This is what issued forth from the vile depths of Megan Stapletongue's facial orifice:
Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.
The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.
Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned.
This of course is in response to Linda's Kellen Biegel's use of a photoshopped picture of Sarah Palin holding a baby with Eddie Burke's face superimposed over the babies face. (Sorry baby)
This was clearly done to parody Eddie Burke's mommy complex concerning our Governor, and it wasn't even the first time that this picture was altered for humorous effect.
However the Cee4Pee'ers went out of their collective pea sized minds and started to send Linda a bunch of crazy venom soaked e-mails (Look I don't know how you soak e-mails in venom either. They just did!). And now we see that somebody has yanked the chain on the Governor's spokes-pitbull and reminded her that she works for the mentally deranged fringe that simply must attack ANYONE who dares challenge the ethics of "Ester queen of the frozen north".
So thank you Meg for proving that the hard work done by Celtic Diva, and the other Alaskan bloggers, is having such a profound effect on the Governor and her supporters. If not for your constant reinforcement we would not be sure we were having any impact at all.
Oh and thanks for helping Linda's fundraising efforts. Because as soon as she was attacked by Eddie Burke, C4P, TeamSarah, and now Megan, Linda started raising MUCH more money than she was raising before all of the attention.
Perhaps we owe you dinner Meg. What time do they usually throw raw meat into your cage?
Update: CNN has picked up this story now as well.
Update 2: I just got off the phone with Linda and she is only about $700 away from her goal. If you CAN give then please DO give, it would amazing if she were to reach her goal today and that it could be the direct result of the Palin supporters so called "outrage". Poetic justice, no?

"iconic" only in Sarah's mind
ReplyDelete"photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation"
ReplyDeleteNow shes saint sarah and the magic baby.
bleck....
Dedicated to Palin, Meg and the fans:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.australiangamer.com/images/stuff/epic-fail.jpg
Someone commented that Sarah can go four days without her name in the paper, but not five days. Mark Sanford's crazy behavior has pushed poor Sarah out of the headlines, hence the need for this stupid story.
ReplyDeleteAdvice to Sarah Palin: GO MISSING FOR A FEW DAYS! Please, wander off into the woods, set off on a floating chunk of ice or better yet, row a boat over to Russia. Some sexy emails will help progress the story, too, also.
Palin is unraveling so quickly it's making my head spin! For her to pick such huge national battles with bloggers and comedians shows that her paranoia is reaching astronomical levels. Please! Just make it stop!
ReplyDeleteJust made CNN.com. I wonder how many more it will make?
ReplyDeletehttp://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/06/25/palin-hits-back-at-malicious-photo/#more-57724
Sorry, Meg, but I don't belong to your religion (Palianity?), so I can't see a picture of an ethically-challenged politician holding her grandson up in a blatant pitch to grab the anti-choice vote as "iconic". Ergo, someone using it to make fun of Burke doesn't strike me as a "desecration."
ReplyDeletePalin and her apostles are really straying into Jim Jones land.
That said, let's please try to avoid giving the Palinists any more opportunities to don their hair shirts and ride forth in defense of those "poor little children." Only their mama is allowed to use and abuse them. Hurry, iceberg.
"an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child."
ReplyDeleteOnly in Sarah Palin's twisted world is the picture of a smirking woman holding a shell-shocked previously-drugged 4 month old DS baby face-to-the-screaming-crowd like a sacrificial offering, "an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child."
She's about as far from an "icon" of American motherhood as Britney Spears is from Harriet Nelson.
uh....it's GINO and Eddie Burke that should be the affronted ones; NO ONE is denigrating poor Trig. GINO and Staplegun DO KNOW this but they CHOOSE to make a big skewed deal out of it, just like they did with Letterman.
ReplyDeleteOh, and, so sorry you're a public figure Sarah, I'm sure you just HATE that part of being Gov.
Oh, my lord. I can't believe this is making national headlines. CNN? I seriously thought it was obvious that it was showing that Palin and Burke were close. Since Trig's face is cut out, it has nothing to do with Trig. Yesterday was the first day I ventured over to C4Pee. And I almost did just that. I laughed so hard at the comments, that I almost had to...pee.
ReplyDeleteExcuse my ignorance as a South African living in Cape Town. American English is not my first language! I'm puzzled by the word 'desecrated'... I thought it meant violating something sacred. Am I missing something?
ReplyDeleteI read some of the comments following the CNN article. There are the usual Palinbots with their capital letters and overdone outrage and literal minds. There are more comments dismissing the issue. A lot of them say "Get over it" basically and others noted the use of the word desecration in Meg S.'s statement. Desecration is usually referring to religious objects being attacked. What fools they are, these Palin supporters, to put Sarah up on a religious pedestal. Sarah, who wrote that card after Trig was born, speaking as if she were God. I wonder if they would have been able to carry on about the image if it had been drawn by a political cartoonist? If anybody wants to do an image like that in the future, I'd be happy to make it a cartoon for them!!
ReplyDeleteMaria: No, you're not missing anything at all. Megalomaniac hasn't been in the news for a couple of days, now Sanford has the front page. Meg Stapletongue wants Palin in the news.
ReplyDeleteIn spite of the fact that the "baby" is Eddie Burke and not drugged (like Trig appears to be in public), it's simply another SP game to get her name in the news.
NOTHING to see. The Peeing in the Sea morons simply can't stand it if SP isn't front page news.
On the other hand, the rest of us are thrilled that ANOTHER Republican religious white guy politician did the dirty and got caught. The hypocrisy of these people is unreal.
Too bad they closed comments on the story on CNN. The Wild Wordsmith of Wasilla is trying to keep herself in the news because she gets more donations when this happens and she knows her legal bills in the future are going to be huge. I am in a public cafe laughing like a crazy person.
ReplyDeleteMajor Distraction once again. Is it going to wotk this time to take the attenition off of the real isssues?
ReplyDeleteI just checked out CNN's article and comments seem to be running 98/2 for Sarah to just go away, shut up, and "you done brung this on yerself"
ReplyDeletePeople are laughing at youse guys, Sarah and Megletongue.
OH!! And, where is the statement from Sarah Palin, the Republican Governor of Alaska, in regards to the recent statement from the Governor of South Carolina? Shouldn't Sarah be commenting on the shameful adultery and dereliction of duty from Gov Sanford? She remains silent about THAT and chooses to rant about a silly photoshop thing? I notice she has also not ranted about PalinDeception, which has CLEARLY posted MUCH WORSE stuff about GINO's alleged pregnancy with Trig. One poster in particular has (in the past) repeatedly suggested that WILLOW could be Trig's mother. Where is her outrage about THAT? Or does PD touch too too close to home to make her want to comment on it, for fear that the general public may become skeptical of that whole pregnancy and that whole house of cards goes kaplooey?
I still can't get over the words of 'iconic' and 'desecrate' and 'mothers love' - all in the same sentence with ScaraCuda...
ReplyDeleteWHO THE BLEEP DO THEY THINK SHE IS??? MOTHER TERESA? HOLY MOTHER MARY???
None of them has noticed that in the ORIGINAL photo, she does NOT show mothers love - SHE SHOWS OFF A PROP!
I think Palin has unwittingly hit on the perfect strategy to create a new image for herself:
ReplyDeleteFrom now on, ALL pictures of Sarah Palin are to be considered as iconic representations. Therefore, no one will be allowed to criticize or make fun of any picture that includes Sarah Palin.
In addition, the iconic writings and speeches of Sarah Palin will be similarly protected.
Ironically, or is that iconically, yours...
RobDoub
Maybe "Meg the mouth" is a mole in Palin's cult!
ReplyDeleteThis latest outrage has done two very good things:
1. Put yet another spotlight on how petty and lame Sarah Palin is
2. Given a tremendous boost to Celtic Diva's fund drive to pay the state to divulge e-mails between SP and EB.
It really looks like she's working FOR the AK progressives, and in general, the Democrats everywhere.
This is ridiculous. Sarah is drunk on imagined power. She thinks she bested Letterman, when in fact that was an incredibly stupid move on her part. Now she believes she's going to tell bloggers what they may and may not photoshop? I propose everyone who can, repost the pictures. Send them out. I'm also going to collect any that anyone sends (that aren't truly indecent) at Palinoscopy. Sarah needs to understand that she doesn't get to make the rules. In that spirit I propose that any photoshop adept should make a demonstration of that very fact for dear Sarah.
ReplyDeleteanon at 8:21
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your comment regarding the fact that Sarah has never ranted against Palin Deception. The same applies of course to other blogs when they were reporting about "babygate", like Immoral Minority, Palingates and Ennealogic's blog. The plain fact is that Sarah has not given birth to Trig. Therefore any kind of ranting about "Trig-Trutherism" is just a now-win situation from Sarah's point of view. For the same reason, Sarah would never start a lawsuit - you can be a "Trig Truther" with impunity. It's just a shame that "babygate" is still not back in MSM yet.
Good point about Palin's Deceptions. And of course Celtic Diva has the money now to get the emails and that is why Palin throws all she has at HER.
ReplyDeleteGryphen, great post! ROFLO Love your wit!
ReplyDeleteGINO is a media hog, that's for sure. And I agree with Kajo @ 7:27. I would not characterize GINO's behavior towards Trig as a loving mother.
I hope the iceberg gives ol' GINO all the publicity she desires.
OT Farrah Fawcett passed away.
Can SOMEONE FIND A PICTURE OF WILLOW AT THE YANKEES GAME PLEASEEEEEE?
ReplyDelete;-)
How would I descibe this latest 'faux outrage '..?
ReplyDelete" Someone was shot in the foot today... it was self-inflicted "
No band-aid will be able to cover up this wound. Bleeding profusely at the moment......
So they were ok with this(I wish I could embed the pic)
ReplyDeletehttp://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/6184/maliasashaobamapregnantxa2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://mrssatan.blogspot.com/2009/01/malia-or-sasha-pbama-which-will-be.html&usg=__aVUWPziaT0__x5cY38Yi-jwaeOA=&h=288&w=432&sz=65&hl=en&start=8&um=1&tbnid=omHl8X6lVIZssM:&tbnh=84&tbnw=126&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dsasha%2Bmalia%2Bal%2Bsharpton%2Bphotoshop%26hl%3Den%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-us%26rlz%3D1I7GZAZ_en%26um%3D1
I have to say, I don't think doing that was a very nice thing to do (to any baby Downs or not).
ReplyDeleteBUT come on, for Meg to write something like that to the national media?? It makes Sarah Palin look STUPID AND THIN SKINNED. Don't they realize that NOBODY wants a president, let alone anyone in public office that is so reactive like that!!!
She is ruining her own chances but hey, I am glad about it. Very very stupid move on the part of the Governors office. Who the hell is advising them? She needs to just ignore stuff.
All of you have seen the thousands of photos and things done to Barack Obama!! He has never whined to the press the way Sarah does. What Meg is doing is trying to take the emphasis in the media off of the coming iceberg, don't ya think!!
We need to make sure CNN and ALL MEDIA know about that. That should be our mission.
God, I really can't stand Sarah Palin. I have never felt this way about any other politician. She is an opportunist and a bitch and I am glad she is digging her own political grave. She doesn't need the bloggers help, but she doesn't get that because she is SO DENSE.
Or this
ReplyDeletehttp://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/7153/sashababybump.jpg&imgrefurl=http://mrssatan.blogspot.com/2009/04/sasha-obamas-baby-bump.html&usg=__GZuqLibdT5cr9rJgOLAzcyMJy6Y=&h=594&w=440&sz=103&hl=en&start=23&um=1&tbnid=m9MYDiKgMW6REM:&tbnh=135&tbnw=100&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dsasha%2Bmalia%2Bal%2Bsharpton%2Bphotoshop%26ndsp%3D20%26hl%3Den%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-us%26rlz%3D1I7GZAZ_en%26sa%3DN%26start%3D20%26um%3D1
Ok,those links may not work, but if you Google sasha malia photoshop you can find the image
ReplyDelete...I meant "no-win situation"...sorry!
ReplyDeleteYou know what else KILLS me about Meg's statement. She must have used the words "special needs" baby like 3 times! I did not count. But the point is, doesn't her outrage extend to ALL babies??
ReplyDeleteWe better make sure to keep her statements where she USES TRIG for policial purposes. When it comes out that he is NOT Sarah's baby at all, which it will, then all of those things can be put forward as evidence as to how she uses him for political purpose.
Now THAT is sickening - her using of this child as a sympathy tool. Sarah Palin and Meghan Stapleton should be ashamed of themselves for this!! What the F is wrong with them? What a STUPID, STUPID move on their part.......
"Perhaps we owe you dinner Meg. What time do they usually throw raw meat into your cage?"
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gryphen. I needed the laugh!
So, I guess the next step for an iconic figure who has been desecrated is to move to the Vatican for protection! Maybe someone should tell the Pope he needs to pack. This gets better and better.
ReplyDeleteHere's a perfect opportunity for the Diva to get the point across that Sarah is not Trigger's mommy. If the MSM wants the story then they should be interested in the Diva's side of it and she can tell what's on her mind.
ReplyDeleteFor someone who says not to exploit children, Palin sure does exploit her children at nearly every opportunity.
ReplyDeleteThe simple fact of the matter is this. Sarah Palin used her children as political props and isn't willing to suffer the consequences.
ReplyDelete1. She "outed" Bristol's pregnancy.
2. She dragged little Piper around for 2 months when the kid should have been in school.
3. She dragged Willow along on the Autism March without checking to see if she was wearing something suitable for the occassion. (No Lettereman jokes here, just making a list).
4. She put Bristol in some pretty uncomfortable interviews to promote Abstinence after Bristol just gave brith to a baby (which implies that she wasn't abstinent).
5. SHE DRAGGED TRIG AROUND DURING THE 2008 CAMPAIGN INSTEAD OF ALLOWING HIM TO GET MUCH NEED THERAPY. She has used him as an example of her advocacy for disabled children, when she has actually cut funding for those programs.
6. By constantly putting her kids into every situation, dragging them along and charging the public for their little vacation, guess what-- she invites criticism. Problem is, she can't take any criticism. Sarah's outrage is highly selective. She has chosen to be outrage right now because no one is paying attention to her.
Need to thank the Palin Trolls for bringing Linda to national attention. She will surely reach her goal now!
ReplyDeleteThe Nation has also learned of the ridiculous amount of money that the Palin Administration is asking for those emails.
GO LINDA!
Again, outstanding points about Sarah Palin not being the birth mother of Trig Palin.
ReplyDeleteShe goes after comedians and cartoons but not those with The Truth. She does not because she has no evidence. None.
Hey, GINO, remember the walls of Jericho??
ReplyDelete“Desecration” and “iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child”??
ReplyDeleteStapletongue is depicting Sarah and Trig on an equal status to that of the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus.
If the C4P congregation enshrines Trig as a religious icon, they should be worshiping the Twice-Not-Virgin Bristol and her Baby Trig. Sarah is just His grandmother.
I've just posted two appropriate articles about how Palin herself has mistreated Trig at Progressive Alaska. The articles are by Shannyn Moore and Lee Tompkins.
ReplyDeleteI see only one way for Sarah to become the cartoon police and the joke police re herself and her family. She must trademark her name and the names of all the kids. Yes, that small capital "T" after each name should do it. Once done, NO ONE can use her name (or childrens' names) without written permission from the icon/tademark owner,Sarah. Since she is still a goverment official (sigh), this will make things difficult on all reporters and news outlets, but hey - it is worth it for this "iconic representation of a mother's love" to protect her children, right?
ReplyDeleteSARAH PALIN: CULTURE WARRIOR AND DRAMA QUEEN, YES; GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP, NOT SO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteThousands of Alaskan families suffered miserably this year from high energy prices and inadequate fuel supplies. Alaskan coastal communities reeled from declining fish runs exacerbated by ill-considered marine fisheries policies. Alaskan river communities were decimated by catastrophic flooding.
On which of these Alaskan issues is Sarah Palin concentrating her political capital? None.
She’s been busy manufacturing outrage for deposed beauty queen Carrie Prejean and at entertainer David Letterman (and now Linda Kellen Biegel).
Meanwhile, governance of Alaska has been left to others:
• She failed to carry her agenda through the last legislative session;
• She disenfranchised Juneau-area residents while she remained at loggerheads with Democrats over the appointment of a replacement state senator – challenging common sense and law while daring legislators to cross lines she figuratively toed in the dirt;
• She suffered the only rejected confirmation of a governor’s cabinet appointee in Alaskan statehood history;
• She retreated repeatedly over threatened rejection of federal stimulus funds, settling for a commonsense-defying token veto of badly-needed energy funds – incurring agreement by both parties’ legislative leaders that they should consider a rare veto override.
She’s forsaken governance while aspiring to leadership of an ever-dwindling segment of the electorate.
Even young evangelicals are abandoning culture-war wedge issues for substantive policy goals in areas such as protecting the environment and reducing poverty, and seeking leadership more in tune with their concerns.
Trading barbs with a late-night television comic is not a recognized characteristic of leadership; many would consider this penchant for the muck to be the antithesis of leadership. It does, though, support conservative columnist Kathleen Parker’s September 2008 assessment that Palin is both “vindictive” and “immature.”
Palin’s “vindictive” immaturity and the self-serving hypocrisy of her belated attempt to cast herself as the spokesperson for feminist outrage are on display when an Anchorage radio host railed against Lyda Green , Republican Senate President, cancer-survior, and former Palin mentor: “Lyda Green is a bitch, and she needs to go away because she is a cancer on the progress of the state of Alaska." Palin laughed.
The b-word: one of the most common degrading labels applied specifically to a woman. Regarding Letterman, Sarah Palin maintained that “degrading” remarks about women are “not funny;” except, apparently, when applied to someone she no longer likes.
The irony is amplified when you consider the Letterman affair began with a Sarah Palin interview by John Ziegler, who has been building his resume around Palin: peddling a DVD he produced from a video interview in her home; a principal behind the firedavidletterman.com Web site and the failed protest outside the Ed Sullivan Theater; and booking Palin as the first guest on the premier of his conservative radio talk show June 8.
Ziegler is on record saying he likes a woman “who is informed and is rational, which I realize is kind of an oxymoron for women.” So, Sarah Palin can simultaneously revile New York/LA media types who may feign misogyny when they mock her, while exploiting LA/New York media types who embrace misogyny, so long as they adore her. Self-serving, hypocritical, and opportunistic.
Sarah Palin resists detailed policy discussions, defers on issues of governance, escalates drama, and embraces cultural issues when they serve her cause.
There is a segment - dwindling as it may be - of society that reveres Sarah Palin as a potent leader and would like to follow her to the ends – and perhaps the end-times – of the world; but only in a world where being the first lemming to leap over the cliff can be considered leadership, could Sarah Palin truly be considered a leader.
Has SarahPAC morphed into TEAM SAINT PALIN or was it ever thus? They should be investigated as a religious cult.
ReplyDeleteTEAM SAINT PALIN loves Christians and Scientologists alike....Interesting Christian "end times" hybrid for her undereducated followers to work with.
As others have said, this is all GREAT. She is showing herself to be a rank amateur, petty, vindictive.....
ReplyDeleteHas Obama EVER called People magazine to complain that bloggers are mean to him? Imagine it.
Wouldn't it be a photo manipulation, if you took a photo and manipulated it to look like an actual photo or image? But you did change it. IMO, when you add a photo or a manipulated photo to a display that is not photo manipulation. Would you call that a montage?
ReplyDeleteWhere the baby is, let's say they put a slugs body and there was no part of a baby but Eddie Burkes' head was added. Would that be acceptable for c4p?
Why was the David Letterman baby acceptable to c4p?
BTW, everybody, the ORIGINAL of that "iconic" picture photoshopped is at Blue Gal--Red State under her June 19, 2009 invitation to caption the picture.
ReplyDeleteSpecifically here.
I've now adopted it as my new avatar, in honor of Celtic Diva, who only adopted the IDEA that Blue Gal originated.
Feel free to borrow it for your own use (hey, someone over at C4P did that to my REAL face/avatar, only without permission -- I have a C4P stalker!).
Meggie, dear, time to jump ship before it is too late.
ReplyDeleteTodd Palin had to scream rape, when that was not it. Now it is claimed they know the intent of an artist and that it is about a baby with special needs. That can't stand up b/c it is another lie.
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't want to knock someones icons, that photo of SP is not iconic to me. If I had to chose a photo or image of her for an icon, I would not show her as her handlers and followers want.
As far as babies, Trigg or Tripp, it will be good to shine more light on what has gone on with them as their parents have put them in the public eye. The appearances of abuse must be investigated by serious child advocates. The fact that Dr CBJ is an abuse specialist and doesn't notice a problem is dangerous for babies. I hope there is much more public scruntiny about her as a doctor who is awarded for her work with abuse. She can remain silent. Her part about delivering Trigg and helping McCain are other matters involving her. She has clout for being an abuse expert but what is it really about? It is not out of the question that there are places like shelters, that serve more to protect the abusers and not the abused. A shelter set up can serve to keep perpetrators from being exposed. There are too many questions about her to ignore. We are hearing more about rape, statutory rape and abuse. Wasilla has too many secrets, it is time they all come out.
Heard the Eddie Burke/Mansewer (yes, I meant to spell it that way ;D) interview. Sick, sick, sick. Kept screaming special needs child every 2 sec. Didn't bother them a bit that she dragged that poor drugged angel around with her campaigning exposing him to late nights, bright lights, screaming crowds, cold, wind, air flights harmful to Downs Syndrome children, etc., etc., etc.. Passed him around like a sack of moose droppings. Yah - a real loving mother. Even the picture of her holding Trig looking at him (for a change) looks like she's looking at something distasteful. Not a loving look in the slightest - ICONIC?
ReplyDeletePeeland has the email addresses of all the Legislators up so their band of terrorists can email them about Linda's outrageous behavior. OMG!
Gotta thank them for helping with the fund raising and bringing this to national awareness. More exposure for Palin insanity. Way to help her chances c4p. Keep up the good work.
I am really sick and tired of Palin's attempts to shut down free speech. They are on a par with the fanatical Muslims who rioted in Denmark because a cartoonist had a depiction of Mohammed - peace be upon him - (and the cartoon wasn't even particularly bad). I don't want free speech shut down and I especially don't want to live in an America where humorists are muzzled.
ReplyDeleteAnd, for what it's worth to all you mainstream media: You are really denigrating yourselves and your credibility and your reputations by giving this sort of CRAP the attention you give it.
It's like all you supposed serious news outlets have gone tabloid. I mean it! Have some standards, will you?
Oh no (fist shaking and foot stomping) where is our false outrage and vicious remarks? Someone photo shopped Sasha and Malia. Damn them!! Damn those Satanists to hell!!
ReplyDeleteHey, Sarah? Sarah, sweetie? Notice that Obama is doing the CLASSY thing which is IGNORING THE PICTURES instead of dragging his daughters through the national mud? Huh, sweetie? Did you notice that? Take notes now. That's a good girl.
Is Sarah trying to say that Eddie Burke is Trig's father?
ReplyDeletePatti, a very good observation! I think this is a fabulous day for Alaska citizens. National attention to subjects that many are unaware of who do not frequent Alaskan bloggers web sites. Now they will and they'll read about Palin, ask questions and more questions. That is trouble for SP.
ReplyDeletePlus, they will find out the costs that the Palin administration are using when requests are made under FOIA. That rings of conspiracy doesn't it and is that a Federal crime?
So today becomes a very good day, thanks to Palin supporters who really should know when to pick their fights and they look stupid when it is now known that this picture in question was first put on the website of Crooks and Liars, per June 19, 2009. (with no response from them)
And Eddie Burke whom the Diva picture features, pleads no contest to sexual assault and bribe charges.
Yes indeed, a very good day for the people of Alaska.
Well, now David on MSNBC has picked up the story!!
ReplyDeleteShe wins again. All 3 political people on MSNBC just now say that it puts her back on top of the spotlight and can help her by refocusing on special needs children. I swear she can't lose.
ReplyDeleteI want to know why Governor Sanford's e-mails were so readily available while Celtic Diva was asked to pay for Governor-in-name-only Palin e-mails?
ReplyDeleteDiva will not even get them all. Fund raising help with payment was in order and the iconic thermometer was perfect!
I think that ol' GINO is trying to distance herself from Burke and his "Homophobic Red Shirt Bible Thumping Nazi Gay Bashing Tea Bagging Fascist White Guy Bigot" t-shirt. The pictures of Burke proudly wearing his new red t-shirt showed up on The Mudflats within the last 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, ol' GINO is using Trig as a distraction. Yep, I think the statement was worded to keep folks attention on the statement, rather than that red t-shirt. Pallin' around with a Nazi?????
Holy crap! Only $700 away? Yay! Guess we can thank C4P and Meg Stapletounge for bringing this cause some attention on CNN and Huffington Post.
ReplyDeleteIn November 2008, we were so despondant at the thought that George W. Bush would be leaving office and along with him, all of our golden comedy material. There is nothing funny about Barack Obama; we just can't make fun of him, no matter how hard we try.
ReplyDeleteSo, whenever Sarah Palin opens her mouth to say something even dumber than the last time, even dumber that something GWB would have said, we say another prayer, "Thank You Sarah!"
Signed, with love, and please keep on making crazy comments, you make our job fun again,
The David Letterman Comedy Writers
PS Legal disclosure comment: This is satire and not a real letter from any comedy writers. Please do not threaten Letterman with a law suit, demonstration or other kind of juvenile reaction.
Another Alaska blogger has written an article that the story about Trig is not true and not a conspiracy theory. I am positive he is wrong.
ReplyDeleteHis blog is linked here on the left side "Progressive Alaska." His comments really upset me because this is a very important issue.
Just today her crying out about her special needs baby. Babygate cannot be forgotten. And it is not a conspiracy theory that is politically motivated.
Please pay that blog a visit and share your thoughts with him. He is not a Sarah fan, but he would like to leave this issue behind. I think it is a big mistake to leave it behind.
Someone who thinks she represents MOTHERS all across America who does something like this needs to be outed, sorry......
If it might be any consolation to Linda, the Tabloid Gov just got upstaged today by the demise of everybody's favorite Angel, and one of her most ardent admirers, the oft-reconstructed Michael Jackson.
ReplyDeleteI have my doubts about that latest being of natural causes, forgive me if I'm wrong (and too suspicious).
If this repeat faux outrage story hadn't already been overshadowed by Sanford INDEED spending state money to meet his honey, it will be by those two stories.
Back to the back pages, Gov!
Sarah and Meg obviously don't realize that this deranged statement will just attract huge traffic to Linda's blog...and what will everyone see? That Sarah's office is charging over $5000 for emails requested under the FOIA. This will open up a whole week of bad Palin press.
ReplyDeleteLook like Sarah's a little jealous of Mark Sanford's press coverage. Maybe she should fly to foreign lands and get herself some strange.
Agree with Patrick regarding Palin's Deceptions. If Sarah was not afraid of all that evidence, she would have slapped them with a lawsuit months ago, and blamed it on Obama and the DNC. Won't it be funny when the truth comes out about Trig? Oooh, the irony...
Desecration? ICONIC?????? So now I suppose she's the Virgin Mary? Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI think Sarah was desperate for some more media attention.....the Letterman issue had been milked for all it was worth, but SP suddenly got bumped out of the headlines by that pesty Governor Sanford. (what a nerve he had!) Gotta think of something else to have a knee-jerk reaction to!! Whip up the supporters into a frenzy!! Pander to Special needs families!! Shout about "Family Values!" Make a statement about something, anything!! Gotta be relevant!!
What she doesn't understand is, she might win a couple points in a little tiff here and there, but she'll lose the war. NO ONE who wants to be a serious Presidential candidate would stoop to get involved in these trivial catfights. Even Bush wasn't that dumb!...he laughed off his critics, and went right on his merry way. Sarah is digging her own political grave, about a shovelful every 7 days, and she's doing it with her own phony hysteria.
::::door slam::::
What's that I hear? Could it be an avalanche headed GINO's way?
ReplyDeleteShe's getting some national attention for her fight w/Linda, but I don't think it's going to be the kind she really wants.
She just looks more and more like the petty whining nitwit she is!
Sarah & Meggie are right on with their desecration, iconic comments!!! Everyone knows that Sarah was able to "birth" Triggy Bear without having intercourse and no one knows who Trig's real "father" is. Sarah is the Immaculate Deception!
ReplyDeleteSt. Sarah of the Tundra, hallowed be thy name. Your beloved followers are egregiously outraged by those disbelievers and wastrels who have committed sacrilege against your holy name and defiled the sacred image of your issue.
ReplyDeleteThe Holy Order of Chaos 4 Perpetuity will defend your honor--even if we don’t really know what the hell we’re thinking or even doing.
But when Great Megamouth speaks, we will follow because we really don’t have a life outside of worshipping you --I guess. Yeah that’s about it. OK, back to hating and all that stuff now.
Hooray, hooray, hooray for Linda!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love how the writer of the article ended the piece like this..."and the Alaska governor accused Biegel(of) "asinine political grandstanding."
I KNOW that writer left that dangling at the end to make a point - its clearly not the citizen blogger, but THE GOVERNOR who is guilty of asinine political grandstanding.
I just figured out
the GOP = The Grandstanding Old Pouters
Hey Meg and c4p…… go to wonkette! Look what you have wraught! Are you SURE you are on Palin's side? (Sometimes I think Meg and c4p are paid to RUIN Sarah).
ReplyDeletehttp://wonkette.com/409471/sarah-palin-yelling-at-some-blog-now-because-of-lil-trigger#more-409471
It is hysterical! And article refers to BRISTOL's baby Trig!!!!!
If an animal face had been photoshopped onto Trig, I could understand the outrage. This was the equivalent of a political cartoon. I actually don't cheer her strange behavior. Some of us have to work for her.
ReplyDeleteOK using the kids just because she does is in bad taste, but her reaction is over the top. It turned out good because now everyone can find out about her attempt to make the e mails unavailable due to over inflated cost. Just what is she trying to keep secret now? I wonder if she has already made up her story to cover her a$$ about them. Most likely most of the bad stuff will be blacked out. Speaking of e mails will she ever release the ones from last year? Will she be outraged at Mitt next? He said too bad she wasn't the one who when missing. She never misses a chance to jab at our respected President. If the Obama administration sets the moral compass for the party it's really good. He defended her family during the election, he's a very good father and husband, and he delivers good messages regarding parenting. Sarah nobody likes you, you might as well eat some worms.
ReplyDeleteYou just cannot make this stuff up!
ReplyDeleteFor the Palin group, the 1st Amendment simply does not exist.
btw - I thought Stapleton was working for a PAC instead of the State of Alaska. Did I get the wrong impression?
'Late Show' outdraws 'Tonight' for first time since '05
ReplyDeleteThe "Late Show" drew more viewers than the "Tonight Show" in last week's ratings -- the first time the CBS program has pulled a larger audience for a full-week average since 2005. NBC's program still firmly won among the key adult demo.
I wonder what Sarah/Mary and baby Trig/jesus think of that.
What's the difference bewteen Sarah Palin and a cult leader?
ReplyDeleteNothing.
THANK YOU, Meg the Stapletongue and PeePeeHeads!
ReplyDeleteLinda has raised the money needed--and you helped, by drawing national attention to her! ;)
+++Breaking news:+++
ReplyDelete"Wonkette" calls Trig "Bristol Palin's child":
http://tinyurl.com/mth7fc
And that doesn't look like a "mistake" to me.
There is something in the air... :-)

ReplyDelete"Megamouth" "Stapletongue"
Y'all crack me up!
Thanks for the thanking us for helping Diva during her fund raiser. Today we are collecting all these thank you comments from the liberal blogs as proof that she used Trig a Special Needs child as a joke in order to raise money as well as the Democratic party knowledge and agreement with this use of a handicapped child. Thanks again..your help is appreciated.
ReplyDeletejuju:
ReplyDeleteWith your lame attempt to rile your cult members to put up a full page ad on this non issue, you are showing what kind of petty person you are. Any sane person could see that the face on the picture was of Eddie but, obviously, you are not sane.
Proof that Linda used Trig as a joke? NO HONEY, Palin IS THE JOKE!
I'm beginning to realize that you Pee-NUTS ARE a SPECIAL NEEDS group.
Palin will NEVER be POTUS! NEVER! Too many intelligent people out there who vote.
Crawl Back under your TROLL BRIDGE!
@juju. Bloggers are thanking you because your lies backfired. It's called IRONY. Seriously, does anyone over there use a dictionary? Do you not understand? IRONY, PARODY & SATIRE are all part of COMEDY.
ReplyDeleteEveryone else in the world can see it. What is wrong with all of you? Whatever ad you are planning to run will just become fodder for more IRONY, PARODY, SATIRE & COMEDY.
Hey JuJu ~ I would like to personally thank you all for providing the PROOF that your little tantrum over the Palin/Burke photoshop was nothing more than a deliberate misrepresentation of the truth to lash out at someone you don't like, and that it had NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH CARING ABOUT TRIG OR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so transparent and you make it easy to see & prove that this was a personal vendetta
