From Huffington Post:
Anchorage Alaska-The video on the troopers' website shows the German shepherd running to meet the trooper's vehicle, then racing to the house on Caswell Lakes on April 4.
Troopers say Buddy and his owner, 23-year-old Ben Heinrichs, were in the family workshop when a heater ignited chemicals. Heinrichs told Buddy: "We need to get help.
The dog eventually found a trooper responding to a call about the fire.
Now THAT is an anmial who earned an extra doggy treat or two.

ReplyDeleteMaybe ya'll up in the land of eternal ice and snow should stop electing lying moron people to office and start electing your dogs.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin'...
That was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI hope Buddy got a big ol' steak in his shiny new bowl
hell yeah.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of German Shepherds (along with a beagle and bichon). The GS are the BEST, and smartest dogs out there. BTW, Gasman is right. You'd be better off electing your dogs. :-)
ReplyDeleteGasman & Moon...LMAO!
ReplyDeleteI saw this yesterday and Buddy is such a Brave Boy! Yea!
Alaska has good Dogs, Govs not so much...Gryphen are you going to go watch him get his award?

And he did it barefoot in the freezing cold! Good dog!
ReplyDeleteWhores for big business? Really?
ReplyDeleteHow about just POLITICAL WHORES. BIG BUSINESS supplies over 90% of the state of Alaska's revenue!! Oh, yeah, you do know that Big Business also are who provide the JOBS! Well, except in this state the government is the main employer. That my friends is NOT maintainable!
Just sayin...
GOOD DOGGIE!
ReplyDeleteI hope he likes his treats from the Troopers!
Good boy, Buddy.
ReplyDeleteI love Buddy.
That was a pretty long run. And pretty dangerous, a German Shepherd running in the dark. Someone could have mistaken him for a wolf.
While I'm sure Buddy appreciates the new bowl and any meat that may find it's way into it, all he really wants is a pet and praise from his master, which I'm sure he is getting plenty of.
I just love dogs.
