The Obama ones are not that funny. The Palin ones are funny. 'SNL' is boring without Tina Fey doing $arah Palin.

I am sorry...I didn't laugh..they basically pissed on HCR...and how it hasn't happened yet..it was the worse SNL of the year..sucked...they had a chance to do Palin jokes, or even Beck appendix jokes...it was worse than anything a 10 year old could have written...
I think SNL needs new writers - I TRIED to like it last night, but found it boring. I can appreciate humor directed at ANYONE, of either political persuasion - but, this was lame.

maybe one showing Piper hiring her own PR person to help keep her face on TV.
Sorry, SNL is so 30 years ago... pretty sure they have the same writers, and they're all on pacemakers. Drop an anvil, fall down the stairs, poke Curley in the eye, milk a guy in a beesuit -- hey, we could watch Heehaw! Really, SNL is dinosaur comedy, it's like being impressed at the astute todayness of Monty Python!
ReplyDeleteStewart and Colbert -- that's today's approach and take on reality. Bill Maher and Ferguson, on a good day when he isn't doing the Hollywood sleepwalk. Lewis Black's been losing ground for years, he's as old-hat and off-target now as Dennis Miller. Which is a shame, Black was good once upon a time.
But don't offer SNL as a lissom bit of new. We don't watch star trek/csi/project housepet six days a week because it's so frickin innovative -- its just cheaper to scrape money out of the same ideas, scripts, sets and low-rent actors/Levi, and they'll do it until the peasants storm the soundstages with pitchforks and a new generation of non-faith based educated writers.
So, never. I love Survivor! D@mn.
Re: Linda's page. I've been getting the "page not found" as well, but I found a very simple fix. Over on the left just below her picture is the clickable (Home). For whatever reason, that will get you back up and running.
