Paul Nicklen and his Polar Obsession.

I thought this absolutely amazing video would be a nice change of pace to share with you as I pursue some leads today and attempt to put the information that has been bubbling to the surface into some coherent order.

Wow the Antarctic seems so peaceful I wonder if they have internet access?

Wow! Amazing. I wish he would have pretended to eat the penguins or take them to minimize the killing of so many. Just the same, what an amazing creature! To those who say animals don't think or have emotions, I say bulderdash!!!

  6. Wow! That was truly amazing footage! National Geographic does great work showing people some of the amazing things that animals are capable of. It shows that we need to protect all the animals in their various habitats, even if that means that people can't develop every place they want to. People really don't need to be everywhere at the expense of everything nonhuman.

  11. I've worked in Antarctica for six seasons and I can tell you that yes, Antarctica does have internet access. Speed and access hours vary, but it's definitely there! Even the South Pole has access for about 12 hours per day.

  13. Thanks to Trigmund and Gryphen for this. It reminded me I wanted to get Nicklen's book. What an incredible experience with a predator animal. This is yet another example of why I really think animals are far superior to us mere humans.

Coherent order would be much appreciated on some of the recent bubblings Gryphen.
