This guy is a serious contender for John McCain's GOP nomination. No seriously! This guy!

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

This yahoo is a pro-torture, teabagging, neo-con birther with a glib attitude and a fancy suit.

No way he should be able to challenge McCain for his seat.

And by the way J.D. Assworth, or whatever your dumb hick name happens to be, Barack Obama DID play high school sports! So clearly his birth certificate was adequate.

He also had a passport, which requires an actual, honest to goodness, birth certificate. All you do by pretending not to know that is to pander to the least educated, most intellectually challenged constituents in your state. And if they could ever figure out how to use that doorknob thingy on the wall to get out of their damn house to vote for your pudgy ass you might actually have a shot at the nomination. Good luck with that Jethro!

I mean I am not fan of McCain, and I think allowing the religious right to force Sarah Palin on him was an act of cowardice. But there is no doubt in my mind that he is far more qualified to represent Arizona in the Senate then this knuckle dragging moron.

And let's face it since Sarah, Queen of the Teabaggers, is endorsing John McCain this sad little piece of equine excrement is sitting in the middle of "Lake Nobody Gives a Fuck" without any oars to paddle his ass back to High Poin, North Carolina from whence he came.

Of course Palin may soon follow her well established pattern and quit on her endorsement to John McCain. Ever since she offered her support she has been getting raked over the coals, not by liberals, but by her most fervent supporters.

I love these comments from her very own Facebook page.

– Sarah has made it clear that her loyality to a Liberal RINO Duck McCain, is more important then her loyality to the Stability of the country and the Conservative Folk.

– I am so sorry to hear that you are supporting John McCain. He is the ultimate RINO that the Tea Party movement is trying to expose. How can you accept $100k from the Tea Party movement and support John McCain?

– I would NEVER vote for John McCain. Why are you endorsing him, Sarah? I like you, but on this, I must question your motives.

– YOU had my FULL support, but now – NO!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! If you support [McCain] – forget about it!!!!

Uh oh, looks like there some disillusionment down in Palin-ville?

Just wait my little Palin-bots, you have not see ANYTHING yet!

Good lord but they might actually be stupider than I originally thought.

either McCain is totally clueless or this is a stroke of genius to finally put the nail in the coffin for Palin

oh no he DIDnt! "McCain has served admirably for a quarter of a century..." That's a nice way of saying "your time's up, grandpa."

btw, I grew up in High PoinT, NC and I'm sorry JD is one of our own.

  6. Sad when these two are all Arizona can offer up. Unfortunately, the democratic party has no one strong enough to present a challenge.

  7. One way to possibly understand this situation is that McCain has the REAL SCOOP on Palin and has pressured her into stumping for him-- or else. He also may be compensating her ($), as he is desperate now. Afterall - what's in it for her?? After she trashed him and his people in her book-- why else would she be doing this?

  8. Most of the Paloons were probably Ron Paul supporters last year. Paul was a Teabag before anyone knew it. If we have any defense for ourselves here in AZ, take note that Hayworth is already an EX-representative. Given that we still have McCain, Kyl, a plethora of ignorant right-wing reps, and a state legislature where 40% have no education beyond High School, I guess that's not much of a defense.

How do the Democrats ever expect to win Arizona without vision, forward planning and recruiting?

It's much easier to simply not field a candidate.

  10. Conscious, you have it right. Sarah has to play nice to McCain. But if this dude wins think how fast the angry lips will be loosened!

Here's my take - for the 2 cents it's worth.

McCain has the goods on Palin. She either campaings with him, or he tanks any hope she has of keeping her secrets under wraps.

Secondly, I don't have a horse in this race, but I would any and all to donate cash to JD hayworth. Give him the means to buy the rope to hang himself. If he wins the primary, then Palin would have another loser on her hands! It's a win-win. We get rid of McCain, Palin is 'damaged' and is offically the black widow of the GOP who kills off anything she touches. JD won't win in the general. Arizona has been trending blue for awhile. I'm GOP, but he's far too nuts for my blood.

Let the asshat convention begin! This guy is precisely why I am not worried in the least by the teabaggers. The teabaggers are an inbred tribe of morons who honestly think that Sarah Palin should be president. These folks are staggeringly imbecilic. They also cannot fathom anything other than abject fealty. That Palin should deviate from the lockstep teabagger marchin’ orders is incomprehensible to them. So much so that some are ready to dump Palin over this single indiscretion.

How do these fools think they will win anything? They won’t support anyone other than pedigreed teabaggers and none of those types will appeal to any but the cousin lovin’ slobbering goobers. As Jim Hightower said of George W. Bush, “If stupid goes to $75 a barrel, I want drilling rights on the teabaggers’ heads.”

Their mills grind slowly, but exceedingly dumb.

okay, the 2nd time he said "islamofascism" I had to hit the stop button. that's just f-ing nonsense. matthews had a great point about being like the enemy, and that guy just didn't get it. not surprised.

if this is what az wants, let them have him. but I doubt he'll win. don't forget, every one in the state gets their booze from cindy's family. loyalty will take priority in the long run.

The Palinbots (some of them at least) are finally imploding. First the Tea Party debacle and now this. I can't help but giggle a lil' bit.

    More comments from her supporters:

John McCain-You support John McCain????Are you playing same old politics here. He is a Progressive Republican...You just lost my support ..I believed you to be the People's hope...good to find out now...

    Joe Barber
The only reason John McCain received my vote was because of you. I was not going to vote at all until you became part of the package... I would lose a great deal of respect for you if you were to help him try to get re-elected. SORRY.

    Daniel Murach
McCain!? Are you kidding me? Time to pick a side, Sarah-- Are you with the people, or against them?

I do think as fans you should explain the McCain endorsement to us.

For some reason, I absolutely LOVE that last one.

Looks like Sarah's minions are starting to do the Palinbot Foxtrot. They're not going to know who to dance with at the Teabaggers Ball.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The palinbots cannot pick up on the fact that Palin is after the money and personal aggrandizement. A few may be getting a clue. Most of them will never figure it out. They think she loves them and is a savior from God.

    ReplyDelete
  19. You're hitting on Palin's biggest problem. To support whackjob teabaggers or not.

She must know by now that teabaggers are a deadend street. One of her advisers surely has told her. So she has to support McCain and there goes the teabagger support. Man, it must be tough being a dishonest and phony like Sarah.

Right-Wing Fringe Rebels Against Palin Over Her Endorsement Of ‘RINO’ McCain

    http://thinkprogress.org/2010/01/26/right-rebels-palin/

On Friday, Paul Streitz, the co-founder of the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee — a group trying to get Palin to run for president in 2012 — sent out an e-mail slamming Palin for supporting McCain:

She has now chose to align herself with several bad actors. What should this be called, the Rinoization of Sarah Palin. [...]

She is certainly entitled to write a book and make money for her and her family, but other than what has she has done to support Republican and patriotic candidates. … Perhaps, Sarah was too busy talking to her agent about her Fox deal. Where the hell was Sarah?

Fox News contributor Michelle Malkin wrote on her blog that “Tea Party activists are rightly outraged by Sarah Palin’s decision to campaign for McCain, whose entrenched incumbency and progressive views are anathema to the movement.”

Thomas Lamb at Red Country called the endorsement Palin’s “political Waterloo.” He added that “by Palin supporting McCain, she is supporting an enemy to [the Tea Party] movement and by de facto, becomes the enemy.” In a post titled “Yes, Sarah Palin is a RINO” on the Christian-right blog RealityCheck, ZbigniewMazurak called McCain “a despicable traitor” and wrote that by endorsing him, “Palin has proven that she IS for sale.” “I was a fan of Palin myself,” he added. “But I’m now convinced that she’s not a conservative, nor is she a politician qualified for the Presidency of the United States. … No real conservative would ever endorse McCain for the Senate.”

    ReplyDelete
  22. Agree with those who think that McCain and Palin have some sort of deal. If she campaigns for him and gets him the nice, big rally crowds that she pulled in Fall '08, he keeps up the "I'm so PROUD of her, she was a great VP choice" b.s.

Otherwise.... not so PROUD anymore. McCain is a nasty ass little man and don't you doubt that if little Sarah doesn't give him his due, he'll smack her cheap ass back to Wasilla for good.

Palin sold herself to Alaskans and then dumped on them because that was better for her, responsibilities be damned.

Palin sold herself to the Republicans and did the worst job in the history of the Republican party when she "worked" with Alaska's Rep. controlled legislature last spring and summer, because doing what was professional and responsible and being a leader didn't fit her needs, and it would have required real work. Oh, and compromise. Missy Sarah doesn't compromise becasue she is the only person in the room with God on her side, and God hasn't opened the "compromise" door for her to run through.

Palin has sold herself to her fans and milked them for money. She is unlikely to feel any loyalty or responsibility to them, anymore than she has to her other professional responsibilities. (Remember how she quit trying to learn for her debate with Biden and went mentally fetal.) When they become inconvenient she will feel no responsibility to them and they too will end up under her bus. Like virtually everyone else.

She ignores the developmental and educational needs of her youngest two children, and uses them as politic props, being a good parent requires work, leadership and giving of one's self. Sarah's a reciever not a giver.

She pimps her oldest daughter for money. And has twice used her middle daughter as the center of a pointless argument with her daughter's rape as the image, simply to keep her face in the news.

Even her bus ended up under her bus. She has a limitless lack of loyalty and compassion, and a none existent work ethic.

Who can follow the Palin logic (as if there is any) without getting lost in the weeds.

She is also backing Rick Perry, a candidate who would have Texas secede from the union (how's it going, Todd?) over female candidate
Kay Bailey Hutchison. The Tea Party debacle is going to come back to haunt her since she is more intent on making money on the backs of these people than in supporting their cause.

Who in their right mind would pay money to hear her "speak" must have a screw loose in the first place. Finding any "depth" in her comments by her supporters tells you all there is to know about the level of intelligence that emanates from that quarter.

    Stupid is as stupid does.

Wonder is Sarah is still speaking at the Tea Bagging convention.

Will she quit, be fired, or be asked to step down?

Or is she savey enough to see that the convention is imploding due to anarchy (large diverse groups really do need a governing body and the Teabaggin rabble are proving it) and that she is better off disassociating her self from it.

What do the Teabaggers want? What is their platform?

Has anyone seen it? Do they have plans to fix the economy? How do help small businesses that can't afford to provide health insurance to employees?

    What do they WANT?

Are they just nihilists think that Hate is a plan?

This guy's main enemy (beyond his mouth) is his bathroom scale. He fluctuates, up and down. He's actually trim in this video.

Worked with this guy on a House Committee, former sportscaster and then a radio host after he lost his House seat - he thinks he's perfectly positioned to appeal to AZ masses. What's changed since 2006? A more vocal and brave fringe? Other than that, he's not gained any new voters. . .

Why on earth can't the state find a decent candidate to take on these two jaggoffs? Cause like it or not, one of these two guys are going back to Washington. Again. Also, too.

The primary is one to watch, very interesting.

I want McCain sent home to AZ for good as well as several others who have graced the halls of Congress for way too long. We need a change in Congress and while this guy doesn't look great, he would represent a change. Apathy returns McCain and others to Congress.

One thing I find horrifying about those who consider McC a RINO is the underneath it all the are racist. A very conservative acquaintance explained to me that they dislike McC primarily because he supports immigration reform, while they just want to keep the hispanics out of the US.

    Anon @ 5:20 asks,
“What do the Teabaggers want? What is their platform? Has anyone seen it?”

First, let us all agree to NOT capitalize “teabagger.” It grants these buffoons a sense of importance and legitimacy that they do not deserve. As everything about them is base, let them remain lowercase teabaggers

Anon’s questions strike at the heart of teabaggery. The teabaggers are motivated by incomprehension and fear. They fear all “others” so an black president is enough to send them into fits of wild paranoia. They’ve always feared and despised liberals, so the ascendancy of progressives is very infuriating. I think that their hatred of liberals has less to do with any real policy stances than that they simply know that liberals are way more cool than teabaggers will ever be. The teabaggers exude a kind of transcendent dorkiness and they know it. No matter how hard they try, they always seem like clods. This is yet another subject that pisses them off. The teabagger raison d’être is seemingly to be pissed off at everything and everyone, including themselves.

The teabaggers are affiliated only by their stupidity. They are the great cloud of the right wing moron diaspora. They are motivated by a diffuse sense of ill defined, unfocused rage which is fueled by their nearly absolute lack of understanding of seemingly all subjects. They are painfully aware of their flaccid inadequacy to change anything. Thus, they piss into the wind and seem genuinely surprised at the results. They will brook nothing but lockstep conformity and when they don’t get it, like the teabaggers turning on Palin for deigning to support McCain’s senate bid, they will throw tantrums like the spoiled toddlers that they are.

They have been stroked and coddled over the past year by FauxNews and the GOP and have become imbued with unfamiliar feelings of power and significance. However, because the subjects which motivate them are so diffuse, they will never coalesce enough to ever form a coherent platform. As a political movement, they are utterly meaningless.

Each teabagger assiduously pursues his/her own delusional passion. When others do not endorse those delusions with sufficient ardor and zeal, they are declared apostates. In this fashion teabaggery will ever fracture and divide into smaller and more insignificant subsets, each declaring that all others are not true teabaggers.

Shakespeare could have easily been speaking of the teabaggers when he wrote.

    "...it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing."

  36. Bad as McCain is, to have JD Hayseed anywhere NEAR the levers of power would be like shooting yourself in the head in an attempt to make the gun look bad. The very short term gain of a nanny-nanny-boo-boo to $ister $arah (who is doing a fine job of digging her own hole without "help" like that) does not outweigh the epic fail of sending some teabagging hyuk-hyuk birther bigot to the US Senate, ferfuxake!
