OMFG!

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion.

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors.

We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, “Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Let’s stop and think and make our voices heard before it’s too late.

- Sarah Palin

I am quite literally without words.

Did she really imply that the health care reform was a possible death sentence for little Trig?

Only a mentally ill sociopath would make a public statement like that. And would she PLEASE ADDRESS THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BY HIS NAME??? President Obama.
These people are making me sick to my stomach. I wish she would GO AWAY. I honestly was hoping she was gone. She makes me sick to my stomach.
Babygate better crack open. I mean COME ON making a statement like this-using her child like his when it isn't even her child??

On the radio Rush Limbaugh is calling Obama a nazi. As a Jewish person whose relatives lived through the Holocaust, this is the most offensive thing they could say about a person. Limbaugh is a MORON. Why don't the Jewish people who are Republicans stand up against Rush Limbaugh? How dare he use this. Only one person David Frum has stood up against Limbaugh (and he has stood up against Palin too). Like Sarah would ever know how to solve any type of serious problem. This is what I can't stand about her. Honestly I don't respect anything out of her mouth. Only idiots do.

    There is no death panel.....

It is amazing what Republican's will say with "truth and conviction" and yet if asked to point to exactly where this is written, they cannot do so.

What does Sarah think happens currently with Medicaid and Medicare? All "insurance" programs whether a government program or for-profit insurance company decide what treatments they will approve and provide. If they don't approve or provide those benefits, then you pay out of pocket or go without.

Most of all, I have yet to hear ExGINO or any other Republican congressional member or pundit describe what they propose to do to keep individuals and hospitals from going bankrupt when insurance is unavailable or inadequate.

Disagreement on what should be done is fine, but then PLEASE provide a solution. Don't just holler NO and provide no answers, help or anything else because you already have your piece of the cake.

Of course she did. Did you expect that she wouldn't use him again? She is playing this up for all it's worth and will only continue to get worse in her delusional fantasies about how Obama is destroying this country. She is no different that Glenn Beck or Rush...willing to say or do whatever it takes, no matter how over the top it sounds to rational thinking people, because it is the same viewpoints those like her share.

She will end up encouraging this viewpoint just like she did on the campaign trail, that Obama isn't looking out for "real America", and he is one to be feared. She'll point out the reasons he can't be trusted. She incited violence and hate during the campaign and she is going to start doing it all over again now.

It will only get worse with her and those like her!

Also, there is NO F WAY she wrote that. She isn't smart 0r articiulate enough. And her quoting Ronald Regain is getting really a gross. Really gross. She must have some old white fat rich Republican men helping her write these things. How dare she call it the Obama death panel? What a NUT CASE. There she goes again, inciting hatred and violence.

Please please Gryphen, do not back down from talking about her, and investigating babygate. For her to use a child the way she is, is disgusting. She is a deplorable person. I was surprised you did not give your opinion at all in the last post. I don't understand it totally but I wish something would bring her down. Not because I "hate her" and definitely not because I think she is "pretty." I actually find her to be a very ugly and viscous person. But because of her anti government viewpoints.

The people she is inciting are walking around with swastikas. Don't they know what they are doing? They are looking like fringe nutcases and losing the support of most of America. And Sarah is the leader of the nuttiest of the nuts.....That statement of hers is absolutely fringe nut. And quoting Michele Bachman? The most psycho person in congress that everyone laughs at?. This is MY country too and I do not agree with her. The country I grew up in cared about its residents, it didn't care more about health insurance companies. Palin is for industry and for the alighmighty dollar. If people don't see that, they are fools. She is an absolute idiot and hypocrite to stand in the way of health care reform. She who has FULL MEDICAL CARE BY THE GOVERNMENT in Alaska?? Her crowds are probably cheering......

Hey Sarah -- what's your solution huh?? You criticize everyone, it is all you do, but what is your proposal for health care reform? Do you have one? NO you don't do you. Why don't you offer something positive to this country instead of your negative ANTI - GOVERNMENT RANTS!

Did you hear that Michael Steele is having all calls to the RNC complaining about the Town Hall/Healtcare frenzy is simply having the calls forwarded to the DNC? The Repubs are not going to be happy until there is real, true violence. Indeed sad times for our country.

  15. I've always believed she was disappointed that no one was killed because of her diatribes during the campaign. Spillin' Blood for Palin would have made a ducky little campaign motto.

She is, quite simply, tearing the GOP to shreds (as are some of the others). When the guns come out, and people start shooting, the health care debate will be over.

Hey what the heck - why even discuss it? Let's leave everything just like it is because who cares that people don't have access. None of these people has a clue - they're just shooting off their mouths because (OMG) Obama is BLACK.

And now in come the nazi references. Sick - this is beyond sick. My daughter's who family is Jewish and this is absolutely DISGUSTING.

We have had health care rationing for literally YEARS. Someone needs to find out how much money the insurance industry is putting into this little campaign they are financing.

Just like Sarah - this is all about THE MONEY.

It's so nice she has Trig as a photo prop - how else would she get her message out?

  16. A death panel? This "article" is one step away from comparing health care with a guy standing on a ramp, selecting who gets the health care and who is going to die in a gas chamber. At least that's what she's trying to imply if I'm not totally mistaken. It looks like the GOP lost it's last bit of dignity.

We have gone down the rabbithole. Those of us with health insurance will still have insurance, Medicare and Medicaid will function. Rationing will continue with $5 an hour CLERKS deciding what is medically appropriate....

But SP and MB will march on - spewing their hatred and venom at the citizens of this country who disagree.

Sarah Palin is RACIST. She hates black people and that is why she calls President Barack Obama by his last name without a title every time she refers to him. She is RACIST & DISRESPECTFUL to our President.

    Sarah Palin is a RACIST

The plan is actually written by CONGRESS, not President Obama, I guess she doesn't know this. And it is NOT nationalized health care. Clearly she hasn't even read it. "Obamas death panel?" - this shows how fringe she is and how ignorant she is-she is full of hatred and passes it along to other racists.

    Sarah Palin HATES OUR GOVERNMENT

Is she against medicare and social security too?

Sarah Palin is a RACIST - look at her behavior around Juneteenth. The FIRST Alaska governor to refuse announcing it as a holiday, and to refuse to acknowledge it or go there.

Sarah Palin is a RACIST and HATES THE GOVERNMENT of the United States of America. This statement can be backed up by all the things she has done and said and by how she treats our elected President.

We should all make it viral. If MSM is too lazy to do the research, we will do it for them. This woman needs to either shut up or be called on for ever vile thing she does.

As a side note, I recall her and her "fans" being outraged when it was claimed Katie Couric addressed her as Mrs. Palin and not Governor Palin. Of course anyone who reviews the tapes knows this is not true. So how do the reconcile that she addresses the President simply as Obama?

Well, Palin administration's failure to protect Alaskan citizens' individual rights to Medicare/Medicaid caused the Federal Government to step in and take over that state-run federal program in June after 227+ aged and/or disabled citizens died from lack of services.

The United States of America is the oldest existing constitutional republic in the world. And with that guarantees each individual's rights. It is not a simple representative democracy, but, rather, a constitutional republic in which majority rule is tempered by minority rights PROTECTED BY LAW. The minority rights, those aged and/or disabled individuals, were trampled on by the neglect of the state under the Palin administration. How is it that Palin can ignore a governor's responsibility to each individual Alaskan, and then attempt to throw mud on the voice of the people who have asked the Federal Government to provide all Americans with an adequate health care system? Of the people, by the people, for the people.

Thanks, Gryphen, for providing this information. Palin's statement proves her egotistic, extreme motives. And she still uses Trig as a prop. I bet she had help with writing that one.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous3:55 PM

The saddest thing is that the same uneducated people who are being so disruptive and unruly about the health care proposal are the ones who will gain the most from it. The rest of us are looking out for them, the poor, the weak, the ignorant, the unable. As it should be.

Ditto re President Obama: the very people who are the most rabidly against him are the ones who will gain the most from his actions. And the rest of us will cheer because we want everyone served in this country. Fairly. Whether you are polite and kind or not.

THAT's why we want babygate or something else to knock SP out of the arena, so we can help President Obama do the right thing, even though some us will have higher taxes (eventually) because of it.

Does Sarah palin mean the "Death panel" like what happened in AK while on her watch as gov....
"Well, Palin administration's failure to protect Alaskan citizens' individual rights to Medicare/Medicaid caused the Federal Government to step in and take over that state-run federal program in June after 227+ aged and/or disabled citizens died from lack of services."
    (Thanks Anon)
Is that what she means??? Ok when is she giving up her free health care for herself and the dud?
I took her statement I wrote email to President Obama... and used it as a example of the Racist, hateful diatribes being spouted by the wingnuts on the right.
And I agree is she trying to hide something?
    Like criminal bribery charges?
Or is she practicing for her next job on Faux news...if so EPIC FAIL!

Let Alaska succeed from the union.. become their own country .. with the Ice Queen at the helm
(this was mentioned a few months ago, obviously)

With all the natural resources .. they would be a sitting duck for the rest of the world.
Everyone would be eyeballing that little tiny, teeny country with all that oil, ect...
Now Texas may last.. they are surrounded .. but Alaska?

Just saying.. that is the crazified mindset Palin has.. she supported that idea
Under "her rule" Alaska would of lasted about 2 months
Zero commonsense.. now spin it with her evilness.. and the Palin bots who love the good lord find her the next Saint Mary? i don't get it.. if they could only explain! .. I don't want to hear about your heart flutters.. give me true genuine facts.. backed up .. or just come out and admit you fell in love with the facade she planted in your minds day one of her entrance to the campaign trail... again I retort.. she doesn't give a hoot about you peoples.. not one acknowledgment..nada.. nil.. zippo .. zero..

    crystalwolf aka caligrl,

Alaska's frail didn't get the benefit of a panel to consider anything. They were neglected the Palin way and just left to die.

She means a panel like she and Todd when her unborn fish picker flew Texas to Alaska. Although, I heard that was actually Sponge Bob Square Pants she thumped on for the video. Her true believers believe in that video was baby Trig in the uterus. They can justify reckless disregard and that she would hope he would die because she is can do no wrong in their eyes.

I think I have figured out how Palin is getting paid. She quits her low-paying government job and puts her name to insurance company rhetoric against health care reform. It's not illegal or unethical for her to get paid now...she's no longer governor. She incites up just enough people to get on the news and make it look as if the bill is wildly unpopular. She is getting paid for this, I am sure of it.

I believe Sarah has lost her soul. She knows President Obama is a good Christian man. She has crossed the line.It is one thing to disagree with policy. It's another thing to spread lies for personal gain.
I will pray for her but she has sold her soul for greed and adoration. She is blatently lying about what is even in the health care proposal.
I fear violence and killing are next and I fear for the President. I don't agree with everything he does but he is trying very hard and is a good man.

@ 6:50 PM, It looks like the Babygate has been black listed but it doesn't hurt to try. The main Babygate bloggers don't want to put the "wild ride" out because they don't believe she was pregnant. I agree she could not have been pregnant. As long as the dilemma is too much it looks like no Babygate unless someone in Alaska comes forward. I would think that Levi does know, but who knows how he'll present things. So far he's not been clear about dates. Did he sign with a publisher for a book? That could be quick or slow. When is his mother's next court date? If that finalizes her pentalty phase, he may open up more. Sarah has plenty of time to do more damage, incite crowds and get their show on the road. I hope no more people are hurt or die. I hold the people who help Sarah cover up the fraud also responsible.

Why doesn't the media hear of the health care scandal and deaths in Alaska? If it was one death that is outrageous. Why are their no families who are telling their stories? Idiots like Wolf Blitzer are still saying she's not done yet. Does he fund raise for SarahPac?

There is a book coming out with more on the McCain campaign. Those are the people who know about Todd being AIP. I hope it blows up in all the McCain's faces because they amped up the hate mongering and lies and he is just as guilty as Sarah in that unholy partnership. 81. Death panel----I'm sensing Karl Rove or Rovian-inspired hate speech.

Let's see, like Death Taxes? To scare all the middle-income people into thinking their huge fortunes( Ha!) were going to the govt instead of their children? When really only the top smidgen of a percentage of the country would be in danger of losing a wee portion of their wealth?

Let's see, like Death Squads? Yes, let's compare the current work on health reform to the death squads of Nazi Germany, thus linking in people's minds the attempt by the Third Reich to eliminate all Jews, Gays, the mentally retarded, Slavs, Italians, Gypsies......and the lines in the camps wherein those that appeared healthy were "allowed" to live/work and those who were weak, along with young children, were sent to their deaths. Let's thereby compare President Obama to Adolf Hitler, not directly, like Mr. Limbaugh has so nastily done, but indirectly, but using the loaded term "death panel".

I'm afraid, dear Sarah, that the current government system that we have is in no way comparable to national socialism a la Hitler IN NO WAY COMPARABLE.....but you, Ma'am, are so deluded and puffed up with your own importance that you cannot see what you, and Ms. Bachman, and Mr. Limbaugh are flaming the people into believing, and getting them so filled with hate that they will convince themselves that any violence that occurs will be "useful to the cause", and welcomed and hailed! And, sick as some of my fellow citizens are, I fear I am probably correct! Ex. Abortion doctor murderers.

I swear I haven't feared for my country's future as much since the FIRST time I heard Ms. Palin incite her crowds by intentionally lying about candidate Barack Obama. Yes, she scares me. You bet she scares me. She scares me because of all the other people without critical thinking skills who follow her, and Bachmann, and Limbaugh, and Rove, and the Bushes before them. We cannot rely on all citizens to use their own brains--this has been proved again and again. We so need a real press--one that will stand for the truth, no matter the consequences, one that will not give up because it's too hard, or too dangerous, or not "fair" to both sides of an issue. Sometimes there is only one right side, and one right conclusion, given the facts. The Righties have claimed their side for righteousness and faith and "Goodness" and I say they need to be called on it, and called on it repeatedly, every time they are lying and misleading and inciting hatred and division.

Gee will this whole comment go through? It's a bit long, but I'm a bit worn down with current "down the rabbit hole" events.

Approx. 200 people were thought to have died in Alaska who were on Medicare when Palin was Gov.
    That is a fact.
George Bush, when Gov., allowed hospitals the right to refuse to treat patients who were futile care. The families had 10-21 days to find a place(nsg. home?) or the care of the patient was terminated.
This was from GW BUSH (REPUBLICAN)who pushed care for Terry Schiavo.
If we like it or not, insurance companies make the decisions all the time, who will live or die by refusing to pay for treatment.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!", said the Wizard of Oz to Dorothy and company as he frantically pulled levers and attempted to maintain the facade of the Great and Powerful Oz. He was a fraud.
Sarah Palin is a dangerous fraud. No one in the MSM is willing or able to induce her to speak live and unscripted. No one ever insists that she give an interview or appear on a talk show to defend or explain her comments. Not even Fox, her ardent propaganda machine. She resists all opportunities to do this, instead coyly hiding behind prepared remarks issued to social networks like Twitter and Facebook, and throwing inflammatory rhetoric onto an already volatile political fire, using remarks that were clearly written by someone else. There have been occasions where Palin was forced out from behind the curtain during the campaign last year, and made to answers questions and she was never able to do so without coming off as incredibly incoherent.
This is my greatest frustration: no one is willing to pull back the curtain that is hiding the truth about Palin and FORCE her to comment live and unscripted, so that she can be revealed as the fraud that she is. She does not allow this because the results are always disastrous, but until this happens, the people of America will never see the real Sarah Palin. She can’t hide forever, but if the MSM does not step up and take this woman to task and make her articulate her opinions live and unscripted, she is going to get away unchallenged with issuing more disgusting rhetoric.

  90. I have heard during our babygate investigations that the birth of Trig was apparently not insured (not covered by health insurance).

Only the follow-up treatments of Trig (precisely: well child follow up) were insured.

That means that Sarah probably had to deal with a huge medical bill.

The average cost of hospital care in Alaska for a premature baby was $75,000 in 2001.

    http://www.legis.state.ak.us/basis/get_documents.asp?session=26&docid=1202

As Trig was born with a hole in his heart, he certainly would have received extensive treatment.

That might be one reason why Sarah urgently needed a lot of money - not these mysterious legal bills which apparently have long been paid.

Remember that her "Alaska Trust Fund" is not limited to paying legal expenses, and she or other family members can withdraw large amounts of money without giving a reason.

I'd like to ask the so-called Christians who support her : When did Jesus lie? When did Jesus willingly incite people to consider committing acts of violence? When did Jesus tell his followers to seek to overthrow a legally established leader or government? What did Jesus say about the poor, the orphans, the widows?
Palin, the Republican Party, and their followers have taken over God's job and are making all that Jesus stood for and died for a mockery. They want to be judge, jury, and executioner of everything. What is most appalling to me is their total disregard for the truth.
Palin should be, but isn't, ashamed. Her celebrity has outweighed those "Christian values" she is so quick to claim. She reminds me of King Joash who did a great job of governing until Johoiada died. Johoiada was a good adviser. After his death Joash turned to other advisers who caused him to make decisions that eventually led to his downfall and death. Palin has surrounded herself with advisers who give her bad advice and have led her to make un-Christian-like decisions. Her actions are the opposite of what she says she is. A Christian wouldn't lie, hate, promote racism, or attempt to create divisiveness in an already fragile climate. It is my opinion that she has sold her soul for celebrity and wealth.

  96. Sorry to once again see so many so blind to reality. Yes, there will be a panel that will decide what type of treatment is available for certain conditions at certain ages. Wake up...this has to be the case. No way will the government be able pay for aggressive cancer treatment, expensive alzheimers treatment, hip replacement, etc. for those over 70. The cost of these conditions are huge. The young workers could never afford the taxes that would be needed for the GOVERNMENT to pay them.

First Medicare will be greatly reduced to help pay for the medical care for all the thousands of illegal immigrants that will need medical care. There is no way regular insurance companies like Blue Cross/Blue Shield will be able to compete with the government and they will have to fold or increase their costs to the users. YOU CAN'T PUT THOUSANDS ON THE HEALTH CARE ROLLS WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT.

Medicare, Medicade is broke now...I say fix it first then lets talk about universal care. We have the best medical care in the world. Thousands come here for treatment every day from all over the world.

I am remembering a case where the government did inject itself into a right-to-die, right-to-live case, if we really want to believe that there is a death panel. Let's all take a minute and remember the tragic story of Terri Schiavo.

She was brain dead for years, Sarah's very definition of not being productive to society. And, keeping her alive must have cost insurers a fortune. Her husband simply wanted to end her suffering; there was no hope that she would ever recover. Then Governor Jeb Bush, Florida, passed special legislation aimed at keeping this woman alive-- talk about government interference. And we all remember the crazy debate when Senator Bill Frist, a doctor, diagnosed Terri by video. Government inserted itself in this case, and the whole thing was an ugly, emotional ordeal for the family, where decisions about Terri should have been private and left to the family. But, the government was no "death panel," they were quite the opposite, prolonging a life that had been taken from that poor woman long before.

I would like to add to majii's comment about so-called Christians. It seems that people have hijacked religion to their own political purpose. Sarah claims that she was "chosen" (by God and/or McCain) to run for VP. Other politicians have used that same "God picked me" thinking, namely, some of the politicians that are or have been aligned with the C Street House in Washington DC. They do not follow Christian beliefs, regularly breaking any of the ten commandments right and left. Rules do not apply to them. Covet thy neighbor's wife, bear false witness - that's for everyone else, they are exempt. And, sadly, they use religious language to justify their misdeeds. If Sanford does not get back together with his wife, it's God's fault, because he has put healing his marriage "in God's hands."

If I remember correctly, George W Bush used this same religious thinking to justify his actions. He never thought out a problem; he left it to God. He felt that he was "chosen." Chosen is probably true, but these lightweight thinkers were chosen by strong manipulative politicians and power brokers to be the front man for their schemes.

Sarah showed the same compassion and Christian caring for her fellow Alaskans last winter as Bush showed toward Katrina victims. Religion has been behind many famous conflicts in history. It is sad to see it misused by politicians to justify their terrible actions. Palin was divisive, inspiring hate in her campaign speeches - exactly the opposite of Jesus. For these people to call themselves Christian breaks the commandment against lying.

  110. Anonymous11:15 AM

    JuJu,

I am sorry you are so misinformed. Everyone KNOWS we are ranked 37th, and as for illegals and their health care needs, in Los Angeles, they have more access to health care than I do as a home-owner.

That was under Bush, of course. See, I pay taxes so I don't get health care. I own a home, so I don't get health care. But bush needed illegals as cheap labor for his corporate buddies, (causing Real Americans to lose their jobs), so he bascially opened the borders and there you go.

I find it hysterical that conservatives are so scared of illegals and blame liberals for their very existence, when it was Bush who really opened the flood gates-- and in the most irresponsible way possible. It wasn't about compassion or care for the conditions in their homeland, it was for cheap labor.

Which drove prices down on other labor.

    you know, free market?

Andthen Americans got stuck paying for the emergency care of many of these folks. At least in LA we did.

You have access to google, so the fact that you choose to be unaware of how America ranks in the world on health care, education, etc -- after 40 years of conservative domination -- is your choice.

I personally have no desire to waste time posting links for you, because you will just come back with a new talking point to dispute reality.

Every single thing you say is an outrageously sad misinformed, backwards take on what the entire world knows to be true. It isn't a partisan take - its the informed versus the misinformed.

While we have some great hosptials here, we are also woefuly behind in medical research because we are producing stupid people who don't value science, and were ruled by people who did not value the future -- thinking as they do that Jesus was going to come back after Palin started the next WWIII.

Believe what you will at your own risk. You aren't hurting anyone but yourself.

  111. I just posted this on Progressive Alaska, regarding babygate:

    (Part 1 of my post)

It's scenario #1. Trig is not Sarah Palin's baby, but Bristol's child.

The only reason that Sarah Palin has gotten away with this deception so far is that no journalist has ever dared to question Sarah Palin on this issue. Nobody has asked the right questions so far, and Andrew Sullivan, who I regard as a "mainstream blogger", has been repeatedly "crucified" for questioning the birth story, although he has done a great job by exposing the fact that Sarah Palin has been unable to provide documentation that could prove that she gave birth to Trig.

    http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/12/a-fourth-pictur.html

The public discussion about the babygate issue had a "bad start". For example: The famous Daily Kos story from September 2008 was deleted by the author himself a few days after it was published - obviously out a fear. This was widely interpreted as a "retraction" on part of Daily Kos, but it was only the author himself who deleted the story. If only he had known that there was no reason to worry.

In addition, many commenters and bloggers at the beginning of September 2008 focused on the infamous "green sweater picture", which apparently showed that Bristol had a "baby bump". Unfortunately, this picture was taken in 2006 and therefore had no relevance for "babygate". This also partially discredited the critics right from the beginning.

Then of course there was the announcement by Sarah Palin herself that her daughter Bristol was five months pregnant. This was presented as "evidence" that Bristol possibly couldn't be the mother of Trig (instead of showing a birth certificate, medical documentation etc.). And this strategy was a great success - the MSM backed off.

And magically, this picture was posted on August 31, 2008 on flickr, showing a highly pregnant Sarah Palin on April 13, 2008….

    http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/8/31/234157/516/1017/581734

….although Sarah Palin did not look pregnant at all until about one week before, see for example:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16uf12lmMcg

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIjVYAhTwtA

…and although Sarah Palin said at the press conference on April 21, 2008 that she “never looked so far along”, therefore the flight attendants on April 17 had no reason for suspecting that she was highly pregnant (from 12:55 in the audio file below).

    http://www.adn.com/626/story/382864.html

Download audio of the press conference (MP3 file):

    http://www.box.net/shared/zbok63zyah

However, the story didn't end there. Fortunately, a lot of people still didn't believe Sarah's pregnancy story, and I myself was a very active member of the palindeception team from the beginning of November 2008 to the end of June 2009. During this time, the team collected a large amount of material and has also received a fair amount of inside information, which clearly points to Bristol Palin being the biological mother of Trig.

It’s apparent that several people in the higher political circles in Juneau and probably Anchorage (Republicans AND Democrats) knew the truth about Bristol's pregnancy or at least heard the rumors.

Some people described Bristol's pregnancy with Trig as an "open secret", some as a "closely guarded secret" within the higher political circles in Alaska. Whatever you would like to call it: Several people in Alaska KNOW THE TRUTH, or at least vital parts of it.

  114. Juju, I can tell that you have never worked in health care. Have you? Or have you ever had a serious illness?. Don't you think there are what you call "health panels" now?? Who do you think runs those? YES INSURANCE COMPANIES. Right now insurance companies deny millions of people coverage and they deny millions of people claims! Do you really think that they are kind to the elderly, to the sick and to the disabled?

Your comments show that you do not understand the current health care system and the problems. As a doctor who worked in health care for 20 years and as a patient who is now disabled, I understand them very well. Insurance companies consistently deny people and when you are very sick and they think (hope) you will die, they deny treatments by calling them experimental.

All of your and your friends comments about the plan from Congress are absolutely ludicrious. And about Medicare and Medicaid, they are not open to illegal immigrants, nor will they ever ben open to them. And part of the reason they are broke is because once a person makes over 90,000 thereabouts, they stop (for that year) paying into the system.

Scaring people by using words like "DEATH PANEL" are not a way to come up with effective solutions. Palin puts out a hostile statement that incites violence and hatred. But she offers not one suggestion for improving our system? This is the problem with the GOP.

Your group might want to really understand the issues involved before spouting out lies. Fox News is not the place to learn about the problems with America's health care. We do not have the best health care in the world anymore. That is a Republican talking point. We are far behind Europe in medical research and many people from America are now going to other countries for surgeries and treatments because they are less expensive.

You are greatly misinformed. Sarah and other people don't really want to solve the health care problem. That is what you don't understand. They want to assure that the health care companies continue to make money so that the CEOs continue to pull in 25 million a year salary. They are in bed with the health care industry. What is so sad is that the 20% of Americans who need help the most (you and your group) are putting a stop to change. You are so stupid (no offense) about the issues, you don't even realize what you are doing...The same thing happened with Obama's proposed tax cuts. They were all to help the people in middle to lower incomes, yet the GOP fought them..why? To protect the rich. I look at the intelligence level of Sarah's supporters and I can just about guarantee that 95% are in the middle to lower income brackets. They continue to screw themselves by putting trust in politicians who could care less about them.

Juju, do you know how to use the internet?

Because we are not stellar at health care. Not by anyone's standards. The facts are not hard to find.

They might be a bit hard to swallow. Pat in Texas

  116. Molly,

Thanks for pointing out the extent of that horror.

As a Jew I ALWAYS remind folks that the Holocaust invlolved more than just my relatives.

The final solution was directed toward the Jews, but lots of other ethnic groups suffered as you mentioned.

10 million total people exterminated just for being born.

For the palin alien to invoke "death panels" in todays context is indicitive of her ignoranace and that of her scary lemming followers.

  117. juju: STFU - ok? This is not the time to come in with your half ass, stupid, MFing lies.

The "illegals" in this country are NOT getting their health care from the Govt. Hospitals are required to render emergency LIFE SAVING care to stabize only. AFter that, they are on their own, and they DIE. Or they receive a 1 way transport back to their own country. This is an extremely difficult thing for most physicians and nurses to do, but it is the way it is. And YES I know this from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE so I don't want or need your BS response that you know more than me. Once again STFU.

Stop spreading your bullshit everywhere. Go back where you are wanted because at this point in time, and in this debate, no one wants your SP crap.

People are fed up with your lies and garbage. Get lost.

lisabeth: juju is an idiot. She has no facts, she exists on talking points. She knows nothing about illness, hospitals, insurance, medicare, medicaid, insurance companies or health care rationing which has been happening for years.

She is simply here at the behest of the Evil Queen spreading filth and lies.

She is an ignoramus who is contributing to the lies that are being spread. She obviously wants people to die because if they listen to HER, it is very likely they will get NO answers to their questions.

juju is quite simply one of "the problems" ... in fact I'd bet that if the Third Reich had at her, she'd be judged as "unsuitable", "expendable" or jut plain mentally ill. And we all know what happened if you were judged by the Nazis to be mentally ill.

ok juju - the judgment is now against YOU. Like that do you? The shoe is now on your foot. Good luck with that.

at least attempt to make your talking points coherent...you sound like such a fool all the time now.

  119. Hi sjk:
My daughter's family is all Jewish - including my beautiful grandkids. They lost much of the family in the Holocaust.

I've often wondered if the Holocaust memories might fade as the survivors finally died - but even when you hoped the horror of that time was gone, it rears it's head in Sarah Palin.

To say that she crossed a line is a massive understatement. To mention the Holocaust and Death Panels evokes an ugliness that this country has not experienced or known in it's own history.

But the horror lives on. That it would be used by a politically inept dimwit to scare American citizens is appalling.

If this continues, there will be bloodshed in this country and Palin will be held responsible by many. This "Christian" is marching her way into hell and it can't happen quickly enough for our country.

She knowingly allowed seniors in Alaska to DIE and her flying monkeys still think she is a saint. Her behavior, her actions indicate she is seriously mentally ill.

This is not over. It will not be over until she shuts that uneducated ignorant mouth of hers. Permanently.

But We here do appreciate your insightful and factual post.
As another poster pointed out just like the stimulus the party of NO is really a Party of Racist's and the fact that our President is Bi-racial, the election as Frank Schfaeffer said on Rachel Maddow last night "broke their minds"

  121. Aha, from Raw Story- let it now begin (and I'll betcha juju is THRILLED about this because it's just more people dying for her idol who doesn't know she even exists - how about that blood on your hands idiot?):

Brian Beutler reported at Talking Points Memo on Friday that a health care protester in New Mexico had been encouraging those following him on Twitter to bring their guns to town hall meetings — and use them if provoked.

“If ACORN/SEIU attends these meetings for disruptive purposes, and you have a license to carry….carry,” Scott Oskay wrote in one tweet. In another, he suggested, “Stop being peaceful, and hurt them. Badly.”

  122. @juju

I have been witness to your simple and irritating rantings for a couple of weeks now. ENOUGH OF THE HORSE SHIT!!!

I happen to be Canadian. I have great healthcare and have had...my entire life. My husband just spent a week in hospital and had to have an angiogram. Cost?? Not a penny. He is to go soon for open heart surgery. Cost??? Nothing. From diagnosis to now is 2 months. I don't think that is so bad...do you? If he had a heart attack, or if he were in worse shape, it would be done immediately. He is in no danger...and can even continue to work until arrangements for surgery are made.

You are getting some pretty strange info from Canadians. While our system is far from perfect, every single person in this country has access to the exact same medical care I get. Its true...don't believe the crap you hear.

There was a Canadian woman who gave some cock and bull storym to the American press. She said she had cancer and the Canadian system was slow and "just left her to die". Funny that. When her story was examined further, it seems she had a non malignant cyst, so yes....she was made to wait in order most likely to look after someone who really did have cancer. Lie about your own damn life juju....but stop talking like you know what happens here. You have no clue what you are talking about. Really...you are making a fool of yourself, so quit while you are ahead.

World Health Organization Assesses the World's Health Systems
World Health Organization Assesses the World's Health Systems

The World Health Organization has carried out the first ever analysis of the world's health systems. Using five performance indicators to measure health systems in 191 member states, it finds that France provides the best overall health care followed among major countries by Italy, Spain, Oman, Austria and Japan.

The findings are published today, 21 June, in The World Health Report 2000 – Health systems: Improving performance*.

*Copies of the Report can be ordered from bookorders@who.ch.

The U.S. health system spends a higher portion of its gross domestic product than any other country but ranks 37 out of 191 countries according to its performance, the report finds. The United Kingdom, which spends just six percent of GDP on health services, ranks 18 th . Several small countries – San Marino, Andorra, Malta and Singapore are rated close behind second- placed Italy.

    Just to repeat:
The U.S. health system spends a higher portion of its gross domestic product than any other country but ranks 37 out of 191 countries according to its performance, the report finds.

Ok are any of you sick of seeing the BS being thrown around by Palin and Co? Just found this from the WH blog:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov

  126. "The Shiavo case was between her husband, who wanted to let her die and her parents who wanted to keep her alive. Why didn't the husband just get a divorce and let her parents take care of her, as they wanted?"

Because when he married her, he promised to care for her in sickness and in health. And when she became brain dead, and she had already told him she didn't want to be a vegetable, he fought her parents for 16 years to let her have the peaceful death she'd said she wanted. Her parents didn't give a rat's ass for her wishes; they wanted a slightly animate body, without any mentality, without anything that made her Terri. And every time her parents dragged him into court to stop him from making the medical decisions that he was legally entitled to make, the courts sided with him. He fought until he won.

If you go to Terri's grave, the stone is engraved with her name, dates of birth, brain death and physical death, and the statement, "I kept my promise."

Terri's parents made money off speaking events after she died. I've often wondered if they ever even visit her grave.
