TMZ spoke with "Tre" -- the person whom Willow called a "f**got" after he criticized "Sarah Palin's Alaska" on his Facebook page.
Tre -- who tells us he's not gay -- claims he was offended by the comments and felt bullied by both women ... saying, "Willow called me a f**got in front of the whole world and my family."
When asked if he thought Willow was a homophobe, Tre replied, "I think she might be ... She says 'queer' and 'gay' so much ... so probably ... maybe."
Although Bristol issued a public apology through Facebook on behalf of her and Willow -- Tre says he's yet to hear from either one of them. We asked Tre if he accepted the online apology and he told us, "No way ... Maybe if it was sincere and honest from them straight to me, I would consider. But it would have to be direct."
Now before the Palin-bots come on here and start lying about the fact that the girls were "only defending their family" let me remind everybody that this boy wrote his comments on HIS Facebook page and that Bristol and then Willow came after HIM.
"Willow and I shouldn't have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize. On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!"
Yeah I am with Tre, I would not accept that sorry excuse for an apology either.
BTW Tre is right about Willow's use of homophobic terms. I just received some information that demonstrates this is fairly common verbiage for Willow to be using.
Someday I should write a post about the things I have heard that come out of Sister Sarah's mouth. Now THAT would be Palin-bot troll bait like we have never seen before!

I'm having a hard time seeing any attack on the Palin family in the kid saying the show was a failure. Sure, it's Sarah's show, but supposedly about Alaska, not the family (didn't she make some sort of big deal saying it's not a reality show?). Sort of like saying DWTS a (whatever) is an attack on Bristol, or that anything against the teaparty is specific to Sarah, or on & on & on. Talk about thin skin. If she were to ever make it to the WH, all we would ever hear about from the press secretary is "flippin this, bastard that."

ReplyDeleteNot to excuse Willow (or any other foul mouthed kid) but this type of language seems to be fairly common among some teens, unfortunately. My husband's 18 year old daughter uses the F-bomb liberally on her myspace (she lives with mom, no standards there).
It will be interesting to see whether the Palin parents address this issue. I'm betting on not.
You don't hear a word from SP about her daughters' foul mouths and bullying tactics but what can you expect from a woman who just impugned the character of the President and First Lady of the United States. She even used President Obama's daughter's innocent question against him. If the First Lady or the President used Bristol and Willow as an example of bully behavior, Sarah would be screaming from her face book and twitter pulpit as well as on Faux News. I am happy that the First Family does show class and restraint when dealing with this shrew.

Also a few old screen captures of them and the people who do them favors and bully or intimidate for them. Bring it on Bristol and Willow by not sincerely apologizing. Just blame the Haters if that is your only excuse. They were not defending family, they were trolling like a cyberbully gang. How many times has this family come off like thugs?

This solidifies the fact the Palin girls bully. Tre was personally bullied and humiliated in front of his family. No one needs to be told a sincere personal apology would be in order. If you're going to live in a glass house, your going to get comments on every aspect of your existence.
Fame may bring in the big bucks but it also brings a lot of additional stress, grief and problems. It's highly over-rated and most famous people do everything they can to protect their family... not make them a focal point.
Sarah will play the victim but this heat comes with the whole enchilada of becoming a famous (or notorious) family.
Changing the way people will invade their lives is similar to asking people *not* to slow stop and look at the scene of an accident.

I doubt it is acceptable for a Palin to get caught and there would be hell to pay. I don't know how the Palins punish but it would not surprise me if it is some form of abuse. My parents would have marched me right over to face anyone that I offended or wronged. I would have been facing them and I would hear first hand what I did and how I hurt another.
Willow and Bristol will never get it at all and they will carry on this horrible family legacy. They will have people enabling them, doing damage control and trying to keep things for being exposed. They won't learn anything of lasting value form this. Not with Team Sarah Tea Party and the way they teach and punish.

I don't know what kind of teenagers you have experience with, but ALL teenagers do NOT talk like this. My children and their friends do NOT talk like this because they have been taught what is appropriate language and behavior, especially how to be respectful and sensitive to other people.
Out of all the comments, your comment rankled me more than anyone else's because of your implied attitude that "kids will be kids, and all kids are the same." No. They are not. There are children who bully others, and this FB exchange is a clear example of bullying by the Palin girls. Period. Adults who rationalize this type of behavior only make it harder to curb the bullying in our schools.

I find that inexcusable that Sarah is saying nothing. Why does anyone tolerate her lazy no count behavior? Neglect can be as horrid as abuse. She has Willow in a home school and she is teaching her to be anti-social and to shirk responsibility. Worse than how she is handling Track. The alleged fishing business son that is learning to fly. No one believes that Bristol was working hard and going to college, no one believes her about Track because her children will just disappear to later come out with another story. If she thinks people are going to buy the lies she tells in her editing of that reality show she really far gone.

My mom was a Fortune 500 exec and I grew up MAKING meals and sometimes even having dinner ready for my mom to take the credit for having made them while I wandered up stairs after her guests arrived and she'd been home for only 45 minutes for a short power nap and put on an apron in the kitchen, "Hey Mom! What's for dinner? I love it when you make that!" No one caught on, they thought she was Wonder Woman and it paid for my roof so I didn't complain and it only benefited me in the long run. Had I acted up, I would have embarrassed her because she was THAT high up. I don't resent it.
I didn't grow up fast, I grew up. That's all. Oh-- I didn't have a cessmouth. Me staying out of trouble was my job, my mom covered us moneywise.

ReplyDeleteI got the worst vibe from that scene with Piper when her face was pushed into the cake. Do they think that is fun and cute or something? It didn't feel right and made me feel so bad for the child.
I do hope there are good people in Wasilla and other parts of Alaska that think deep about the children. Please come forward to help end the pain that woman creates. It may be too late for her older children. But she spreads her toxic parenting and it effects all children. It is not the time for adults to allow this to continue.

ReplyDeleteThe answer is that the show is a showcase for Sarah's family, look how much we all love nature and love each other and do all of these fun things together. It plays like one of those political biographies, except it is billed as a travel feather.
Alaska is the excuse for the Palins to get together and put their values on parade. Tre really hit a sore spot. The show is THE FAMILY SHOWCASE, in exactly the same way that Sarah defined herself by her family during the 2008 election, "I'm just a hockey mom," even though Track hadn't played hockey for a while.
This is what is wrong with Bristol's apology. It's not the fact that she and Willow reacted to a negative comment. It's the WAY that they chose to react, using trash talk and nasty language.

Other have made the point that he was commenting about the show, not the Palins. But the Show and The Palins are the same thing; they are on Show, on display. The problem is that Sarah is thinking about running for president. If her daughters can't take a criticism about one episode of a TV reality show, just wait until the criticisms of Sarah latest speech show up. They won't be able to handle the pressure.
Note to Sarah: If you can't control your kids and the bleep coming out of their bleeping mouths, then you have no business in the public fish bowl. They won't be able to handle it, and judging from the vendettas that are being aired from your book, neither can you. Palins: Thinnest skin in the World!

The nastiest insult was when Bristol called one of the boys "awkward" and that he could only "grow a pair" through facebook. What a mean girl. And for nothing. Because he said he didn't like the show! I love getting into these people's little heads...seeing the real hate behind the "blessed" words. She's playing all Christian now right? ReplyDeleteBristol was home schooled. Willow is being home schooled. Piper may be home schooled. If you check out the Mat-Su Valley there are many that are home schooled. Many like Sarah. Many with children similar to the Palins, but not as Golden. Sarah Palin is a walking talking advertisement for home schools. No one should apologize for saying "Bring out the sewer mouth of Wasilla for what she is teaching children. Home school style." Sarah is the poster mother for home schools, if you don't want her and her family to be the USA role model of home schools, please do something to educate the public about her representation. More public awareness of cyber bullies is a must. Media needs to note that this is a reflection on Sarah's parenting. She is not even making a statement or doing a teachable moment. Instead, a threatening letter was sent to Bristol and there is a new distraction. If the FBI doesn't solve this one... hmmmmm.
As far as this being common behavior, sure there are those like the Palins that do this. People have been observing Alaska teen friends of the Palins for years now. They do intentionally gang up on kids and go to their site and intimidate or get revenge (say it is defense). That is what a cyber bully is. I hope the people that have the other screen shots of the Palins will let the world see what goes on. What has Anderson Cooper had to say?
Several of the Palin friends do some kind of monitoring and let anyone that is out of line know to stop. It is not always a vicious attack. But it is a kind of policing of Palin law. It can get bad at times. Bristol and Willow were trolling. It is not like a first time. They got caught is all that was first.
Nobody is EVER under obligation to accept an apology.
ReplyDeleteThe injured party has full right to accept, ignore, or refuse an apology, whether or not it is sincere, whether or not it is delivered by the antagonist, whether or not it is accompanied by restitution, promises, or a change of actions.
In this case, the Palin brats went onto HIS page, the Internet equivalent of entering his home, and insulted and bullied him and several other people. If someone acted like that in MY home, no apology would EVER be sufficient.
Perhaps the only way to deal with this sort of bullying is to shun, exile, outlaw, and ostracize online bullies, no matter who they are. In this case, Tre doesn't have to accept being a victim or being a pushover... can't he simply ban the Palins and their henchmen from reading or commenting on his pages? If his friends did the same, it would create a wall, with the brats on the outside.
A further remark: When I was in grade school, my mouth was washed out with Zest, for lying. bleah!!! It only took once. I NEVER used language like this. (I wouldn't have survived the beating.) Neither did any of my friends or classmates.

And it's a total lie, anyway, because no one made negative comments "about her family." They made a comment about not liking a tv show. And the very next sentence is an in-your-face comment about thanks for supporting her on DWTS. Is she thanking Tre for supporting her? No, it's not addressed to him so why is it included in the so-called apology? It's a direct slap in the face to him, because it's really saying, "my show rocks so suck it!"

ReplyDeleteThis is a good point, and I'd like to highlight this to Gryph, who in an effort to be a good guy has in the past discouraged posts calling Bristol fat, because it's seen as some sort of uncalled for attack, or a comment on all overweight people.
Bristol had NO PROBLEM calling that kid fat. And in fact, the kid wasn't fat through eating, he was taking a drug which caused weight gain, in order to save his own life.
The media hasn't really picked up on this at all.

My daughter, same age as Bristol, learned a long time ago never to put anything in writing (letter or online) that she wouldn't want her grand mother to read. True she can cuss a blue streak just like me, but she know when it is appropriate and when it is not. That's something I taught her. But to do that I had to BE there.
