What happens when you inject a little truth into SarahPAC's "Mama Grizzlies" advertisement? Ahh MUCH better!
If you want to show support for the very talented truth teller who put this video together please go here.
You know, it seems to me that "mama grizzlies" are really are not very smart, and in fact, because of their lack of intelligence and understanding, cause an awful lot of collateral damage in their effort to protect their young. Grizzlies are magnificent animals, but there's a lot of people dead and injured because grizzlies only know what they know and act accordingly.
So color me reactionary if I don't like the idea of an elected official being a "mama grizzly." Frankly I expect a little more thought and discernment from my elected officials. What we don't need in Washington is more "instinctive" reaction to perceived threats. We need politicians who take the time to learn about issues, understand their history and context, and take thoughtful, measured action, not knee-jerk, sound-byte reaction because their brains are all amygdala.
Why would mama grizzlies be against healthcare? If you have breast cancer, insurance only covers the first $3million for treatment, to cure breast cancer can cost $5-10 million dollars, chemo is expensive, smart women don't want to be battling an insurance company when they are sick telling them what is covered and what is out of pocket for them. Why wouldn't smart moms want their kids and families covered by healthcare that won't turn you down for treatment and you won't have to lose your house to pay for healthcare.
I encourage everybody to help this to go viral. And you don't have to link to this blog, it would be just fine with me if you linked directly to the YouTube site.
It might be time for DEMS to create a Family Values statement.
1) families should make all decisions regarding reproductive issues, not the Gov 2) affordable healthcare is a family issue 3) affordable quality education for all 4) the world and business needs to work for people first, sure drill, but there has to be regulation and plans for disaster.
You've got to love the way she pauses, and puts extra emphasis on the word "adverse" - sounds almost like she doesn't know what it means, but dagnabbit, it must be important!
The bonus clips at the end help remind everyone what a total airhead she was (and still is).
Anon 6:22 I like your thinking! An additional value statement to summarize is that what seperates humans from animals is humans think and don't react on primative pure animal instincts choosing violence or shoot down other humans.
Seriously, I believe Sarah and her PAC made a huge mistake leaving her wide open Palin debased females to animals, all one needs is instinct and zero knowledge, processing of information etc. Chris Matthews made a point he and others consider "competency" as power. People can wield a gun or shoot their mouth of attacking others which is a physical bullying power. Palin exemplifies returning humanity to the cave of prehistoric times.Leadership requires much more than a mama grizzly protecting her cubs!
The rest of us need to get the correct information to people about health care reform. Palin lies it is the opposite to 1-deny and deprive medical trestment and 2-to murder people with health problems due to age or genetic defects. Controlling what people believe sucks people into Palin's web and turns them into unthinking attackers duped sint Sarah is going to save them from danger Sarah invented intilling terror in people. That's an evil thing to do to people and to boot take their money too.
Those lily white females in the SarahPac tripe are not brown like a grizzly. They are the color of the polar bears. The part about pink elephants is a better metaphor for Palinbots.
This is totally O/T except it's hilariously funny and it shows the mentality of at least one Mama Grizzly.
We live in FL. I have 3 grandkids, ages 9, 10 & 11. At a family get-together, the kids were listening to a 30 year old (female) who was talking about the Everglades. She said "the Everglades were a mountain range". All three of the kids said "NO the Everglades is a swamp". The woman argued with them. Everybody starting laughing at her. That very conservative / Republican lady is an attorney. hahaha
I have listened to this twice now. I know... It sounds like she's reading the dialogue right off a script. There is nothing in her voice that sounds like she understands or believes what is coming out of her mouth. Must be where Bristol gets her acting talent.
I keep watching it over and over. I love the people who were out with the signs. More of us need to make signs and have them ready to use. I guess we are going to need them. It is too bad that it takes a while for people to get to know her well enough to realize what a fake and danger she is to our country.
Mercede has answered reader questions about the Palin family, criticized Bristol Palin's posts on a Facebook page under a pseudonym and aired a variety of general complaints on her blog. She's asked for contributions via PayPal, too.
ABC Nightly News with Diane Sawyer ran a piece about SP's Grizzly Mama video, and the reporter said something like, "...the former Alaska Governor and mother of FOUR..." blah blah blah.. . I didn't hear the rest of the sentence because I was loudly shouting OOHHH SNAP at the TV. Which child is the reporter "forgetting"?? I'll see if I can find the link and post it here.
The media was asking for Sarah Palin's response and she is silent. No one cares that she is ignoring his apology. Only to have media outlet make a big deal that he did apologize, or at least someone did for him.
Yeah Sarah, we know how tough you are. Is that why you needed Toad as your co-Governor? Is that why you always need Piper, Willow, or Trig on the road with you? Is that why you had to build that atrocious fence? Is that why you need body guards around when you go to the Beauty Parlor? Is that why Van-Flea is always in the picture? Is that why you denied Joe from bidding on your lunch date? Is that why you find it necessary to control the local newspaper? Is that why you are against facing the press? Is that why you hide behind Twitter and Faceless-book? Is that why you won't produce Trig's birth certificate? Yeah,Sarah, I can be your actions that you're such a courageous and intimidating force. Grizzly my ass. I think your new meme should be gears toward the cowardly lion!!
Who wants to be associated with a woman who: barely worked as a govenor and let her husband act for her, used the people's money for her own gains and now uses PAC money for her personal needs, breaks all laws and societal rules, didn't write her book but claims she did to make millions off her idiot fans, has burned every professional and personal relationship she's ever had due to her evil, selfish ways, sends her "hounds of hell" out to attack anyone who disagrees with her, is completely hypocritical, and is a pathological liar?
As a New Yorker in Alaska, I had to send this article to friends as a response to Palin's mama grizzly video. What do Alaskans do with an angry mama bear??? Shoot it.
By BECKY BOHRER JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - You might call it Sarah Palin's introduction to the cubs. A biography of the former Alaska governor and self-described "mama grizzly" is set for release in September by Christian book publisher Zondervan.
"Speaking Up: The Sarah Palin Story," is one in a series of biographies aimed at 9- to 12-year-old readers. Others feature 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and U2 frontman Bono.
Kathleen Kerr, an acquisitions editor for Zondervan's Zonderkidz division, said the subjects are prominent figures who children hear about in the news and role models for tweens who are "working for the betterment of the world in which we live and who are motivated primarily by their Christian faith."
Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, has often referred to her faith and what she sees as her calling to public service. Palin has credited God with readying her heart for the birth of her youngest child, Trig, who has Down syndrome. At one time, Palin said, she wasn't sure if she would be patient enough, but those doubts dissipated when he was born.
The biography by Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Zondervan is unauthorized. Author Kim Washburn said she was unable to interview Palin and didn't speak with anyone close to her.
A Palin aide did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment Friday.
Washburn said she researched previously published material, including Palin's best-selling memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life," and news articles, many of which Washburn said were "really polarized" and complicated her efforts to focus more on the personal side of Palin than on the political side.
She said she was struck by Palin's work ethic and her independent streak - something she believes will resonate with young girls.
Kerr said the book begins with Palin's childhood in Alaska and shows that "with guts, character, determination and unwavering faith in God, even an ordinary person can change the world."
There are aspects of Palin's life that the book shies away from. For example, Kerr said, there's no mention of her teenage daughter Bristol Palin's pregnancy.
Bristol Palin was thrust into the national spotlight while her mother was seeking the vice presidency. Bristol Palin's son Tripp was born in December 2008, when she was 18, and she has gone on to speak about the virtues of abstinence and the challenges of life as a young, single mom.
"We tried to stay away from the super-heavy stuff," Kerr said.

HA!! Perfect! I had to turn the sound off too. Sick of her lying, screechy voice.

ReplyDeleteSarah Palin doesn't represent THIS woman. Never has and never will.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bristol Palin, for showing us how youthful mistakes and irresponsibility can turn into a financial windfall
ReplyDeleteIf motherhood is Palin’s main qualification for higher office, then she’s obligated to represent it honestly –

ReplyDeleteSo goes the Wasilla, Alaska, version of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," though all has been relatively silent on the Palin parent front, with only a couple of tweets and no Facebook edicts from Sarah for nearly a week.
Gryph, what is your take on why no tweets from Sarah?
