The teen love affair that rocked last year's presidential race is over.
Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, has ditched her baby daddy, Levi Johnston!
Now's Levi's sister, Mercede is telling all exclusively to Star and the picture she paints of life in Wasilla, Alaska is not a pretty one. Bristol, 18, has virtually cut Levi out of the life of their two-month-old son Tripp.
"Levi tries to visit Tripp every single day, but Bristol makes it nearly impossible. She tells him he can't take the baby to our house because she doesn't want him around 'white trash'!" Bristol won't even allow him to watch the baby for a few hours -- unless he's babysitting!
The worst part, Mercede continues, is that the former vice presidential candidate supports Bristol's treatment of Levi, 19. "I used to love Sarah," Mercede says sadly.
"But I've lost lots of respect for her."
Everybody that I have ever talked to about this issue have said that getting Levi out of the picture wars the next step for the Palins. So no surprise here.
So my question is, has Sherry Johnston NEVER seen this baby? Or is Mercedes saying that she has RARELY seen this baby?
I think it is time for some reporters to swarm back over to Wasilla and see what else they can learn now that there is a huge chink in the Palin family armor. I just have a feeling this is only the tip of the iceberg.
Update: The Huffington Post actually has a little more on this story. Including this delicious little quote: Mercede also told Star: "Bristol's just crazy. That's the nicest way I can put it. She and Levi actually broke up a while ago!"

Update 3: Since today we are all about the gossip, I may as well add that I have been sitting on a story about Levi Johnston having knocked up another Wasilla teenager. I heard this story waaaay back in January from a writer for the National Enquirer. I even went out to Wasilla to check it out, but only came up with a few other people who had heard the rumor but nobody that could confirm it. The other hot rumor at that time was the rumor of a Levi Johnston/Todd Palin argument overheard by neighbors. I have it on pretty good authority that it happened, but not what it was about. Could any of this be connected? Could be.
Gee I feel just like Gossip Girl.
If Levi is indeed Tripp's father, Tripp's already one-half "white trash"--a generous estimate, considering his maternal grandparents. This is just sad, but no sadder than the whole Palin childbirth issue--does Bristol have one baby? Two? Either way, that girl is up a creek without a paddle. Stuck stuck stuck.

ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to the children. However Sarah Palin is just so "evil" in so many ways I can't help but enjoy it when she gets caught in one of her lies.
The Mudflats has a post about it too - and in the comments there is info. on Britol's job with a high school swim coach (she is NOT attending school) and that she spends a lot of extra time with him (though no affair is spoken of) - he's 30, unmarried
Wonder if Mercede was paid for the story - and if so I'm sure others who are not happy with Palin may offer up more tidbits to publications willing to pay for info.
I wonder how Greta feels knowing she was lied to last month in the interview with Bristol, where they told Greta that Bristol was persuing her education, Levi was a hands on dad and they were going to be married

If you recall, when Queen Sarah introduced Levi, she never said he was the father of her expected child. All she said was he was "the young man Bristol was going to marry."

I can't tell you how happy I am that someone other than a Palin is profiting from all the family scandals...up until now it has been Sarah profiting from sleeping in her own home, Sarah's children getting free trips across the country, and Sarah's family who got a free house to live in.

The only white trash here are the Palins who use everyone and everything including their own spawn to further their agendas or pursue their vendettas. High time they got a taste of their own medicine. I don't feel sorry for Bristol at all...turns out she is a user and liar just like her mom...unfortunately she also got the stupid genes from Sarah as well..those darn gotcha interviews will come back to bite you.

Now, if Levi wants to see this baby and be in his life, he needs to trot himself down to social services office and DEMAND they do a paternity test to determine that he is, indeed, the father.
ReplyDeleteHe will, of course, need to pay child support then (as well he should anyway if he's the daddy), but I bet there would be a lot of stonewalling on the paternity test from the Palin clan.
Do you think that this might have anything to do with the upcoming Sherri Johnston drug trial? She'll need $$$ for a good defense, and this timing looks like a good way for Sarah to distance herself from potential trouble. What a problem-- on one hand, Sherri has a good story to sell, and on the other hand, that governor can make things easy or tough for her, just saying.
ReplyDeleteWould Levi's people stand behind him if he wanted joint custody of his son? Has Levi signed any confidentially papers? He is young, but it seems if he wanted more of a say in his son's well being he could have it. Esp if he knew of fraud, lies or disturbances that could be child abuse or neglect towards any of the children. Why won't he and the Johnstons stand up for his rights and independence?

Being called names like "white trash" is nothing. He is going down in Alaskan history as the one named as the father of Tripp. It will be what he does as Tripp's father that matters. What kind of people would leave their offspring under the control of the Palins?
Bristol/Sarah want Levi gone. Is he willing to just go away?
If he is the biological father, he shouldn't need to play along to see his son. He could go for joint custody, what are his parental rights in Alaska?
How deep are the Johnstons and Palins actually enmeshed? I once read something about Keith Johnston involved in hockey. Was he connected to Sarah's rink? They are all stuck with each other one way or another. They are already responding to Mercedes statements. Bristol and Levi will be friends and do what is best for the baby. It all sounds like more bs.
ReplyDeleteWell, Gryphen, I am not really surprised. Knowing that Palin was going to be the VP pick, I thought it was odd that they were not already married before that month. I was surprised that Mercede's pictures of her little brother Trig came out right before the VP vote; and Sherry Johnston's arrest after the election (for putting the pictures on line, I wondered). And I think Palin outed Levi's apprentice job on the North Slope. She put all the information out there knowing the MSM would check it out.
