Sarah Palin Teabagger Convention Speech.

Five parts.

Part One

Hello America...Happy Birthday Ronald Reagan...hello C-Span...kiss teabagger ass...kiss more teabagger ass...slam the media..kiss new Senator Scott Brown's ass (yummy)...slam Pelosi..slam Rahm Emanuel...defend George Bush, give stupid advice to Democrats...kiss more yummy Scott Brown ass...liberal left = establishmt(?)...talks about her gubernatorial race...something about her ideas(?)...tea party movement don't need no stinking leaders....tells insulting teleprompter joke at Obama's expense (Must not have watched him kick a room full of GOP ass with no teleprompter help whatsoever!)...another big wet lip lock on the teabagger butts..

Part Two

Blames Obama for Christmas day underwear bomber (I wonder who she blames for 9-11?)...repeats lie that reading Umar Abdulmutallab his Miranda rights made him stop cooperating (Somebody needs to channel surf away from Fox News once in awhile)...brings up her son Track and his possible death as a reason to NOT give Abdumutallab any rights...makes case that respecting Abdulmutallab's right to counsel "scares her" for her children (?)...brings back phrase "radical Islamic extremists". (Gee I had so hoped that with the Bush administration gone we had heard the last of that bullshit phrase!)...pisses on Obama's foreign policy decisions...blames administration for missile tests in South Korea (Didn't they do that when Bush was in office too?) and Israel's lack of confidence (Yeah NOW they know that if they attack Iran they may be on their own)...mixes up America and Alaska (THAT will show up on Countdown and the Daily Show next week....wants administration to change course...applauds decision to send more troops into Afghanistan...makes tired old claim that "democracies don't go to war with each other"(Oh yes they do)...quotes John F. Kennedy (who is right now spinning in his grave) to convince Obama not to blame country's problems on Bush...

Part Three

Talks about when she rejected stimulus money in Alaska...then mentions that her own fellow Republicans overwrote her veto...makes fun of Joe Biden (I bet now he wishes he had kicked her fake tanned ass in that VP debate!)...Without a hint of irony she is dinging the Obama administration for its lack of transparency...now pretending like she understands economic issues..."sweetheart dills?" (When will this woman learn to say "deals? Sounds like she is talking about Valentine's Day pickles!)...unbelievably blames national debt on Obama administration...once again tries to make the point that problems could be solved like a family doing its budget...just tighten your belts...imbecile...again tries to blame the debt on Obama and calls it "generational theft" (Did this woman sleep through the Bush administration?)...Palin, "as the saying goes If you can't ride two horses at once, you shouldn't' be in the circus" (Well if she is looking for a circus she is certainly came to the right place. Just look at all of the clowns.)...Claims that her administration "put government back on the side of the people" (I was one of those people. Trust me, her government was NOT on my side!)

Part Four

Says that "if government got out of the way" our economy would "roar back to life" (Didn't the Bush administration stay out of the way of big business? I don't remember a roaring economy then, do you?)...recites campaign slogan of an "all of the above approach to energy" (Which is a fancy way of saying "Let's just try everything, but let's give more money to oil and gas companies because they give big to republicans")...and let's relax those regulations for off shore drilling (Cleaning up devastating oil spills is a "job creator" too!)..."How can I help our country?" she asks (You may submit your suggestion in the comments section)...Oh "sit down and shut up", that was MY suggestion!..You don't need an office to make a difference. (Just plastic surgery, a bumpit, and a couple of segments on Fox News.)...Brings up the Constitution as best "road map" (I wonder if she is making a mental note to have Piper read her that document some day?)...Ooh teabaggers jump up when you say "Constitution"...jump little baggers, jump...."Enduring truths" have been passed down from Washington, to Reagan, to you. (Is it my imagination or did she skip a whole buttload of presidents there? Or are those the only ones the baggers recognize?)...Did she just refer to the teabagger movement as "young and fresh"? Is she not seeing the same middle age faces in the crowd that I am seeing?...Oops running out of topics, time to talk about the attacks on her children...Teabaggers go "Boo"...Teabaggers good, and kind, and selfless (Everything that Sarah Palin is not.)...Happy birthday Ronnie!

Part Five

Is talking about Reagan choking her up?...Surely that is an act for the crowd...You know i think we already live in a world where children with special needs are welcomed...and embraced...Do they think only Teabaggers love children?...Oop time to pander...combining Reagan with god is a guaranteed standing "O"... "This movement is about the people" (The people who buy my book, pay me $100,000 to speak here, and who give freely to SarahPAC.)...God bless you teapartiers...You simple, simple teapartiers.

I read that there were 1,100 people in that room. Did it seem like that many to any of you? Well I think Fox News said it and you certainly know how well THEY count.

  4. Palin was off tonight and did not give a very good speech. I expected her to work those tea-baggers into a hate-filled frenzy, but she didn't really get a lot of applause until about half-way through her speech. And she critisized the president for using a telepromptor, however, it looked like she needed one tonight. She sure was having trouble reading that pesky script. Darn, must be her speechwriter's fault! Either that or the skin is pulled too tight around her eyes and she can't see well anymore! (I vote for the latter) Honestly, she looked better BEFORE plastic surgery.

    (Susie here)
I tried but I just can't watch much of the videos. I have read some quotes and commentary about it, and that's about all I can stomach for now. I see her smile is still strange and muted from whatever procedure she had done, like an OD of Botox or surgical tightening of her face? It looks strange and I can't imagine why she thought this would look better than her wrinkles. Ugh!

  12. Oh, my god. What a tacky wig. Seriously. Why doesn't she get a decent stylist? We've already discovered that she can afford it.

The thing that stands out to me is that this person was paid $100,000 to speak and couldn't memorize a speech about topics she chose. Any good business person will be able to stand and give a speech or presentation for 20 min. She is unprepared, having to read the whole thing off her index cards--very unprofessional.
The other thing that stands out is Serrors half-a-wig.

Palin is a crazy dumb idiot!!!!!

She was terribly nervous....think she has PROBLEMS on her mind..LOL

    Looked terrible sounded worse.
In fact I could hardly understand a word she was saying.

I could go on forever abt how awful she looked..sounded, etc. but I'm sure everyone will have their own judgement for her "show".

Sorry Gryph, I just couldn't watch. I tried, but the first three minutes were nothing but snide and nasty. I'm glad there are some folks out there who have stomachs of steel and can report to the rest of us, but I'm not one of them. I really, really, REALLY detest this woman.

  17. It's so far from where I live to the far little cranny at the other end of the bell curve where these people live that - as usual - I was tired and half-pissed by the time I got there - but I noted a few things --

Every single point Palin brought up on Foreign Policy was hardline neoconservative - clearly straight from her advisor Randy Scheunemann. Enough talk w/ Iran, NKorea, etc.

Tried to slam PObama for killing missile shield - isn't informed enough to know Romania is new site for it (instead of Poland).

Weak on support for Israel (pure Scheunemann there) - disagreeing w/ Israel on anything is a lack of support.

It's clear that the Palin/Tea Bag economic philosophy is that our national economy is as simple as a family budget, and therefore must operate by the same rules. No wonder they like Palin - she isn't smart enough to disagree or give them explanations they can't understand. Common-Ignorance Conservatism.

Completely neoconservative on "war on terror" - not a law enforcement problem. (Sounds like Cheney had it right.)

Stimulus hasn't created a single job. (Heard the same line from Brown last week - expect more of that one.)

Slams AK legs for taking energy money from Stim. Doesn't quite get around to telling that her successor combined that $28M w/ bond money to invest $85M in energy conservation to be paid off in direct savings. Aprntly Miss Wasilla would have continued to piss $-tens-of-Mil down drain to prove fiscal cred to Tea BAgs. They applauded. Yes! Down the drain, Baby, Down the drain.

Either she's breaking those new teeth in right or she doesn't understand a fucking thing about the national debt. One long lie about its origin.

Thank god - my dog is barking at something outside ...

And once again, Piper in the wings. Does that kid EVER go to school?

Reading from notes that appeared that she had not read before she came on stage because she sure got lost in the "word salad" once again when she lost the thread of the notes.

And Todd being an Independent? Give me a break! He belonged to a secessionist party until she got tapped by McCain.

This lady is running in 2012,mark my words. Tonight was a warm up and because those cable stations chose to run that dumb speech she will garner more attention in tomorrow's news along with the cable shows.

Ignore her and just maybe she will go away but they are treating her as if she made sense.

Well the queen has spoken and all of America was given access..

Right here is my only forum, so let me say this..

I am simply in awe of white privilege. no black woman, Asian, Native, Hispanic or other could have gotten as far as this ignorant, hypocritical fraud has.

The fact that this unqualified, undignified wackjob is the chosen one to ridicule and chastise the President of the United States does nothing but further weaken the world's view of this country.

The first time in my adult life that I ever voted, I voted for Barack Obama. Was set to vote for Hilary, but..??

Our President isn't perfect, he's no saint, nor is he a messiah. But, Sarah/Todd Palin? as an alternative? We can do better. We must do better.

    Gryphen -

I just listened to this, read your blog and Andrew Sullivan's response.

Is it wrong for a thinking man to be as terrified of this woman as I currently am?

Just terrified to think of what she's capable of doing and the absolute power that she could wield given the opportunity? And to me, what is truly terrifying, is that she could be given that opportunity with the right confluence of events.

Someone, and I am not saying you, but someone needs to bring this woman down before she becomes like the mythical Hydra - you cut one of her heads off and two sprout in it's place.

    ReplyDelete
  23. 10catsinMD8:47 PM

I was listening on Palingates, but I couldn't stand her garbage.
Garbage, garbage, garbage, garbage. She is all militia talk. Patriot garbage. Reminds me of Ruby Ridge. Like no one else is an American or a patriot.

Her appearance is so repulsive for someone who wants to be believed. She is rarely serious and even does the head throwback at the end. The sex thingy. Almost expected her to flip her hair back with her hand. She is always smiling that pageant smiley.
Why is her daughter not home in school?
Someone is coaching her, but she still is lousy and spouts splitter (Rovin) garbage. No honest suggestions for improvements. She is pushing borderline sedition and does not care.

Her hidden psychological agenda is to promote tension, insecurity and aggravation. Like the tease who never stops until you agree with them or just run away. She is so sick. See, listen to how I feel. She promotes ill will and aggression. I need a peace pill or a good drink.

The bag lady, even in her element, seemed particularly "off" while reading the speech verbatim off of notes. She kept looking up, eyes darting back and forth, waiting for the crowd to roar, and all she got was mostly a whimper.

Seems that her gravy train is about to derail.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Gryphen you have to send the screenshot of her reading off of her hand to countdown@msnbc.com, rachel@msnbc.com, hardball@msnbc.com, um, letters@msnbc.com, and I can't remember Ed's. But start with Keith O! This whole teleprompter thing will be hysterical when they do the slow mo to her reading her HAND!!!

take a deep breath and remember that she's already gained the most fans she will ever have. and it's no where near enough to elect a president.

and for good measure, remember doug hoffman. she was the kiss of death for that guy. first dem elected in that district in over 100 years.

I'm a conservative Christian that woman drove out of the Republican party after 35 years with her hate speech. I read the so-called liberal blogs because it's the only way I can get actual facts about political news.

I think a lot of people posting on the various blogs forget that there's millions of people like me that will NEVER vote for this hypocritical harleton. I seriously doubt that all the conservatives/independents who voted against her specifically will change their minds about her just because some time has passed and we're not seen screaming in public.

With that being said, I do think it's very important to continue to get the facts out about her stunning lack of character coupled with her obvious lack of critical thinking skills.

If any mrs. palin supporters care to look up her record on fighting for the unborn, go to the site Prolife Profiles. The site dissects the actions of politicians who claim to be prolife and provides documentation. She's listed on Tier 4; basically it's a myth she's prolife.

    Are they lying too?

  36. The woman is enough to gag a maggot. She at least used to be entertaining but the hair gets worse, the face gets less mobile, she's just a weirdo now.

and you said "...First off let me just say that comparing Obama to Jesus Christ is a REALLY silly way to frame an argument. But since this ridiculous moron wants to go there, then perhaps I should point out that there is NO birth certificate for Jesus..."

Not only is there no birth certificate, she seems to have lost sight of the fact that his parents were going to PAY THEIR TAXES (with no complaint recorded...in fact the only thing about taxes in the whole NT says to pay 'em and shut up) when he was born away from home, since at that time the census and taxes were so connected as to be one and the same....

I don't see how she can stand to be that close to herself.

Covered all the Tea Party bases:

    • God√
    • Salute to the MIlitary √
    • BBQ √
    • Real People √
    • Common sense √
    • Special shout out to Scott Brown, a "guy with a truck" √
    • Hard work √
    • "My Friends" (borrowed from McCain!) √

I had to pass on a bunch of it (one can only take so much bullshit in one day!).

Bottom line- I wish the Tea Party nation HUGE success in fractionalizing the GOP party.

Message to everybody to ignore all the stuff that's coming out about her. Just have faith in her message.

  46. I really almost have to laugh when I hear these people refer to themselves as the "Tea Party." Not only are these people flat-out idiots but, if they paid attention to the cultural history of the U.S., then they would realize that:

Way back in the "olden days" i.e. 1950s, or so, marijuana was called,"tea." It is even referred to as such in some of the lyrics from "Westside Story."

In the song, "Gee, Officer Krupke," the lyrics that Stephen Sondheim set to Bernstein's music refers to a grandma pushing tea--psst...not the Earl Gray variety.

Now, I am not criticizing anyone who uses marijuana--especially for medicinal purposes and pain control during cancer treatment--but I just think some people need to get it straight about exactly what kind of "tea" Grandma Sarah, etal, are trying to push.

"Westside Story" is the reflection of a population of unwanted children born into financially destitute situations and, in turn, into a larger world where self-worth hinges on bigotry and hatred of others based on their DNA. It is through violence that they try to get their narrow views across.

To me, this sounds an awful lot like the world that this ignorant gang of "teapartiers" is trying to create--and the one in which Grandma, Sarah Palin, is very willing to do the "pushing."

  47. There is no way a convention room at Opryland could hold 1,100 people.
Not unless you counted the same people 3 times over.
Go to Gaylord Entertainment's website. It will tell you how many people it can hold. Make sure you click the link for Opryland Hotel in Nashville. They have many other properties, too.
I could not watch this Palin beyond two minutes. The minute she opened her mouth I was screaming at the T.V. Thanks for watching so we didn't have to.
$arah is an imbecile. It's as simple as that. She cannot learn anything. Maybe she has brain damage. But writing yourself notes while making fun of Obama using a teleprompter? The man is trying to fix so many f*ck ups! And most of the time, he does not use one!
I hope to God that someone finally takes this b*tch down! She is too much for me and many others to bear. Whoever finally does the deed will truly be an American (and world wide) hero. It's as simple as that. Nobody wants her in politics except for the 'bots and Murdoch. Murdoch only wants a puppet he can control. He better realize that $arah is out of control.
