Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Rachel Maddow brilliantly calls out Bill O'Reilly on his, and the Fox network's, use of race baiting.
Rachel hit it spot on. Fox does not only race bait, they use all out smear campaigns to further their agenda even if they ruin someones life. They don't care anything about the facts or the truth. They only care about is destroying the President and anyone in his administration.
Really, now: just how many more times is Fox going to "cry wolf" before even the most dimwitted person begins to realize that if they saw or heard it on that channel, its very probably NOT TRUE!
This is one of the best smackdowns ever. But they at Fauxnews could never internalize this with their thought processes (if there is such a thing) in another sub-dimension.
Rachel, you rock! Faux better be careful about showing clips of her on their shows. If even a small percentage of their watchers get curious about what she's saying and tune in - Faux will lose even more viewers to her. She's rapidly becoming the most respected JOURNALIST in the country. Wow, a real investigative journalist - who knew? =)
Fox can claim there's no blood on their hands because they can say -- and they'd be correct -- that they are not responsible for how viewers respond to their coverage. But indirectly, not only are the both indirectly and ultimately responsible for grooming racial and cultural hatred, but outright murder. Using clever tactics of insinuation and other word-play, they avoid direct responsibility. It's like insinuating to someone that your neighbor is going to rape and eat your children, but never actually telling you to take action about it, then claim that person had nothing to do with it once you did something about it. Fox has no bounds.
Rachel posseses qualities that Bill O'Reilly will never have: self-awareness, a sense of humor and a very cool head. She is truly worthy of the title "Madam".
I saw this too, and I like her responses. Regardless of what ratings FOX has, the fact remains that it is a hate-filled propaganda medium. Ms. Maddow put it all in perspective when she said that she deals with the truth, which is the only thing I personally care about. For too long, FOX has gotten away with hatred, lies, and innuendo in their attempt to destroy this administration. In the process, they tried to make up a phony example of black racism by dogging Shirley Sherrod. If she sued them, or just Breitbart, and won, it would be no more than justice.
Going forward, anyone who chooses to deal with FOX in any capacity needs to verify anything anyone on it says. It's painfully obvious that they are attempting to stoke the flames of racial division by filling susceptible whites with fear and suspicion of blacks. And they don't care about the damage they cause in the process.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Rachel laid him out!
ReplyDeleteBillo is such a douche!
Her response to him was the best! Cleaver and smart. Don't think he can measure up to her...his ego continues to get in the way.
ReplyDeletewow... Rachel pulled the proverbial Ginsu knife and carved up BOR in that clip. PHD versus Wanne-Be.
ReplyDeleteHilarious!! I don't know how Fox people sleep at night - really.
ReplyDeleteBut msnbc got the story wrong as well as most other stations.
