From Politico:
At the Roll Call/CQ election analysis session at the Ronald Reagan Building this morning, Roll Call Executive Editor and Fox News contributor Mort Kondracke blamed Sarah Palin and Jim DeMint for Republicans' failure to capture the Senate.
“The people who got slapped the hardest in this election — besides Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama — are Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin,” he said. “Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin are responsible for the fact that the Senate did not go Republican. They’re the ones who are responsible for Christine O’Donnell. They’re the ones who are responsible for Joe Miller in Alaska. They’re the ones who are responsible for Ken Buck in Colorado. They’re the ones who are responsible for Sharron Angle in Nevada.”
Then Kondrake discussed whether Palin could be the 2012 nominee: "She's a joke even within her own party," Kondrake said. "The idea that she would be the presidential nominee is unthinkable."
Uh oh! There are Pee-bot heads exploding and poorly written e-mails being written all over Sarah-land.
"DEER MR. KON-MUNIST!
HOW DAR U CALL THE LUVLY SARAH PALIN A JOKE! SHE IS THE BESTEST THING THAT EBER HAPENED TO THE REPBLICANS AND U NO IT!
OBVIOUSLY YOU R JUST JELLUS COS YOU CANT F**K HER! OR BETER YET YOU R A GAY NAZI ADN YOU HATE YOUR YOURSELF AND BLAM IT ON PALIN!
SINSERLY ME!
PMS, WHY DON'T YOU JSUT DIE!
Personally I think we are going to see more, and more of this as the days go by.
Palin is an albatross around the neck of the Republican party and they are more aware of it now than ever before.
(P.S. If you think I was overly creative with the fake e-mail I posted up above, believe me I have received more of them than I can count that did not even make half that much sense.)

ReplyDeleteRuh Roh! Is Sarah going to have to include Fox News in the Lamestream Media category?
Gryphen, you forgot to add this:
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE A RINO LIB, WHO THINKS SARAH SHOULD HAVE ABORTED HER DOWNS SYNDROME SON. YOU ARE A BABY KILLER. YOU HATE SARAH BECAUSE SHE IS BUTIFUL AND SHE IS SHAKING THINGS UP IN WASHINGTON.
The aborttion refernce is always there
Thoroughly enjoyed the email, Gryph. That shit is funny!
ReplyDeletePMS. Tee hee. It's funny because her dolt followers, male and female, act like a bunch of PMS sufferers. Over emotional, reactionary, irrational, unstable, etc. (I'm a woman, so I know what I'm talking about.)
ReplyDeleteA blind man in Anchorage saw this coming Sarah. The election is over, these thugs got (almost) what they wanted, and now the gloves are coming off.
She really can't be so thick in the head that she didn't know this was exactly what was going to happen.
He is a commonist. Is the Tea Party a successful vote go getter? YES YES YES !! They are at the top. Dont underestement the powers of the prayer groups.
ReplyDeleteDid u watch The Daily Show last eve?
ReplyDeleteChris Wallace was the guest ;) ;) Mama Quitter Palin was trashed
U must watch:

Happy to see the truth about Palin finally dawn on these folks. You have to ask yourself, however, why in the world it took so long.
ReplyDelete¨She´s a joke even within her own party.¨
ReplyDeleteMOTO (master of the obvious), no chit. Sarah is stale. Bring on Christine! At least she is eye candy.
Oh, I believe you, Gryphen, re: deciphering what they are trying to say. I read the infrequent comments from your Teabagger troll-fan and it is much the same. I always think it's a parody but then, no. And the hate is palpable.
ReplyDeleteMeghan McCain last night on Leno Slams Bristol Palin, again and also hear what she had to say abt Mama:

OMG LOL!! Gryphen you are so funny.
ReplyDeleteThis is getting good. Grabbing the popcorn!!
All Right! The gloves are off!
ReplyDeleteRick
I love it!! The amusement that I'm finding in the GOP going after Sarah Palin almost makes up for the fact that if left up to the GOP I'll never have affordable health insurance. Well, no it doesn't really. But I'm still very entertained and it makes my heart lighter (perhaps that will hold off the heart attack that I can't afford to have)that Sarah can no longer count on the GOP to prop her up. Come on, Repugs - take her down, damn it!!
ReplyDeleteMandrake was surely speaking more on behalf of himself and "Roll call" than as a Fox employee: the Rupe clearly favors someone more radical than Mittens, and is clearly keeping the grifter on the substitute's bench as an apocalyptic threat. For the time being, no one at Fox puts baby in the corner.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that the douchebag-y DeMint is finally receiving his share of the blame for the Fundamentalist flameouts by Angle, O'Donnell, teabagger Joe, and the Buck dude from CO.
We have, then, a fairly even GOP match-up: the Rove "machine" vs. Rupert & God. Release the Kraken!
This is great! I can't believe that Faux would even allow such subordination. But again, they are all about ratings. I hope she goes down like a $5.00 crack whore.
ReplyDeleteGreat the GOP is finally doing something rational. Now if they could just put Rush in the same net and make it a twofer, it would make America's day!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I am waiting for Nancy Reagan to come out with an official statement, the next time $arah tries to co-opt Ronnie:
ReplyDelete"I knew Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was the love of my life. You, dear, are no Ronald Reagan. You are a quitter. Now quit using my dead husband's legacy to try and prop up your narcissistic endeavors." Nancy Reagan
2012 is shaping up to be the most entertaining election cycle ever!
ReplyDeleteGod, I love this.
ReplyDeleteThe "eating their own" part has already begun, just as was expected and predicted.
Dig it, folks. We're going to have 2 years of this.
"Honey! Don't forget the popcorn!"
During the early days of the Republican Convention in 2008, Peggy Noonon, Reagan's speech writer, was caught with an open mike. They just played a clip of Sarah Palin, who had just been chosen by John McCain. "We are so screwed," remarked Peggy, not knowing that the microphone was still on. She later tried to take it back, but it was clear from the beginning that they were so screwed. In those days, Daily Kos said of Sarah that she was the gift that kept on giving.
ReplyDeleteSarah doesn't have to open her mouth. Look at the damage she has done to the Republicans and their chance for the Senate. They were so screwed, again! As long as they keep her for her limited crowd appeal and to motivate their extreme right wing base, they will continue to be so screwed. Thanks Peggy for saying the right thing before anyone else.
Do you think when Stupid runs, in addition to co-opting Track's 'stellar' military career (ha!), she'll do the same for Brisket?
ReplyDelete"I raised a teenager who got knocked up and is now famous for it and you can never take that away from me!"
I can hear that proud squawk now.
Since I know she reads here, Sarah, you can have that one free. It's about all I'll ever contribute to your campaign for anything.
Dayum Gryphen- for a second I thought that was my inbox and not IM!
ReplyDeleteYou must get a lotta taht kind of mail. I get some too.
What I can't figure out- I tell the idiots that I don't waste my time with their CHIT, STOP SENDING IT! and still they send it to me.
On the stupid media topic-
Unhappy with the stupid radio?
Read this and the comments for ideas.

ReplyDeleteIf that were to happen, the Palinbots would tear Nancy to shreds. No one, and I mean no one, is immune to their wrath when it comes to their love and protection of Sarah.
In reality, this isn't news because it's obvious to anyone with any kind of substance at all in their skull that Sarah is a joke (an understatement for sure).
ReplyDeleteThe GOP tried to use her in the latest elections by holding their breath and hoping to ride some of the anger she instills in her worshippers, but it only ended up showing them that, even for the GOP, for as much as she can work up a certain segment of the population, Sarah Palin is ultimately a disease.
I really hope they start circling the wagons soon. It may be long overdue, but I hope we're starting to see the momentum slowly pick up, where more and more will not be afraid to speak the truth, and more will decide that trying to profit off of her celebrity comes at a damaging cost to their reputations.
Sarah Palin pretty much represents all that is ugly and backwards about our current culture in America.
Sarah, your days are numbered, and there are many of us who will do our part to ensure they are few.
We WILL have the last laugh. You have no clue who I am, but you can mark my words.
LOL funny!
ReplyDeleteI am no fan of $carah and her ilke by any means, but I am tired of waiting for someone to 'spill the beans' and 'take her down'.........it makes me question and wonder if anyone really does have any 'dirt' on her.......take the wench down already, why wait? Why let her and her ilke make any more $?
FOX MADE her, FOX will break her. Without the Murdoch machine/megaphone, SP would be the fishwife she was destined to be.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be "flippin' fun"!
Sarah Palin, AIP-AK, the laughingstock of our nation (and beyond) - buh BYE from the REAL AMERICANS.
I've been expecting the Palin flame-out, but I am so relieved to finally hear someone tear into DeMint. Demint is demented and a real and present danger. Glad to see someone in the GOP calling him out.
ReplyDeleteITS CUZ OF THE LAMESTREAM MEDIA! THERE THE DEVIL. SARAH IS MARY AND JOE MILLER IS JESUS AND NOW THE POCKOLIPS WILL COME.
ReplyDeleteSo my asshat Senator, who is Demint, finally has some value by interfering with the GOP Senate seats. After all these years, who would have thought he could make a positive contribution to our society by being so negative (and ignorant)!
ReplyDeleteGryphen, seriously, you need to post one e-mail from a Palin-bot once a day. Margaret Cho did it and included their e-mail address. Such rudeness and hilarity must be shared. How about you call it: "Gryphen's e-mail of the day"? I am sure that you have a ton of them stored up for the FBI. ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteI saw that and all I could think of was the roll of the drum that you hear in an old movie when somebody is being marched out to the courtyard to be shot!
By the way, Gryph, thanks for all of your coverage and congrats on the Miller flameout (we hope). Down here in Florida we are NOT so lucky and looking forward to several more tyears of corporate criminals at the helm of the state government.

ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful. Her new show is now online and starts with her and Toad whining about McGinnis.
Gryphen,
ReplyDeleteWatch this NEW video clip of Palin from her reality show.
She tells Todd that he should drill a hole in the fence so she can spy on the author next door !!!
And the camera crew films him on HIS balcony too!
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/04/sarah-palin-complains_n_779146.html
I think its funny that she says she endorsed people but actually she was paid to endorse people. Not the same.
ReplyDeleteWhat a festering whore-sore on the ass of America.
That's the first time I've smiled in 48 hours. I might have to watch Fox if they're going to start making sense. Thanks, Gryph, I needed a pick-me-up!
ReplyDeletePS it's going to be even more fun to watch her head explode via twitter!
Ironic how the people who brought us the appalling Citizens United decision are now reaping the inevitable consequences of their attempt to subvert the election process. You want corporate interests to buy and sell elections? Then you better be damn sure those interests are always going to match your own. The ultra-libertarian, ultra insane Koch Brothers were the primary financiers of the Tea Baggers. Now the Repubs are stuck with them.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I can't believe that Faux would even allow such subordination. But again, they are all about ratings. I hope she goes down like a $5.00 crack whore.
ReplyDeleteI guess her response to you Mitch would be "been there, done that."
How can the Republican Party take her seriously as a potential candidate for anything? She polls below 50% in her home state, so state level offices are out.
ReplyDeleteShe has polled below 50% on the national level with tons of national exposure, for about 2 years so she can't be seen as a viable candidate on the national level.
The only part she can play is the one that she is playing now and the only people who are responding positively to her messge are the same people who responded positively 2 years ago.
She is not increasing her base and has alienated many who might support her her.
If Sarah had played her cards right, they would be all over her, anointing HER the "chosen one" after the mid-terms.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness she is as inept as she is, or we'd be in serious trouble about now.
Of course they have turned on her, just as quickly as they turned TO her.
It's a dog eat dog world in the GOP, Sarah, and all your years of fighting the good old boys' club can't save you now.
Wow. I started watching Sarah Palin's Alaska online.
ReplyDeleteI can't do it. Never seen anything so contrived. I just can't do it. As an actual Alaskan, it makes me so grieved.
The Palinbots are going to be VERY busy over the coming months, what with rebutting THIS reporter and THAT blogger...I say, let's keep their little fingers tap-tap-tapping away until they bleed!
ReplyDeletePaging Karl Rove
ReplyDeletePaging Karl Rove
Now is the time to slip some of that "under the table" blow that
Wasilla Witch out of the political
arena data you & Mitt have been
sitting on.
Scooter knows how to do it !!
Citing Reagan in every misunderstood and incomprehensible non sequitor does not make Sarah a Presidential scholar.
ReplyDeleteSaying all the founding fathers and mother's are her favorites doesn't boost her creds either.
We've been saying it for years, even at the height of her Gubernatorial popularity (secured by peak State revenue surpluses and purchased with the Energy Rebate attached to the PFD) Sarah Palin is stupid. Stupid is fine in the community, but she is stupid and mean. Stark raving unstable, unpredictable in no calculating way, destructive and brings out the worst in supporters and detractors alike. That this small-time grifter is an influential household name boggles the mind.
The meme is out, 'Draw the line in the sand.' 'We aren't coming to Washington with this Tea Party Mandation to sing Kumbaya with the CIC, we are going to be obstructionists for the good of the country.'
Mitch McConnell said so this morning with the Koch bros. Heritage Foundation. Mitch should know better, he's not new to the Inside. Presidents come and go but Parties do carry ugly failures and are eventually spanked by the voters.
These are grown-ups. These are wealthy, powerful grown-
ups with influence and keys to our future. They think this
cyclical blip in their favor is going to pay-off in 2012? They
are naive, irresponsible and childish.
McCain's political legacy is also reduced to being defined by Sarah Palin, really GOP? You want the same for your whole party in the history books of the 21st Century?

David Frum and even Meghan laid out the argument in that the GOP unable to capture the
I have to laugh at this. The Repubs invited the TeaKlan to the dance and now they want to ditch them at the door. Too bad. They will forever be known as the Teapubs as far as I'm concerned.
ReplyDeleteOhiovoter
Wow this guy has cajones! I wonder if Fox will fire him for bashing their darling Sarah. It will sure be interesting to see how Sarah fights back. Let the games begin!
ReplyDeleteOn Chris Mattews show today they're discussing the negative influence of Palin, it sure is open season on her this week, and I love it!
The thing is, they can't have it both ways. Yes, at first glance it appears they could have taken the Senate if not for Palin and the Teabaggers. But by the same token, the GOP was dead in 2008 and their supporters were humiliated by the Obama landslide. So nothing would have really gotten them out to vote, and all excited, unless they went the Mama Grizzly/Witch/Anti-Masturbator/Brownshirted, Anti-Gay, Anti-Immigrant route. Moderation doesn't get people excited and out to vote. So if the leaderless GOP went Moderate the past 2 years, they'd be dead by now. Either way, they couldn't take the Senate.
ReplyDeleteYour "email" was hilarious! Disgustingly true - I've seen SO many comments on other blogs/papers, etc. with exactly the same sentiments (and spelling!).

Thing all must understand about the RW, and especially her..with the RW it is always personal. Always emotion.
ReplyDeleteWith the dem/left its more actualizing concept, more
actual 'work' putting a concept together, implementing such.
The RW is a popularity contest, a snarkathon; it is always personal and always vindictive emotional word salad; like high school.
No action just button pushing.
flagcommonsensecrusadecompeteconflict, just words; they dont 'say' anything, simply 'evoke' an emotion.
Like watching leave it to beaver; ah the good ole daze.
When she starts with the raygun crapola, she is going di-rectly for the emotion meme's. When Bohner weeps on air about how hard *he* worked to get 'thru school' it is all about 'him', his struggles; not the publics.
He has no understanding of the 'public'...but he knows what emotional button to push; i mean its enuff to make me cry...isnt it?
No, it is not. Words are fine but living is more than just the frickin word salad.
For the RW its all personal popularity and theyll say or do anything for popularity.
like bachmans entire new face. ROF, she had it ALL done...eyes brows cheek filler lips.
American Bandstand.
This is unbelieveable.
ReplyDeleteThe Republicans won the House and are alternately acting like they won the world and at the same time they're eating their own.
The Democrats just lost the House, kept the Senate, and hold the WH and they're all acting like the world has ended and the Republicans own them. Course they had huge minorities and they acted like the Thugs owned them too so who knows.
The big winners on Tuesday were the corporations and the rich. If the people actually paid attention this might not be the case but Americans always tend towards not being the brightest when it comes to their own self-interests.
Check out this 2-minute mashup (Obama vs. McConnell:
ReplyDeletehttp://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/11/the-shellacked-and-the-furious-obama-gets-no-love-from-mcconnell-video-1.php
What's interesting about the tea party "surge": by choosing unelectable (aka "crazy") Senate candidates in Alaska, Delaware, Colorado & Nevada the GOP establishment is now royally pissed off.
Now the battle between the elite, ivy-league-educated GOP establishment (who earned their money the old-fashioned way--by inheritance) & the true TPers will be waged out in the open, on the floor of the House.
By the next election cycle, when all House members are up for re-election (as well as Pres. Obama), both sides within the GOP will be seething resentment & seeking vengeance against their own party. I think the American people will tire of this quickly. Hopefully the Dems will be smart enough to nurture their talent and will be in a position to offer a slate of sincere & qualified challengers to incumbent GOPers.

Thanks anonymous at 11:22 am for the great laugh. Seriously, with ever more comments from the right like the ones in this post, there may be hope for the Republican party yet.
