More hypocrisy from Palin "butt boy" Joe Miller. Shocked! That's what I am, shocked that anybody associated with Sarah Palin would turn out to be a hypocrite!

From the Alaska Dispatch:

U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller confirmed Monday night that his wife -- once hired to work as a part-time clerk for the same Alaska court in which he was serving as a U.S. magistrate judge -- went on unemployment after she left the job.

Miller is running on a self-described constitutional conservative platform, arguing that the nation must return to the principles and powers penned by the founding fathers to save it from bankruptcy. Putting an end to entitlements on a national level and empowering states has been a key message in his campaign.

In the weeks leading up to the admission about his wife's unemployment history, Miller has finessed his message on unemployment benefits, saying he's not opposed to them but that they should be managed by the states -- not the feds.

While employment records exist for Joe, they were not immediately available for Kathleen, who was not listed among the court's former employees, according to an Oct. 1 e-mail from Richard Carelli, a spokesman for the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. Carelli said he plans to have information available Tuesday.

Carelli has since explained that "part-time magistrate judges often use employees from their law practice to do court work, and that those employees are compensated by the magistrate judge's court."

Halcro and other Miller critics have suggested Miller was forced to fire his wife, calling the couple's working relationship a form of nepotism prohibited by court policies at the time.

So let me see if I have this straight.  Mr. "Unemployment benefits are unconstitutional" hired his own wife to work for him while he was a part-time Federal Magistrate judge, and MAY have had to FIRE her go because it was illegal to have hired her in the first place, BUT was still perfectly willing to have her collect unemployment benefits from the state for the work she was NOT supposed to have been doing for him?

And people are still willing to vote for this guy?

Seriously Alaska have you learned nothing from Sarah Palin's half term as our governor?

You can support a REAL Alaskan running for this office, with actual ethics, by clicking here.

Would someone please check to see if Joe had his dog on payroll also.

IRS needs to check to see if Joe gave his dog a SSN and is claiming him as a dependent on his income taxes.

Undeclareds and Independents: A vote for Lisa, is a vote for Joe. Please vote for McAdams. I've lived in Alaska since 1975 (25 years old when I moved here) and have voted both parties. McAdams is the best candidate. Don't think "party"...... think Alaska!!

The "It's about Alaska" theme seems has struck home for Scott McAdams, who announced this weekend that his campaign raised a whopping $650,000 since the primary.

  4. I'm sure he didn't fire her, but laid her off. Under the rules then, if someone is fired, they have to wait 10 weeks to begin collecting. If laid off, they can begin in two weeks or less. Can't imagine the Millers waiting ten weeks to collect their unconstitutional $$$$$. Not like them at all.

I just got a $$-raising message from Joe this morning referring to Lisa as his "failed opponent." Jerk-- she has a name! I think he is a failed winner in that election with what-- 7% of the eligible voters voting for him?

The only thing worse than a sore looser is a sore "winner."

Vote McAdams, who choses his words wisely. Make Scott more senatorial. Let Romy worry about the tie and vote for Scott McAdams!

During prohibition, people were arrested for violating that particular Constitutional Amendment. If Miller, a lawyer, truly believed welfare of any kind to be unconstitutional, then he knew full well that he and his wife were breaking the law by accepting money from an unconstitutional program.

Furthermore, if his wife was fired for cause - because of questions of nepotism for instance - then she would NOT be entitled to unemployment benefits. If Miller falsified documents indicating that his wife should receive benefits to which she was not entitled then he is guilty of fraud as well. At the very least, he benefited monetarily from programs which he has declared to be unconstitutional, he aided and abetted his felon wife in obtaining these funds, AND he has committed fraud in order to obtain this illegal money.

If Miller is truly the law abiding citizen he claims to be, he and his wife should IMMEDIATELY surrender to authorities for their acts which according to Miller’s own definition are criminal. He should also IMMEDIATELY refund all illegal funds which he and his wife received. Otherwise it appears that Miller is just a posturing fraud whose hyperbolic lies are merely to inflame the ‘bagger mob.

Which is it Miller? Are you a felon or a liar?

Look at her resume over at Wickersham's Conscience. If you graph it out, it doesn't compute. She is working part-time while she is working full-time WHILE she is also home-schooling her kids.

Goodness, who knew Joe Miller married Wonder Woman, she who is capable of stretching time.

And did you hear that at a Fairbanks town hall, he said he would support repeal of the 17th amendment that allows the citizens to elect their US Senators? If this was actually repealed, it would mean state legislators would appoint them instead.

This man is just flatout hideous. He's truly the Freeper Candidate.

MIller should be disbarred for being an ignr'nt.
The Constitution specifically gives the power to the Government to do anything it considers to be for the common good.
That want the founders specifically put into the Constitution.

The preamble to the Constitution states:

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

    Article 1, Section 8 states:

"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States."

It don't get more clearer than that.
