This is what the lunatic said on Glenn Beck radio program the day before Thanksgiving:
GLENN: But the one thing that my wife and I were talking about is the exposure of your family. And I know the press has exposed the family, but you don't seem to have a problem with that. What do you think the effect of all of this is on your kids?
SARAH PALIN: Well, I'm just dealing with reality knowing that they're not going to let up until the collective will of the people is to remind the press that kids should be off limits. And in our case that just isn't happening yet. So I deal with the reality as it is and remind my kids that maybe in our culture there's not a lot of justice in terms of kids being left alone to just be kids and make mistakes but learn as they go and overcome challenges, you know. My kids have the same story as every other kid in this world.
GLENN: But my kids are left alone. I mean, but I just don't, I don't ever, ever put them in front of a camera. You know, anybody takes a picture of my kids, I go all TSA on them.
SARAH PALIN: Yeah, here's the deal. Here's the deal, what we got ourselves into, I guess, was there on the national stage, literally there at the GOP convention when I, being so proud of my family, bringing them on stage like every other politician has done since the beginning of time, being charged then with exploiting my kids and here I'm looking around going, wait, every other candidate, every male candidate brings their family on stage, proverbially and literally. So having done that. And then from there just sort of a different standard that's been applied in terms of the accusations that there's been exploitation or using the kids for whatever. Then, Glenn, having to correct the record and try to change the narrative into what the truth is about my family. So constantly being on defense and having to sort of counterattack the things that they say. That's the position that we're in.
Now here is Andrew Sullivan's extremely appropriate response:
Where to start? Her first decision was agreeing to run for vice-president with a months' old child with Down Syndrome and a pregnant teenage daughter. You do that, your kids will be at least somewhat in the public eye. But she blindsides the campaign with the teen pregnancy, puts out her own press release about it the Saturday before the convention, and in the same chaotic weekend, the campaign also has to deal with the bizarre details of her one-month public pregnancy and bi-continental, airplane labor with Trig. Anyone one who genuinely cared about the privacy of her kids would have either said no or been extremely careful to release the information as soberly as possible.
And what happens thereafter? She pushes her daughter into a public spotlight, subsequently making her an abstinence advocate, and supporting her appearance on a reality show. She engages in a public family spat with the father of her grandson, Tripp. And she parades a special needs infant in front of the press, dangles him half-naked in front of book tour crowds, uses him constantly as a rhetorical campaign prop, and cites him at almost every speech to appeal to pro-life voters. She also uses her son, Track, to appeal to veterans and the military. She brings her children with her throughout her now two-year campaign for national office, disturbing their schooling and rendering them vulnerable to further inquiry from the tabloids, even as they strike deal(s) with tabloids for their own stories.
Exactly! Sarah Palin uses her children as both a lure to attract positive media attention and a shield to deflect critical media attention. And her schizophrenic response to media attention directed at ehr family is perhaps one of the most troubling aspects of her personality.
You can read more of Sullivan's take down of the Grizzled Mama by clicking the link, and I advise that you do so because it is a thing of beauty. (And if you can stomach it you can also click the link to the Glenn Beck interview, it is just chock full of the crazy, including the now famous North Korea gaffe.)
To which Sarah Palin replied:
ReplyDeletehttp://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lcer316qH81qzv6yvo1_500.gif
Palin is guilty is absolutely everything she accuses others of. And she is not a Mama Grizzly, she's a SOW who doesn't care for her own kids unless they are helping her scam more people.
ReplyDeleteWhether Sarah does not see her hypocrisy or does and continues to use her children so that she can continue to whine about their exposure, says volumes about her mental and emotional make up.
ReplyDeleteShe is sociopathic. She a Mamma Griz from Hell.
I keep going back to Bertold Brecth's "Mutter Courage," placed during the 30 years war, in which the protagonist mother ignores her children to death in her pursuit of survival.
Sarah is even worse. She uses her children and ignores them in her pursuit of satiating her vanity.
good post by andrew. I am especially glad that he's also added the "kids were saying bad things about her little brother" to the list of lies.
ReplyDeleteFitting that $P compares herself to a mamma grizzlys ~ the ironic thing is they abandon their young after a couple of years. Palin is appearing in my town next week. I thought about bringing her a MISS YOU card and signing it from her kids. My children are eight and nine and they LOVE being with their parents. Her poor kids have no chance at a normal life.
ReplyDeleteSP quote: "every male candidate brings their family on stage, proverbially and literally"
ReplyDeleteWTF??? What does being "on stage proverbially" mean? This woman is an idiot.
And it's quite astounding how she can speak in paragraphs without ever inserting a subject or verb in her sentences...she speaks in nonstop run-on clauses. And then, when she does manage to stick a subject in, there's no verb, and whenever she uses verbs she uses them in the wrong tense and mixes u up her tenses so they are completely inconsistent
.If this is how she writes she would have gotten a big fat "F" on every single paper she wrote throughout high school and during her alleged college career (perhaps that's why she had to leave every college she went to after only a semester or two.) Her speaking is less grammatical than an 8th grader's--truly. A grammar professor would have a field day. .....and this woman has an alleged degree in 'communictations'? ?????in 'journalism"???????
BS BS, BS, this woman is illiterate and stupid.
I think the only thing her brain is capable of doing is absorbing phrases she's heard other people say (without fully comprehending them)---and that has given her a few big vocabulary words that she throws in ad libitum anytime she talks ("proverbial"?)
So to those even less educated than her, she speaks in long complicated sentences and throws in big words that are out of context and mean nothing...and occasionally makes up words, of course. So to those too uneducated to see that she doesn't make sense, they are wowed by her (intimidated because if you asked them to explain what she said at any given time I bet none of them could do it since what she said rarely makes sense or has a logical stream of thought).
But it's astounding. Somebody in the media needs to find proof of her alleged degree in communications that took flitting thru 5 colleges--including community colleges where, let''s face it--offers a minimal level of education. I would bet big money that she failed more than economics or whatever it was she admitted to--I bet she failed a lot more and she also does not have a degree. Someone needs to do some serious digging and see if she's beefed up and lied about her resume like Christine O'Donnell did.

@2:05, I guess your link should make me laugh, but it just makes me feel tired. Why was this idiot pushed as a VP candidate? Why does the media of the United States of America pretend to regard her as a viable Presidential candidate?
ReplyDeleteIn short, what in God's name is going on?
You have to wonder if one of the plusses of having Bristol on DWTS was that Mama Grifter would be able to muscle-in and get some attention for herself.
ReplyDeletePerfectly done!
ReplyDeleteThis should be 'headline status' and so easily fact-checked to be a most honest assessment of this deranged woman.
Thank you Gryph for posting it and huge thank you to Andrew Sullivan for saying it so well.
WTF? That was so much double talk, the words literally ran over themselves as she was saying them.
ReplyDeleteWell, kudos to Glenn Beck, because I didn't even know he had kids. Never saw them, don't know their ages, or even how many he has. Sarah NEVER responded to the question. She's a dolt, and her use of her children borders on abuse. It is criminal
Wait...was Glenn Beck calling her out for pimping her children? If so, that's one thing I can actually like him for.
ReplyDelete*watches hell begin to freeze*
Bristol has sold how many personal stories, interviews and pictures to People, Us Weekly, etc. about her personal life--and made HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of dollars doing so--and about things as hugely personal as her romance breakup, fights with her ex, her school situation, her sex life and subsequent baby, etc.
ReplyDeleteAnd she and Willow are in various states of undress (short shorts, tight revealing slutty clothes in public, on TV, at photoshoots and on stages and political speeches or her mother's book tours, etc.---and they are all asking for PRIVACY???? As Willow would say, HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!!
I've never seen one mean comment written about Trig, Tripp or Piper other than to feel sorry for how Sarah Palin uses and abuses her children. So if anything the three younger ones are getting support from those criticize their mother.
Trig, without all the special-needs education he clearly needed as do all Down's kids--but never got because he was half-clothed in outdoor rallies in freezing weather so his mom could hold him up for her fans to entice them to buy her book and get pictures with him.....he has clearly suffered and been setback forever from this.
Piper, must be the last in her class--when she ever is in class that is. CAn she read? Can she write? How many grades has she had to fail---oh, if she's 'home schooled' I guess that solves that problem. She can be in 3rd grade for 3 years straight and no one would ever know.
Track is probably the only one that deserves to be left alone--he certainly asks for no attention like Bristol and Willow who are begging to be as public as their mother is. Although of course if he really is up to criminal and drug no good, then he should have to do the time and take responsibility for his actions--rather than get a cushy desk job in the army, instead of going to jail, and Willow should get same criminal charges as the guys that she vandalized the house with. What's that about personal responsibility Sarah?
These poor kids--if anything, the public scrutiny is probably the only chance they have of throwing back the covers, turning on the light and exposing the abuse they are all under. Clearly the friends and family of SP are co-dependant enablers (or just scared by her threats of 'ruining' them. But media investigation into how abused these children are is probably the best thing that can ever happen to them. Someone needs to call child-protective services about Trig and Piper for sure, and probably Tripp--Bristol is probably doing what she can to not repeat the abuse--but as a victim and clearly a young adult now turning into the same hate-filled vengeance-seeking blamer as her mome ..well Tripp's emotional well-being doesn't bode so well either....
Alaska people--why are you not helping this family by exposing all this abuse?

Andrew has truly delivered a statement of truth and clarity. And this truth is a thing of beauty about the ugliness that is Sarah Palin.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless Gryphen and God Bless Andrew Sullivan!
ReplyDelete...I'm looking around going, wait, every other candidate, every MALE candidate brings their family on stage, PROVERBIALLY and literally...
ReplyDeleteThree things wrong here:
1) This is only part of a long, meandering sentence.
2) Notice how she is playing the sexism card again.
3) Doesn't have a CLUE what "proverbially" means...in spite of her alleged intimacy with scripture. YOU MEAN FIGURATIVELY, YOU DOPE!!!!!
I won't even get into the lack of noun/ pronoun agreement.
Never in my 50 years have I witnessed ANY politician of any party use every aspect of his or her children's lives, including potentially painful, embarrassing issues, to further their careers in the brazen, careless way that Sarah Palin has done.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin is surely the most reckless and self-serving female politico of any time.
This is H-I-Larious! Sullivan Admits Trig Is Palin’s Son-”Trig Truther” Conspirators In Despair
ReplyDeleteHere's is "admission":
Yes, she left her two-year-old with Down Syndrome after a “worrisome” operation to campaign half the world away the next day, to save a far right candidate who lost.
http://sarahpalininformation.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/sullivan-admits-trig-is-palins-son-trig-truther-conspirators-in-despair/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
She's always talking, "attack" and "defense". It's a pretty sad world for a person that constantly thinks she's being attacked. She has no idea what normal is. The only reason she uses her kids is to put a shield in front of her to keep from being found out how utterly stupid she is. "Keep talking about the kids" cause I ain't got anything of substance to talk about"!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't want people talking about your kids, quit dragging them all over the country. I even wrote her a letter a year ago telling her this. Needless to say, it was never answered.
ReplyDeleteThe same could be said about her silly TV show.
I am so sick of the media's love affair with this miserable excuse for a woman. If you people ever put her in as president, the whole world will be at risk. Please THINK about it.
Did you see her latest tweet? INSANE!
ReplyDeleteAmerica by Heart book signing in Tulsa tonight!Thankful 4 Thanksgiving break so my girls can meet & greet great Americans w/me on book tour.
Piper is never in school. Willow is home schooled because she fell so far behind. We all know about Bristol quitting.
It's funny, practically the only thing that spews from her vial mouth is scipted rhetoric or meaningless dribble on Fox News. She will not defend any of her statements because most are so simplistic they are indefensible. Almost anybody could be president if all it takes is "common sense" It if FAR more complicated than that. The irony being that only the dimwitted beleive it is that simple.
ReplyDeleteFor the most part she is ignored until she makes a totally stupid statement of gaffe. That is the only newsworthy things she or her simple minded family are capable of doing. Then it's straight to "victim status".
If Sarah Palin actually involved herself in her children's lives, the children would be worse off.
ReplyDeleteChildren of sociopaths do survive, grow up and the lucky ones find the inner strength to overcome their parent's pyschosis.
Anonymous @ 2:30 I'd like to know more about Sarah's college experience too. I do know of students who've been passed through in the hopes that they don't embarrass the university too much after graduation. I personally know one such illiterate woman- the deal was we'll let you have a degree, but we won't let you come back for an advanced degree.
ReplyDeleteBut OUCH! that community college comment was a bit harsh. Because CCs have open enrollment (anyone can go) doesn't mean the courses are "minimal" level. Students who are unprepared have to take developmental/remedial courses but those that are well prepared receive excellent instruction in college level courses - microbiology, differential equations, organic chemistry.... My son completed four years at a very pricey university where many courses were taught by grad students or foreign visiting profs. He's taking community college courses now "to learn something".
Sorry, seriously OT but that hit a nerve.
Will you run out of this stupid shit that fills space or will your audience just get sick of it first. I'm betting on the latter.
ReplyDeleteAnon at 3:14 He said "son" not "the kid she gave birth to". An adopted child would be her son.
ReplyDeleteHow's that critical thinking workin' out for you?
Pushing all modesty aside, I think I'm a rather keen observer of Palin and feel I have a pretty good understanding for who she really is underneath the false image.
ReplyDeleteYet there's one thing I seriously wonder: while I know she must be aware that she's a relentless liar, does she herself truly believe that she's a victim?
So she spent the beginning of the week talking about how the press abuses her kids and misunderstands them and then she brings her 2 girls to the book signing.
ReplyDelete"Pride" in children without the common sense to raise them with the right values = the Palin family.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Andrew. Thanks for telling us, Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteSullivan brings clarity to the warped Palin world in the way he always does. Very impressive post. You guys who aren't afraid to stand up to that dumb bully are awesome. Keep up the great work! I plan to join the blogging crew soon myself.
ReplyDelete@ 3:14
ReplyDeleteSeriously? That's your 'clever' retort? You don't give a rat's ass she left the kid post-op, and you can chortle about this?
Tool!
Anon 3:14 said, "This is H-I-Larious! Sullivan Admits Trig Is Palin’s Son-”Trig Truther” Conspirators In Despair"
ReplyDeleteAndrew called Trig Sarah's son because for all practical purposes he is. It would have been more clear if he had said Palin's adopted son or Palin's grandson.
Andrew was speaking "proverbially"
(as Sarah would say.)
Um Anonymous @3:14? Saying Trig is her son is not the same as saying she gave BIRTH to that son. Big difference. You are chortling up the wrong tree.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all ANONYMOUS 3:14 PM. Yeah, you. You read both Gryphen and Sullivan's posts and the only thing you got out of it was to say that Sullivan admits that Trig is Sarah's son ? All I can say is you're an IDIOT, A MIND-NUMBINGLY STUPID EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING. Thank you. Now go back to your village.
ReplyDeleteAnon 3:14
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, Trig is Sarah's child, now--adopted or otherwise. Sullivan didn't say"birth" child and the fact that he believes that Trig is not Palin's natural child is unsaid and accepted by people who read Sullivan.
You are a bit---shall I say it, stupid and sad. Are you a Palin relative by chance?
If Palin thinks she has it tough now, just wait should she announce that she'll run for the highest national office (God forbid!). I personally think she'll be ripped apart and the world will see how inept she truly is.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the younger children of the family. Once Piper is in her preteens (think she is 9 now), we will begin to see the damage that has been done to her. She has to be horribly behind in school which is totally the fault of her parents.
I just went into a walmart outside of Cleveland. A kiosk with books at a great discount had been set out for Black Friday. Most of the books had been completely sold out or only one or two were remaining tonight after the rush to get bargains. However there appeared to be one book no one had bought as it's pile was still very large. Yes you are right-Sarahs new book. It definately was NOT "flying out" of the store. Walmart will have to discount it much more to try to entice these people up here to spend money on it.
ReplyDeletePaylins family is suffering from the narcissist's need for attention. They are her narcissist supply but the adoring crowds are even more alluring to her. This is a terribly fucked up family. Drunk, drugged, knocked up, dropped out kids are NOT the by-product of good parenting. Momma is too busy staring in the mirror to notice the pain and suffering she's caused in her own home. She will only bring collective suffering to her country and the world if given even an once of power.
ReplyDeleteGlenn Beck actually told the $OW that if his children were approached he would go all TSA on the perps. Wow.
ReplyDeleteAnd she still self-justifies.
Does she know her hero, Hillary Clinton, as First Lady, kept her young daughter out of the news? Wow.
No one sane would pimp their 19-year old pregnant daughter on DWTS under any circumstances.
This is clear $P is close to implosion.
Holy skunk bumpit! She looks old and scary with her beehive so overdone, it's obnoxious. What is she wearing, lingerie under her sweater?
ReplyDeleteShe's constantly trying to keep all her skeletons in the closet and is sounding crazier every day. Yet wasn't she recently blabbing about being a journalism major (knowing the what, when and why of things)and growing up with teachers, and that those "facts" made her smarter and more capable than the critical lamestream media?
I'm so glad Andrew picked up on this story and he did his usual superb job (though not as funny as IM).
ReplyDeleteI can't tell if Beck was critically challenging Sarah's overexposure of her children or giving her an agreed upon lead-in to explain why she HAS to put her kids in the public eye. Beck didn't question her nonsensical, perverted explanation.
How long will it be before Willow becomes an anti-bullying advocate?
Dear $arah,
ReplyDeleteIf you don't want "your" children to receive any media attention STOP PROSTITUTING THEM TO MAKE MONEY you stupid TWAT!
If you continue to seek PROFIT off of your "family" expect criticism.
Hi anon @3:14 - I get that you're making fun of the website, I don't know what's wrong with some of these commenters. The fact that you put "admission" in quotes was the tell.
ReplyDeleteAs I tried to read Palin's conversation with Beck, I got increasingly more confused. Then I realized her speech does not convert very well from audio to print. The lack of sentence structure is bad enough, but she drifts all over. There is structure no continuity, just random phrases. She has mastered the theater art of gibberish. But she's on a different stage. Maybe the political stage has finally descended from lies to gibberish.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Anon@2:30PM.
ReplyDeleteBoo hoo I'm a woman and that is why my bad kids are picked on. Never mind they constantly get into trouble like cutting school brake lines or break and enter into houses or call fellow Alaskan faggots or get pregnant while still in high school or attack elderly Alaskan school teachers in front of a cell phone camera or seen doing drug deals while I preach christian family values.
ReplyDeleteBoo F-king Hoo Sarah.
In her own words, she doesn't need to "sit down and shut up" ..... she can stand if she wants.
ReplyDeletePalin's latest tweet!
ReplyDeleteAmerica by Heart book signing in Tulsa tonight!Thankful 4 Thanksgiving break so my girls can meet & greet great Americans w/me on book tour.
Truth be told Sarah, you are thrilled to have your girls with you instead of them being home alone in your bed staining your sheets with the boys in Wasilla. Having your girls at your book signing is what you call birth control.
Spot on Mr. Sullivan! You summed that up nicely.
ReplyDeleteRe: Glenn Beck. Both he and O'Reilly do not appear to be fans of the grizzled one as there have several times when both have set her up for a smack down. Beck is clever and O'Reilly is smart. Palin is neither and doesn't belong in their 'league' if you will so I think both make a point of taking her down a notch or two periodically just to remind her she's not the 'Queen of Fox'.
WOnderful cartoon!
ReplyDeleteAnon 2:14 - You are right on!
Can we all stop dwelling on the Paylin and just call her out? People have to start telling the truth!
So this means no one will be counting on baby pix as a source of income?
ReplyDeleteGagirly @ 4:22
ReplyDeleteAs a village raised Alaskan, I take offense at your dismissal of the troll.
Wasilla or most places in the Valley breed those provincial philistines that shaped the Heath's and Palin's (but I don't mean all Valley-folk, there are plenty we are friendly with and would break bread with.)
Villages in Alaska hold true grit, uncomplaining, hard-working, worldly and philosophical people. The Natives have thrived and endured for centuries before Sarah's Pioneers came in and 'saved' everything - making us a modern day creature comfort addicts.
This is so true and how is Sarah Palin any different from Kate Gosselin?
ReplyDeleteHave noticed that even the Faux News hosts attempt to bring reality to Granny Palin. Even they have to maintain some small shred of credibility. Not Palin, she simply refuses to "see" anything other than being a victim. Since it is obvious that she does not have ideas or any real insight she is not going to let go of what little she has. It's really pathetic. I feel we are about to watch the beginning of the end of Sarah's influence on American politics and culture.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Sullivan has nailed it. And what's hardest to grasp is why the Heaths, and sisters, brother of SP do not recognize that Sarah is exploiting her children.
ReplyDeleteWe question SP's mental status, but what about the grandparents mental status. Aren't they concerned about their grandchildren? If they love Sarah, and her children, they'd do them a great service by stopping this cruelty. What kind of people are these?
Right- the Obama kids were dragged around like Palin's kids. Wonder why the former haven't been on DWTS.
ReplyDeleteUnlike George Washington, Palin can not help but tell a lie.
She's no mama grizzly- she's a dying humpie going with the flow.
You know you are completely crazy when GLEN BECK has to give you a talking too. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteBut her being as dim as she is, it went right over her head that even her buddy was telling her - hey, all the problems your kids are having are totally your fault for putting them in this position!!
I truly despise this woman.
She was on Hannity tonight...I was flipping through the channels and watched for a tad. She was complaining about all the lies that are told about her, her Administration as governor, her children, etc. I couldn't stand watching it for long.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly is being seen and heard - day in and day out. But, the story line doesn't change much.
Anonymous 6:40:
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure if Beck, O'Reilly etc are trying to remind her of her place, so to speak. I think that there are probably still a lot of Fox viewers that are still at least somewhat skeptical about Palin. My theory is that, by posing "tough" questions to her, they serve as a surrogate for the voice in the minds of those who are skeptics but could be swayed to her side so long as she "proves herself" and provides some sort of rationale that can appease their inner skeptic. In effect, Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity et al actually strengthen her by posing such questions. It's not as if Sarah's not ready for those questions. If she's prepared for anything, it's petty vindication.
Fox is not stupid. They understand how the mind works and they even have a way of entering the minds of their viewers, because they know how they think. It's pretty slick stuff, but a little scary too.
I would often look at places like Nazi Germany and North Korea, places with propaganda that just seems outrageous from the outside. I would ask myself, "how the heck could a whole mass of people actually fall for that stuff?" In all seriousness, since observing Fox and its effects on our society, now I get it.
I think Sarah knows she will be getting hit hard on her actual "executive" experience as mayor/gov. Many details are bound to come out that will paint a very different picture than the mythological narrative painted by an unwitting McCain campaign.
ReplyDeletePalin is desperately trying to get in front of the avalanche of facts by whining to FOX viewers that lies are being told about her administration and her family.
The next two years just might be kind of fun. She's already wearing people out with the constant barrage of drama. I think her strategists are too clever by half and will ultimately realize, too late, that they overplayed their hand.
Anon @3:42, what I found hilarious is that the palinbots would interpret Sullivan calling Trig Sarah's son his "admission" that she gave birth to him.
ReplyDeleteThat critical thinking is working just fine for me. Here's a hint that might help with your own: Often, when a word or phrase is surrounded with quotes but isn't quoting a source, it's meant sarcastically.
Thank you, GarColga. My sarcasm must have been a bit too subtle.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't make me a tool, 4:06. I'm sorry it went over your heads, 4:11 and 4:19. It doesn't make me a troll, 7:29. Gagirly, it doesn't make me "an IDIOT, A MIND-NUMBINGLY STUPID EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING" (in this case I was quoting a source; do you see the distinction?). And it certainly doesn't make me a Palin relative, angela.
It does make me sad, though. I would expect these kinds of insults coming from palinbots, but not the fine folks here at IM. It seems like there are a lot of people out for blood today. Perhaps it's the lack of trolls on this post. Or maybe they're cranky from Black Friday shopping.
SEVEN of you (including 3:42) seem so eager to lash out at someone who will read your "clever" retorts that you didn't pause to consider the possibility you might have misinterpreted my post.
Hugs, 3:14.
Sarah is working to be Sante Kimes. They are right on track.
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 3:49 said....Yet there's one thing I seriously wonder: while I know she must be aware that she's a relentless liar, does she herself truly believe that she's a victim?
ReplyDeleteI say no, she does NOT truly believe she is a victim. As a true sociopath, she can get ahead by playing into this. It's like a game for her. She really doesn't want to govern as Murkowski pointed out. This is all a game for her sucking sympathy out of the poor, unknowing folks that just love her. This is the reward for her. What she is incapable of is sympathy for anyone else, even her own children.
And BTW, she is aware she's a liar. Sociopaths have no conscience; she doesn't even think once about it.
I wish she would encourage higher education for her kids. The older kids aren't attending and I doubt the youngest ever will. Looks like Willow has the best shot but her FB comments make her appear semi-literate.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a waste to have resources and not invest in your kids.
what about all the clothing the RNC bought the kids for the campaign? what about the Piper sidekick? Palin wants to look fertile and young and protect herself from questions that you would not want to ask in front of a child. She wants a misdirection--why are you hurting my baby, Piper etc.
ReplyDeleteI dont believe that she finished college either. Where was the internship? McCain bought her a degree.
wHO IS TRACK'S DADDY?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Andrew Sullivan, for calling attention to this Palin Parenting Pointer from the NYTimes:
ReplyDelete"Yes, she left her two-year-old with Down Syndrome after a 'worrisome' operation to campaign half the world away the next day, to save a far right candidate who lost."

@8:37, "And what's hardest to grasp is why the Heaths, and sisters, brother of SP do not recognize that Sarah is exploiting her children."
ReplyDeleteYes, but the fact is that these people exploit their daughter/sister. They're all awful human beings, users, opportunists. They're all on Sarah's gravy train and if Sarah using her children is bringing in the bucks, all well and good.
We're not talking about decent people here.

ReplyDelete"Will you run out of this stupid shit that fills space or will your audience just get sick of it first. I'm betting on the latter."
Well, I've been following this blog for some time and one thing that I've noticed is that Gryphen's audience is growing larger, not smaller.
And by the term "this stupid shit" I assume you're referring to Sarah Palin. And no, she will never run out of the idiotic sayings, moronic inanities and downright babblings that are so peculiar to her, and that they will continue to fill not only this space but countless others across the blogging universe.
So, in answer to both of your questions, I'm betting on neither.
PRIOR:We question SP's mental status, but what about the grandparents mental status. Aren't they concerned about their grandchildren? If they love Sarah, and her children, they'd do them a great service by stopping this cruelty. What kind of people are these?
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: I wouldn't assume the grandparents can do something (maybe they could. Maybe they can't. Maybe that are and not advertising that are intervening in order to protect the kids. We don't know.

This isn't the first time Palin used proverbially incorrectly,
ReplyDeleteHer Mama Grizzly act is old. I love dogs but I know they are an animal. They have pups and after 8-10 weeks they let them go.
ReplyDeleteOf course pups find homes (hopefully) and are raised by their owner.
Comparing a human child who requires at least 18 years of supervision, love, lessons to flourish in the world, to a cub, says much about her parenting skills I feel.
I guess give credit to Beck for saying what Sarah was too stupid to figure out, which is, nobody bothers my kids because I don't pimp them out. I mean, he's insulting her right to her face and it's going completely over her head.
ReplyDeleteBeck said he had these conversations with his wife....well you can just IMAGINE how those went. I'd love to hear that!
And Sarah's...."here's the deal, here's the deal.." is so bipolar it's pathetic. I can actually see her and hear her say that right in front of my face.
Sarah's worst enemy is not the LSM, or factions of the GOP, it's Sarah.
I used to have a bipolar partner, who I left because I just couldn't take it anymore. I never stopped caring about her really, but I got worn out and even a little apathetic in the end. Instead of seeking stability at home, with our family as a unit, she always caused chaos and LOTS of change. There were plenty of "goals" and all kinds of distractions that I figured out eventually, were not an accident. The distractions were her life, it was part of her, not what was happening "to" her. That's when I had to get off the train. Eventually, America will too, with this girl Sarah Palin.
"Her speaking is less grammatical than an 8th grader's--truly. A grammar professor would have a field day. .....and this woman has an alleged degree in 'communictations'? ?????in 'journalism"???????"
ReplyDeleteit's POSSIBLE that she earned an Associates degree in something, but not likely that she has a degree in anything. She lies, doncha' know.
"Alaska people--why are you not helping this family by exposing all this abuse?"
ReplyDeleteWa-aa-aat? You trying to get us killed?
