The good news for Levi Johnston is that he is NOT the worst thing about this video. The bad news is that he is even IN this video!

I think we can all agree that it is always best for Levi to be seen and not heard, but you would at least think he knew how to make out with a woman better than that!
And please tell me that is the sound of two cats fighting and NOT this woman's voice.

ReplyDeleteIt might help to be able to sing if you are going to call yourself a singer. WOW that chick is bad. Luckily for Levi, he is good looking. At least he is able to show some emotion with his face, unlike his ex. He did OK, lame story line and really bad song, but if he can pay some bills, can ya blame him? He reminds me of a puppy with big paws, dumb as a brick but cute. Get some smarts, Levi, with an education, you can go anywhere.

ReplyDeleteI think Levi was kinda cute in this. He can act a hell of a lot better than Bristol the Brisket, who reminds me of a inert, sulky walrus being dragged around the stage by Mark Ballas.
Levi is such a fish out a water and he's not that good looking. His head is HUGE. Poor Tripp, he has two biological parents with huge heads. Brittani may be the worst singer and performer since...time began? My ears are bleeding. My eyes regret watching that. badbadbad AND it doesn't make sense.

ReplyDeleteI don't think levi did badly. he didn't do much of anything really. but I do like the storyline of mamma using law enforcement/tax payer funded government entities for her own purposes. it's kinda funny that the song is supposed to be about the girl's situation, but in real life probably reflects the truth of levi's situation.
I've seen and heard better. Levi seems lost, even in the cuddling scenes.
ReplyDeleteThe acting is not well done nor is the plot truly reflective of the manipulative, spiteful and downright silly antics of Sarah. Too bad, I was looking for something more realistic. Oh, well.
The vocalist is pretty and her voice might be better suited to a different song. This is not a song I would want to try to sing. It is not a song I want to hear again either.
There is nothing there that should have upset Bristol. That's the major problem, though: there is nothing there.
I wouldn't call it an epic fail. After all, that wouldn't leave room to evaluate Bristol's next dance.

ReplyDeleteYes it is. Listening to Brittani Senser "warble" one basic line over and over and OVER again is not my idea of lyrics, and her singing voice is comparable to some of the rejects on American Idol.
And if she's 24 years old, so am I.
I think Levi is the best part of this video. I don't think he did bad at all given the stuff he had to work with.

Levi may have qualified for a Hollywood Star on the sidewalk... right next to Bristol's star.
Rumor in Wasilla is Bristol will open a dance studio... oops, it may just be a dunce studio.
Gryphen, you ARE being too hard on Levi. He is definitely the best part of that lame video. The singer is replusive and looks almost as old as the woman playing her mother. Levi will never win an academy award, but he IS a better actor than Bristol, and even if he weren't, he's just plain cute, so it doesn't really matter.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the video, Levi was left standing out in the rain, just where he always ends up every time he hooks up with Bristol. He must be used to it by now.
Maybe I'm just being clueless -- but was it implying that the cop was under the mom's control (like Sarah controls local police)? Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason for him to pull Levi out of the car.
ReplyDeleteI think the song is pretty good, although I'm a rock/alternative rock afficionnado...Her voice is just like lots of those R&B artists, that's they style of that genre....Levi looks fantastic. He's tender, sexy, loving....what screen idols are made of. I don't think this was a bad move at all. Def. much better than Playgirl. He's an amazing-looking guy.

Mom got it that Grifter Granny wasn't pregnant with the square pillow and the leaning over the kid with the square tag. I can find the unflattering floral dress from the spring, but would like to show mom that the grifting, lying nut didn't fall far from the tree.

Come on folks, we NEED Levi to succeed and continue to be a burr in the Palin's side!! The more he is in the limelight, the more it burns ol' witchey poo Palin and that is what makes this whole sad, sad little drama worth watching!

I thought the video was okay, but I don't have a lot of expectations for R&B singers from Minnesota.
What I got out of the video is that mama had him pulled out of the car for no reason, he had to sign something saying he couldn't see the girl anymore, once it was signed, the cop left. Girl was broken-hearted and angry that he gave her up to save himself from being thrown in jail. Mama won. May be Levi's story.
ReplyDeleteLevi is a cute kid. He has a certain charm about him. There's been far worse looking kids who have sort of made it in movies. Talent isn't always a necessity at least for boys. With girls - well without talent, without beauty then it may be tougher. I don't expect Levi to have a career in Hollywood though. He better use some of his money and get some education.

ReplyDeleteThe only bad acting on Levi's part is that he doesn't look too upset when the policeman pins him down on the truck.
As for the song, well I generally hate that style of singing, but there are plenty of others in that style. Must be people that like it.

Moreover, the story in the video made no sense. Unless Levi was drug dealing pedophile with about three different STDs, why was the mother so upset? And those "slaps" in the face. What a disappointment! If you're going to make a video of yourself getting slapped, woman-up and take a real slap (see, e.g., Fay Dunaway in Chinatown).
And the "policeman"? What the hell is he doing, unless maybe Levi is like 30 and the girl singing the song is 14? And no clubbing with the riot stick, or punches to the head? COME ON! Just a little clunk of the head of the hood? Please--if I wanted to watch the Care Bears, I'd be watching the Care Bears.
Then the mom comes out and "serves" Levi with a restraining order? Okay--except parties can't serve documents like that. And what would be the basis for the restraining order?
Finally, you're served with a restraining order, and the first thing you do is call the person you're restrained from having contact with, and in front of a police officer?
And the singing/music was hideous.
Now that I think on it, this video is worse than David Brent's.
