Enough with trying for bipartisanship! The Republican party has absolutely no intention of assisting with this, they are laughing their asses off as the democrats become dumbfounded and run around in all directions. They can't even get their message straight within the party.

We need someone strong enough to knock some heads together, and create a cohesive party that is behind the President. You never saw this kind of crap from the Republican party these past 8 years. Maybe we can get "the Hammer" to leave his gig with Dancing with the Stars and come create some order?

I'm so frustrated with this. Why does Obama insist on trying to be the good guy? What's the point? The republican agenda is basically to simply thwart anything and everything this administration comes up with. Move on! You've got 60 votes in the Senate so focus on appeasing the Blue Dogs and getting your own house in line.

  3. The fact is that compromise has already taken place by throwing out the single payer system for the public option. You throw out the public option too and there isn't anything else left. What's left is hardly health care. And it nothing short of either the public option or single payer will ensure that people don't bankrupt themselves dealing with catastrophic unforseeable illnesses or pre-existing conditions that insurance companies either won't insure or will bankrupt household with obscene premiums.

If they abandon the public option he no only will lose 100 democrats or more, but the Democrats will lose seats in 2010 and 2012. And there goes your majority.

You have a majority now. Use it. Ignore the Republicans. Stifle the oppsition. And time to neuter the blue dogs. They toe the line or they'll have formidable primary opponents backed by the party.
