Here is the video of Levi Johnston at Sherry's sentencing that I promised you.
This was filmed by Dennis Zaki.
Damn I guess Sherry will not make it out in time for Thanksgiving after all.
Well at least Levi has somebody who honestly wants him to spend the holidays with them. Still, it has to kind of break your heart seeing him without his family like that.

OK what are the odds that she will come home and do the monitoring thing. Is it still being discussed or just a slow jail movement thing?
ReplyDeleteWill you keep us informed. Mt heart goes out the Sherry and the kids. She made a mistake, big deal. Let her do her time at home.
I hope Rex can work his magic and I like that Levi will get some time with his boy for Christmas.
Thanks for the info.
Gyphen you rock.

Well, if he had had his stuff together a bit earlier, he could have/should have applied for custody of tripp earlier (after making sure Tripp is his biological child, that is...)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you, Levi! keep up a stiff upper lip, and look forward to a brighter future!
No doubt the Palins would be quite happy for Levi to miss out on Tripp's first Thanksgiving, first Christmas, AND first birthday.
ReplyDeleteGo Rex!
Heartbreaking to miss Tripp's first Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHopeful for Christmas and first birthday. Things are getting better!
Rex will be handling the custody!
Thank you Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteHe should have started the custody awhile back.
ReplyDeleteI do feel sorry for him, nothing worse than being alone on the holidays.
Thank you for telling us, Gryphen. Levi and Mercede, you would be sooooo welcome at my house, too. I bet there are thousands of homes of the bloggers here who would welcome you. I am angry that your Mom can't be home by Thursday. I just want to tell you that, over and over, the nicest people I have met in my long life are those who had difficult growing-up years, and who rose above it, as you are doing. I send you a big Thanksgiving hug with my very best wishes.
ReplyDeleteSherry's facial expression of pure joy at the sight of her children is stark contrast to SP never really looking at hers. Happy Thankgiving Levi, may you and your family have a good year and look out for your baby sister :) She is a lovely young woman, I'm sure Mercede appreciates all that you do for her.
ReplyDeleteGyphen, please let the entire Johnston family know how many people genuinely care about them.
ReplyDeleteWe all know they got the Palin shaft. I have seen Levi on TV a lot, he's very presentable and polite. Not hard to look at either. I've seen Sherry and Mercede on TV last year. Lovely family all around. They don't tell wild stories. They seem believable to me.
Mercede is beautiful, she could be a model but I hope that she stays in school.
I can't wait for Sherry to get out and let the healing begin.
Please pass these thoughts along to the people who can get a message to them. The good news is Sherry will be home soon.
Happy Thanksgiving to ALL my Alaskan buddies and fellow bloggers.

And another compliment for Levi: Please know that many of us notice, big time, when you refuse to take the bait, Levi, when an interviewer is inviting you to say something mean about Bristol or even Sarah -- and you don't -- you take a pass on that icky opportunity. I cheer each time you do that, and you've done it a lot. It shows you to be a real, deep-down gent. It must be tempting to blurt some mean thing out at times, but you have shown a wisdom beyond your years in refraining. You've done way better than I would have. You've done the right thing. The mean, evil, hurtful things will all come out on their own, you do not need to help -- and I see you know that from some deep-down core of true decency you have. Congratulations. I am thankful that there are still good men like you around who insist on taking the high road, even though it is hard. And to Mercede, too. Say nothing and get your medical degree. You are doing great. Save the ammo for when you really need to shoot a little more of it off. I know your mother had a lot to do with all that, and that she is so proud of you both. That is a lot to be thankful for. I think you will emerge as the lucky ones out of his whole sorry mess. Hats off to Rex and Tank, too for guiding you so well. I think there's room for a happy Thanksgiving, a least in part, for now.
ReplyDeleteHang in there Levi and Mercede, I know things will get better. It was so touching to see your mother smile when she saw you two, there is genuine love in your family. Unlike, the other family we keep hearing about. Love and prayers to both of you. Come down to Texas and have dinner with us!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that Sherry will not be able to spend Thanksgiving with her family.
ReplyDeleteOT, but Gryphen, you have to check out Andy Borowitz's Palin Thanksgiving column. It's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteSherry looks scared to death. Given the powers that be in Alaska & the fact that Palin's old boyfriend has some control of Sherry's destiny I can see the Johnston kids need to be very careful right now. I was just wondering what happend to Todd's sister who broke into the same home twice, I believe she had her daughter with her, stealing money for her meth habit. I don't recall what her sentence was. Also there was a story a long time ago regarding Todd's brother who ran over someone while drunk & did not stop. Don't recall what happend there either. It would seem the wicked witch is out to detroy the Johnston family & Levi & Mercede are doing their best. It's just outrageous what is happening here. I can see why Levi is not ready to spill the beans just now. His mother is by no means out of trouble. Go Team Levi.
ReplyDeleteCan we please quit saying that Levi should have started asking for custody sooner? Levi had legal advice, and so far as I can see, he's followed it carefully. He's also shown absolutely no desire to trash Bristol in public and I'm sure he realizes it's better for the kids if Mom and Dad aren't fighting. Maybe he has to be seen as being deprived of visitation for a certain time before he asks.

Well, Levi has his sister, and they seem really close. I wish them all well.
ReplyDeleteUm, if a custody suit is filed isnt it illegal for bristol to take the baby out of state without Levis permission until all is settled?
ReplyDeleteI know thats what happened in my sisters case but that was CA
Sad to hear that she won't be home for Thanksgiving, but I guess the "official" news that she's eligible for the ankle bracelet might be better in the long run; I'm sure she'll do better at home with her kids than in a prison. I'm assuming Mercede's been staying with family or family friends- it seems she's doing ok. I can only imagine how hard it must be to go without her mom.
ReplyDeleteKudos to Levi for stepping up, not only for his son, but for his mom and sister as well- the pressure on him to make money right now is enormous, and knowing that makes it a little easier to understand how his legal team wanted him to do Playgirl- it probably paid very well. As so many people have been saying, the family bond in the Johnston family seems much stronger than the Palins'.
Levi you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many this Holiday Season. Your dignity and concern for your family and your little son certainly comes through, unlike the woman who catapulted you to the national spotlight, who apparently is incapable of feelings or concern for anyone other than herself. Hopefully, Christmas will be a real celebration for the Johnston family.
ReplyDeleteGryphen, you mentioned before that Levi will have to be the one paying for all the bills... I know he is on the Playgirl etc tour, and makes good $ for those gigs, but does he have enough to make sure he is able to pay all the bills so his mom can stay home? Should he maybe have some account set up so we can donate some via PayPal? If so, can you do it for him?
ReplyDeleteCR46 ~ Sherry's facial expression of pure joy at the sight of her children is stark contrast to SP never really looking at hers.
ReplyDeleteThat was nice to see. I share your sentiments and all the best for the Johnston family. I am visualizing when they are together again. Mom did good raising her strong family.
I'm sure Levi and Company just have a wonderful Thanksgiving together. Nothing can take their love from one another - nothing.
ReplyDeleteThey are survivors, not victims...that we know for sure.
Stand tall Johnstons!

Good work, Jimmy Olsen.
ReplyDeleteYou lifted a vid from Entertainment Tonight.
THIS should bring you credibility and a Pulitzer.
I should warn you, there's an armchair ambulance chaser on this blog who would suggest you are violating copyright.
Is that a law office or a second-hand store? I didn't see too many legal volumes in there but I did see a lot of random junk. Levi better get
ReplyDeletedifferent counsel if he wants to stand a chance. Oh, and also not pose for Playgirl.
