Stephen Colbert compares Scientology to the GOP. You know the similarities are stunning.
i must have missed something... if the genesis of obama's health care plan was a mix of the repub answer to clinton-care and mitten's mass plan, how can frum also claim it to be a LIBERAL plan???? makes no sense. sad, coming from a man who appears to have been learning to make sense.
When the GOP shoots the messenger by ostracizing Frum, they do so at their own peril. He was spot on in his analysis of how ham fisted the GOP was in bungling this whole debate. The only way that the GOP can become relevant again is by listening to the few critics from within their own ranks. If the GOP continues following the lead of such tactical geniuses as McConnell, Lott, Boehner, Cantor, and Pence, they are likely to have similar results in the future.
If the GOP continues down the rabbit hole of catering to Goober Nation at the expense everyone else with a functioning frontal lobe, I give it only a couple of years more before it simply self immolates. I see nobody leading them from the wilderness anytime soon.

@ txindygirl -- Frum started his interview last night proudly stating he remains a loyal Republican -- that should have been the first clue.
