Well hell this was broadcast into people's cars and living rooms, surely that is MUCH worse than having it said in a closed door session to a group of peers. Isn't it?
By the way did all of you get a chance to read Andrew Sullivan's write up on this topic yesterday? Well if you didn't you need to click here. It is a must read.
rush goes for a rear naked choke....Ummm....nevermind....Sorry for the really bad mental image...
ReplyDeleteCome on, Sarah-the-Weasel, what say you?
ReplyDeleteAlright, who's the douche-bag patriot that felt compelled to report this grievious abuse of Palin owned iconic words and images?
ReplyDeleteShouldn't it be an insult to families with Special Needs children or dependants to have this woman co-opt the very real issues that affect them daily and only inconveniences her occassionally?
Ohhhh, you caught me reading this story to my little Triggy-bear right before our scheduled interview. . .how very 'real' and 'maternal' of me. Can someone get this kid out of the way now?
Rahm said someone's 'ideas' were retarded.
ReplyDeleteRush called people 'retards'
I wonder who Roger Ailes will back up?
Sarah has to object to this, otherwise she will be outted as a partisan hypocrite.
If she doesn't it will be further proof that her rant about Rahm was a diversion because of the revelations about SarahScamPAC.
www.archivist1000.blogspot.com
Rush today called librals retards. Come on Sarah don't be a hypocrite!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I never knew (read the Sullivan piece) that Tri-g was the shorthand for Trisomy-21. Oh my, oh my.
Is she still peddling this crap so no one will question her about the money laundering?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget about Sarah-the-Weasel dressing her precious Triggy Bear as Dumbo for Halloween. How does that grab all of you Palin-bots?
ReplyDeleteIt's official. Everyone should be allowed to called Limbaugh a fatass.
ReplyDeleteYou can bank on this... Palin will not go after Limbaugh... he would jump on her so fast she'll run off to Russia with her ill gotten money and new passport.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Trig you ask? Her real momma Bristol will look after him!
Thanks for sharing Andrew's write up, Gryphen. Kudos to Andrew!
ReplyDeleteTri-G says it all. And I have no reason not to believe Levi's allegations. Mean girls make fun of others.
I don't think she'll attack orushie. Her focus since the campaign has been attacking President Obama and his administration. Considering the timing, she probably just googled to find something to rant on FB about to distract from those SarahPac monies.
Gryphen: Tonight on O'Reilly show
ReplyDeleteMiller used that word retard.Billo quickley moved on but he said it.
Her own network.
please. that woman on olbermanns show is absolutely clueless to the FACT that palin named this kid after his condition. she's going on and on with a completely false premise.
ReplyDeletepalin named that kid RETARD and she's bitching about other people using the word. she doesn't deserve any slack on this issue, in fact she deserves to be called out for the cold, heartless hypocrite that she is.
OK, I forgot the name of the commenter on Countdown. She actually believes $arah LOVES Trig. She has obviously not read Levi's remarks about Palin calling Trig a 'retard'.
ReplyDeleteGryphen,
ReplyDeleteNot only has Lord Lardass Limbaugh used the R word with no rebuke from Palin, now it appears that an aide to Gov. "Goodhair" Perry in TX used the same R word at least three times in a conference call with the two other GOP gov. campaigns. Kay Bailey Hutchison blew the whistle on Perry's boy:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/?fbid=xs2FN9h001w
Hmmm. Will Sarah now demand that Perry resigns as governor? If she is not a raving hypocrite she'll at least demand that the aide is fired.
How much you want to bet that won't happen?
I think Margaret Carlson is just baiting Palin. Let's see if it works.
ReplyDeleteGasman: good catch! How can Sarah POSSIBLY appear on the same campaign stage with him NOW? Too funny!
Mrs. Palin will never have to answer critics about comments made by Limbaugh, Miller and countless others on her side of the political fence because no one on Fox will ever ask her pointedly embarrassing questions related to those remarks. Don't think for an instant Roger Ailes hasn't laid down the law to Beck and O'Reilly to nix it with employing anything approaching real journalism on his star acquisition.
ReplyDeleteS.P.'s latest FB rant was about how Pres. Obama shouldn't be worried about helping obese kids but rather "real pressing issues"...
ReplyDeleteMy interpretation was, yes that is an issue "Mr. Obama" but come on! We got bigger issues facing our nation and don't have time to be digging up smaller, less important issues right now ...
If S.P. Pants truly felt our nation had big issues that needed to be addressed then WHY???!?!!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?
waste America's time and the Troops time and the Patriot's time with a "Stoooopid" fight.
She chose, in this "desperate time" ... I can hear the violins.. to pick a fight with Rahm
E. about a "slang" word he used.
Even if you take out all the crap she has done regarding little Trig and the origin of his name, blah blah blah
I thought she was serious about America and the true "causes at hand" .. blah blah blah
"He used the word RETARDED!! He must be fired!! Come on America!! Stop what you are doing and let's focus on removing this evil man from office because he said RETARDED!!!!!!!!"
Could her brain be any more hollow?
..and her "retarded" minions follow blindly...Yes Queen! now we stop focusing on the war and jobs and the troops and.... now we must get RAHM and evil Obama for "offending you with one very commonly used word" !
FB page was this one:
The White House recently announced its pricey Childhood Obesity Initiative to tell us what we should feed our kids. Helpful I’m sure – but most Americans would rather see government focus on other important areas right now. .......
What does demand our full attention is the newly released $3,800,000,000,000 federal budget.
[AND! pointing a finger at the Chief of Staff for using a word that offends me]
-anne s
In a one on one, Palin would deke Limpballs outta his socks with her slick dribbling...
ReplyDeleteWhoa! I'd better stop with this basketball analogy: I'm feeling nauseous already...
Okay, since you asked: I will call the commentator, Margret, a sap and gullible. Her whole comment feeds into the lie that Sarah Palin portrays that she cares about her children. That is is obviously not true.
ReplyDeleteIf Sarah Palin had the feelings that the commentator says she has, she would not have called her own child with DS the retarded baby.
Since we are on this subject: during the election my family and I were stunned that Sarah Palin refers to Native Alaskans as Eskimos. Where I come from that is like using the 'n' word and is responded to with censure. Are things different in Alaska? It seems that no one raised a fuss about it in the MSM. Even if the term is still used in Alaska, the sitting governor should never use it.
The clip was when she was responding to the clothes buying spree during the election and she said she was wearing her own earrings which Todd's mother, an Eskimo, made for her. Isn't Todd's mother family too? I may be able to find it n a pinch.
Here is the link where she calls her mother-in-law an Eskimo:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNJudTllmnk
I would really like to know if this is acceptable in Alaska.
Oh this is all getting very silly now. I love KO but you all know that he knows the reason SP started this is because she hates Rahm Emanuel's guts and wants to see him fired. And cause trouble for the Obama administration. Do any of you really think she cares about the "sensitivity of special needs children or their families?" It's not about Rush Limbaugh and what he says--he says a lot of evil things--and KO knows that. So does Sarah. She's not going to call Rush out. It's like the Letterman thing. She just wants revenge or something on Rahm. Sheesh.
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteAfter all these years you dumbass liberals still don't get Limbaugh's satire.
Good for Andrew Sullivan. That is the first news person who has ponted out the Trisomy Genetic Disorder or Tri G connection. Now that a credible voice has sponken about it hopefully it will continue to be repeated in reputable sites, along with the lack or proper clothing, glasses and hearing aids for Trig and the lack of educatin for Willow, and expecially Piper.
ReplyDeleteSarah is Mommy Dearest.
Like I say Berthold Brecht's "Mutter Courage" at least had the 30 years war as her excuse for neglect and self centerdness. She was trying to save her life and her children were at least Willow's age.
Anonymouse @4:57 AM
ReplyDeleteOh, we get Limbaugh, alright.
The question is, do the easily-provoked rednecks and impressionable baggers who look to him for guidance "get it"?
Anon @ 4:57...maybe Sarah didn't get Rahm's "satire" either. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteWell I REALLY hate to say this but Palin succeed…once again.
ReplyDeleteThis was for 3 reasons…
1: to distract from the immoral/illegal disbursements of SarahPac
2: these disbursements reveled that Rebbeca Mansour, one of the founders of
C4P, most likely coordinated the “grassroots” beggathon between the Alaska
Fund Trust, C4P AND $arah Palin…. remember live on rice and/or Ichiban
noodles do you can give give give…till it hurts hurts hurts? The one where
Palin was not AT ALL INVOLVED!
3: Mansour had been an unemployed, self declared screen writer (try to find
ANYTHING she wrote I double dare you)……so is most likely not ONLY Palin’s
Fakebook key puncher, but author as well. I refer back to comments Palin
made on FOX condemning her own Fakebook edict.
We knew all along that Palin doesn’t write her own Fakebook nonsense, but
NOW we know who is and …………so does everyone else.
That is unless you can come up with a big enough distraction…… to bury the
REAL story AND see if the media will continue to attribute the Fakebook
edicts and ravings to Palin.
If Palin isn’t writing this than who would report it? If a “screen writer” is
“makin’ stuff up” …why pay attention?
The media bought this hook line and sinker………NO ONE is paying attention
to the real story here……..sigh………way to go Palin, way to go.
The media are as intelligent as the teabaggers!
The funniest part of Lord Lardass' use of the R word was that Limbaugh was basically DEFENDING Rahm Emanuel's use of the word. So Limbaugh is taking sides with Emanuel against Palin? This is getting surreal.
ReplyDeletePalin won't criticize Limbaugh because he supports her (even calls her "Governor Palin"). S
ReplyDeleteI doubt Sarah will call Limbaugh out, she needs him on her side. She will either ignore it (hoping it will go away), create a distraction to divert attention from this, accuse the media of exaggerating the story, or as usual, blame President Obama.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what route she takes, her spin will just conform to more people what a fraud and hypocrite that she really is.
she is the one calling her own child retarded because parents with special needs children do not even relate to their own children as retards. she is bringing this into the open of what parents of special need does not want to refer to their own child. We can
ReplyDeletesee that's how her mind is. How can she even think because someone say's retarded that they are talking about specical need childeren. It really shows how she thinks about her child. I'm a parent of a special need child, and we have never heard the word retard associated with him. There are so many other terms. I just don't understand how she relates retard with her own son. what is wrong with this lady. even putting Trig under the bus.
I've just bought my tickets to the Retard Summit- It's a BYOB event so come fully prepared.
ReplyDeleteMargaret Carlson is a respected political journalist who has been a panel member on the leading Sunday political programs and others. Programs,I might add, that Sarah Palin would be in a cataonic state if she had been forced to appear as a guest during the previous elections or now. Margaret Carlson is not naive, rather, she is baiting Palin to see if she reacts to Limbaugh's offensive monologue. This is not going to happen. Palin fears Limbaugh and his wrath just like other Republicans. Wasn't he the one who called "her book" serious and stated that her insight was marvelous. Truthfully, I forgot what he said but it was along those lines. So, she is going to call him out? Not bloody likely.
ReplyDeleteRe: Trig
ReplyDeleteMany years ago, I worked for my state's Division of Mental retardation The name has since changed to the Division of Developmental Disabilities. I worked with an adult population as an educational consultant. As a group, these individuals were kind and loving. However, they had a sixth sense about people who did not care about them or made fun of them. When a visitor would appear, all would rush to greet. If the person was not "genuine", the group would sense this and disperse. Since we knew who was visitng ..........we got a new view of this person and our adult group had a 100% track record of "outing phonies". We always trusted their judgment because events in the future proved them to be correct.
Fast forward to Trig in his adult years. I don't want anyone to take offense about what I am to say. I am not speaking about my beliefs, I am "chanelin' Palin". Babies are cute for photo ops. Adults are not. When he ceases to be an opportunity for her, he will be totally in the background.
I have read these blogs with avid interest during the "book tour". It was all photo ops. She did not concern herself that her child should be at home on a schedule and having therapy. She did not concern herself that her child was ill- prepared to face the weather or he was without glasses and hearing aids. It has all been said before by so many of you. She doesn't care for this child. Quite frankly, she doesn't seem to care for any of her children. Piper should be in school. Willow is in deep need of parental consideration considering her recent behavior. Am not speaking about the other two, they are adults and must make their own decisions. How sad it will be if this women is on the scene, 18 years hence, and Trig is trying to engage her attention without result. He will know that he is no longer important, probably long before he is 18. How sad! But how true!
And, once again, all the Palin-haters are wrong:
ReplyDeleteLimbaugh used the "r" word repeatedly during his daily radio show yesterday. When the Palin camp was asked for comment on Limbaugh's actions by the Washington Post, they said,“Governor Palin believes crude and demeaning name calling at the expense of others is disrespectful.”
Palin officials say that is the same comment they have given reporters for a host of other instances where someone had used the "r" word and they are not singling out Limbaugh.
What are we gonna do in this brave new pc world when we run out of letters? The n word, the r word, the f word, the c word... ?
ReplyDelete.......my family and I were stunned that Sarah Palin refers to Native Alaskans as Eskimos. Where I come from that is like using the 'n' word and is responded to with censure. Are things different in Alaska?......
ReplyDeleteYes. Not all Alaska Natives are Eskimos. There are Aleuts, Athabascan Indians, Tlingits, Haidas, Eyak Indians and Eskimos can be divided into at least 4 different sub groups with their own language: Inupiat, Yupik, Siberian Yupik, Central Alaskan Yupik.
Calling someone an Alaska Native does no honor to their culture and their fierce sense of pride.
Anon @ 3:43,
ReplyDeleteBefore you crow about us "Palin haters" being wrong regarding Palin not criticizing Limbaugh, let's get a couple of things straight. First, Palin did not do so, it was her sycophantic lackey Stapleton. Second, the rebuke of Limbaugh was produced only after being prompted by questioning the hypocrisy of Palin not providing such criticism herself unbidden. If Palin's camp had not been questioned, I find it highly unlikely that they would have condemned the Bloviating Pedophile on their own.
The tone of the Limbaugh's rebuke was VERY different than Emanuel's. Emanuel said that certain actions were "retarded" and for that Palin demanded he be fired. Limbaugh called individuals "retards," which should be far more offensive to the mother of a down syndrome child than the former example, but she did not call for Limbaugh's firing. Why was a coarser, more offensive usage deserving of a lesser punishment? Could she be giving Limbaugh a pass because he is influential in the GOP?
Add to that Palin's own references to her "retarded baby" and her faux outrage simply seems like so much political opportunism. When she calls for Limbaugh, Gov. Perry's aide, and Dennis Miller to also be fired for their utterances, then I'll believe Palin is not a hypocrite in this instance. She uses Trig as a hand prop in a manner that should offend every human being on the planet. She will gladly exploit her special needs child for her own political ends. Few actions are as loathsome as that.
For the record, I do not hate Sarah Palin. I simply do not suffer fools lightly. Sarah Palin is not only most certainly a fool, but a lying arrogant fool as well. I am sick and tired of this pathetically insulting spectacle that she has been subjecting the country to for the last 18 months.
I believe the three most odious human attributes to be ignorance, arrogance, and dishonesty. Palin co-mingles those three disreputable characteristics in fairly equal proportions. Additionally, she is incredibly petty, vindictive, and extremely paranoid. Gee, what's not to love?
I want her exposed and I want her to go away. Forever.
