Here Bristol refers to baby Tripp as a "consequence". Yet another warm and loving video to help him someday cope with his strange upbringing in the Palin paramilitary compound.
And here Bristol tries to explain the bizarre motto "Pause before you Play".
She does not do very well. Hey maybe if she wrote the notes on her hand!
Gee I wonder who is watching Tripp while Bristol is off confusing young women about sex? Is he with his nanny? Aunt Heather? Todd? Maybe Piper is carrying him around the house like a rag doll in preparation for when she follows the successful path of her big sister?
One thing I know for sure is that he is not with Levi. Nor with Levi's mother or sister. Because if he was then Bristol could not play the victim, just like dear old mom, and claim to be raising the child all on her own.
Look I tried to give Bristol the benefit of the doubt, but the more time that goes by the more her personality resembles that of her mother. Sarah Palin made 12 million dollars since she ran away from her responsibilities, how could her daughter not see that as a positive choice to make?
I find it very distasteful that you would demean a young child like Piper. I'm sure you wouldn't approve of someone discussing your minor child in that manor. Piper is like 8 years old. You are 50. Who's the mature one?

Sarah will have to show him again if she ever runs for political office, so she can't have "sent him back to Russia" or anything. We know people who had a couple of teen aged kids and unexpectedly conceived a child. And, yes, they refer to him as an accident. When the poor little "accident" becomes old enough to process those words, they have to hurt. And, how nice that the older siblings, who do know what's going on, think that he is an accident, too.
ReplyDeleteI know of one family where the kid actually makes excuses for his bad behavior in school, telling the teacher that his mom had him when she was in her 40's. What kind of thing is that to tell a child?
So, Bristol is in good company with other unthinking adults who don't think about the harm that they do to their child when referring to him as a "consequence."
As for the "pause before you play" remark, it is beyond juvenile. No disrespect to Bristol, but judging from stories of her teen age party life, I am guessing that a few drinks and perhaps another substance or so was involved. That setting would pretty much work against the "pause" part; by then, no one is thinking very clearly, let alone fumbling with some protection or remembering to ask if a partner is on the pill.
Sarah Palin humiliated Bristol when she disclosed Bristol's pregnancy at the 2008 convention. It wasn't necessary. Now, Bristol is trying to deliver a morality message, a little too late. That photo cover of People Magazine showing a smiling Bristol holding her baby and diploma with no Levi in the picture is enough to encourage teens that they can do it too. And, kids, you might even become rich and famous!

ReplyDeleteThere are felons and there are felons. Levi's mother is not a dangerous felon. Many of us think she got a raw deal. Even the judge was reluctant to sentence her because of her clean record in the past and the kind of charge against her.
I suggest you are overreacting.
At least Levi's mother raised kids who haven't gotten into as much trouble as the Palin clan and show respect for one another and themselves. Sure, Levi had unprotected premarital sex, but so did Bristol so that's a wash.
I think you'd be more upset with the fact that Sarah Palin has not been a diligent mother - allowing Piper to skip so much school, letting her wear shoes and clothes that make her look one of those sad kids in the pageant industry (Little girls should not make a habit of wearing heels because it's not only bad for their bodies, it is also sending a child porn message that attracts pedophiles.)
Perhaps you did not see Piper on stage giving the finger to someone or heard he comments regarding how someone who opposed her mother should be treated. None of this reflects on Piper as much as it does on the tragically poor parenting skills of Sarah and Todd.
That child belongs in school, wearing age appropriate clothes, learning manners - not following mom everywhere. Where the heck is Todd? He doesn't work outside the home any more - can he not take responsibility for the kids?
Gryphen has gone out of his way to point this out time and again - it's not the kids fault if they misbehave. It is the fault of Todd and Sarah. They simply do not know how or don't care to parent their children. They are the immature ones.
Read again, Anonymous. That was a question about Piper, how do you get she was demeaned? Look at Piper when she and Trig were active political and book sale props. Tripp was a prop last year when he couldn't move for about 10 minutes on national TV. Neither of his parent care to explain, but it looks like they drug their children. Both families appear as typical Wasilla dopes. The Johnstons are the better, but not free from denial. Church nurseries use "medicine" to control babies and there are many ignorant people that approve of that for the convenience. Nothing demeans like raising a child in an ignorant community with rampant drug problems that no one is addressing.

Sarah Palin is the one who has gone out of her way to use each and every one of her children as props, repeatedly. Their lives are an open book because of SARAH. Bristol wants money and fame because her mom says it is awesome to have money and fame. You don't get to choose what people cover once you go down that road and stay on the front pages of magazines because you want to be there. Piper is a casualty of the whorish ambition of Sarah Palin. I suspect she is already damaged. Pointing out that she is merely a prop and baby carrier is not demeaning. It is merely pointing out the sad reality of being unfortunate enough to be born into that family.

ReplyDeleteChildren/teens/products of lesser circumstances don't actively reflect on those circumstances. Trust me. I am adopted and know at least 50 others who are as well. I was the product of a navy rape and I look exactly like my father, yet I don't consider myself that way. I was blessed to be raised by wonderful parents and I have no doubt Bristol loves Tripp and Levi sees him enough for Tripp to know him. Tripp is still pretty young.

Candies produces print ads that make young girls like trollops (an old-fashioned word, it's true - but marginally nicer than ho). Candies confuses the issue of sexual preparedness by their clothes and ads so it shouldn't be much a surprise that Bristol's ad also sends mixed messages.
Parents need to pay more attention what their kids wear and why. It is not unreasonable to set basic limits and standards.

ReplyDeleteYou seem to have a lot of facts about Diane and Track. Since I haven't read about this online can you post the link to the court records? Not a gossip site but the actual criminal charges since her criminal charges can easily be verified.
Also, you speak that Sherry and Sadie would be excellent caregivers? On what are you basing this? Have you met them? Are your a professional who can make those assesments?

Track's court records are sealed because he was a minor when the vandalism on the bus heaters took place.
ReplyDeleteDiana was charged with multiple counts of burglary, and not drug charges. Her record will be expunged once she has completed probation. If you look at her pictures though and compare the November 2008 picture of her and Trig to the May 2009 court pictures, it's easy to see her drug problem messed her up. She was caught stealing because she needed the money for her habit. Her 4 yr. old daughter and an infant were with her at the time of the burglary. Her husband had to come pick them up when she was arrested. They are currently divorcing.
I've noticed SP is not wearing her wedding ring again and Todd is living in a separate location in Palmer. Maybe a secret divorce?
Lastly, the Tripp/Trig custody hearing has been postponed until September because the judge needs to clear his head after his mind was blown.

I have friends who are married, taking precautions, etc., who are surprised. And for the people I know, they didn't plan on it, but wanted it more than an abortion, adjusted, adored the child, and the child feels loved and wanted. There are lots of serendipitous accidents in this world.

Lilybart, not being in legal trouble in Wasilla doesn't mean anything. Sarah and Todd don't have a record. Track was under age. Willow is under age and Juvenile authorities would do anything for her. The judge won't care that Mercedes and Levi had the same high times as Bristol. Tripp's custody is not about grandparents arrest records. Idk what all Levi team is thinking when it comes to custody, except Levi says he wants joint. As it is now, Bristol is trying to look independent and like a hard working young single mother who is doing it all on her own. That would impress a judge. It would not be enough to say that joint custody is not allowed. Levi is not fighting to have it all with Tripp, he wants to share. What matters is the mediation and what they can work out as parenting adults. The sexed up party animal days of old will not go against Bristol or Levi, that is past. If the judge is not bought off and there is nothing more to come up, Levi has a good chance with joint custody. Bristol would have to ask the court if she does not want to allow Tripp to be near Sherry. That would only make Bristol look bad. Sherry does not look like a person that would be of harm to her grandson in anyway, her mistake was bad but look at the whole situation. Sherry will be monitored over the next 5 or so years, she is someone to trust more than grandma Sarah. No one knows what she is actually up to. Looking at grandma Sarah's appearances people do question her sobriety. She has been seen mistreating children in public, if she did not have political clout she would be in jail or someone would have intervened and she would be in rehab.

I think child endangerment was also part of her legal woes. Hers was one of the ugliest bad mother stories. Her young daughter could have been shot dead by a man that was waiting for the burglar with a gun. As a burglar it was routine for Palin to take her child to work. It reminded me of Sarah taking her children to work. Palin children don't go to school, they go to work with a female parent.

Bristol had all the computers cleaned out, the little that people saw, it did paint her as wild and sexually involved with several boys, not only Levi. That comment refers to Bristol's and Sarah's parenting skills, not Piper's actions. The author is asking whether Bristol has provided adequate supervision for her child, or whether she is just dropping him off with her younger sister to watch him (as her mom has always done with her youngest, Trig).

It's getting old in the comments - not just today, but for awhile now. Firefox works flawlessly, but I guess some are not picking that up from the comments so it would help many out if it was posted on the blog itself.
To the posters defending mention of Piper - get over it. I have been careful for over a year to not comment on the children (until Bristol went down her own grifty road at 18). No one would be discussing Piper if Sarah weren't using her child to the nth degree, and you all know it. So move on and find something else to whine about. Good for Spears to show this. It hardly helps impressionable children to understand how they are manipulated, however. Candies gets the young kiddies juices flowing and then Candies tries to undo their evil doing with Bristol preaching "Pause before you Play." Bristol is going full throttle with these scams.
I'm wondering along with everyone one else- where the hell is Trig? I suppose we can take a certain satisfaction that she stopped dragging him around due to intense criticism- namely from these blogs. But I'm a bit worried truth be told. What did she do with the poor child? Who is caring for him while she galavants around the country and Todd participates in "snow races"? Bristol is on the road too and probably has her hands full enough with child #2- no time for #1 that mommy stole from her.

Bristol can give up the TV gig, or get told she's boring. It's her choice.

just a side note re browsers - working for web designers I learned they have a separate set of protocols for IExplorer. I don't exactly know what that means, just that sites working fine on other browsers have to be tweaked for IE.
ReplyDeleteI'm a mac girl with firefox and the site is a bit slower with the upgrades, but I thought there were just more bells and whistles. I can hardly stand huffpo anymore - all the new features make it slow and cumbersome.

Let's see. One kid in the Army because of a history of vandalism and oxycontin abuse. One kid with two babies... so far. One kid pictured out drinking at age 15 and later involved in breaking & entering, underage substance abuse, and major vandalism- charges not pressed after influential parents leaned on the DA.
ReplyDeleteIt's not reaching very far to say that the parents of these kids have not done and are not doing a very good job of parenting. Nor is it stretching too far to say that the other child, admittedly at primary school level, is apt to wind up in trouble. I'm not 100% convinced that Todd has ever been in trouble, but Sarah's skated on the far side of the law for some time now (and without any evidence but Sarah's intermittant manicky episodes, I'm convinced she's doing a little meth. No, I have no proof.). Children learn what they live. Still convinced that Willow's gonna be pregnant in 2010; it doesn't sound like any of them have learned about that contraception-avoiding pregnancy thingie and it sure got Big Sis a lot of attention- picture on People magazine cover and everything.
As far as Trig goes, I have heard it said that he's in Anchorage with Aunt Heather. I don't know how true it is, but if it's true, he's probably better off than he would be with his adoptive family. Although Aunt Heather seems to get used a lot for free day-care- that would piss me off if it was me. I wonder if she's making sure he gets his therapy? Maybe he's in Anchorage because there are better resources for him there? Maybe the extended family realize he's better off away from the Sarah menage?
With all the money she's making, I hope somebody there has the common sense to make sure there's enough stashed away to provide for Trig for the rest of his life. Oh, what am I saying? These are Palins. Caution, forethought, planning, professional financial advice- not a chance.
