Nikki Haley: "I did not have sexual relations with that man!" Sarah Palin: "Eeeww of course she didn't, he is one of those disgusting bloggers! Yuck!

Okay so I am sure that many of you have already heard that a certain well known right wing blogger has blabbed to the world that he once did the nasty with South Carolina gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley.

According to Will Folks:

"Yeah I did her!  Hell EVERYBODY did her! So what?"

Wait..I am sorry that was the wrong quote.  Here we go.

The truth in this case is what it is. Several years ago, prior to my marriage, I had an inappropriate physical relationship with Nikki.

That’s it.

Not exactly a Penthouse Forum letter now is it?

However it WAS enough to force a response from the very married Ms. Haley:

"I absolutely did NOT let him gently caress my silken skin with his keyboard hardened fingertips while he gently bit my neck and slowly unbuttoned....oh my is it getting hot in here?"

Whoops, sorry I did it again.  Just where is my head at today?  Here is the actual quote.

I have been 100% faithful to my husband throughout our 13 years of marriage. This claim against me is categorically and totally false.

It is sad, but not surprising, that this disgraceful smear has taken form less than a week removed from the release of a poll showing our campaign with a significant lead. It is quite simply South Carolina politics at its worst.

These attacks - and those sure to follow - are an effort at distraction, but I will keep my focus on what matters, and that is delivering South Carolina's government back to our people. That's a fight I have fought for the last five years. That's why I entered this race for Governor. And that's what I will continue to do, despite any outrageous and false claims that are thrown at me.

So there you have it!  He said he DID make hot, sweet, South Carolina style love to her, and she says that she is married and has ONLY been dutifully servicing her husband's needs for the last thirteen long, long lonely years.

So with two completely different stories, how in the hell could WE possibly discern which one is the truth? I mean they are both right wing nutjobs, and NEITHER of them offers any real proof, so we are left completely unable to figure out which one is the truth teller and which one is the liar.

If ONLY there were some sign from above (or perhaps even from Facebook) that would help us to discern which of these two people to trust.  Hello, what is this?

Well, whaddya know? South Carolina’s conservative candidate, Nikki Haley, recently zipped to the front of the line in her state’s race for governor; and lo and behold, now accusations of an affair surface.

Nikki categorically denies the accusation that was spewed out there by a political blogger who has the gall to throw the stone, but then quickly duck and hide and proclaim he would not comment further on the issue. Quite convenient.

When Nikki and I held her endorsement rally on the steps of the beautiful and historic South Carolina state house a few weeks ago, I warned her and her family that she would be targeted because she’s a threat to a corrupt political machine, and she would be put through some hell. That, unfortunately, is the nature of the beast in politics today – especially for conservative “underdog” candidates who surge in the polls and threaten to shake things up so government can be put back on the side of the people.

South Carolina: don’t let some blogger make any accusation against your Nikki if the guy doesn’t even have the guts or the integrity to speak further on such a significant claim. And don’t believe anything a liberal rag claims or suggests unless the reporter involved has the integrity and the facts to report to you so you can make up your own mind. For traditional media to rely on an accusation via some blog entry is almost laughable, but I know the seriousness of it because that’s exactly what my family and colleagues have had to put up with, every single day, for the past couple of years. (Hmm why does THAT seem so familiar?)

As I said to Nikki this morning, “Hang in there. I’ve been there. Any lies told about you will strengthen your resolve to clean up political and media corruption. You and your supporters will grow stronger through things like this.”

Reaching her from Wasilla, I then joked with Nikki that I was calling her from one of the many locations the lamestream media claims I moved to. (Let’s see, I think the last I heard I was living in the Hamptons, or was it Montana? No, supposedly L.A. is where they claim I moved when I “left Todd” in their idiotic reports.) (Okay now THAT hurts!)

South Carolina friends, don’t let ‘em just make things up. (Isn't that Palin's phrase for when they tell the truth?)

So Sarah Palin, a woman who has demonstrated an almost total disdain for the truth is now supporting Nikki Haley and insisting that SHE is the one who is telling the truth in this situation. Uh huh.

Well you all remember the rules when dealing with Sarah Palin, right kids? "Whatever she says, the opposite must be true!"

So Will Folks, buddy I am sorry I doubted you.  But if Sarah Palin is saying that you are the liar then, unless there is something really fucked up about the universe this week, clearly YOU must be the one telling the truth. 

Congratulations, it is your turn to show the world what an idiot Sarah Palin is.

I know it is exciting at first, but trust me, after awhile it becomes just another job.
