Sarah Palin has thin skin, NOT thin hair, get it right!

Clicking the title will take you to a post on TBogg at Firedoglake who discusses the bizarre denials from Sarah Palin's hairdresser that she ever said that Queen Ester's hair was thinning, and a sample of the Twitter-storm that resulted from the New York Times quote and hairdresser JessicaBeehive's tweets of denial. (Yep, hairdresser Jessica Steele calls herself "JessicaBeehive apparently after her all time favorite hairstyle, You can NOT make this stuff up.)

What I find very interesting, but not at all surprising, is that the article also pointed out that Palin overreacted to critics, that her name had been damaged by the VP campaign, that she skipped an important briefing on Swine Flu a month before the first case was reported in Alaska, and that she was too distracted by her fame to do the job of Governor after she returned from the campaign trail.

But the ONLY thing about the article that seems to get her supporters in a rabid frenzy is a mention that her hair may be thinning. The one thing they seem to care about is a charge that cosmetically Palin may be flawed.

They know that all Sarah has going for her is her rapidly fading looks, and they are terrified that she will lose them before she can run for president in 201, which drives them into a blind panic.

Without her cosmetically enhanced "beauty" what does Sarah have going for her? Let's be real, by 2012 little Trig will be a good sized five year old that Sarah won't be able to lift up over her head ala "The Lion King" to attract adoration from the home schooling mommies in the audience. Her skinny little arms would snap off under the weight.

Sarah Palin losing her hair is like Superman's "S" falling off of his chest. She would suddenly just be a middle aged political failure, and who would vote for that?

  2. I've had this thought for a while now as to what will happen to her following as her looks are fading and she loses that "hot librarian" look. The Ann Coulter-nish of her appearance of late just makes me shudder. Unless we are trading running gear for leather and whips what fantasies can old white men possible have that would be inspiring enough to throw money at her political future?

That article opened with a very important scenario most of us knew nothing about -- the secret 'intervention' in March. Why no outrage over exposing that ? Much more damaging than 'thinning hair', which most women can relate to.

2012 - it's 2012 that she has her eye on. for God's sake, let's hope there's not going to be another presidential election in one year!!!!!!

Sarah's is what my granny would have called "just pretty trash." However, Sarah
s sell-by date is fast approaching: her jaw line is sagging, her knees are wrinkling and her ankles are thickening, and that scary thing she does compressing her lips have set some hellacious lines around her mouth. High definition TV and video will show all this, the make-up to compensate, and more (the strangely styled and colored extensions!) Oh, and not to forget MENOPAUSE just around the bend, with all those changes to manage. Her Hotness will be sweating in the HD lights, all that make-up sliding off her jowls as she grimaces and winks.

Remember all the brouhaha over Newsweek magazine's close-up cover photo of Sarah? All that criticism that it was unflattering? I never could find an actual copy on the newstands, or even a clos-up online. Reportedly, it showed lines and, um, lots of hair in decidely un-feminine places. Oops. Wait until mean old Ms. Menopause takes its toll here shortly. I see surgery in Sarah's future.

The secret intervention is much worse than the hair.

This proves how superficial and moronic her fans are. Absolute idiots.

Regarding $arah's thinning hair, I recommend this photo: http://tinyurl.com/lxjb6g
(the first character after .com/ is lower case letter l, not the numeral 1) I'm thinking that harsh chemical treatment as well as stress is responsible for the condition of her hair. Also please note that the darker colored hair extensions are a poor match. Attention outraged Beauty Shop Lady!

A very minor point, Gryphen, because you write so well. It's Queen Esther. Ester is an organic chemical compound. The only things that Biblical Queen Esther has in common with $arah Palin is that they were both in a beauty contest. The King of Persia wanted to replace his evil queen with a beauty who would be the fairest in the land; Esther won. $arah didn't win, and close doesn't count in beauty pageants.

Queen Esther was caught up in palace intrigue, saved the Jewish people and her cousin who was about to be killed. $arah longs for that kind of power, and so far, has done all the wrong things in pursuit of that goal.

  10. If $P is going to talk non-politically-correct, what's going to happen to her when no amount of hair and makeup help can disguise the fact that she's aging? It happens to all of us, until we die.

Yes, fascinating that her minions have a twittering fit tweeting denials that she had an intervention for thinning hair, but no sputtering about the revelation that the GOP had to intervene because she was running her political career so ineptly.

  14. Why aren't Alaskan's more upset about the Medicare problem?
There have been 200 deaths so far and sure to be more while people have to wait for services.
It will also cost the state more if people are kept in hospitals, rehab., etc. waiting for home health services. Where is the outrage?
    Even from the MSM??

  15. Anon, the secret intervention was in the Vanity Fair Article. The RGA basically told Sarah to get her shit together, and she couldn't. She is going nowhere after the 26th, except to the wacked out religious wingnuts who form her "base"

The main theme of this article is how bizarrely disorganized SP and her hapless minions are. I noticed the last sentence was how her latest staff member was unsure of how to re-set the election countdown clock in her office, now that her finals days in office are hardly a week away.

I will be interested in reading the book, due out in 2010, about how McCain's campaign failed so badly. I'm sure we will see more than one or two pages of how working with an untruthful, undisciplined, self-centered personality creates a nightmarish working environment.

As for her hair - well, I hope the reporter got that whole conversation on tape. Both her hair and her children are campaign props, that are losing their value as they become less cute and more unmanageable.

Folks were commenting about Palin's long extensions for several months. Could longer extensions give the look of thinning? I read a "friend" said Palin was losing her hair. And I have commented before that I thought it was a ploy, the damsel in distress syndrome. I read about it around the time Levi gave that interview about Palin's stress. So, was that just before the article about the Federal Government taking over Alaska's Medicare/Medicaid program because of negligence by the Palin administration? Was the hair spin to distract the MSM from seeing the deaths of Alaska's aging and disabled? Or noticing that the State of Alaska is the only state in the union that has failed to provide adequate Medicare/Medicaid services to its citizens? What services did Palin slash from the budget during the time frame? Watching Palin's religious leader on video, I wondered if Palin saw it as getting rid of dead weight!! Or making the Federal Government look bad to Alaskans?? (Hey, is it normal to fake a pregnancy?) Oh, and what about that therapy clinic that closed in Wasilla? What is the scope of Palin's negligence as governor?

  18. Everyone ages, even SP. It's just that it's going to be SO much fun to watch the ugliness that is inside, seep slowly outside and make her whole face melt.

Why no interest in the deaths she has been responsible for since she took office?

I wish that someone would get an article about the deaths and medicare into the mainstream papers. Time to send the adn article to every reporter you know!

It really is pretty ridiculous they are focusing only on the hair. WHO CARES!! LOL

Any news about how can Alaska be back on medicaid?

Sarah doesn't need the program for hair therapy, but restoring the program may help save lives or at least give comfort and a dignified way to die for the most fragile residents of Alaska. How simple it is to die inside of your own home in Alaska?

    Forever.

Jessica beehive got caught with her foot in her mouth, as I said before with friends like that who needs enemy's.
    Editor & publisher news:
"Asked by E&P to respond, Times spokeswoman Diane McNulty sent the following e-mail:

"Kim Severson, the reporter who interviewed Jessica Steele at some length in her salon for the article, received an e-mail from her early on July 13 saying, 'Thank you so much for the article!! It was perfect!'

"In several later conversations, she confirmed that view. Therefore, we believe our reporting is accurate."

What? You guys have nothing better to do than smash Sarah palin? Go get your own hair extensions and leave her alone. She looks good. Do you look that good? Nothing wrong with taking care of yourself. You should try it. She has a right to her opinions. Remember? 1st ammendment? If you want to disagree fine. But don't act so venamis. She's conservative. Your not. Why do try to viillianize her. At least she's got backbone.
