Did the Teabaggers fumble at the "Tripp is not a Political Football" protest? Update.

Many of you have asked how yesterday's protest went against the judges who dared to follow the law therefore refusing to allow the Johnston/Palin custody battle to be sealed in order to allow Palin to bulldoze over Levi behind closed doors.

Well I stopped by the courthouse yesterday around 12:00 noon.

This was still the scene at 12:15. (If Alaska had crickets you would be hearing them now.)

Nobody showed up. Not ONE person.

As most of you know this protest was encouraged by the lady who does Sarah's hair and the guy who wants to sniff her panties.

I have no idea if this rag tag group of Palin-bots is moving ahead with their harassing e-mails and phone calls, but if it is anywhere near as successful as this demonstration the judges probably won't even notice.

Celtic Diva has an update on this situation here.

Update: I forgot this little tidbit until somebody in the comment's thread. As I was leaving the courthouse, around 12:20, I happened to see a FOX News crew a few blocks away.

I thought they may have shown up to film the "protest", but when I asked them they said no they were there to film something else entirely and had NEVER HEARD of any protest.

That just kind of made my day.

    Crickets? Zippo? Nada?

    Teabaggers dropping the ball?

(Ew.....did I really just repeat the imagery of Teabaggers and balls?)

Now, that's a really effective "movement" with a lot of momentum. I guess without the corporate/fiscal $ponsorship of Koch, Murdoch and Dick Armey's "FreedomWorks," the Teabaggers don't amount to much.

Did I really read the Joe "YOU LIE" Wilson was out hiking with an intern yesterday?

ha! this pic is a metaphor for palin's fans.

    vacant.

kinda funny that they'll all raise hell from their keyboards but they won't bother to show up in person. real winners!

Such is the power of teabaggery. The only thing that unites teabaggers is their imbecility and their fear. Even the most rabid of the sheeple flock aren’t very committed to the “don’t punt Tripp” meme. Are we to believe that this is the tidal wave of grassroots passion that Palin will surf all the way to the White House?

  4. Gryphen the picture of the scene says it all!
The grifter grannys followers like to scream and holler about EVERYTHING, but must be doing it from their moms basements and are unable to get out of their jammys long eneough to follow through.
Another point to this is why have none of her worshippers risen up to defend Trig, when he has been used as a "political football"??

And could you please use that profile pic of Serror from hawaii once in awhile, you know which one---the one where she looks 80 yrs old.

  5. They're just a random bunch of armchair instigators. They'll make a couple of prank calls to the courthouse, but showing up in the cold to protest is out of the question.

  6. Did anyone read ADN.com this morning?
There's an article about new rules for renting the sports center in Wasilla due to the happenings at the Palin book signing... Oh and don't forget to read the comments!

I note that the AK 'Palin cream's his jeans' radio talker hasn't posted a new message on Twitter since Jan 7 at 1:51 a.m.

We know his show was going from 3 to 2 - lose of an hour, diff slot. When do we get the word it tanks further?

FCC got your tongue 'Panty Sniffer'?

Wow - how funny this is.

Perhaps a bit of sanity prevailed when they realized that trying to harrass a judge in the town where they may have to VISIT a courtroom isn't a really smart thing to do?

Seems the Bots make hollow threats.

My prediction is that the turnout at the courthouse protest will resemble the Teabagger turnout at the polls in November. Registering to vote and then actually showing up at the proper polling place, not to mention knowing how to read a ballot and mark your "x" will probably be pretty difficult for a lot of these people, many of whom seem to have never seen a voting booth.

  12. Gryphen you had better be careful. Granny grifter might turn you in for taking pictures of government buildings. You know how strongly she feels about terrorism and all that grown up stuff.

This picture speaks a thousand words! To me, it is the REAL support $$$arahcuda has.
Remember when they went out to demonstrate against Dave Letterman? Something like 15 people showed, 10 of them from the media?
    Now: ZERO!

Good going, $$$arahcuda! Keep it up!

Teabagger (n) – a species of subhuman (wasilla hillbillicus) recently determined by scientists as having been conceived in a colostomy bag and born in a cesspool. Easily identified by their pale skin, very limited intellect and peculiar habit of leaning to the far right and flourishing a Bible. Known for their inability to distinguish between the truth and a lie, this species frequently seeks out a queen over whom they can drool uncontrollably. Have been known to starve their own litters to support the queen’s insatiable demands. There are no plans to put this species on the endangered list; biologists are confident that they will simply destroy themselves.

Great work, Gryphen! It's a good reminder that Sarah's star is fading quickly.

I wonder how Bristol/Van Flein are going to present her income as reason for sole custody.

Sarah uses the phrase "opposition research" pretty regularly. Maybe she is paying Bristol as a consultant (via BSMP) to find any negative references from those on Sarah's enemies' list and then forwards them to Meg for response.

The Pie Sky thing also seems fishy. I bet Harper Collins wouldn't pay for family expenses on the book tour. A normal person would pay for the expenses themselves, but that's not what a grifter does. Maybe she paid for expenses for her parents and Trig via Pie Sky? If true, it explains why she had to wave Trig around at each stop to make the case that she is officially advocating for families with DS and other disabilities. Her parents could then be listed as consultants for his specialized childcare during the book tour.

Could she pull the same thing for Bristol when Trig is at home? Any uncovered expenses for his medical treatments could be written off that way. Bristol could then be paid as a specialized caregiver.

Honestly, how Bristol makes a buck isn't something I care about very much and I hope she makes it on her own someday. I only wish her the best and hope she and Levi can come to a reasonable agreement.

It is a problem, however, if Sarah is setting up shell companies to funnel her PAC money for personal gain. Reminds me of how Jim and Tammy Faye Baker used to live high on the hog from viewers' contributions. SarahPAC contributors should be skeptical.

One of the reasons why I'm no longer a Republican is the way the GOP does this shell game of money. The wealthiest counties in America are now surrounding DC. Here's a link to a Forbes article about it.

    http://www.forbes.com/2008/01/22/counties-rich-income-forbeslife-cx_mw_0122realestate.html

Contrast this list with how money was distributed in 2000. Some of the same counties appear, but the money is more spread out across the country. No wonder there is a Tea Party.

I listened to about 20 minutes of the Burke broadcast Celtic Diva links to on her blog. Seriously, how did that guy get his own radio show? He is boring, he repeats himself over and over, he's not smart or quick witted. He's just BAD. What a crappy show.

  21. Guess they decided to stick with harassing phone calls, maybe emails too? who knows!

LOL, it does remind me of the Letterman protest, where the media outnumbered the actual protestors.

Wondering now...will Hannity cover it, and use footage of a huge crowd from some other event? Complete with leaves on the trees?

    LMAO!

    Hmmm...?
That sure was some ' weak ' tea the Tea-Baggers brewed... I can see right through it.
And Eddie Smurf !!! This is YOUR Hometown and YOUR Protest... and YOU refused to show up..? Isn't this EXACTLY what Ziegler ( the other known panty-sniffer )did outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre at the " Fire David Letterman Rally " once he saw the number of people who showed up...? I see a pattern here.

GrandMa had already ' neutered ' Tawd... looks like Smurf had a ' Dr's Appointment ' as well yesterday that wouldn't allow him to attend. Snip... Snip.... Didn't hurt a bit did it.
Bring a Dr's EXCUSE note today Eddie... before you go on the air.

    Gryphen,
as a follow-up... we know Rishi works on Shannyn's Show there at KBYR as well as having to work switchboards at Eddies.
You can't blame Rishi if someone fooled him into letting them get on the air to ask Eddie a question about his previous show Topic that he Tweeted.THAT would be a shame.
I think the KBYR phone number could be found at Shannyn's web page..?... for those interested in THAT sort of thing. You too can be on the air.

Someone in Alaska stop by the radio station as Eddie shows up for work. See if the Dr. is making him wear one of those 'cones ' around his neck today.... after the surgery. He might be ' licking His wounds ' after His attempted Protest.
    Chow... Eddie... woof... woof.

a Palin free world? So boring!

Folks, for a refresher, when you get the time, please look up the difinition of Teabagger. I don't know if I should laugh, cry, or just say, WTF??..

    O/T..
Michael Steele is one of most obvious (Palin) tokens in the history of American politics. He ought to thank Barack Obama for his RNC postion. If Mr. Obama were not President, Steele wouldn't be the leader of a damn thing. Well, maybe leader of the clowns, or fools, or assholes, or.....

Dang! I wanted to see Fox News coverage, where they use old clips to inflate the count of attendees.

  37. I suspect that the only reason the tea bagger anti-health reform rallies were better attended is that the insurance companies paid for the buses and the cowboys to round up the sheeple.
