Tea Party labels Sarah Palin a "wolf in sheep's clothing".

Dale Robertson, the founder of TeaParty.org, has posted a scathing article that warns his followers that the Republican party, and more specifically Sarah Palin, are trying to hijack their movement.

I am sending an alarm to the Tea Party membership! Be alert to turncoats and deceivers being herded into the Tea Party by usurpers from the weakened Republican Party for the sole purpose of capturing our populist movement. Our political ideals were once theirs and our immense growth has created a lusting for their good old days!

Sarah Palin’s well delivered speech and her attractive demeanor is little more than a veneer for her less attractive political philosophy. She seems more like a duck out of water among true Conservative Constitutionalists. Palin demonstrates her NeoCon flippant viewpoint and her naïveté as she seems envious of the swelled numbers of Patriots pledging their allegiance, to of all things, AMERICA and not to a kool-aid ridden political dinosaur.

What Republican wouldn’t want 10 million angry voters marching in the streets shouting, God Bless The Republican Party, where a few months before the same voices sang, God Bless America!

Sarah Palin is not dense or erroneous in her view of the Tea Party, just the opposite. She represents a growing insider’s attack to the heart of the Tea Party. Very much like a wolf in sheep’s clothing entering in at the gate as an ally, but for all intents and purposes there to seize and capture, not only one or two stray sheep, but the whole flock!

I don't usually defend the teabaggers (which you may be able to discern for yourself since I always call them "teabaggers"), but I have to agree with Dale Robertson to some degree. If this movement really wants to stay true to their poorly rationalized and inarticulate cause they are going to have to resist being absorbed into the GOP. After all most of the things that the teabaggers stand against was foisted upon them by George W. Bush and the Republicans, like bigger government, a higher deficit, and the loss of jobs.

If these knuckledraggers were really serious about wanting to help this country get back on its financial feet and keep taxes low they would demand an end to the two wars America is currently fighting. With trillions of dollars being sent overseas it is ignorant to blame our financial situation on any bank bailouts or health care plan.

I would also support Robertson's desire to keep Palin as far away from his movement as possible. She is a one woman wrecking crew. Literally everything she touches turns to moose shit.

They're going to tear each other apart which is funny to watch. They'll be much harder on Palin than libs ever were - that's what will be funny.

Don't forget though that Dale Robertson is the TeaBagger pictured at a Texas TeaBagger Party in Houston where he was holding the sign that said "N...AR". I just clicked on the link to his site. On the left side, at the bottom, there's his famous photo but he's removed the word "N...AR" and replaced it with "SINNER".

I don't believe there's one TeaBagger who really is "serious about wanting to help this country get back on its financial feet and keep taxes low". Bottom line on what they all want is a white man in the WH. And their guns and religion. They're all crazy.

  5. oh happy day! When teabaggers can finally see Granny O'Palin for her true nature - hopefully it means her days are numbered and perhaps folks will stop being so afarid of her and open up so the truth can be revealed - though most of those who know the truth about finances and other shady dealings are probably in it up their eye balls too and are scared are getting in trouble - but that is why they should open up soon and be the first to get the best deals

  6. GMTI - I JUST read that article and was about to e-mail it to you, Gryphen.
WOW - The Tea Party is ON TO HER!
Palin thought she could bring the teabaggers back into the Republican fold - the antithesis of everything they "stand" for.
Between this article and her support for McCain (whom they loathe) - WHO is left?
The twenty fans in the sea?
Her FB "followers" are mostly folks who are watching the trainwreck.
I am LOVING it that even the teabaggers can see through the phoney!

There is a difference between teabaggers and tea partiers. From what I understand, Ron Paul supporters were the original tea partiers. Their messaging, although not mine, was consistent. But when folks like Dick Armey joined and brought along his corporate sponsors, the movement changed.

I actually have respect for the initial messaging because it was based in their principles. What it has become is a chaotic mess of conflicting principles perpetuated by manipulators and opportunists.

I actually feel bad for people who started this and have watched the Republican party destroy yet one other opportunity for moderate debate.

I am so glad to see some of the tea partiers call out Sarah Palin for what she is while she's trying to annoint herself as their queen.

I believe it was the Trojan horse that entered through the gate.

But, Sarah makesit work. The sheep/wolf Sarah is also the GINO/RINO, Neo-non-con, dem bulb, nonelitist millionaire, Jane six pack who shuns a private bus for a private jet, was for the bridge to NW before she was against it, was for the bail out before she was against it, loves Alaska's beauty and natural gifts so much she wants to destroy the former by selling off the latter....

This comment by Dale Robertson was no doubt made after Sarah made several harsh attempts to collect ALL of her speaking fees amd expenses for last Saturday night's, ahem, performance – and perhaps Dale came up a few pennies late and dollars short, so to speak. Now that he has 'negotiated' with Sarah behind the scenes, and not just watched the distracting dog and pony show, he is in a better position to assess who she really is.

Once the tea baggers let loose on her, there will be only a few repugs who will still cling to the opportunism that she represents for them. The rest of the repugs will soon see the blood in the water so that their attacks can become more open. I do not expect her to go away soon or quietly, however. She is convinced that she is entitled to it all – and she will relentlessly pursue it until finances prohibit.

Am I psychic or what? I believe that I’ve been predicting this for awhile now. The teabaggers are turning on themselves. If their whole bag has been shrieking delusional paranoid nonconformity, why does anyone think they can suddenly all be herded in any single direction?

Teabaggers they were, teabaggers they are, and teabaggers they shall remain. That they were stupid enough to pick a moniker with a very unfortunately prosaic other meaning is their own damn fault. FauxNews and the teabaggers themselves picked out that name. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Anyone ever hear of Kevin Trudeau?

Right. That Kevin Trudeau. So-called inspirational speaker who doubles as infomercial pitchman.

Yesterday, a federal judge in Chicago charged Trudeau with criminal contempt of court after Trudeau asked followers to email the judge to protest rulings in the civil case brought against him by the FTC. The followers’ complaints overwhelmed the judge’s email. The judge stated the effort was a deliberate attempt to harass the court.

    Sound familiar?

I also don't get this either. Well delivered speeches? Attractive demeanor? These people don't notice the subtle cues of body language, that's for sure. And with Palin, it's not even that subtle at all. You can always see that undercurrent of apprehension, a lack of confidence (rather, a knowledge that she has no idea what the script in front of her is even talking about), the stammering, the petty and childish and vindictive flashes in her eyes. What is it about these people and their inability to see a fake IMMEDIATELY?

Anon@ 3:42, If the GOP hadn't followed Bush blindly into his needless and reckless war in Iraq (worse, being complicit and complacent enablers of his holy war philosophy) we might have actually finished the job in Afghanistan. Years later the situation in Afghanistan is much worse. As much as I'd like to see a full pullout out of Afghanistan, I'll trust that President Obama is doing what needs to be done. What Bush should have done. The GOP actions of the eight years under Bush have been disatrous for this country and the world. They have destroyed countless lives, and yes, even if those lives are Afghan and Iraqui, they DO COUNT. Republicans can deny all they want and keep pointing fingers at Bill Clinton instead of their heros Reagana and Bush, but the actions are THEIRS.

    =================================
Far-Right Radio Host Savages Palin: It’s ‘Suicide’ For Republicans To Choose Palin As Our 2012 Nominee

On Thursday, a Washington Post-ABC News poll had some bad news for Sarah Palin: 71 percent of the American public — including 52 percent of Republicans — don’t think the former Alaska governor is qualified to be president. This week, far-right radio host Michael Savage voiced some of these GOP complaints, saying that the Party would essentially be committing “suicide” if it made Palin its 2012 nominee:

If you want Obama for a second term, just make sure that Sarah Palin is the Republican nominee. … And I am telling you, that if they make that idiotic mistake of pushing her as their lead candidate, it’s over; Obama will get a second term, no matter how bad his presidency has been. That’s my opinion. It’s one man’s opinion. It doesn’t mean I don’t agree with her politically. It doesn’t mean I think she’s a bad person.

She’s not electable as president. She doesn’t have…the gravitas. He doesn’t either. That doesn’t mean — She’s not the right person. We need a businessman. We need someone with guts, preferably someone who’s served in the military. That means we have nobody. And please don’t tell me about Mr. Brown. God! Please! I warned you! Don’t Obama-size these guys.

It’s ironic that Savage criticizes Palin for not being a “businessman,” considering that that line is a frequent attack she throws at Democrats. In her recent speech to the National Tea Party convention, she cited her experience with Todd’s “commercial fishing business” as evidence that she knows how to “tighten our belts” and “cut back budgets” — unlike the politicians in Washington.

Savage also went after Palin’s arrangement with Fox News, saying that it was unethical and disingenuous:

You know what disturbs me? This is the part that worries me a little bit. She went to work for Fox News, and at the same time, she’s fundamentally running for the presidency. At the same time. I mean, the last I checked, you can’t do that. The last I checked is that you have to leave a media job in order to announce your candidacy. What is this? You can’t have it both ways. Either you’re running, or you’re not. Don’t play a game with the American people. We’re not stupid.
