photo ops and videos with Glen Beck? Uh, if she can't afford it on her salary, well she shouldn't be doing it right?? Why should we give her Welfare money? I don't think so.
She needs to stay home and take care of the needy people in the villages. If she were making a PAC to help them maybe I would give, but just so she can Jet around...No Way.
She needs to stay in Alaska do her Elected job, and NOTALIB guess why Barbie is going to the Alfalfa dinner in DC??? That's right to Meet PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!GET USED TO IT WINGNUT... PRESIDENT OBAMA!
MEANWHILE SHE STUFFS HER FACE WITH FILLET MINION AND NATIVES STARVE!
I'M SUGGESTING EVERYONE GO TO PRESIDENT OBAMA'S WEBSITE, YOU KNOW THE COMMUNITY ORGANIZER AND TELL HIM THAT!
And notalib you hold your breath b/c we won't give her a dime of WELFARE GOT THAT??? WELFARE, HER PAC IS WELFARE.

crytalwolf aka callgirl, relax, take a breath I know he is PRESIDENT OBAMA, he is my president for four years. I have no problem with that I just pray that America is still here in four years thats all. You say she needs to stay in Alaska to do her elected job, did you feel the same way when the Messiah was running around for two years to get selected to the White House, I bet you didn't.

But then I would not expect crytalwolf aka callgirl to actually be fair, it's not the nature of the progressive agenda.
