Max Blumenthal reveals the frightening secrets of Sarah Palin's bizarre religious beliefs.

To those who knew Palin, she was no ordinary hockey mom, but rather an evangelical foot soldier who spearheaded the [conservative Christian] movement’s takeover of local government. Her power base was the Wasilla Assembly of God, a Pentecostal mega-church where she was baptized and spent over 20 years as a member.

Most Pentecostal congregations are socially conservative, particularly those that are predominantly white, but Wasilla Assembly of God was in thrall to a radical Pentecostal trend once denounced by church authorities as heresy. Called the Third Wave, it was rooted in an explicitly anti-intellectual creation myth. According to the Third Wave’s founding father, William Branham, a rural Canadian preacher, Satan had sex with Eve and gave birth to Cain—the so-called “Serpent Seed.” “Through Cain came all the smart, educated people down to the antediluvian flood—the intellectuals, bible colleges,” Branham wrote. “They know all their creeds but know nothing about God.”

Despite opposition from inside the Assembly of God’s hierarchy, Third Wave congregations won droves of adherents by emphasizing charismatic displays of ecstatic release, including practices such as holy laughter (hysterical giggling that supposedly represents the spirit of God flowing through the bodies of believers) and drunkenness in the spirit, where worshippers emulate the experience of intoxication so melodramatically that Charles Bukowski would reel in embarrassment. Faith healing is also central to Third Wave theology; Todd Bentley, an influential Florida-based Third Wave pastor known for his tattoos, body piercings, and pseudo-punk attitude, once attempted to “explode” a man’s tumors by drop-kicking him in the chest. He also kicked an old woman in the face because, he said, “The Holy Spirit spoke to me.” One of Bentley’s mottoes is “Some people snort cocaine, others snort religion.”

I have been hearing about the craziness of Palin's Wasilla church for almost a year now. I know that Max actually managed to attend services there a few times before they became overly suspicious of "outsiders" and was able to see some of this first hand.

Blumenthal's book, "Republican Gomorrah: Inside the Movement that Shattered the Party", is rapidly proving itself to be a must read for anybody wanting to understand the Evangelical fringe movements that seem to be running the GOP right now and Sarah Palin's role in that movement.

The more I learn the more I am dedicated to getting the truth out there for everybody to see.

I met with one of my sources again yesterday and made some real progress toward finalizing a deal that will blow the lid off of Sarah Palin's secrets and the McCain's campaign's culpability in hiding those secrets from the American people.

If you think you have seen it all, believe me you have only seen the tip of the iceberg.

  2. Gryphen...this element must be exposed, unfortunately the MSM will never do it. The MSM has given far too much media coverage to the far right fringe for the better part of two months now with all this death panel nonsense, town hall nuttiness, and pandering. These people are way out of the mainstream.

I am hoping in the end, that our DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED President will once again be one step ahead of this Republican Taliban. Have you seen the comments on Sarah Palin's facebook page? They would be funny if they weren't so frighteningly ignorant. There's a whole lotta crazy...

I knew there was a reason that John McCain has been strangely silent about Palin post-election.

If he were truly a patriot and truly cared about this country (as opposed to his own ego), he would have already apologized for unleashing Palin on the nation. But he hasn't and apparently is complicit in her lies.

During the campaign, I read a lot about MCain's military career, which prior to his being captured and held as a POW, was extremely undistinguished and marked mostly by bad judgment and crashing airplanes. History repeats itself.

Thank God, the American people had the judgment to reject McCain-Palin.

  4. Thanks again, Grypen. You and your fellow bloggers are informing us, the seeking public, of what we could not have otherwise known. It has taken so much of your time and effort and I am so very, very grateful. I hope that the speed with which information can now be disseminated will put an end to the lies and pandering of the extreme groups. Information and education will show the truth. Keep up the wonderful work you and your "buddy bloggers" do. Without your work I hate to think where we would be. I will get two copies of the book, one for me and one for my mom, a diehard republican. Mom and I do have interesting chats, but she listens to the extremes without hearing both sides on all the issues.

I remember Rush L. saying that they would do whatever they could to have this presidency fail, and they sure are trying. You and your friends may be the only hope we have to get the truth out.

Keep on keepin on. My most grateful thoughts to you, yours, and all. Go in Peace.

Virginia Voter - I agree. The people posting on Palin's facebook page are more frightening than the C4P posters! I was just reading comments on newsvine about Van Jones resignation. The majority of posters were rabid....truly frightening. These are the scariest of times.

  6. Glenn Beck also comes from cult like religion, LDS.
I spent some time last night researching the Mormon beliefs. If you have some time, do it yourself.
Mr. Beck has quite the little propaganda show going. He is not honest about his beliefs and knows that the Mormons are suspect with the Evangelical Christian crowd, his followers.
AMong the LDS religion, the black race is considered evil and inferior and cursed.
    Science is considered irrelevant.
Anything theory, fact that does not concur with their religion is considered evil and satanic.
They "know" the truth by their 'feelings'. Anything that does not feel right can be disregarded even facts if they are inconvenient.
He has been so vile about the enviornment and enviornmental causes, well, his god lives on another planet.
it is their mission to convert the whole world.
Sound like the Glenn Beck show? Does to me.
He is using his religion to back his 'facts' that he spews daily.
Really listen to him. Has no facts or supporting evidence, he 'knows' the truth.
He can never support the POTUS because he is already condemned by his own religion.
He always reminded me a foaming at the mouth, crazed religious preacher, short on facts long on venom.

    He needs to be exposed.

McCain is a great admirer of Hagee and his wife; McCain drew a lot of criticism when Hagee endorsed him. That caused McCain to renounce Hagee's endorsement.

I found Bruce Wilson's information about Palin's church. "Palin Scandal in the Living Room" with videos about the seven mountains. Palin's spiritual warfare leader is on the last video.

    http://www.talk2action.org/story/11/5/13585/8320

When Palin walked out on the stage with her family for the first time, I thought, wow, a baby with DS. I couldn't have written a better plot myself. I thought Palin's church was involved with proving a baby with DS to advance her for the win. Of course, that was before seeing photos of her daughter. Oh, and I read somewhere that Bachmann is a member of a seven mountains church, too.

I am anxiously waiting for the information on this. Thanks for all your good work, Gryphen!

dianedp - everything you just described about the LDS beliefs is true of the dominionist Xtian right. Everything! That is why Beck gets away with all that he does. The dominionist tent is huge. There's room for all kinds of sub groups, even ones that hate each other. Yet they carry on, using each other to further their own agenda, not stepping on any toes lest they trip themselves up in the process.

Saw this over at Palingates. Don't know if it adds to the discussion, but here it is for Sunday reading:

Early in Bush's first term as president, Justin Frank wrote a book exploring the psychology behind George W Bush, trying to explain what made him tick. (Bush on the Couch).

In Bush's case, when George was 6, a 3 year old sister died. No one was allowed to show any emotion or grief; Barbara played golf after the little funeral. It was never spoken about, and Frank reasoned that not grieving affected that family for years.

Add some more ingredients: ADDH, so George was not as "smart" as his father. George's college career was marked by frat boy stunts, getting into trouble, drinking too much. By his 40th birthday, the drinking was so out of hand that Laura was supposed to have challenged him, "Me or Jim Beam." He suddenly found religion.

I am leaving out the panic attacks and insecurity that comes from not being as athletic, as smart or accomplishing as much as his father (or other famous relatives), and covering up the panic with bravado and drinking.

Frank reasoned that Bush was a "dry drunk" who had not gone through a 12 step progam. Instead, George found God, who "spoke to him." That way, George was never responsible for anything; there was a higher power directing his life.

I don't know anything about Sarah Palin's early life. That demanding perfectionist father may have created the same kind of panic in Sarah, who may have had (or still has) ADDH and the same kind of panic attacks. Her compensation is the same route, chosen by God and outward confidence to mask inner insecurity.

Whatever the causes, the results are the same. Someone who doesn't realize their limitations, believes what those who use him/her say, and is willing to be the puppet in exchange for the attention and affirmation. They must reach a point where they actually believe it, or they need to keep believing it to prevent panic from taking over.

When we saw Sarah announce her intentions to leave the office of governor, we saw her in full panic mode. We still don't know what caused it, money, investigation, enough material for future blogs from Regina. What we do know is that from time to time she did have panic attacks and canceled speeches, appearances, her job.
What is truly scary is that those same people with a rabid right wing religious/conservative philosophy have replaced George with Sarah. We can only hope that when she is watching the superbowl and chokes on a pretzel there will be a different outcome.

(Sorry to go on so long, the people using Sarah, and to what-purpose are something to be afraid of on a world wide basis).

Blumenthal is really explaining the $P "wacko Christian" movement, and why her followers are so mindlessly stupid: they flaunt their stupidity because intelligence is the sign of the devil? They are too stupid to understand metaphor. I have lost compassion for them as they intend to cause the rest of us great harm. Their stupidity plays right into the hands of corporate interests. Funny how that works out.

I don't even need to read her Facebook page; her followers who post on here are enough evidence for me of "those who shun intelligence."

There are a number of "religious" organizations that fervently hope for a civil unrest and the collapse of secular government to create a power void into which they dream they can slither their way in to unelected power.

During the Civil War in the 1860's Brigham Young had his private militia's at the ready in Utah to "restore order" if the US had become weakened enough. His nemesis, Abraham Lincoln, was able to maintain some degree of order or we would be living under a system that would be largely theocratic with a thin veneer of representation.

I have been a faithful reader for a year. But I have to say, respectfully, that I am really getting tired of waiting. The tease posts that the great exposure of SP is just around the bend are wearing me out! It might be time for me to move on and just trust that karma will take care of SP.

I was incredibly disappointed to read that Levi's sticking to the "SP is Trig's mother" script. I still don't understand AT ALL how THAT was the iceberg.

Gryphen - please, please, please explain how Levi backing up SP's story was an "iceberg." Maybe I am just missing it. But in my head I see SP sitting poolside somewhere grinning from ear to ear ("who cares if he said my marriage is doomed and I call Trig retarded, he backed up my lies!"). It sickens me!

Audrey seems to be locked in a basement somewhere. That blog is dead. This blog is always interesting and informative, but I feel so disheartened every time I get excited SP will FINALLY be exposed....and then it doesn't pan out. Again.

Please give us a time frame or some solid news of some sort.

Otherwise, I truly do wish you all well.

I hope I'm not out of line, but I'm going to issue the Genie challenge.

First, in the interest of full disclosure, I want to make clear that I do not know Gryphen from anywhere but this blog, and Gryphen has never contacted me for any reason other than a thank you email for a donation. Which leads me to my challenge.

I think we need to realize just how much work and time goes into Gryphen's investigations and how selfless he has been through all of this. To my knowledge, he has never asked for financial assistance. But I'm thinking he must not be independently wealthy, or that donation button wouldn't be in the left hand side panel. Since Gryphen has resigned his position in the school he was working in, I imagine he could use a few extra dollars.

So my challenge is this: I just made another donation and I'm asking all of you to join me. If you're tight on money, skip your next few lattes, or movie rentals and give to Gryphen instead.

And who knows - maybe it will help the iceberg to hit a little quicker.

  33. Gryphen, I want to stand up for the LDS people. I am not nor have I ever been LDS. However, I've been a genealogy buff for over thirty years. The LDS church has done a FABULOUS job of collecing, preserving, archiving and making available every public record they could get their hands on ALL OVER THE WORLD. They do it as a tenant of faith as each LDS member needs to research their ancestors in order to offer them the opportunity to be baptized into the LDS church by proxie.
(The ancestor's spirit is free to choose yes or no.)
When I started my research in 1976 I visited the local LDS stake library many many times. I've even visited their wonderful library in Salt Lake City. Never for a second did I think they wanted to get me to join their church. Always, they were friendly, helpful and excellent citizens. I know the Mormons had some diferent beliefs in the past, but today they are model citizens. They sufferd enormous persecution which is what drove them west. Salt Lake City is a beautiful progressive town because of them. My daughter lived among them for three years and never had an unkind word to say.
Let's not lower ourselves to being judgemental.

I have been a ardent follower of this blog. However, there have been so many teasers about the "tip of the iceberg" and nothing is revealed. I have had it with the MSM allowing the cover up to continue with Palin. I have grown weary of Levi with his half confessions of nothing.
I know that what is truly happening in this country is the vile hate projected at our President. The hate is because of only one thing, Obama's skin color. The MSM will not truly report why all the objections from the right is only about race and not his policies. They pussyfoot around the truth about Palin and her grandbabies and give her pass because of her skin color.
Racism is alive and still thrives in the USA. The MSM proves this on daily basis.

Having been raised in a fundamentalist church (I'm better now, thanks), I can tell you that in fundamentalist churches there is a lot of variation. Each church or even each preacher can have whole different interpretations of what they think the Bible means. Some minority Churches of Christ (known as "antis") don't believe in Sunday School classes...I've heard Baptist preachers that don't believe women should wear pants EVER...our church even had one preacher who openly said that battered women should stay with their husbands.
That last one ended up leaving our church when he took a "vote of confidence" and lost, and got the hint and left. Fortunately, some of these wingnuts tend to drive more reasonable worshippers away and and when they lose followers, they lose power. The smarter preachers, like politicians, try to tone down the extreme views in order to appeal to a broader majority of people. (More people equals more money in the offering plate!)
I think between Christian wingnuts and wild-eyed Islamic terrorists, religion is getting a very bad reputation, and thank goodness for that. Maybe the human race will learn to think for itself a little better.

Not all folks belonging to these groups are radicals, racists, nuts, bigots, fanatics or politically power hungry. Far from it. To lump them all together makes one sound exactly like the Right Wingers we criticize. . .as in how many Right Wingers describe Muslims, all Muslims, as fanatics and terrorists.

Please be careful not to be a bigot yourself. Differentiate between the Radicals or Fundamentalists of a religion that wish to encroach on or harm others, don't just paint them all with an undeservedly bad brush. Just sayin. . .

  45. Gryphen -- someone in the valley named Elizabeth Moe who posts under the name moelogger used to write some pretty strange and cryptic comments about the Palin family's involvement in a Trust Fund, for which she claimed to be a beneficiary. She talked about how the Feds have been investigating and the truth would get out, etc. I remember reading about this several months ago (either here, or on one of the other Alaska/Palin blogs), I believe in reference to a discussion about Housegate, but then never saw anything else about it.

Well just found some recent posts from the same moelogger on a forum called Bikers for Christ (no, I'm not one). She still sounds a bit unhinged, and says some pretty weird stuff about Palin - out of context - in posts that are about different topics altogether. For example, she mentions having a neighbor whose house burned down, and then says in another post: "Palin panicked and quit...didn't you see her 'twitter' on TV? Well then one shouldn't burn houses down... especially the wrong one!"

In another post she writes: "I dethroned Palin... got the Catholic Church busted... God is what made these happen... I am just the messenger..."

She makes these bizarre statements but never explains anything, and her posts are very hard to follow. Somewhere out there she says that her parents were friends of Sarah's parents and that they go way back. It sounds like she got screwed by them big time at some point, because she brings up the trust fund money here too.

It sounds like she is either delusional (maybe from whatever Sarah did to her?!) or is cleverly dropping hints in unlikely places. Gryphen, do you know anything about this woman and her claims? Her mention of the fire in Wasilla is what really piqued my curiosity.

Margot wrote about what a wonderful job the LDS has done with genealogy etc.

First, I RESPECT your religion or any religion...until you get in my face or anyone elses and say your religion is superior to mine.

I have a REAL problem with the Mormon's baptizing the dead. They actually baptized people who died in the concentration camps as Mormons regardless of their preferred religion - many Jewish but also other religions.

I am sorry but I can't stick up for the LDS based on this and other things I have read. I do not believe you are all wacko like Glenn Beck. But I do believe many of you are brainwashed slightly and don't see out far out some of your beliefs are. But the truth is ALL religions are a bit out there when you start really studying them, so that is not directed at Mormons only.

So Moms, you sound like a great person and good for you for adopting black children. That must be a challenge sometimes. And Margot, I know you believe what you are saying, but would you want your Jewish ancestors baptized as Mormons years later? That is HIGHLY offensive to me, I am sorry.......

I also believe the Mormon religion to be one of the most sexist religions, but you cannot discuss this with anyone of their faith. I have several Morman friends and simply do not understand because they have been told certain things since birth and they believe them 150% no matter how far fetched they are to outsiders.
    To each his/her own......

  48. Shannyn Moore and I are trying to get Max up to Anchorage on September 26th to do a talk. As soon as I get a couple more details nailed down, we'll start raising funds. He just wants his expenses paid and maybe to be fed some Copper River sockeye.

I'm hoping he'll be an antidote to Jonah Goldberg, who the UAA Student Activities is bringing to UAA on the 15th. They're paying Goldberg over $10,000.

I'm hoping to put up a paypal button at Progressive Alaska to gather money for Max's expenses by Tuesday afternoon.

    Sheya-
about re: If you could have dinner with Sarah

    Oh, gosh.
    I'm at the airport.
First I would be tongue-tied. She'd ask me why I was tongue-tied but I'd just smile and say, "I'm just really happy to see you." Then she'd give me a big hug and lead me to the car after going through baggage claim. She'd ask me to call her Sarah, but I will say I can't because it's my parents rules that I can't call an elder by their first name. She'll settle for Mrs. Sarah instead.
We'd have dinner at her house of course. She'd make moose chili after me telling her I've never had moose before. Piper will want to show off her room. Bristol would be nurseing Tripp but talking with me too. Willow would be kind of shy but soon I'd make her laugh, which will make Todd holler, "What's going on in there?"
We'd have dinner-I'd say blessing. Then afterwards I'd make my grandmother's chocolate pie, which the whole family will devour except Trig, because he played with it more than eat.
Then I would go outside and lay down, looking at the stars. Gov. Palin would lay beside me and we would talk girl stuff. I would have a hotel reservation, but Gov. Palin would insist that I would stay with her.
    I'd accept.

Okay, I just made a donation. It's small, but it will pay for lunch while you're hoofin' around or will let you buy a source a drink or three. Gumshoe reporting is hard work. I appreciate you doing it for us. And BTW, I understand completely why it takes this long to get information and why you sometimes have to report it after, say, VF does. And if for some reason you are a shyster like your detractors say, then, wow, I've been had and am out an amazingly small amount of money. I've paid more expensive parking tickets for far less exciting experiences! Best wishes!

fire was never reported as being a suspected arson.

People need to get off this subject because there is no proof that Dar Miller even knew Sarah or her family and friends.
Trying to connect Dar's death with Sarah is just plain out there in la la land.

Mormons. There are mormons that are social mormons. They buy into all the good mormon stuff and disregard the crazy stuff. Same with fundies, catholics, jews, etc.

But, if you call yourself a mormon, you can't expect everyone else to disregard the crazy stuff. Same with catholics. How do you just disregard child molestation by the priesthood in a religion? Do you just say I'm a good catholic, that doesn't affect me. We'll, I couldn't do that.

Glenn Beck's mormonism is the only thing that will bring him down. If he wants to spout about communism in a doorway, then certainly we can expose him and his Book of Mormon for all its craziness.

Christians won't let mormons into the fold. It tears apart the very fabric of the bible. Too christians, you're a cult, albeit, a very big one. They wouldn't let Mitt Romney in, and that's a fact.

So, when it come to Glenn Beck, you mormons better grow a thicker skin.

In other words, did Levi and Bristol have a baby boy, which they named 'Tripp', who then became 'Trig' when Sarah adopted him? The current Tripp would be their second child.

If this is true, then Levi's statements in VF make sense.

The fundagelicals are dangerous because they co-mingle ignorance and arrogance in fairly equal proportions. They know that they are God's chosen people and can do no wrong. They also gleefully believe that anything they do to someone outside the fold is justified, because they would by definition be followers of Satan.

I just spoke with Elizabeth Moe who was willing to talk to me about Palin. She sounds like a very strong person and says she is not afraid of Palin. She said she had a large trust fund as a child and was adopted by people who were close friends of Palin. Somehow the adoptive parents got her money and she believes Palin got some of it from them. It may be tied up with some oil money she said. She also mentioned Palin had an afair with someone she appointed to work on the PFD and a lot of money was missing, but then got put back. She says the feds are invesitgating and that she actually reported several things Palin did. She does not read the blogs usually as she is very busy. I told her a little about my story and she told me several people I should call or email about it. All people well known to everyone. She is also saying something big is coming. My great-grandfather came over from Denmark to go Utah in 1863. He was assigned to south central Utah. I was born in Utah and raised LDS. There are a lot of super people ( including, most of my in-laws) in the LDS church. I left, (dropped out) when I came to my age of reason, about 14-15 years old.

What has concerned me, greatly, is use of church funds in California to support Prop 8.

"giving an estimated 43 percent — some $8.4 million" This from the LA Times of 10/9/08

"So far, Proposition 8 supporters have poured $19,778,208 to outlaw same-sex marriage, about $1.6 million more than opponents of the measure. Add the two sides together and that's about $38 million. Imagine the good it could be doing elsewhere." LA Times of 10/9/08

"Church elder L. Whitney Clayton, who has been working as a liaison between the LDS leaders and the Proposition 8 campaign, said before the event that it was meant to energize Mormons for the weeks remaining before Election Day.
“It's a political campaign, and time is short and there's a lot to do.”"
    LA Times of 10/9/08

It is the same concern I have about ABT and jerry prevo.

I want separation of Church and State. I want no church or religion to shove their beliefs down my throat.

Glen Beck is LDS and the LDS church has been silent about him.

All that's necessary for the forces of evil to win in the world is for enough good men to do nothing.

REGARDING DAR MILLER DYING IN HOUSE FIRE:

Too many posters on her are starting to sound like the nutcases that are pro-Palin.

Here are the two ADN links posted above and pertinent info in the two articles.

DAR MILLER DID NOT DIE IN A SUSPICIOUS FIRE. SHE WAS SMOKING IN BED. SHE WAS NOT A NEONATAL NURSE--FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS SHE WORKED IN HOSPICE.

Posters here lose credibility when they go off half cocked and don't think things through before posting their "thoughts, opinions, etc."

    Get a grip !

    http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/matsu/story/653001.html
NOTHING IS SAID ABOUT THIS FIRE BEING "SUSPICIOUS" NOR ANY EVEN REMOTE CONNECTION TO PALIN.

It does state: " Miller spent the last eight years as a nurse with Mat-Su Regional Homecare and Hospice, an organization that provides in-home care for terminally ill patients and support for their families." Again, NO connection to Palin IF SHE SPENT THE LAST 8 YR. IN HOSPICE, THEN SHE WAS NOT WORKING NEONATAL AND WOULD HAVE HAD NO CONNECTION TO PALIN AND BABIES !

This fire occurred in January 2009 and is NOT one of the two fires mentioned in the second "link."
    http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/matsu/story/751917.html
"Darlene Miller, 54, a popular hospice nurse, died with her two dogs and a pet bird after being overcome by heat and smoke in her home on West Melanie Avenue, fire officials said. Miller apparently fell asleep with a lit cigarette that started the blaze, Steele said. The fire started in the area of a day bed in a downstairs entry area. There was no indication alcohol was involved, he said."

The baby we now know as Trig, was originally named Tripp, and was born to Bristol and Levi. They helped her to acquire a new baby, now named Tripp, who may or may not be adopted by Bristol, but is under her care. They also did some really bad stuff to cover this whole thing up.... getting warmer? JJ

I'm not so sure anyone was adopted. I think that the whole point of hiding Bristol away during her first pregnancy was so they could put the baby up for adoption, it would be gone, and no one would ever know. The baby turned out to be a DS sweetie which pretty much made him unadoptable - at least in a timely enough fashion to protect Sarah's career. I don't think they knew this until he was born which explains a hastily prepared Plan B - pretend to be pregnant and pass him off as her own. Then her worst nightmare happened. Bristol got pregnant again. Sarah is never going to get away with telling the world she is pregnant AGAIN. She doesn't really want the world to know Bristol is pregnant, so she comes up with a plan to adopt the baby. She was probably going to hide Bristol again. But oh, those nasty rumors started, just as Sarah's dream of becoming the first female President - oops - VP, was about to come true. The solution? Throw Bristol under the bus to save Sarah's career. What's a daughter's embarrassment and damaged reputation compared to Sarah having the opportunity to save the world for God?

    DEATH OF DAR MILLER:

The Palingates link is only speculation by a poster who states the dogs would not have just slept through a fire and that Miller would have woken up coughting.

    Guess what?

People and dogs and kids die from smoke inhalation prior to "waking up" all the time. In fact, it is often the cause of death prior to the bodies being burned.

If people ( and kids and dogs )_ always woke up during fires, they would ONLY be killed while trying to escape and therefore would not be found in their bed, under the bed etc. People die in house fires from smoking in bed all the time and they die from the smoke, not the flames.

    Get a grip.

Anti Palin posters lose credibility with ill thought out scenarios, speculations, ideas, "what if" etc.

Please people, it maks "us" look as idiotic as "them."

I have also read about what happened to you, and as crazy as it may sound to some people, I am from IL and have no trouble picturing a corrupt network of cronies who would conspire to do someone in, like they apparently did to you. I hope you have found some peace in the aftermath of your trauma. As far as vindication, maybe when Palin is finally exposed for what she really is, people in AK will open their eyes to what goes on behind the façade. It would be nice to see some of her partners in crime go down with her.

    Gryphen --

Whoa - baby/name switcheroo? I'm really dizzy now. I guess babies are like hot potatoes that get passed back and forth in that family. All I can say is I hope they are getting the love they need from whoever is pretending to be their parents. At least it does feel like the truth is finally near. I don’t understand the ins and outs of waiting for Levi to (really) spill the beans vs. other people coming forward sooner, as long as there is irrefutable evidence. What I do know is that safety and credibility are paramount here, and I trust your judgment about how best to play it.

I also know you sometimes get grief about the teasers and such, but it’s clear you've had to sit on information for a long time while the MSM continues to be clueless. The fact that you have been so persistent in getting at the truth, and not allowing SP to continue perpetrating her psychotic fraud(s) on all of us, is very much appreciated by more people than you know. I for one am most grateful for all you do, and I'm sure I speak for everyone who comes to these blogs for a reality check.

    HOUSE FIRES:

Carbon monoxide is formed during fires and can kill you within 2 minutes. This is one reason you need a Carbon Monoxide detector as well as Smoke detectors in your home.

THe carbon dioxide detector will go off before the smoke detector ! Otherwise, carbon monoxide, which renders you unconscious if you intentionally were to breath it, kills you. It is a product of the combustion taking place. It is also part of the smoke.

It is the carbon monoxide that prevents you from waking up if there is a fire in your home. It prevents the dog from waking up too. You "go unconscious" -- even tho you were sleeping--so quickly that there is no cough reflex from the smoke.

You die of carbon monoxide poison PRIOR to the fire or the smoke awakening you.

Here is one article where man and dog died of "smoke inhalation" in house fire.

Smoke inhalation has been identified as the probable culprit in the death of a Caldwell County man in a fire at his home Wednesday night.

Freddy W. Cummins, 51, was found dead inside his residence at 1120 Ky. 293 North after Princeton and Farmersville firefighters responded to a fire call there at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis said a passerby apparently spotted smoke coming from the residence and called 911.

When firefighters arrived on the scene minutes later, they found heavy smoke obscuring their view of the home from the highway, Francis said.

Two rooms, a bathroom and a side room, were heavily involved when they arrived. Francis said the fire appears to have started in the bathroom, located in the rear center of the home, then spread through the ceiling into the attic and through a wall into the adjoining side room.

County Coroner Eddie Pennington pronounced Cummins dead at the scene. His dog also perished in the blaze, fire officials said.

An autopsy was performed Thursday at the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office. Trooper Stu Recke, public affairs officer for KSP Post 2, said preliminary results point to smoke inhalation as the cause of death and no signs of foul play.

    House Fires:

Please do NOT assume I think Palin is not capable of burning and killing.

I have many posts here and on other sites stating I feel Palin is involved in her church fire and that she will draw blood before all is said and done.

But to make statements with absolutely nothing to support them except beliving ( and I do ) that Palin is capable of violence and to connect it to any given event where there is really nothing to connect her, i.e. Dar Miller was NOT a neonatal nurse for the last 8 years and even if she had been, that is not enough to connect her to Palin's kids or anyone else's specific child--is stretching things to the extent that it is really nothing more than wild guessing.

Connecting dots is fine and with heart felt objectivity, assumptions and speculations can be accurate, but to see "ghosts" where there are other rational reasonable explations is just wong. It is entirely possible Palin murdered Miller by setting her house on fire but there are NO connections and to invent them is irresponsible.

    HOUSE FIRES:

    http://www.southbostononline.com/articles/news/2006/10-26-06Changebatteries.cfm

    Change Your Batteries
Boston Fire Commissioner Roderick J. Fraser, Jr. urges all to change your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries when you change your clocks.
On Saturday evening, October 29, 2006, Boston Fire Commissioner Roderick J. Fraser, Jr. urges all residents of the City of Boston to perform a simple task that can save lives. When you change your clock, change the batteries in your home smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. At the same time, make sure that they are in good working order.
Almost six thousand lives are lost every year due to residential fires. Most of these deaths are from smoke inhalation. Of these deaths, three-fifth occurs in homes without working smoke detectors. Because the majority of fatal fires occur at night when people are asleep, working smoke detectors can mean the difference between life and death. Smoke detectors sound an early warning if there is a fire, waking people before they are overcome by smoke and giving them time to escape.
THE CARBON MONOXIDE IN THE SMOKE, THE CARBON MONOXIDE RELEASED BY THE COMBUSTION, AND THE LACK OF OXYGEN ( COMBUSTION USES UP THE OXYGEN YOU WOULD NORMALLY BE BREATHING) ALL COMBINE TO KILL YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP THROUGH A FIRE.
KILLS YOUR DOG THE SAME WAY.
Note: the articles states "...waking people before they are overcome by the smoke..." i.e. you can be overcome by smoke while sleeping if your alarms don't go off.

    LAST POST ON HOUSE FIRES:
And how can we forget our enemy Cyanide?

Along with the carbon monoxide, cyanide too renders you unconscious while sleeping so you--and your dog--do not wake up by coughing.

Cyanide is especially prevelant when plastics are burning.

DO NOT RELY ON FAMILY DOG TO WAKE YOU INSTEAD OF SMOKE, CO ALARMS ! ! !

Being (most likely) smaller in body size, it will take less co and /or cyanide to render your pup unconscious and thus unable to wake you.

    Tidbits from research:

Hydrogen cyanide is contained in vehicle exhaust and in tobacco smoke. The smoke of burning plastics contains hydrogen cyanide, and house fires often result in cyanide poisonings.

It is possible that many victims from house fires who are unconscious or in cardiac arrest may have been exposed to cyanide.

    Why is cyanide so deadly?
Cyanide is a toxin that prevents the body from using oxygen.

Inside of the cells of our body are the mitochondria, ...Cyanide binds to an enzyme in the mitochondria to prevent the use of oxygen.

Let's follow anon 5:23, since Gryphen says that is the closest to the truth. Levi's statement about Sarah telling them that she wanted to adopt their child does not make any sense at all for the younger boy. If I remember, Sarah offered to adopt the baby and pretend that it was hers. She could not hope to run for VP and "deliver" a baby at the end of the year (or early 2009) and be under intense national media scrutiny. How could a "pregant" woman run for VP? Sorry gals, but we have a hard enough time proving that we can be both mother and have a career. Can you imagine the first woman to come close to cracking the glass ceiling is going to run for national office while preganant? I think our chances are better with some one whose family is already settled.

Let's try a different scenario. Sarah has her eye on the VP spot. Bristol's pregnancy is problematic, what with family values and all. We can add to the mix a theory that some have batted around, an amnio to determine who's the daddy. And, the amnio also revealed DS, so the child is not very adoptable, not even through Sarah's church. Then, Sarah's statement does make sense. "You kids can't raise that kid, Todd & I will do a better job. And, we can afford it, too." And, secretly, Sarah thinks that this will play well with the special needs crowd, right to lifers, family values, what a noble mother. That would be all right. She could campaign for VP holding a baby, but not expecting a baby.

The last part of the story is easy. It is very unlikely that a teenaged kid who wrote on face book that he didn't want kids would get caught up in the joy of his girl friend's mother's baby. That being around a special needs baby got him interested in kids' sports for special needs kids. Right.

At the same time, Bristol and Levi (thinking that you can't get pregant so soon after having a baby or while nursing) were not careful. (Maybe Bristol couldn't stand the idea of Sarah dragging that baby around, taking credit for the wild airplane ride, and Bristol wanted another. Who knows?) This time it was the hardest thing to tell Sarah, harder than labor, a friend had to be there and blurt it out. And Sarah was so furious at Bristol, that she threw Bristol right under the campaign bus.

I hope that Bristol is happy raising her kids. That's quite a job if she is handling it alone. And one of them does need therapy and some very special attention. What a heavy load for such a young gal. Good luck to her.

  86. Onejrkitty, thanks for the fire safety tips. However, I am merely saying that you need to read all four of those articles and note the discrepancies. Maybe you only have a kitty instead of a dog. I know dogs, and there is something wrong about the death of the dogs. If Dar Miller was on the daybed in the foyer, but she was still breathing and had a strong heartbeat, why were the dogs dead on the floor near her where they would have been below the smoke for a longer period of time?

Another thing that bothers me: Why was it such a big secret that Track was home for Christmas 2008 and when did he leave Wasilla to return to Iraq?

    http://www.esquire.com/features/todd-palin-bio-0509-6#ixzz0NdmgrPqD
This was in the 4-13-09 Esquire article “Todd Palin Is the Man for America Now” (oh puke!) on page 5:

“But some important events never made the news at all. Sarah taking Piper to the police station to be interviewed on Christmas Eve, for example, and Wooten's minivan assault complaint being thrown out. And nobody reported how Track made it home from Iraq on a surprise holiday leave that Todd had managed to keep secret from everybody else in the family, and the family managed to keep secret from everybody else.”

I am just asking questions that perhaps others should be asking.

Wow, Gryphen. I know Sarah and know a ton of people who know her better than I do. It's VERY hard to believe she faked a pregnancy. I know she didn't look preggers - but her face and form did enlarge significantly during the third trimester. I get how she could have worn a "fake" stomach - but how does one get a double chin and a totally full face/neck like she did?

Also - if the "Trig is really Bristol's baby" theory is correct - how many people would have had to be in on keeping the secret? Would CBJ? Because I also know her personally and I simply WOULD NEVER BELIEVE Cathy would lie and cover for Sarah.

And then the hospital staff that would have been required to also assist in the cover up. It's all way beyond sane. So, so beyond it.

Clearly the tale of Sarah flying back from Texas to deliver her child is wacky on too many fronts to even begin to name. And then her refusal to release his birth certificate is, again, lacking logic.

I don't know if she's trying to cover something up - or if this is just a grand case of Sarah letting a ridiculous story stay alive because it keeps attention aimed towards her. Who can say?

I just want to make sure if you move ahead with something - that you're positive it's true. No offense - but no more "breaking stories" like the one where a couple pics of Bristol were posted from Feb with the slightest bump ever.

You can't do that again. I certainly hope this isn't the same source you're working with. You've done so much work and so much of it has been good reporting. Your name and reputation matter. Don't do anything to impair it.

--Also, the letter posted at 3:03 absolutely made me --...I don't even have the words.

Spare us, please. It's cult-like, this goof-ball-ish fascination and adoration with Sarah. These people need good therapists.

The Richters came up early in the campaign when it was revealed that Sarah had hired Debbie to head up the PDF, despite having a close business relationship with her and husband Scott, as co-investors in some land deals (not to mention that she was totally unqualified for the job). Around the same time, it also came out that Sarah had fired her legislative director (old friend from HS) when Todd found out from Scott Richter that Debbie was having an affair with the guy. A regular Peyton Place that must have been! The Wall Street Journal had an article about it saying that he was supposedly fired for poor job performance even though Palin had publicly praised his performance just a few weeks earlier. (Déjà vu, anyone?)

The Richters subsequently separated, and it was rumored that Scott and Sarah might have had an affair when he filed to have his divorce proceedings sealed. (I’m pretty sure they were the couple that owned a cabin at the lake near the Palins.) Meanwhile, the tabloids were reporting about an old affair with some guy named Brad Hanson who had been Todd’s business partner in a snow machine dealership, which was dissolved afterwards. How she ever kept all the sordid details of her life straight is beyond me.

    Anon 6:27 (JJ)--
My reaction to a scenario where Bristol was never pregnant a second time is this: Wouldn’t a fake miscarriage be the simple and logical conclusion to a fake pregnancy? Why would they need to get or adopt a second baby for her? That seems even more bizarre to me. Then again, it would probably make perfect sense to Sarah. After all, she already had the fake padding thing. Why not put it to good use a second time? We know Sarah is nothing if not practical.

Dinap. Where did you get your info on LDS? Not from LDS.org, that's for darn sure. I AM LDS, as is Harry Ried, the Udall brothers, Scott Mattheson, Orrin Hatch...etc. Your info came from anti mormon sites. Try researching the real stuff. Unlike in Palin's "church", the LDS church stays out of politics. It is a rare occassion that they even will take a side - but never, never the side of one candidate over another. This was about Palins nutcase church. Facts were presented to support the aruguments regarding her church. You just hit and ran. I am the mother of 3 black children. I happen to know LDS history, and the Utah terrority (as it was not yet a state) was being threatned. name me one religion in the United States where a sitting gov put out a degree saying it was legal to hunt and kill Mormons? (Gov Boggs), or a president who would not protect citizens of this country from religious perscution? Get your facts right, or don't print them at all. We LDS are not perfect, but we do try hard to make a good place in the world. We have active LDS on all sides of the political spectrum. Heck, we've even had members of the first presidency who were active in the democrate and republican parties. But when it comes to religion, that's where our comon ground lies. I don't agree with Harry Ried on very much. But would I sit next to him in Sacrament meeting? Or attend a Sunday School class he might be teaching? you betcha.

  93. To Anonymous at 11:44, I wholeheartedly believe that Sarah Palin would LOVE to run for POTUS. She'd love to RUN, not serve. She's a born campaigner because she loves the attention. The running is fun (or she thinks it would be). She doesn't realize that the experience of running for 18 months for President would be a little different from running for vice for 2 months. But whatever, she thoroughly enjoyed the adoring crowds, getting her hair and makeup done, etc.

My one hope about McCain is that he's "holding his powder" on Palin and any regrets he has about having picked her just as long as she is never anywhere close to national elected office. Otherwise, he really is a disgrace.

Wait -- was Sarah going to adopt Tripp and try to pass him off as Trig? Somehow get rid of that troublesome "retarded" baby and substitute Tripp in his stead? And think that no one would notice the difference? In nutty Palin land, such a plan might seem workable.

And by "get rid of," I simply mean find a new home, adopt him out, give him to the sister with a million kids. Not anything more sinister.

This is strange. I googled Elizabeth Moe and found a comment that she wrote a year ago- in SUPPORT of SarahPalin.
"In Alaska trying to survive a urban war.. not getting as much done as I would like to..they are really attacking Sarah...know the girl..our parents are best friends and I have jumped on a beer box to stomp some butts when they get "nasty" language at her going.. just trying to protect her and some don't like that.. over"
So, how could Elizabeth support her if had a long-standing grudge against her and her family for the theft of her trust fund money?? I just don't get it.... I don't think she can be considered a credible source unless she can explain herself.

I would like to speak from experience here having had a baby in intensive care for a long time: having T1 (whoever, whenever and however) early, with a hole in his heart and jaundice does NOT necessarily mean he spent months in a NICU. Some holes close overnight. Not all require surgery. Jaundice can be treated at home sometimes. NICU's plan for discharge upon admission. So, just sayin' that the thinking is too black and white on this. There are home visiting nurses. What pediatrician is going to violate privacy and reveal what is going on with this one adopting that one? One family doctor to deliver and care for the baby, maybe one visiting nurse and a family. THAT is easy enough to keep quiet. THis story does NOT require dozens of hospital staff members covering up over months and months.

Also too: pasta and ice cream can make a face, neck and upper arm are a fatter. Not to mention thighs and belly. Actors bulk up for movie roles. I'd be bulking up too if I were passing this off!

Also too too: covering up and adopting T2 is weird enough: where exactly where they going to hide the teenage daughter during the campaign and possibly a successful election? "She's studying in Antartica and oh look! We are adopting a newborn on top of having had a DS baby last spring!" Too weird. What was it Levi said in VF: I was there at 6am etc etc. Was Bristol there too? Was he just there at 6am (for the handoff) or did Sarah HAVE him at 6am? Very careful phrasing if you ask me. Either that or paging Mrs. Robinson.

The hardest thing about people like Palin is that their truth is stranger than fiction.

Any fiction writer will tell you that their editor would balk at such nonsense; A fake pregnancy and a fire? Come on!

While at first such a hypothesis appears crazy, with someone like Palin who has already proven herself a liar and a person capable of great deception, the strange becomes the normal.

It's hard for normal people to imagine that she could go to such lengths. That's why she keeps getting away with it. Just as she projects her cruel vindictiveness onto others, we project our boundaries of acceptable behavior onto her, without even knowing it.

We are two different species. The recent revelations about the politics of resentment and paranoia that she represents should clarify that for us all. She is mentally ill, as are her followers. They want to destroy this country because they think they're fighting a holy war.

When a person thinks they're God, and they know God's will, there's nothing wrong with setting fires or trading babies to further the agenda.

And as we all know, believing you know God's will is a common defense of serial killers and the severely mentally ill. It is, in fact, a symptom of mental illness.

Tread carefully, those of you who live around Palin. For those who comment here that she is out of power, you are not registering the power structure in AK. Parnell is a puppet for Palin, and Palin has appointed people throughout the state to look after her and her agenda. She can still hurt people with one phone call, so let's go easy on the Alaskans.

  106. I completely agree with Anon @12:24, most of us can't possibly imagine the lies a select few out there will tell. I have a father who is a pathological liar. He has even lied to me that he wrote a famous country song. He said he sold it and it was picked up by so-and-so (famous country singer) and became a hit. But he had sold it without any rights to make anything more if the song made money. I believed him simply because I couldn't imagine anyone telling such a crazy lie. But, I made a fool out of myself not long after when I repeated this story to someone who knew better. Turns out, the song in question had been covered by more than one country musician, and was actually written before my dad was even born!
So, don't discount the crazy lies people will tell.

Where and when was he born, and who are the parents? Did they allow him to be adopted or just raised by someone else?
Or let's try it a different way. Bristol is currently raising two little boys, Trig (the older boy with DS) and a younger boy with the name Tripp. Are they brothers, half-brothers, uncle and nephew, any relation at all?

You were remarking in response to Levi's interview. When he said that Sarah wanted to adopt a baby that Bristol was expecting, exactly which baby and when did she make that offer?

For that matter, has Levi ever requested a DNA paternity test to see whether or not he is the father of any of the babies in question?

"Maybe you only have a kitty instead of a dog. I know dogs, and there is something wrong about the death of the dogs. If Dar Miller was on the daybed in the foyer, but she was still breathing and had a strong heartbeat, why were the dogs dead on the floor near her where they would have been below the smoke for a longer period of time? ..."
NOPE I HAVE HAD DOGS ALL MY LIFE AND CATS, BOTH LARGE AND SMALL>

Yes, the dogs would have been lower on the floor BUT CARBON MONOXIDE IS HEAVIER THAN AIR AND SINKS DOWN, plus the dogs being smaller ( my dobie is 85 lbs but still smaller than me ) would succumb faster. I don't know if cyanide is heavier than air but the CO would be enough to put dogs totally unconscious ( while they slept) and make Dar either unconscious or at minimum totally incapacitated. That is why CO is so deadly.

We don't have room to post everything but I have researched all ADN articles on Dar and while the other fires may be suspicious, I can find NOTHING to support Dar's death being suspicious. Besides there is NO link between her and Palin ! ! Just because she was a nurse does not mean she had ANY contact nor knowledge re: Palin, and/or Palin baby etc.

I would be the first one to agree Palin is capable of arson and murder, but I cannot in good conscious find anything to tie her to Dar nor find anything about Dar's death suspicious.

The fact that the dogs dies and did not wake up is not at all suspicous to me and in fact, fits exactly with the "physics" of house fires. There are many sites by attorneys giving statistics about house fires, smoke inhalation and or CO deaths. MANY OTHER TOXIC GASES ARE RELEASED DURING "COMBUSTION" so there are other substances working to kill people in their sleep prior to waking up to a fire.

OT: saw a PBS nature film about animals being found dead in this one area of (I think) Africa. Strange as bodies untouched by predators. Turns out some noxious gases were escaping from some underground system and Carbon Monoxide was one of them. THe bodies were in shallow depressions and the escaping CO hugged the ground so any predators just dies prior to being able to devour the easy food source.

Sorry, but there is NO reason the dogs should have warned her and LOTS of science why they would die in their own sleep.

Don't worry. I truly believe Palin will spill blood before all this is over and I really think she had something to do with the church fire. She needed attention toooo desparately after losing the VP and being racist, to lose to a black man was just too much for her. Losing to black woman in beauty contest humilated her as well and to have a black person win over her a second time, as well as the national humilation for this narcissist, was, I believe enough to cause her to do something as drastic as teh church fire, which, by the way, is still being investigated.

WHY THE DOGS DIES FIRST IN HOUSE FIRE:

TURNS OUT THAT CYANIDE, AS WELL AS CARBON MONOXIDE, IS ALSO HEAVIER THAN AIR. So, yes, this is just another reason the dogs would have died even tho they were lower on the floor and below the smoke.

Remember, while smoke contains both CO and Cyanide, they are both released as by products of combustion and are going to sink to the ground faster than the other toxic products in the smoke. Depending on what is being burned, there are all kinds of toxic gases released and I am sure others as well also are heavier than air.

These gases are why air carrirers have to have approved materials on the interior of aircraft i.e. wall coverings, plastic overhead doors, seat materials. People were dying of the toxic fumes from aviation fires prior to the plane crashing !

    • DESCRIPTION: Cyanogen chloride (CK) is a highly volatile and toxic chemical asphyxiant that interferes with the body's ability to use oxygen. Exposure to cyanogen chloride (CK) can be rapidly fatal.

    • It has whole-body (systemic) effects, particularly affecting those organ systems most sensitive to low oxygen levels: the central nervous system (brain), the cardiovascular system (heart and blood vessels), and the pulmonary system (lungs).
NOTE THAT IS INTEREFERES WITH ABILITY TO USE OXYGEN AND CAN BE RAPIDLY FATAL.

Levi's story, as told to VF, was to further murky the waters of the Palin saga!

As I told Gryphen back in January or February, if a mother can fake a pregnancy, why can't a daughter? It is so absurd, it's ridiculous to even think anyone would believe it. Heck, my family, friends etc., won't even believe Sarah faked a pregnancy! They think I'm "nuts."

Well, I purchased the KTUU tape of Bristol going into the church/school on Dec. 15, 2008. The company that sells the tapes of their programs was kind enough to blow up the part where Bristol and her family were walking into the church.

The tape was altered because it did not show Bristol turning her head when she saw the camera. In the small TV version on the internet, you can see her turning her head and then rushing into the church/school. She is practically running.

The tape I purchased does not show this and they altered the tape to slow down her gait. She was behind everyone...and then, all of sudden, she is ahead of them. This was the only time I thought she was photographed, while supposedly pregnant, that wasn't staged. That was until the MTV vido that came out recently.

My computer is connected to a 45" high-tech TV screen. You can see her with her hands in her pockets, pushing out her jacket, in the "ICE and SNOW"...practically running. Now, she is supposedly eight-and-a-half months pregnant.

IMHO, there is no way someone this far along could walk/run om ICE and SNOW! Not even at seven months. Not a waddle...no one aiding her or taking her arm...going straight as an arrow into the church!

I'd share the tape or send it to someone except there is a disclaimer on it.

Like everyone else, I'm just waiting for the truth to come out.

  113. Anonymous7:29 PM

Ginger, I thought that the MTV tape was from October 2007, when Bristol and Sarah went to NY. (Shows a pretty chunky Bristol). The reason that we learned about the trip was that Sarah authorized their expenses at a luxury $700/night hotel for several days, and after an ethics complaint, had to pay back some of the money.

If Bristol "faked" her pregnancy of the boy that we now call Tripp, who is the kid that she is pushing around in the double stroller with the DS baby? What young girl, who hadn't finished high school (at that time) would want to burden herself with such a big responsibility?

I agree that Bristol may not look all that pregnant in the blurry tape that I saw, but the PD people are guessing that Tripp might have been born later than stated, more like Jan.or early Feb.2009 instead of Dec.2008.

As for a mother covering for a daughter who had a child out of wedlock, the singer James Darin was raised by a woman whom he thought was his mother. His older sister was actually his mother and he didn't learn this until he was an adult. What we don't know is Mrs. Darin's story-- did she pretend to be pregnant, or tell people she was adopting because she always wanted a boy? As for the older sister, in those days, she would have been hustled out of town to stay with relatives, maybe she got "mono" for a few months, maybe she carried small and wore oversized clothes. There are (were) facilities that took in girls in that situation, got them light housekeeping jobs to earn money, helped them have a safe delivery and legal adoption. There are many stories like that which sound more soap opera than real life, but do happen.

"Some minority Churches of Christ (known as "antis") don't believe in Sunday School classes..."

Not that anyone's likely to care, but for the record this is incorrect.

There was a division among churches of Christ in the 1950s and 1960s over various issues commonly called "institutionalism." Basically, a lot of loosely affiliated colleges wanted money directly from churches, and this had not been the common practice up to that time. Those who objected were labelled "antis" and ejected from the "mainstream" churches.

The one class churches voluntarily divided from the others back in the 1920s and 1930s. The descendants of these churches are non-institutional, but that was because all churches by the time of their separation were NI.

Just saw your response to my post!

Interesting you should bring up Bobby Darin (not James). I saw him in Las Vegas about a year before he died..."what a talent!"

There are many stories of celebrities born to older sisters, I'm sure. I've never looked into any of them but they pop-up once-in-a-while.

You ask, "where did Tripp come from?" I'd sure like to know. Since I don't believe Bristol had a second pregnancy, it's anyones guess. Sarah's church? An extended family member's baby? Was he adopted? Who knows?

Bristol's "on purpose" sightings with the two babies and the "double stroller," are sure-fire evidence of the two "babies." Everyone I know thinks Sarah gave birth to Trig and since Bristol was five months P.G. at the RNC, she had Tripp.

Not seeing Tripp until mid-Feb. on the GVS show, was all a ploy to distract everyone. If you read the blogs, they were saying Trig was "premature" to allow for the Dec. 27th birth of Tripp. There are so many theories on this, it can make your head hurt. I think the trolls have a lot to do with it. Just like Levi's story in VF.

Every day I look for some clue to prove otherwise. So far, I have found nothing!
