Jon Stewart makes an easy night of it by poking fun of the GOP. I mean really, how difficult is that these days?

Isn't it funny that all you really have to do is let the Republicans speak for themselves to demonstrate how racist, hateful, and out of touch they are with mainstream America?

Why yes, it is funny. And thank you for laughing.

They are vulgar, aren't they? Even God allows free choice.

  2. Jon Stewart speaks more truth and shows more than all the other media outlets combined.

    This CPAC was disgusting.

As far as Rush.. his statement of wanting Bush to fail.. I truly don't remember hearing anyone say they wanted him to fail. I didn't like him, even after 9-11, right after 9-11, when I was very close and watched in and saw him on TeeVee standing on the rubble I thought he was smug and arrogant, but I still never said I wanted him to fail. Because I loved my country. I wanted my country to succeed. I wanted my President to succeed. I had no respect for him, but I respected the office he held, and I supported the job he had to do, until he started shredding the constitution, of course I didn't know at the time it was 9-12th he started doing that...lol

But, I still never wished for him to fail. I tried to make sure he didn't get re-elected...is that the same thing?? I don't think so.

Annette...not wanting him to be re-elected is not the same as wanting him to fail.

What kind of a patriot says that about the leader of their beloved country? Obama was elected because people wanted change. They wanted honesty and integrity. The poor man has only been in office for a little more than a month...but the critics are heralding an all out battle cry. It makes me very afraid. The likes of Rush Limbaugh are quite capable of inciting many of the truly mentally ill people out there to do something just awful.

Bloggers like gryphen and mudflats and Phil.shannyn...they have to keep it up and we have to support them. I cannot believe how much I have learned just by reading these folks. They all seem like normal everyday people...educated...and who THINK. I dont believe any of them to be reactionary but rather proactive.

Its people like them...and all of us who will in the end...ensure that the Rush Limbaughs of the world are forgotten...and Sarah Palin gets nowhere near a national ticket.
