Joy Behar has some things to say about Bristol, Willow, and the Palin family.
I think that the Palin-bots will live to regret cheating to get Bristol this far in the DWTS contest. They may have played their hand much too early to help their queen in 2012.

Took a clue from MediaInsider's post the other day and here's what I found using the Wayback Machine:
ReplyDeletehttp://replay.waybackmachine.org/20081230071244/http://www.dancingwiththestarsontour.com/
There is a cross-country DWTS tour from December through February every year -- who knew? I didn't follow DWTS at all until this season, so this was news to me.
All the finalists plus the pro dancers are contracted to participate, according to MI, this includes Bristol now that she's advanced to the finals. It probably also includes Brandy & Maks because they were semi-finalists.
I think Bristol is going to wish she never made it to the finals. I predict she will break her contract by stating publicly she misses her kid, Tripp, and needs to rush back to be with him. Reality is she's pregnant and will move to Arizona to deliver her new kid at the new house that Mama Sarah bought.
More support for this theory is the fact that Mark Ballas, Bristol's dance partner on DWTS, has already posted on his music FB page that he's booked for the "Burn the Floor" dancing tour in 3 cities Nov. 30th to Jan. 2nd. Mark can't be in both tours at the same time. This makes it almost certain that THEY ALREADY KNOW Bristol will not be joining the DWTS finalists tour after the show ends.
Waiting for it all to unfold...
The palin family is like some highshool kid who only have friends because they drive the coolest car and wear the coolest clothes. There was a scene like that in the sopranos.Camilla tells Tony that he doesn't have any friends just cronies that laugh at his jokes because he is the boss,
ReplyDeleteOh goody, more whine material ......
ReplyDeletehttp://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/zwecker/2904534,zwecker-dancing-111810.article
Surely this will be a capitol offense?
some younger people here may not know dick cavett.
ReplyDeletebut us old timers do and i can tell you that in his prime he was one of the brightest thinkers around.
he has had some issues and sad to see him as "slow" as this, but he still makes lots of sense.
It just occurred to me: The Palin's are the real-life Simpsons!
ReplyDelete"The wild wordsmith of Wasilla" rotfl
ReplyDeleteAnderson Cooper has taken up the bully issue. This is one of the most serious bully examples to come up all week. Do you think he can take this on? He does want to help the kids that are victims and teach the others to do better and end the bullying? Bristol is an adult, but a leader of teens. Her example and that ridiculous excuse of an apology is how teens should behave? What about Willow and an apology? What about the parents discussing the bully example and the example of parents and Facebook problems. How are the Palins handling this? Sarah is advertising her book about American Idol. She has a reality show and she wants us to get to know her family.
Interesting that the senior editor of In Touch would leave the country if Palin was president. Why give Bristol fashion spreads flaunting her 'curves' if you despise them so much? Hello, you are contributing to the problem!!!
ReplyDeleteJoy speaks for me when she says that she has some ambivalence about commenting on the Palin family during her show.
ReplyDeleteTheir ignorance and hateful language is just provoking, and we all know Quitty would say or do anything stay in the spotlight.
I do have hope that by Nov 2012 our country will just be fed up with the constant, shrill whining of these professional victims.
What about the Enquirer story that Willow is having/had a pregnancy scare??? What do you know Gryphen? Is it possible the Enquirer has sources that close?
ReplyDeleteThat was priceless, Gryphen. I can hear palinbot heads exploding all over the country. Has anyone ever trashed the Quitter Queen so openly and contemptuously on TV?
ReplyDeleteI love Joy Behar. I also love Dick Cavett who we rarely get to see. His witty humor tickles my brain. I find him brilliantly funny. “I would say that’s an apology in the idiot sense”. “Won’t history look back on these times, with her as one of the great aberrations of the history of the country…enthusiasm for a know-nothing who might have been president?”
ReplyDeleteit's not cheating when the system allows it. It's the fault of ABC.
ReplyDeleteThe pregnancy fix is in:
ReplyDeleteBristol's latest piece about how she will never be a size 0 and how she loves her legs is the set-up for her to go into seclusion until after this kid pops. She will emerge in 3 mos (?) svelte with stories of how mean everyone was to her etc. and howshe could not face the public....sob, sob.
So do they hide this one? Or pretend it is Willow's? (The tabloids are already talking about Willow being pregnant.)
Just out of Curiosity: Where are the nannies that the Palin's have to higher to raise this ever growing brood? I would imagine that the turn over was fairly often.
Is there really a finishing school for young juvenile delinquent ladies? Does it accept hillbillies?
ReplyDeleteOh Joy Behar, this is why she's a running joke for all those who are sane. Picking on a young girl just because she stood up for her family. Shame Joy
ReplyDeletewow, Joy makes liberals appear trashy and crass. This is a 64 (?) year old woman trashing a 16 yr old for talking like other 16 yr olds talk. No, Willow did not hear it from her parents. She heard it from schoolmates. The f-word and term gay used in the derogatory sense are generational terms.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sorry, but people are ridiculous is they really believe ONLY Sarah supporters and tea partiers are voting for Bristol and Mark.
The good news for The Palins is there really is nothing else that can be thrown at them that they will not walk away from unscathed. They remain a close, happy brood. I'm glad to see that small-minded libtards don't get to them.
ReplyDelete@2:18 oh puhleeeeze she talks like that because she learned to talk that way at home and it was acceptable. Sista Sarah use ferkin, freakin etc all the time and trust me we all know that when the camera is NOT rolling it is the real word!....
ReplyDeleteI love Joy... Dick was great!!
I hope she has peaked and head back to the trailer park because I just can't go to much more of her...
Don't know if you saw/heard this, Gryphen, but Bristol was on the Bob and Mark show today, saying,
ReplyDelete"...this is supposed to be a positive, fun show, and, um, I'm just so sick of people just attacking me for bein' who I am"
and (on how she felt in the moments after finding out she was safe:
"It was a scary feeling after, um, I mean, we shoot the show in Hollywood. I don't have that many supporters out here, I'm not really relatable to the typical person that lives in Hollywood, so obviously she [Brandy] had a big fan base in the live audience, and, um, so after it was announced and the cameras stopped rolling, I was SUPER scared, I was like, "Great, uhh, I've got a bunch of people over here booing me, and um, not thinking that I deserve this," so it was, um, it was a rough feeling to have to go through."
One of the d-bags told her she should run for mayor of Wasilla, and she laughed her snarky laugh and said "it would be no competition."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd_SSSL86Dk
Shame on you, @2:08, for defending homophobic, cussing bullies named Palin.
ReplyDeleteI love Dick Cavett and decided to google The Wild Wordsmith Of Wasilla that he wrote for the New York Times in Nov of 2008. OMG it is the funniest article about Sarah and her inability to form a coherent sentence. Check it out!!
ReplyDeleteSorry - that comment was for the second Anon@2:08 about "shame on you."
ReplyDeleteIntouch weekly:
ReplyDeleteBristol "I'll never have plastic surgery"
"Yes my guy friends would always joke and say my mom was hot and it didnt bother me"
She confirms Maks doesn't like her and that he thinks she doesn't deserve to be there
The night before the interview she stayed up until 5am hanging out with a hockey player
Levi's not invited to Tripps bday party
She doesnt feel like shes in her mom's shadow and her whole family are all nonchalant about the whole thing!
"I don't think guys my age are looking to come into a relationship with a baby"
she wants Maci to come to alaska for a playdate
shes not looking for a father figure for Tripp
--
Theres more. I got bored. All in all, I believe shes pretty confident with herself and I'm glad she shot down the PS rumors just because she doesn't look different. Im also glad she stepped up and addressed her not-a-size-zero body. What a good rolemodel for girls
Bagger-bot's are arriving in force today. Gotta defend the Grifter Girls by bashing anyone who speaks their mind. Hahaha. The little twits are rude, vile, vulgar little trailer trash heathens. Sorry, but what else can you come away with when you see and hear these hillbillies. Damn, someone needs to teach those kids about birth control, if for no other reason than STD's. That and to keep them from contaminating the gene pool.
ReplyDeleteCelia @1:59PM, Dick Cavett really hit it on the head in his usual witty way. I have enjoyed him since the sixties. The more the Palin family is exposed the better. Sarah put them all out there and they continue to stay out there. The family narrative Sarah puts out is completely phony.
ReplyDeleteYou really have to feel bad for the 'bots. Their queen was just metaphorically kicked in the teeth by AK as they elected her arch nemesis Senator. The country is getting wise to the Paylin ways through the DWTS debacle, and the entire globe is laughing hysterically that Scarah tells BW she can beat Barack Obama. I mean, it's been a bad week to be a 'bot. (BTW, I know 'bots won't believe it, but it's not a good sign that $P closed her eyes when affirming that she could beat the President. Not a good sign at all.) Anyhoo, hope the 'bots can find a new hobby, because Quitter Queen is falling fast.
ReplyDelete@anon 2:18
ReplyDeleteIf "the f-word and term gay used in the derogatory sense are generational terms" then so is "retard", right? Stop making excuses. Homophobia and gay bashing is wrong, those words should not be used in the derogatory sense at all and those girls need to apologize properly for their vile hate speech.
Anon 2:08 - "Picking on a young girl just because she stood up for her family. Shame Joy"
ReplyDeleteWillfully ignoring facts, whether it comes from the left, right, or center, advances no cause.
Willow and Bristol may have felt like they were defending their family but, in fact, there was no attack on their family to defend. A facebook 'friend' updated his status on his OWN facebook page that he thought SPAlaska was 'failing'. There was nothing personal about the comment.
Bristol and Willow could have reacted in an infinite number of ways. For one, they could have ignored it. Of how about:
"Hey, Tre. Sorry you didn't like the show. I hated having the camera crew around all summer but it was a blast watching Andy sneak up the stairs."
Not to my credit, I found some of the kids had a follow-up conversation after the exchange with the P girls. (The use of foul language is common with this group, btw.) Quite a few of the kids were really upset by the reaction to what was simply an opinion about the show and by the superior attitude and general put down comments, accusations of jealousy, etc. Bristol has been labeled Princess of the Valley Trash because they felt she had labeled everyone who wasn't a Palin as trash.
Even if someone does 'attack', a belligerent and haughty response says more about the responder than the attacker. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone behaved like the Palins, reacting belligerently to every perceived slight about anything connected to them?
Shame on Anon 2:08 for excusing inexcusable behavior.
Sorry - that was for the 3rd 2:08...
ReplyDeleteNo, Joy does not make liberals appear trashy and crass.
ReplyDeleteThis is just another blantant example of the abuse used against anyone says anything against a Palin or other member of the right wing. Stop it.
Yes, teenagers call each other names. But those words are much more common to older generations.
I am not 16, but I am a mother.
Anon 2:40:
ReplyDeleteno doubt bristol will never be a size 0. but the whole weught issue is smoke and mirrors to cover the fact that she is pregnant.
I completely agree, Gryphen. I said it the moment it happened. This is hubris, plain and simple, and it is going to bite them all in their ignorant asses.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother was born in Scotland. I think that makes me eligible to emigrate. I'm seriously thinking Canada if SP gets anywhere near the White House.
ReplyDeleteI also have to say I think there has been a subtle thread of racism in some people's (Bristol's, Carrie Ann's, for ex) characterization of the emotional outcry protesting Brandi's unfair treatment.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like there might be an assumption that black fans of DWTS would automatically support Brandi and be angry with Bristol. All I can say is, don't play the race card Bristol, Brandi is a better dancer so deal with it. White people can see that!
People of color have much to lose if people like the Palins rise up through the political ranks and gain power to legislate. In that sense, black fans of DWTS may feel doubly dealt right now, as they have experienced for decades. To them it is just one more example of unfairness and a sign that these people will stop at nothing come election time.
It made me sick to see the white guys presiding over Charlie Rangel's trial today. I am not saying he is innocent, but many GOP guys are closet racists and the timing of this is not coincidental. I am disappointed in Rangel, that being said. I am sure others have done similar things and just haven't been caught or held responsible. Double standard, as usual.
Why is being attractive after giving birth such a shocker to Willow? Lots of women are pretty after giving birth. We don't make ourselves up every day because we value time with our kids and SLEEP over applying war paint, but we can still make ourselves up to look great.
ReplyDeletePistol the Bristol has more money and can slough her "kid" off on other people. She is their money maker and they will be nice about her even if she slaps them around, yells and screams and is a jerk because the nannies and personal assistants are addicted to her "star power" like Anna Nicole Smith's entourage including doctors and lawyers were to her even though she was doped up much of the time.

ReplyDelete"it's not cheating when the system allows it. It's the fault of ABC."
2:06 PM
--------------------------------------
I think it is cheating. ABC apparently tells viewers how many votes they have, via cell, landline, email. If someone abuses those rules (using many multiples of email addresses, for example), getting away with it doesn't mean it isn't cheating. It is certainly violating the spirit of the rules.
@2:08p.m., All the kid did was say Palin's show is suckish, which it is. He is entitled to his own opinion. She has a right to defend her mother, but her reaction was over the top. It just shows how thin-skinned that "close and happy brood," the Palins are. At least Joy Behar isn't bigot like that little trash-mouth. And, also too, those Palins WOULD justify bigotry, wouldn't they?
ReplyDelete@2:18p.m., $arah Palin at 46, acts like a twelve year old. Palin is crass, and trashy. (As are most conservatives.) There IS a reason most people don't like $arah Palin. That's why she's doing that stupid t.v. show to try repair her "crass" and "trashy" image. I believe $arah Palin is even pictured wearing a t-shirt that says, "Valley Trash," Or, something close to it. (See? Even Palin knows she's trash!) No one said it was only just teabaggers keeping BP on DWTS. But, 95% of them are teabaggers!
@2:22p.m., The Palins are already "scathed." Like Gryphen said, they fuck up everything they touch. The Palins need to take their "close and happy brood" (I swear the Palins have been trolling this place) and go away. Liberals are not "small minded." WE put a black guy in the White House. The G.O.P. are the rich, old, angy, white guy party. "Libtard?" Gosh, isn't that offensive to people with special needs?
Whatever. I'd rather be a "libtard," than a "TEATARD!"
Willow was not defending her family. All the guy said was that the TV show is rubbish. It is.
ReplyDeleteHow is that an attack on the Palin family that warrants the "teen activist" and her mini-me using vile language in public?
What keeps getting lost in this mess - something factual like this always does; it's what the Palins feed on - is that Willow and Bristol were NOT defending their family!!! The only comment was about the SHOW "failing"... every other comment relating to the Palin family was made by one of the Palin girls. Lots of projection, lots of trash talk THEY started, bringing in the family Go back and read the transcript. They jumped the shark. And now every news account takes as fact that they were defending their family, people were attacking their family. That narrative is completely false. Yes, your eyes will water and your head will ache, but go read the actual Facebook exchange. I recommend vodka, very cold, neat.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that the defenders of the Palin girls have children. Would these trolls sanction this hurtful disrespect from their own kids?
ReplyDeleteI don't think those were homophobic comments. Using the word gay and even faggot in that sort of conversation is just more current vocab, and doesn't actually mean that she thinks they are gay. I mean, their level of discourse and defensiveness is the issue here, not homophobia, which doesn't figure here. They may very well be homophobic, but this FB conversation does not reveal that.
ReplyDelete@2:40p.m.,
ReplyDeleteMost girls do not look at Bristol Palin as no damn "role model." She is a joke. She makes being a teen mother look glamourous. If girls are looking for real role models for teenaged mothers, they should watch "16 and Pregnant," and "Teen Mom" on MTV. Watch these girls stuggle to finish school, find work, and pay their bills, while trying to raise their children. Some of them ALONE. Not all the girls are pefectly behaved, but they work hard, they are stressed, and don't have time to be on DWTS!
And why do BP and the rest of the Palins keep rehashing the Levi Johnston crap, and the same old drama? In the real world, most people don't care about whether or not Levi Johnston is invited to Tripp's birthday party, or whatever. Geez.
Anon @ 2:06 PM
ReplyDelete"It's not cheating when the system allows it. It's the fault of ABC."
- - - - -
Cheating is cheating, even if the system allows it.
Why not follow your own moral compass instead of stooping down to the system's standards?
What a PR nightmare the bots have now hoisted on the queen of the facebook realm. Here's why: AMERICANS VALUE HARD WORK! What Palin has inadvertently missed in her lust for fame via her stage momma grizzly schtick is that it is a TOTAL TURNOFF when people game the system in order to get ahead and cast aside those who work hard in order to achieve. This is going to backfire BIG TIME for Team Palin and in the midst of her book coming out where she trashed American Idol, its as if God really DOES have a plan and that is to expose this tea bagged nut as ironically as possible.
ReplyDeleteAnon 2:40 "Theres more. I got bored. All in all, I believe shes pretty confident with herself and I'm glad she shot down the PS rumors just because she doesn't look different. Im also glad she stepped up and addressed her not-a-size-zero body. What a good rolemodel for girls"
ReplyDeleteIs there something wrong with you people? I mean seriously, you are BEING PLAYED LIKE A FIDDLE.
Bristol didn't lose a pound while on DWTS, while others have lost weight, especially Kyle.
Not inviting her son's father to his birthday party is ridiculous and immature. Basically, she is getting even with Levi and that’s not fair to Tripp. Most kids need their fathers in their lives. I don't see what harm it could be in inviting Levi. The Palin’s are rotten to their core. Levi has never harmed his son. He’s a young kid, who made a few mistakes, but what I’ve seen from him so far is a kind person.
Bristol is not a good role model for girls. My daughter is 17 years old and she has a good head on her shoulders. She thinks Bristol is a hypocrite with that abstinent nonsense.
Good role models for girls are Chelsea Clinton and the Bush Twins. These girls finished college and became successful without the public spotlight.
@3:57p.m.,
ReplyDeleteIt was homophobic. She accused the guy of being gay, then berated him for it.
it cracks me up to hear these comments that the girls were "defending their family." what a riot. just another example that the bots have no reading comprehension or critical analysis skills. just how sarah likes 'em.
ReplyDeletewhat a seriously twisted group - both the family and their fans.
on a more serious note, the fact that these people exist in modern times really gives credit to the theory that all humans aren't the same species. some claim that this will happen in the future (humans will split into 2 species), but it seems pretty clear that it's already happened; palin and her crowd belong to one group and rational people who use their brains belong to the other. the differences become more prominent with each passing day.
anon @3:59 pm sez:
ReplyDelete"If girls are looking for real role models for teenaged mothers, they should watch "16 and Pregnant," and "Teen Mom" on MTV. "
well that's the entire problem. teenage mothers should not be glorified, and these corporations should not be using them to make money.
the whole idea that there are tv shows dedicated to watching the actions of teen mothers is sickening. the whole idea that people like the palins glorify and profit from teen pregnancy is sickening.
if bristol TRUELY wanted to be a role model for teen mothers, she'd get a fucking education. instead she's on dancing with the stars, being dragged around the stage by her partner, pointing and posing. wow, what talent! poor tripp. he surely would have been better off if she gave him up for adoption.
The intouch interview was a Q&A. The interviewer asked if Levi's invited. She said probably not, that she rarely speaks to him.
ReplyDeleteLater she says he hasn't seen Tripp in 4 mos, that the 2 times she was in Alaska, he was busy. (yeah I know, dont shoot the messenger)
~~~
I'm at the point where I just say, Bristol, move to AUstralia, start over. Buy your family a house next to yours so they can visit whenever. Both of them need to just move on. Levi is young and lost and obviously still clinging. Bristol is working to make a good life for Tripp. At least she's having fun. Good news for her: nothing will touch her and bring her down. the good news for him, most of america still doesn't know who he is
Lewis Black was on Joy Behar, he said doing acid when he was a kid did not prepare him for Sarah Palin. (or something like that)
ReplyDeleteAnon at 2:40, are you freakin retarded. Role model for young girls, are kidding me. you must be sarah.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the Palin's used Levi on the campaign trail to make it look like their little girl was not a slut because, see, she's getting married. Remember is was only 17 also. As soon as they were done using him they kicked him to to curb.
ReplyDeleteThank you emrysa! It needed to be said. When did having a baby in your 10th grade year become the 'in' thing to do?
ReplyDeleteI have always said I might have respected Sarah Jr. a little more if she had taken some of her initial ill-gotten gains and taken her silly ass to college somewhere (I'm sure one of the ones her mom allegedly attended would love to have her.) What better way for Sarah to show everybody what a prodigy her daughter is than to have her in school and on the Dean's List? Especially since Sarah acts as though Bristol is soooo smart(not smart enough to buy a box of condoms of course, but I digress.)
I think the girls who managed to get through high school and college without getting pregnant are more role model material than Princess Bristol.
..."The f-word and term gay used in the derogatory sense are generational terms."
ReplyDeleteWhaat, are you a moron??? The word faggot was not invented by this generation. It's been around longer than the N word. And it's a coward's word as well, because you can only say it without getting the sh*t beaten out of you if you are on FB or texting.
Just like a snotty bagger to say something like that.
Regarding the comments that Willow and Bristol are just using language that's common to today's teens -- that's true.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER, why are children of a woman who has made herself famous for her religious beliefs following current trends? First, she should be teaching them that this is not acceptable. And, she should be setting that sort of an example at home. Yet, I've often read that Sarah has quite a potty mouth of her own.
Second, as the kids mature, they should be developing their own personal relationship with God. That way, they would choose to use words that were in line with the Bible's teaching. I don't see this growth in the Palin kids.
Side note: Yes, many Christian kids make mistakes and get pregnant. But, if they are really seeking God (not just attending church because their parents force them), they usually ask for forgiveness. Then, they change their ways, instead of continuing to party and dance like a hooker on national television.
I know many families from many faiths -- many Christian ones (Baptist, Mormon, Catholic, Pentecostal, and others) and Jewish. The families choose to speak without cursing (OK, a hammer to the fingernail might elicit a swear word, but those are few and far between). The children are taught that it is not acceptable.
As the kids grow into teens, they make the choice to guard their tongues. If a sibling did say something wrong, the other sibling would correct her (not just join in). Moreover, they hang out with friends who also do NOT swear and curse and insult others.
I do not see that Todd or Sarah have done a good job of passing their supposed beliefs on to their children.
"Great, uhh, I've got a bunch of people over here booing me, and um, not thinking that I deserve this,"
ReplyDeleteThat's right, you pig. You don't deserve it, and I'm glad the audience boo'd you. What happened to all that "support" the right wing radio jocks claimed you had in the audience?
So they boo'd you, just like they boo'd your mother.
Bristol has no interst in being a "role model" for anybody! All she is interested in is the bank role. Mama PAYlin has taught her well...lie cheat and steal. If that fails show your boobs and flaunt your crotch.
Bullpuckey. In the past, there has been, for the most part, an honor system. You get x votes per show an dyou use those votes. Sure, there may have been a few folks who voted both online and on phone or cell and landline. But because it was a lighthearted diversion, no one would bother to cheat, and most of us have always understood and honored that one, person, one vote thingy out of an untrumpeted respect for the ideals of our Constitution, perhaps?
THen along comes $carah and her flying monkeys, who know neither honor, nor ethics, nor the COnstitution and now we have a "fun" show like DWTS needing to make their "system cheat proof.
One more time - thanks a lot, $carah, Brisket and Willgolow.
Let us get real about Willow Palin's outburst:
ReplyDelete1. Name calling is not appropriate behavior. Any sixteen year old should have been taught this.
2. Using sexualy inappropriate names to degrade other people who disagree with you is inapproriate and inmature. A sixteen year old who has been raised in 21 century society should know this.
Whatever:
The real issue is not name calling, but the vicious explosive reaction to the expression of an opinion. Don't try to tell me that WIllow was "defending her family" - her family was not being attacked - an opinion was being stated. Her reaction was innappropriate for the situation nor was it rational. Of course, the teenager could have been under the influence of drugs and/or booze. On the other hand, the teenager both immature, poorly socialized and undereduated, may have been merely copying the behavior of adult role models such as the mother, father and/or grandparents...the more divient the role models and the more isolated the child; the more disturbed the child snd the more erractic the behavior.
While this is all speculation, the reality is that Willow's reaction to this situation has replicated those of her mother in similar situations: vemonous sexually oriented attacks for the slightest imagined offense. The question is why?
..."The real issue is not name calling, but the vicious explosive reaction to the expression of an opinion."
ReplyDeleteI agree. The racist and homophobic words are horrible, but the bigger picture is that they went trolling and cyber-bullied a person they don't even know that well. I don't know why this isn't the focus in the media, instead of the actual words.
She was not being attacked, and no one wrote anything on her FB page. She was the one who decided to gang up on another kid. What is it about these Palin people that they can't EVER do anything one on one. Bristol gets Willow for backup, and other trolling friends. Bristol gets help from 2 radio jocks to trash Levi and Brandy. Bristol can't just have a dance partner like everyone else, she needs the absolute loyalty of a guy like Ballas who defends her and trashes other people for her. Sarah gets backup from Willow to attack a schoolteacher. Sarah gets backup from Todd to attack a guy in an airport.
It's never a fair fight, it's never a one on one kind of thing with them. It's gang behavior. They know the value of a gang and they use it. That's what's scary.
I'm glad this FB thing went public, because you just KNOW this has been going on a long time. The kid was smart enough to take a screenshot of it. If he was another kid, he would have just felt overwelmed and backed down, and other kids would see it and it would have a chilling effect, the one that Bristol wanted. This kid was tied to the whipping post by Bristol to make an example out of him, so she could make other kids shut up and she could laugh later about how she can control everyone and how everyone is a p*ssy. But it backfired big time.
And if you ask me, I think Ballas is DONE - put a fork in him. He'll be off DWTS and promoting his Sarah Palin-backed gigs with his band, or some other career gifted by SP. I just don't see how he can get back his credibility on that show.
ReplyDeleteWe were all scratching out heads why DWTS would pair Bristol with a smaller, shorter, guy who would get a hernia lifting her. Now we know. Because no one other than Ballas would be ok with kissing up to the Palins, making trips out to Alaska, etc. For example, Maks, being taller, would have made a better match but obviously he's not the kind of guy they wanted.
Well, there's no question in my mind the Facebook flame war was atrocious, and those girls should know better.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think "faggot" in that context is about as homophobic as "whore" or "bitch" are sexist in similar contexts.
I don't feel like typing all the reasons, and I'm sure folks will disagree with me because belittling women or reinforcing negative female stereotypes always gets a pass in these contexts. It's so pervasive, people don't even realize the "bitch" and "whore" are sexist.
I'd just like some equal time outrage, but John Lennon was right, so I don't expect any anytime soon.
Comments @8:02 and 1:58 --I agree 100%.
ReplyDeleteThe Palin family use bullying frequently. What I've read about bullying behavior is that it's difficult to change because it's so deeply ingrained in the personality. BUT dealing with bullies is another story and there's a lot of research and info on what to do when confronted with bullying.
(The first rule seems to be isolate bullies from others and never hire one.)
"it's not cheating when the system allows it. It's the fault of ABC."
ReplyDeleteI disagree -- they are going around the system to vote hundreds of times, when the system is supposed to allow only a few. Is it the teacher's fault if kids steal the answers to a test?
If the "abc's fault" logic were true, then David Kernel wouldn't be at fault for guessing Sarah's Yahoo password, it would be Yahoo's fault. He didn't hack, he was just allowed to enter in a easy password answer.
ReplyDeleteWell said. The voting system does have a rule and it is an honor system to use the number of votes allowed. Ethics and principals also come into play here.
It is my belief that there shall ever be a certain element of society that will take advantage or work the system. It has been quite revealing to read posts at C4P and collective aproval and encouragement to work the system to Bristol's advantage.
Posts I have read at C4P are blatant the true agenda is so Bristol win which will serve their greater agenda to put Sarah, their adored one in the whitehousse.
I am aghast at the collective mindset to use Miss Palin opportunistically to further their gains. I do not equate this objectifying of Bristol, the irrational justifications, blame shifting of personal choice to cheat especially while touting christian virtues.
gamed is revealing about the lack of honor, consideration and disregard for christian values.
If a teacher leaves the room, then it musst be the teacher's fault a kid cheats? It is ok at C4P to manipulate popularity, falsely inflate the popularity to achieve your ends. This mind set is in reality pathalogic, deeply falawed thinking.
This orchestrated opportunism disgusts me especially in regard to the ultimate disservice and true discredit of Miss Palin and confirms my past assessment of Sarah Palin and the lack of honor, values, etchics and principals.
The demonstration of the Seven Deadly Sins is to do it and then blame someone else?
The FB rant was not any type of defense. It was a brutal verbally abuse personal attack. I can't stand parents who are so dedicated to prfection of their kids they excuse abusive, trashy, and dysfunctional behaviors.
Role model, my foot! This sums up eveything I worked to teach and model my children how not to be. I am not alone, in fact this goes for the majority.
It is pathetic that the focus that Bristol win at all costs to others, personal honor, respect of rules, taking advnatage of a system, and even costs to Bristol as a person were meaningless.
The irony is people who are not opportunistic, do not believe it's ok to cheat then blame the system have had their past assessment of half term Gov. Palin and her family, their supporters confirmed their judgment of character has been spot on. There is nothing christian nor patriotic about this public boasting to cheat or giving a pass on the FB rant, making exucuses for truly sick and destructive and bullying toxic behavior.
What REAL MOTHER stays up till 5am haning out with a hockey player?
ReplyDeleteI GET UP at 5am to start getting ready for my day. I have to get up early, get myself ready, cook breakfast, get my kid up, feed him, dress him, hit the road, drop him off at daycare, go to work, work ALL DAY, pick him up, go home, get supper, feed the kid, bath the kid, play with the kid, put the kid to bed, do housework, spend time with my husband, go to bed and start all over again at 5AM.
BULLSHIT that she is a working single mom.
BULLSHIT!!
She reminds me of when Paris Hilton was in Arkansas acting like a spoiled brat. Paris complained that so-and-so didn't like her.
ReplyDeleteSo it was the other guys fault, not her awful behaviour, that people didn't want to be around her.
Sounds just like he-doesn't-like-me whine from Bristol - the Paris Hilton of the all-you-can-eat buffet.
It just amazes me that while Sister Sarah went ballistic and demanded an public apology over a sarcastic comment that used the word "retarded" she is silent regarding her own daughters' use of equally offensive phrases that were venomously used. One would think that given her intolerance she would have been blindingly quick to personally and publicly apologize for her 16 year old's failings and for the further fueling of hatred by her elder sister. Just saying...Palins' seem only willing to drive on a one-way street. Not impressed.
