ReplyDeleteI apologize for removing the comments, you all know that I usually let through all of the comments that are not attacking other posters or making disparaging remarks against one of my fellow bloggers.
So today I sort to half way read many of the posts and did not find them terribly offensive, but I missed the fact that they contained a little too much information about our favorite blog administrator over at C4P.
I have NO problem with people speaking out about individuals who have said or done ugly things on the internet, or engaged in character assassination of people on our side of the political divide, but I CANNOT allow the privacy of a private citizen to be breached on this site.
We can attack Ms. Mansour all day over things she says online and she is welcome to do the dame thing back. But her private life, and that of her family, must remain off limits!
She were ALL angered at what Mike Doogan did to AKM just a few short months ago, how hypocritical of us to engage in the very same behaviors.
Having said that I, once again, apologize for deleting your comments and hope that we can be respectful enough from now on that I will never have to do that again in the future.

Well Maria that's because it was never really about the photoshop itself as much as it was simply a reason to attack Celtic Diva. If it really was about the photoshop we'd have heard much more from Palin and her fans by now. Instead if you look at their site you will see how many topics devoted to Celtic Diva? Quite a few.
This was and still continues to be nothing more than a personal crusade by Palin and her fans to try and stifle those who would hold her accountable for her actions and behavior.

ReplyDeleteDon't you find it interesting that these cult followers appear to be on some sort of crusade? Way back when (before SP opened her yap), it was actually bloggers putting out info about SP that was vital to voters in the rest of the country.
The fact that this small group of individuals (15 in New York?????) is now targeting individuals who are posting truthful material, and attacking personally, says a lot about the politician who encourages this behavior in her followers.
Although I have issues with SP and her supporters, they do bring on many responses from your supporters as well. The attacks have gone from pertinent to personal - I believe that many of us are frustrated at someone who would allow their followers to attack in this manner.
The hatred that comes from these Palin supporters is appallng to most of us. This has gone beyond politics - this isn't the way I've seen campaigns play out.
I don't see her purpose. I don't understand what is to be accomplished by the hating. She lost the election and so far has not declared whether she intends to run again or in the future (although I think most of us know she sees herself as POTUS and we don't).
It is unlikely she will ever rule any portion of the Party. Her unfavorables are sky high. She basically killed off her own political career.
As for RAM, she is pretty irrelevant. I'm not interested in her personal info. These haters tend to have very short shelf lives.
So we go on. As long as it's personal with Palin, she'll keep shooting herself in the foot, which suits us just fine.
I apologize for my snarky comment about RAM (although probably justifiably deserved) and can only say that sometimes I lose my cool too. We see and hear the same things you do, and the hatred and the unfairness sometimes just makes us say things either the wrong way, or maybe we shouldn't say.

However, as we know, Megaphone is the gift that keeps on giving, and the next faux scandal is certainly not far away.

ITA absolutely. If people choose to google to find out info, that is a personal choice. I wasn't and am not interested in RAM's personal info. I do understand it was done in order to show how easily individuals can be exposed to the bright light of day.
RAM has made her choices - in my opinion, she has shown she had poor judgment. But that's her choice and her life - when Palin goes down, they'll all go down with her.
We don't have to - they're doing it themselves.

Neocon/pro-Palin sites are calling her response to Kerry "classy". They're also saying the only thing she didn't add was "Bless his heart" which they say, if you're a Southerner, you know what that means (Urban Dictionary meaning here).
Yeah, like the New York Yankees are "classy"...and if you follow baseball, you know what THAT means.
