Because YOU demanded it, here is the 9-12 counter protest group "Billionaires for Wealthcare".

I do not often cave in to demands from my visitors.

Oh I will post a good link if it is brought to my attention but I don't usually succumb to repeated requests for a post. I am just stubborn like that.

But this one kept showing up in my comments section over an over again. And then it turned out to be really good, not to mention it came from the Rachel Maddow show who is my all time favorite cable news host.

So what the hell.

Here by, popular demand, is the Rachel Maddow video showing the "Billionaires for Wealthcare" making schmucks out of the 9-12 teabaggers. Enjoy.

P.S. Since I always believe in giving credit where credit is due clicking the title will take you to Shannyn Moore's blog where this video was originally embedded.

Wow. This video is spot-on! It needs to be circulted far and wide. The best part is, those idiot teabaggers didn't even get it. They thought the "Billionaires for Wealthcare" were in solidarity with them! How telling is that about their (non-existent) capacity for rational thought? lol!

Gryphen, thanks for posting this so others can see it. I grin every time I think of it! It made a difficult day yesterday a little less difficult.

  4. Brilliant...those stupid white people are so thick skulled they don't even realize they are being made fun of...the look on their faces is priceless.

It's like they don't even realize Dick Armey and all those insurance company CEO's are laughing all the way to the bank. Wake up white people, you've been had, and Sarah Palin is your poster child. I'm embarrassed to be white.

Thanks for posting this Gryphen! I knew everyone would enjoy this. I know I sure did. I have been telling all of my friends about it.

    Let's spread the word!

I LOVE these guys, a good parody always gives us energy to keep going with this idiocy.
By the way, It bothers me when I hear people say things like 'stupid white people' . How about just stupid? We can't behave in the same name-calling way that the racist wingnuts are. I hate the way these people are messing with our country and our President. I will fight against them as long as needed. I am white and and I am angry and embarrassed for them, for being racist idiots not for being white.

  7. Anon 8:37...I am white, and I am not angry at them simply for being white, but for being stupid and ignorant. Is there any coincidence that 99.5% of the people at this particular rally were white? Think about it...

You cannot be racist against a group (which I happen to belong to) that has never suffered racial indignity just for the color of their skin.

Virginia Voter, I agree wholeheartedly with your feelings on this. I just have heard some pretty descriptive (both black and white), negative comments recently about people's color, not just their actions. I remember the time I spent as an exchange student to an inner city high school. I was 1 of 2 whites in the entire school. Although I was treated well most of the time, there is a feeling of isolation that is like nothing I can explain. I am so glad I had an experience not many white people have had. You don't have to have slurs hurled at you to be hurt by racism. Silence and avoidance by your peers is devastating. The blacks have endured untold pain at the hands of certain (many) whites. I still have friends from that school and we have grown together over the years. We also share the opinion that to blame a whole race, no matter the circumstance, only perpetuates the problem. One point my friends have made very clear to me; white guilt is not the answer. Action is. We have to fight back at every sign of hate. If we don't respect ourself, personally, how can we treat others with dignity and respect? And yes, I am very ashamed of the whites that are racists and causing such unrest to this country.

  9. Gryphen, I can tell you from one who expericences universal healthcare, Americans are not ready for it yet. Forget it, the teabaggers outnumber your followers 10 to 1.

Well at least that's the way it looks on the streets. No balls. No commitment. No backbone. And especially lacking in a social conscience and care for the wellbring of your fellow citizens. Sorry but it's blantantly obvious to us north of the U.S. border and south of the Alaskan nutcases.

  10. You know what I think is really interesting about that Obama-with-Hitler's-mustache sign?

    Remember the real Hitler's face?

And just look at the sweet, benevolent smile on Obama's face with that silly mustache painted on. I mean, it actually shows how very unlike Hitler he is.
