Apparently Sarah has decided that the best way to remake Bristol's image from "DWTS Diva" and "Facebook feral bitch" back to a sympathetic figure is is to seduce the viewers of DWTS over to TLC to watch her crappy reality show which will showcase Bristol murdering a fish. Because you know NOTHING says to America "I am an easy going lover of life" quite like being shown clubbing a halibut to death and then dismembering it.
Except that the clip that Palin linked to in her tweet really did not seem to do much to dispel the notion of Bristol being a diva. Here watch it for yourself and tell me if you agree.
Not to be argumentative, but what part of that clip showed Bristol NOT being overly prissy and stand offish?
What I saw was a young lady that did NOT want to have anything to do with fishing, or gutting the fish, or listening to any advice from her irritating mother. Did Sarah link to the wrong clip, or is THAT her idea of fun loving, ready to get their hands dirty, young woman?
As my daughter would say, "Epic Fail!" (To be honest Sarah herself did not strike me as being at all comfortable in that environment either. So that would be "Epic Fail, part deux.")
But hey, on the plus side Willow has learned that "sex is bad!"

Yes good job Sarah, because nothing says well rounded teenage girl like a fear of intimacy, and the idea that sex is evil and wrong.

What I noticed particularly was that Bristol had no idea what to do without the crew telling her, and mama was barely better. She probably had Todd do all the slimy, bloody work assuming she was out there at all. What a surprise. I thought Mama Grizzleys just ripped them apart with their teeth and claws.

As someone who has spent more of my married life fishing for salmon and halibut (recreationally, not professionally) I noticed that Priscilla from Wasilla and her spawn didn't seem to know much about fish or fishing.

According to Bristol when asked what the TV show was about, she said "Fishing, hunting, camping all the stuff my family does when we are together"?? Must not be together much since nobody seems to know what they are doing. Willow just had a pregnancy scare, so maybe she dcided to try sex again to see just how "bad", it is?

ReplyDeleteYou said a mouthful, why not have those kids do some good works. Our local high school requires so many hours of public service in order to graduate. We are lucky a community that is well off, and the high school kids volunteer in supervised jobs in the inner city, coaching kids, helping with sports or arts and crafts activities. It's a good program.
Sarah once promised to return her $100,000. speaking fee to a charitable cause, but we have not seen any evidence of her generosity. Sarah and those foul mouthed daughters could be lending their celebrity to a national Down Syndrome Organization which would appreciate have awareness and contributions increased by the Magical Palin Power.
Sarah talks about self reliance, and the fact that there shouldn't be any hand outs. So, it's hard to imagine her embracing the Christian act of charity for a minute. Let those poor people take care of themselves.

Sarah's never said they have fished for halibut before. The family is used to setnetting and salmon fishing, all of them. But I think just Todd and Track are shown in the episode coming up

ReplyDeleteThe kids practically grew up in Dillingham in the summers. They are close with that part of the family and they love it there. Remember Sarah's msnbc emails, the three older kids regularly worked alongside Todd and Piper would hang out there too, also. Bristol's had a part time job since she was about 14, maybe 2 at times. She greatly enjoyed working at the Derm office and missed it once she quit. FB tells a lot. There are accounts from other politcos and colleagues that Sarah is an outdoorsman. They go on to say she's not a reformer though. I'll try to find where I read that and post.

It is Ivy Frye and the Mat-Su Tea Party who are the ones that push a lot of the voting. Rebecca Mansours nephew, Joe has been instrumental in pushing and teaching these internet techniques. He is great with all the email and Facebook type systems. You can go on line and read about how deeply he was effected by what Obama's team did with the internet. He set out to use the internet and do better for Republicans. He is actually a nice sounding person and I don't think he is doing anything illegal but none of this is an accident.
Yes, the Tea Party from the Mat-Su Valley has learned how to use the internet from sophisticated Republican techies to solicit votes and push their people. Not saying that is wrong. The Tea Party is what makes it look like Bristol is popular on a TV program, they want you to believe she has a variety of people that like her because she works hard and all that. That is deception. Exactly. Bristol was her normal slim self in this video. Didn't they do this over the summer? How could a young woman who obviously never had a weight problem all of sudden develop one concurrent with a period where she is engaging in probably the most physical activity of her life? I think it was a quickie damage control. Whether Willow parroted the words or some one fed that bull to the press doesn't matter. It is what Team Sarah is crafting and it is horrible. To think that ABC and people like Barbara Walters go along with that kind of child abuse is alarming.
It is frightening to think of what Sarah wants to take our country back to.
I think I just figured out why Palin couldn't tell Katie Couric what magazines she read regularly. Because it is apparent that the only periodicals in the Palin household are In-Touch, Us and People. That is the window through which they view real life and why they are such media-whores. Sarah thinks that getting on the cover of one of these gossip magazines is the equivalent of appearing on the cover of Time and that being chased by papparazzi is the same as being followed by the press corp.

I guess I would be in the 5%, or maybe you just exaggerated that percentage, given how many die hard fans she has over at her message board, some by their testimony, were never fans of her father. Many of his fans revile Lisa and her mom so I doubt they are fans. At best, they were probably curious at first but they had to go status quo and remember they have to hate her cuz she didn't apparently become "Liza Minelli/Princess Diana" like with her career and the fact that they still blame Priscilla for his death. Lisa is a better writer than singer but at least she knows that herself. Gryphen, as much as I truly dislike this family, my heart goes out to Trig and the potential I feel he's being denied by being with them. I've only seen one picture of him with his glasses or his hearing aids. At this age, actually from 6 months on up, their learning abilities are so hampered if not given the proper equipment, imagine trying to learn to communicate, reading lips, sign language, etc. yet you don't have the ability to see others clearly or all sounds are muffled. What is wrong with this family that they could do this to a child? This is one of the reasons why I cannot tolerate her. Being a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for many years, I'd see so many mothers feeling guilt about having to leave their children to go to work to provide for them. Now here's Sarah, claiming that Trig was so wanted and how she prayed when she thought he was in danger to take care of him, prayed about how wanted he was. Of course, she never bothered to go to the hospital and I still highly doubt that she was ever pregnant but no matter how it happened, she's now his mother, at least in name. So why the hell isn't she home with him? Can she not handle going a couple years without hearing the cheering crowds? Obviously her fame is far more important than taking care of her son when he is at an age where he needs her the most. I hope she's at least using some of this money for the very best care possible for him. However, considering Bristol was allegedly paying for her own college education, struggling to take care of Tripp and work, you know the whole "poor Bristol" story, why didn't she help her financially? What parent doesn't when they have the ability to do so, especially in that situation? Is she really as cheap as I've read?
ReplyDeleteIf this mother/daughter scene is supposed to prove something I can't imagine what it is--that they have never been fishing together before this? That the family is not used to spending time together? They are very stiff around each other no matter how much b.s. she wants to feed us about them being close. If I were Bristol, I don't know how I would feel about a mother who would throw me under the bus of the national media simply to further her own ambitions, leaving me 17 & pregnant, to deal with the media. I don't know if Bristol is aware enough to even realize what was done, but the rest of us are and someday, if she ever gets away from her mother, she will realize that $arah's actions were that of a very selfish, immature woman who doesn't give a damn about anyone but herself!!
If there is any truth to the rumors about Track have problems, mentally or with drugs, again, why the hell would she even consider opening her family up to the media onslaught that will be coming their way? Does she really think she was vetted? That's a joke! There is so much more about her that will come out if she runs for President that 2008 will look like the press loved her!
Anon @3:11 Bristol will never say a word about Mercede in public, she'll just keep trashing her on her private Facebook page as she's been doing. The real reason Bristol will never say anything is because Mercede will counter all the lies, especially the "I only slept with one boy my entire life" that Bristol said on TV recently. Mercede knows FAR TOO MUCH about Bristol and she knows it. Also, Bristol had better watch what she says, their recent court agreement says that they are not to speak negatively about each other. $arah's new book is in direct defiance of that order and so are the comments Bristol is making. The Palin family obviously thinks they are above the law but not everyone is afraid of them. If Levi ever spills all he knows, $arah is finished.
ReplyDeleteDo i have to get an auto insurance when i buy a used car? or else, they don't sell the car to a person who doesn't have an auto insurance? I currently have a lease car that will be returned this January next year. But i want to get a used car soon so that i can work on the car, but i won't be driving it around. The car will be in my garage until i return the lease car and get an auto insurance. I live in Philadelphia, PA
