First we have Part One.
Sarah Palin filed her final POFD (Public Officer Financial Disclosure) on time according to APOC (Alaska Public Offices Commission) rules.
However, Palin has proven herself to be selective as to which rules she chooses to follow and how completely she follows them.
For example, we've seen nothing "disclosed" nor have we heard anything about Palin's AK Fund Trust (for which her website is still collecting money) since the summer revelation that Investigator Daniel found Palin cannot spend the Fund Trust without probably violating a pesky Statute or two. While the Personnel Board is a separate issue from APOC, it is still important to note that the Board IS NOT following the Executive Branch Ethics Act. How do we know?

One of the questions that I keep getting asked is "How come the other Alaska bloggers are not pursuing babygate?" Or "Why don't YOU talk more about the still pending ethics charges against Palin?"
My answer is that each of the Alaska bloggers have their own speciality. Each of us have strengths and weaknesses, when it comes to addressing certain issues. I may be covering one aspect of Sarah's lies or Alaska issues, while Phil Munger, or AKM, or Shannyn Moore are covering others. That is why the blogrolls are so important.
Linda (Celtic Diva) is amazing when it comes to sorting through complex legal forms. She has worked for the federal government and knows how to see through the legal gobbledygook to find the important information contained within. And she has done an amazing job in these two posts.
If you are fascinated with the sheer depth of Palin's obfuscation then you definitely need to head on over to the Blue Oasis and see what Linda has uncovered. It is jaw dropping.

ReplyDeleteYes, there are way too many Gates for one blogger to do it all! It takes an army to uncover her lies and deceptions. I find that I check out each blogger's "specialty" each day. I can't imagine the hard work and effort it takes to do all you do. Thanks so much Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that the "liberal" bloggers, and Republicans in the know - THE "Adults" can uncover and stop Palin's Deceptions. Levi's testimony can back everything up. But, he is an innocent 19 year old young man who was thrown into this swamp, and shouldn't be the one to have to spill the beans. I appreciate Celtic Diva's hard work.

I think the Davis connection -- major contruction company -- lucrative state contracts is only the beginning of another iceberg. They own property together plus there might be a tie-in to the Lake Lucille housegate issue as well.

ReplyDeleteI'm afraid this Board may just look the other way.Even when the evidence is THIS obvious. They have in the past. A 'group of people'( the more the merrier ) are going to have to sign their name to a legal paper and get some justice.Andree and the Alaskan Citizens. Why not go after the people on this Board? If they let it pass they with Sarah might as well be co-conspirators in this illegal action. Force them to do their Job and the right thing for the citizens of AK.In one of your followup stories give us the names and email addresses of these people so we can create an outcry. THEY need to know that people are watching THEM.They can't sweep this under the rug.Do like Jon Stewart would do. Mock and humiliate them to make them do the right thing.
This Board needs to stand up to Sarah and say " You LIED!" They won't without Public outcry. Tell us who to call?
And are ALL the other IronDog Teams happy that they have to pay ' personally ' out of their own pockets and Todd gets this free pass and won't be honest.Do you know any other Teams Gryphen who would go on the record with you? I would think there would be some disgruntled Racers who are angry and would speak out. What if 5 or 6 fellow Racers would testify to this board about the fact that the figures that Sarah gave are completely false.THEY would know.
And do you think Fleabag didn't fill out this form because the Lies were so obvious and there was no documentation to back it up.I don't think Fleabag is in any way a ' moral person' but maybe as a Lawyer even He couldn't lie and put his name on this paper. I mean... it is his Job to fill these things out for Scarah.
And what about that big check she took from "Runner's World Magazine?" What about the PDF checks that are not listed? Who claimed Trig....Sarah and Todd or Bristol? S.H.

The one $arahsite (describing $P as "smart" and "quite feminine") gets slapped down in short order. So everyone, let's show Jeanne and Linda some love and leave comments, too--HuffPo seems uninterested in moderating reader remarks on boring ol' financial disclosure papers yawn yawn. Hee hee hee... Not!

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to that other corporation she had named Cou Roug or something like that? It was listed on her prior disclosures. Why did she report Track's income on 2008 disclosure and not Bristol's income in 2009? She doesn't want any one to know how much Bristol got paid for the Greta interview, People magazine photos of Tripp and the Candies deal. It sure might affect what Levi will be forced to pay in child support for Tripp if it shows that Bristol has been making a living selling her body and the body of her son. Ophs! that is a no no in Sarah's book.
ReplyDeleteI think that Van F. has been very well paid. Margaret Carlson reported on John Coale and the Alaska Fund Trust, saying that all of Sarah's expenses had been already been paid. That didn't stop AFT from continuing to accept contributions. I also like the tricky wording that the fund was meant to defend the Governor. Sarah is no longer the governor, and the fundraising should have stopped when she stopped.
