As you can see Track is finally introduced into our living rooms for the obvious purpose of clinching the military support for which Sister Sarah is constantly pandering (Be prepared for much gushing over his selfless decision to join the military), while Trig is trotted back into the limelight to snag the hearts of those extremely important values voters.
Perhaps no two members of the Palin household, other than the Grizzled Mama herself, have a more important role to play in this reality show/political advertisement as do Track and Trig. They are the most essential props in Palin's arsenal, which she can use as shortcuts into the hearts and minds of the conservative voting block in this country. So tonight watch for Palin to go for the hard sell over, and over again.
After all if they don't buy her relationship with these two male members of her family then her political aspirations grind to a screeching halt.
Of course, as usual, the facts do not quite line up with the Palin mythology.
Track was a troubled young man, as almost ANYBODY in Wasilla could confess, and even after his return form active duty his behaviors have not improved. As a matter of fact, if anything they have deteriorated.
The very last thing that Track needs is to be thrust into the spotlight to quench his mother's overpowering thirst for media attention and adulation from her supporters. But as with every member of the Palin family, his needs come a distant second to Sarah's ambitions.
But "Shhh" don't tell the Palin-bots. If we were to introduce facts into the Palin political fable they might find themselves unable to see things in the simple black and white they must, in order to digest the steady flow of mooseshit that Snowdrift Snooki constantly shovels into their receptive little brains.
BTW for those still curious about Track's military career, and why it seemed so short, here is a copy of his discharge papers that were received through a simple records request.
As for Trig, well it should be obvious to any of us who have raised our own children, and especially those who have raised Special Needs children, that Sarah does not even remotely provide for this little boy's needs.
And if you have any doubts about that just watch to see how often he is wearing his glasses and hearing aids. Taking them off for a photo op is one thing, but this is supposed to be Trig in his natural environment during his day to day activities.
Now if those conservative Mama Grizzlies that support Palin due to her parenting skills weren't complete hypocrites they would call her out for allowing her child to interact with a world he can barely see or hear, instead of providing him the means to use all of his faculties to gather and understand as much information about his environment as possible.
But don't hold your breath.
Update: This is how Trig should have appeared during this entire segment, but if you watched like I did you know that he NEVER had either his glasses on or his hearing aids in.
What do the separation code and separation authority codes stand for? Anyone know? And how did Track get out when others are being sent back against their will? Heck, if he was as patriotic as Sarah tries to make him out, why isn't he still in?
ReplyDeleteMy best guess as far as far as why he joined, was to get the signing bonus to pay for the damage from the school bus vandalism incident. Another rumor I've heard is that the Palins went after the ex brother-in-law Whooten so hard because he was one of the arresting officers in the vandalism case.
Have also heard from kids about Track's age that when getting messed up at parties, he would seriously bad mouth his mother and talk about how much he hated her.
Rick
I have seen a clip "teaser" from tonight's show, which I do not plan to watch. There will be tears tonight when Palin talks about Trig. Since I think she is incapable of crying except maybe for herself, naturally I know it is staged, but it will grab the sarahford loyal.
ReplyDeleteCould not see Track's service dismissal - am not exactly genius when it comes to computer. Is the trouble that Track got in before he enlisted documented any where, like the newspapers, court hearings, etc.? No one believes me when I tell them about him.
Oh, and being a setnetter isn't that much about being a great or smart fisherman. It's more like buying property. Location, location, location. There are places where fish hit better than other places and if your site is in a good location, you do good. If your site isn't, you don't do as well. Drifting on the other hand, takes some savvy. You have to figure out where the fish will be on a certain stage of the tide with whatever the current weather is doing and outfox the other drifters to get the best sets.
ReplyDeleteNot saying Todd doesn't know his stuff for what he does, but that his success comes less from his knowledge and more from the location of his site.
Rick
Federal record on Track (thanks for sharing it!)which sister Sarah could not stop people from accessing. Interesting he only had a two-year term. Wonder how she is going to spin that?!!!
ReplyDeleteRemember though that she did stop access to the youngest ones birth certificate in Juneau. And, I suspect the Parnell Administration is carrying that forward for her.
Again, I so hope the Palin group falls off the face of the earth...we are so sick of them...especially in Alaska!
Track was born April 20. You know who else was born April 20?

anyone else hear that ????
What is Track's middle name on that form? It looks like it starts with a C or is it CJ?
ReplyDeleteC for Curtis as in Curtis Menard?
Or CJ as in Curtis Jr?
Adolph Hitler
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of being labeled a Palin-bot:
ReplyDeleteI showed this to my fiance, who has been in the military since his high school graduation. He says this looks less like a discharge and more like the form that shows a move from active to reserve duty (which they would file after a Guard member comes back from Iraq/Afghanistan).
In other words, nothing too unusual at first glance. Sorry guys.
I still think something's fishy about the whole story, though.
Gryph: When you get a chance and if you know, please explain why Track only did 2 years in the Army. If I'm not mistaking, the only time anyone did only two years was those DRAFTED during the Viet Nam era.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
my daughters did two years each in the late '70's. They went in as specialists.
DeleteOh...missed something. He's still in. The "reserve obligation termination date", or the end of his contract, is listed as 9/10/2015. A total of 8 years. And he isn't eligible for the other half of his enlistment bonus until 1/2 of his contract, or 4 years, is up.
ReplyDeleteAnon@ 1:56 pm: His middle name is CJ, after Curtis Jr.
"Citing an anonymous judicial source, the Anchorage radio station 1080 KUDO was the first to report last week that Track Palin was the unidentified 16-year-old delinquent who not only trashed the buses but also swiped the bottle of alcohol that fueled the teen rampage.
ReplyDeleteBut rumors quickly swirled Track was forced to join up as penance for the alleged vandalism."
anon@ 2:08
ReplyDeleteWhere is that quote from?
So what does Todd think about Track's middle name coming from Sarah's lover Curtis Menard?
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know what Track did in Iraq? I heard he just drove officers around on post.
ReplyDeleteEnjay from Mont, She says, "Piper, he has Down's Syndrome."
ReplyDeleteRick
How did he get out so fast? Soldiers had to do several tours in Iraq and Track was in and out before you can say caribou?
ReplyDeleteNo CIB is shown in his awards. That's a Combat Infantry Badge, given to ALL infantrymen and special forces who ACTIVELY participate in combat. Just being in Iraq does not make him a combat veteran as Sarah brags. Another lie to build herself up. Track served with a Stryker Brigade but clearly did not take part in combat or he'd have a CIB.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I was looking for this. Without the CIB, an infantrymen is not considered a Warfighter. If Track has PTSD, it's not from combat.
DeleteIf you look at box 14 of Track‘s discharge papers, it verifies Track is Sarah’s son.
ReplyDelete14. MILITARY EDUCATION: NONE
There is something incriminating on this document. It's what you would see if Track had actually served in combat. And it isn't there. There is no Combat Infantry Badge (CIB). If you serve in combat you get one automatically. Track may be a veteran, but he is NOT a combat veteran.
ReplyDeleteif God wanted Trig to see and hear then he would have been born that way!!! duh
ReplyDelete- kellygrrrl
Army Separation Code MBK means Expiration of Term of Service. So he made it through a two year enlistment and was honorably discharged while others are forced to re-up and go back to Iraq and Afghanistan for 3, 4, 5 deployments. Why would they allow a young guy's two year term to expire and just let him go? Because as desperate as they are for warm bodies, he wasn't worth keeping is my opinion and because of his mother it was easier to just let his term expire and let him go than to give any other reason.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts as to parenting skills of both little ones comes to mind. Trig, who should be going on 3 has minimal verbal skills. I already forget whether it was a comment said by her in a video or in written text as there has been so much media recently, but it jumped out in that should he be receiving proper special needs assistance by qualified personnel, he should have some verbal skills.
ReplyDeleteIt appears no different with Tripp by the comment that he still was not addressing Sarah by 'nana' or 'gran' or something. He's almost 2.
Are these kids not spoken to? Makes you wonder. If the book reading on the bus from last book tour was an indication, the book was upside down and Trig was flipping pages while she talked in an interview. Guess reading isn't high on the list to either little one.
Add the fact that in most pics/video seen of Trig, he's still being carried - A Lot.
Why would anybody give their son the middle name Cutis Jr which belongs to another man Curtis Menard who is not Sarah's husband?
ReplyDeleteThen as mayor she names the hockey rink Menard Sports Center after Curtis Menard. Then Curtis Menard mysteriously dies in a plane crash when someone mixed water with his fuel. Did anybody smell Todd's hands or clothes for fuel odors?
Thanks Rick @ 2:14
ReplyDeleteI wasn't picking up on Piper HE's got DS
No CIB is very telling. It is extremely heinous to go around saying you are a combat veteran when you have no CIB. People that do this are considered the lowest of the low in military circles.
ReplyDelete@Rick, 1:29, MBK has two definitions that I found:
ReplyDeleteMBK - Completion of active duty service commitment or expiration of term of service, USAF
MBK - Expiration of Term of Service
Didn't her son tell Sarah to keep him out of her politics? I must say I am a bit surprised he actually became a part of her unreality Alaskan farce.
ReplyDeleteSo now all the Curtis Menard Jr. references and his alcohol and drug fueled teen insanity and criminality will be even bigger fodder. Does this woman's narcissism know no bounds? Of course the kid wasn't in combat. I know the military was hard up for a while and were dropping some standards; but I doubt a kid who may have had an alcohol and drug dependency problem who may have been responsible for cutting brakes on a school buses PROBABLY was not at the top of the list to be sent out into combat with a weapon.
Jeez, does this woman have any unscarred kids?
1:36,There is a magnifying glass in the bottom right hand corner with a down arrow beside it. You can click on the arrow to increase of decrease size of the screen.
ReplyDeleteFor those who are asking why Todd and Sarah would have given Track the middle name of "Curtis" you should also know that Curtis Menard was Track's godfather.
ReplyDeleteAnd doesn't THAT sound exactly like something Sarah would do?
In past media it was stated that Track went to Michigan for his last school year. To take the heat off him for the vandalism? To keep him from continuing the troubling behavior which might eventually be able to embarrass $P enough to do damage to her "queenly" character?
ReplyDeleteAlso, there was written notation that the school bus area where the damage took place was in Wooten's territory and he had to investigate the damages.
Does anyone recall what the punishment was for the boys who were named and supposedly reprimanded but didn't rat on Track publicly?
Was there not a question about the boat registration and/or fishing license of Palins raised some time ago? Could have been at the time of the Pres/VP campaign.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't Sarah Palin have a normal child birth without controversy.
ReplyDeleteHer son Track Palin looks like Curtis Menard and Track has "Curtis" as his middle name.
Trig Palin is Bristol's first born which Sarah claims is her son from her Wild Ride from Texas.
As far as Tripp Palin Johnston goes, Sarah already admitted she wanted to adopt Bristol's second child Tripp and hide Bristol‘s pregnancy from the public.
So he just served long enough for his
ReplyDeletemother to rub it in our faces?
I"m pretty sure Track's middle name is Charles James. He is still dating Britta
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know how long Track was actually stationed in Iraq? Do not count training days in the United States.
ReplyDeleteanon at 2:47
ReplyDeleteI'm not aware of anyone reporting that Track has claimed he's a combat veteran. Only his mother has done that.
People keep saying Track does not have a Combat Infantry Badge Award while in the US Army. Has anybody checked with the North Korean Army?
ReplyDeleteIntroducing Piper to her cousin Matthew with DS.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Sarah state a few years ago and it may have been in her last book too, that she didn't know anyone with DS before Trig.
That appears IMO to blow that statement up too in that Matthew appears to be about 8 to 10 years old.
Are we going down the road of 'using' Matthew now?
Crocodile tears -- Pure BS in that Trig appears to have not received any professional assistance with regard to DS.
GRyphen, why are you being an immature dick? Even if the rumors about Track's past are true, he's obviously turning his life around. Why degrade him before you see the episode? FRom what I've witnessed of the family in person, the first two episodes are pretty spot on as far as interaction goes. BRistol wasn't bullshitting when she said in an interview, "we're not going to not be ourselves in the series"
ReplyDeleteAnd after viewing recent family pictures with Track in them, he's pretty close to the Dillingham family and he's also pretty protective and big brotherly of his sisters. BRistol did say he narced on her for being a stoner.
Track looks just like Chuck Jr. Big time. THe family all comment on the resemblance

From ADN, December, 2005:
ReplyDeleteFour high school students were arrested Monday on charges stemming from vandalism last week that disabled a school bus fleet, closing core-area schools for a day in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District, according to the Alaska State Troopers. Three boys -- a 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds -- were taken to the Mat-Su Youth Facility after their 10:30 a.m. arrests at their homes. The fourth, Deryck Harris, 18, was arrested at 2:51 p.m. at home and jailed at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility.
If this is true and Mr. Menard is the godfather it makes absolute sense he would approach Sarah about her poor parenting skills. I am still trying to remember where that information came from. And, if he was her middle and high school crush this is just beyond weird. I also think this odd relationship is addressed by the writer of one of her bios. Maybe she had to get ahead of this story a long time ago. I feel so sorry for her son. Track really deserved better than he received.
ReplyDeleteTrack's full name is Track Charles James Palin.
ReplyDeleteCharles & James are for his 2 grandparents, Charles (Chuck) Heath and James Palin.
Sorry, I didn't save the link where I originally found the info but it is on Todd's Wiki page and Bristol Imbd page .
Four teens arrested in Mat-Su vandalism
ReplyDeleteANCHORAGE - Alaska State Troopers on Monday arrested four young men suspected of disabling buses last week in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District, which forced the school district to cancel classes for nearly 15,000 students.
A 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds were arrested at their homes and taken to the Mat-Su Youth Facility, Troopers spokesman Greg Wilkinson said. They were to be charged as juveniles.
Deryck Harris, 18, was also arrested at his home and taken to Mat-Su pretrial, where he was charged as an adult, Wilkinson said.
All four faced charges of criminal mischief, trespassing and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief, Wilkinson said.
The 16-year-old suspect also faced additional charges of theft and furnishing alcohol to a minor. Troopers allege he stole a bottle of vodka from a local liquor store the night of the vandalism and supplied it to the group.
Employees of First Student, the school district's bus contractor, showed up for work early Nov. 29 and noticed flat tires on multiple buses parked at the company headquarters on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.
An investigation revealed that 69 tires on 45 of the contractor's 97 buses had been flattened in the unfenced yard. The vandals had removed the tire valves from many of the tires.
Also, cords plugged to engine block heaters had been detached from 93 buses. Temperatures had fallen to 9 degrees below zero.
Damage was estimated at more than $10,000.

I gotta say, that picture of Trig in the previous story looks a lot like Levi.
ReplyDeleteAs a veteran myself, I don't see anything unusual about Track's discharge paper. He put in his two years and got out. Sarah spins it like he's a combat hero, but what has she ever NOT lied about?
ReplyDeleteTrack did not go to jail for vandalizing school buses, he chose
ReplyDeleteIraq instead.
What about Willow, she did not go to jail for breaking and entering. Did she choose to go to Iraq too if she finishes high school.
Piper is not going to school.
ReplyDeleteDid Piper choose to go to North Korea instead of going to prison?
I wonder if the three boys that we arrested in the morning ratted on the 18 year old (Deryck Harris) arrested in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteSince Harris was 18, was he ever prosecuted as an adult? Perhaps someone knows him and can find out a little more information.
ROFLOL, SARAH PALIN CLAIMS TO BE A MOTHER OF A COMBAT VETERAN.
ReplyDeleteLOL, she is the mother of a combat veteran of the Mat-Su Youth Facility. LOL
"Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on Saturday to urge tens of thousands of conservative activists to honor the men and women in the military.
The former Alaska governor said she was speaking not as a politician but as the mother of a combat veteran…."
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2010/08/sarah-palin-restoring-honor.html
Without his glasses and hearing aids, Trig doesn't have to see nor hear $P's evil.
ReplyDeleteThis "reality show" of Palin's is simply a convenient way to legitimize her naked exploitation of her family to bolster her "Mamma Grizzly" mythology. Her highly paid consultants probably told her she can't use her family as a credential for higher public office, but Sarah knows that's all she's got. This way, she can claim they are part of the show...except the show is supposed to be about Alaska... well, never mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat better way to do this than to stage warm Palin family moments, including those "embarrassing" moments Palin agrees to keep in, just to showcase how "real" they are. Except that those moments are all carefully planned and vetted to appeal to her base and the "normal" people who don't know much about her.
No surprise here that Trig gets to star in the episode where we meet the other DS child in the family, a tender moment that brings the tough Mamma Grizzly to tears.
Yeah, more tears that she wiped away the night she left him after his surgery to satisfy her attention addiction disorder.
What a repulsive woman. How can people buy her shtick? She is just so OBVIOUS.
"after viewing recent family pictures with Track in them, he's pretty close to the Dillingham family and he's also pretty protective and big brotherly of his sisters. BRistol did say he narced on her for being a stoner."
ReplyDeleteAs I understand it, he also described her to Ben, her most recently acknowledged boyfriend, as a "four-letter word" and that Ben deserved better. Doesn't sound terribly protective to me- at least, not protective of Bristol.
"if this is true and Mr. Menard is the godfather it makes absolute sense he would approach Sarah about her poor parenting skills."
Really? Is that typical for godfathers? I ask because I was raised in a christian church that had godparents- in fact, my own kids were baptized in that tradition and have godparents- and I never heard of any godparent addressing how the parents are raising the kid. My understanding is that the godparents' function is to ensure that their godchild is raised as a christian- nothing else.
I think Curtis Menard's approach to Sarah about her childrearing (or lack of) is extremely strange. Way beyond the bounds of godparenthood or friendship, especially with someone as hostile and vindictive as Palin.
Ivyfree
"... You know, say what you want to say about me, but I raised a combat vet, and you can't take that away from me," Palin said.

Care to change your story Sarah? Looks like we can take it away from you.
Sarah you did not raise a combat veteran. You raised an underage delinquent who chose the Army instead of prison.
Sarah don't you hate the internet? People fact check you all the time and now you have embarrassed your non-combat son just because you want to make a name for yourself, "the mother of a combat vet". Which Palin kid is next that you are going to throw under the bus?
ReplyDeleteAll Track wanted to do was avoid jail time and now you made him another Palin laughing stock.

Talk about how easily RUBES are convinced of distorted reality, this group is made up of the champions of propaganda...truly pathetic that ANYone would pay to go to something these assholes are part of.
I haven't seen anything about Track's bad behavior since he returned from Iraq. Any info anybody ?
ReplyDelete2011 Track gets married...
Delete2012 Track gets divorced, keeping his gun collection.
2014 - depending on who you beleive, either Track Palin became intoxicated, and was at the heart of the family brawl started at a private party... Or the Palin family (violently) came to Bristol's defense after being insulted.
2016 - Track is arrested for domestic violence...beating the shit out of his girlfriend while waving a gun & heavily intoxicated.
Sarah Palin immediately attempts to blame it of POTUS because her son has PTSD...but apparently, the guy didn't have Combat credit on his service record...and saw exactly 2 years of military service - and 3 years inactive service. He was NOT called back. Rumors thw only service he saw was as a driver. No combat whatsoever. His service obligation ended in 2015.
Now she's makin' things up about the troops! Seriously this time, Sarah, for the sake of the troops please stop making things up, about the troops, or at least about your troop.
ReplyDeleteGeez, does she think no one is ever going to fact check her? Hasn't she learned by now that people DO fact check her every utterance? I can't help but think she is so deep into her own myth and revisionist life history that she believes it all herself now.
Is that true that Tri-G can barely see or hear?
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad. I have seen at least one picture with the glasses but not hearing aids.

Since when is an enlistment for 2 years only?
ReplyDeleteI have a nephew who was first an enlisted soldier in the Army, then became an officer. He has at least a 10 year commitment, which is still working off.
Is it typical that enlisted soldiers are only committed for 2 years?
He joined the Reserves, 2 years active duty but an 8-year total obligation, which apparently was up in 2015.

Not sure, but if Todd's crew kept fishing when he rushed home in the middle of the season for Sarah's "Quitting", then all were breaking the law. I'll check on that and see what I can find.
Rick
Aren't recruits usually put in the Reserves if they are not on active duty? Is Track in the Reserves?
ReplyDeleteDoes this chart shed any light on things?
(from a Q & A for "Support Army Recruiting", on a US Army website)
What is the average term of service for new recruits?
Below are the average terms of service for Active Army and Army Reserve accessions without previous military service for fiscal years 2005-2008.
Active Army: Army Reserve:
FY 09 47.9 months 71 months
FY 08 47.9 months 71.1 months
FY 07 47.9 months 71.5 months
FY 06 47.5 months 71.6 months
FY 05 47.7 months 71.6 months

ReplyDeleteMaybe Sarah can buy Track a Combat Infantry Badge at her favorite consignment store in Wasilla?
ReplyDeleteDoes Trig live with the Palin's or with his real family?
ReplyDeleteWondering if the recent surgery was possibly to correct or improve hearing loss or for that matter it could have been a surgery to improve vision issues (lazy eye muscles, etc.)
ReplyDeleteThere is no excuse for this child to be "cut off" from hearing and seeing the world. I would guess that there is a paid someone who does all the therapies with this child and has the patience to work with him to develop his abilities to stand and walk. Everybody else it too busy with their blackberry.
Gryphen - Thanks for including Track's discharge doc.
ReplyDeleteHow sad and embarrassing for Track that his mother isn't proud of him and his service as it was and, instead, has to exaggerate that he was a combat vet.
I guess it will remain a mystery why his active service wasn't extended.
I'm no longer interested in Sarah's show so won't be watching. Those who do, keep in mind how Sarah talked about not knowing about DS and how hard it was to find information. She obviously wasn't interested in this cousin before she had an opportunity to use him as a prop for her show. I'm losing patience.
Separation codes list specific reasons for discharge. You can have honorable or general discharge with a slightly negative discharge code. The Feds have been making them difficult to find since 1999 when Pres. Bush's discharge papers were published.
ReplyDeleteThe main question on the discharge is how/why he was discharged. He received an enlistment bonus for a two year commitment, and served an extra four months. It seems odd that a regular Army soldier who can be recalled until 2015 was not retained on Active duty. We have soldiers being retained well beyond their obligation dates. Some are wounded, but getting recalled for duty. We have National Guard units in Iraq and Afghanistan who never should have been sent overseas. They are supposed to stay here to defend and help with disasters at home.
Re Trig's hearing aids and glasses (or lack thereof): From the promo photos published on the show's Web site, it seems those two different Trigs ('round-ear' Trig and 'pointed-ear' Trig) are still around, even in this show. Maybe only one of them needs glasses and hearing aids. So, if Trig would be wearing glasses and hearing aids one moment, and the next moment he wouldn't it might raise suspicions. Just a guess. But if this is indeed the reason then she truly is a monster for using these two boys in such a despicable way.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Track's discharge papers, he was born 4/20/89, which would have made him 16 years old on Nov. 29, 2005, the date of the vandalism. Does anyone know what happened to all four of the boys involved? Were any of them charged? Was Track a student at Wassilla high school at that time? Was it after this incident that he went to school in Michigan? And was it a high school or did he go to college there? In fact, did he ever finish high school?
ReplyDeleteSarah believes in Don't Ask Don't Tell:
ReplyDelete"Don't ask" Track if he is a combat veteran and Track "Don't tell" anybody that you are not a combat veteran.
Mommy's secret!
Not that you want to hear her voice, but here is link to a 2009 vid she did with regard to Special Olympics.
ReplyDeleteNote her holding Trig who is wearing his glasses. He may have a hearing aid on which I can't tell (I need new glasses!).
See how focused Trig is - watching Piper or looking up at Sarah as she speaks. Something I don't notice him doing most times as he's not wearing his glasses or having hearing aid in.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qkxg2g-l4xs
Many people may not understand how critical it is for Trig to wear his glasses and hearing aids. At his age, the dendrites are forming and storming based on the use it or lose it principle. If he can't see or hear, his brain isn't forming the connections around images and sounds that he will need to make sense in the world. To further disable Trigg like this is sinful.
ReplyDeleteIf it's true that Trig does not wear his glasses and hearing aids daily ALONG with speech/language therapy, auditory therapy, occupational and physical therapy, then THIS IS CHILD ABUSE!!!! And it's despicable!! What the he'll is wrong with Palin and her family? Are they that ignorant about appropriate intervention for a handicapped child??
ReplyDeleteAnd to her supporters, how do they excuse this? Hey Mansour..are you that uneducated that you don't see how wrong this is?
Having some lady who used to be a teacher, work with Trig, is inappropriate and child abuse. Doesn't anyone care??
Anonymous @ 3:12 when Levi spoke about $arah wanting to adopt their child, I still believe she was talking about Trig. If you think about it, if she had been referring to Tripp, how could she have possibly explained wanting to adopt an infant after just having an infant with Downs Syndrome? Why would anyone with her "responsibilities" as Governor take on a second infant, especially an adopted child, when she had a child who was only 7 months old, which is how old Trig would have been if she was referring to Tripp.
ReplyDeleteThis was a slip-up that Levi made, either intentionally or not realizing that the idea of her supposedly wanting to adopt Tripp would have been a ridiculous step for her at the time. The idea of her hiding Bristol's pregnancy with Tripp wasn't believable, either, as she was already under consideration for V.P. candidate even if the idea was remote.
What do you think about this idea? Does this make more sense to you now that you hear this possibility? IMO, she did adopt that baby that she wanted to in order to hide Bristol's pregnancy and that baby was Trig. He was born earlier than we thought and that is why some of the comments made by the rest of the family didn't make sense. The one I'm referring to that was out of line was Bristol saying that telling her parents she was pregnant with Tripp was harder than labor. How would she know that if she hadn't been through labor yet?
well I guess andrew sullivan will need to add "I raised a combat vet" to the list of lies.
ReplyDeleteHey REBECCA MANSOUR !!!!
ReplyDeleteWe know you read these blogs!! You call people freaks on twitter along with all kinds of other choice names, but you condones Palins mistreatment of Trig!!!??
Come on Palinbots! Let's hear your ignorant excuses for this abuse! Or if there is something we don't know, please tell us to put our minds at ease!
WHAT TYPES of EDUCATIONAL and MEDICAL intervention is Trig receiving????????
Anon 7:08: "Bristol saying that telling her parents she was pregnant with Tripp was harder than labor. How would she know that if she hadn't been through labor yet?"
ReplyDeleteGood point, and I hadn't caught that. I was focussed on the OTHER story of Bristol telling her parents about a pregnancy that was greeted with giggles, according to this version, which is not the right source: the primary source was a Brit tabloid, which was an interview with Sherry Johnston, which I can't find right now.
So the difficult announcement to her parents was the Trig pregnancy (which she subsequently described as "harder than labor" -- on a Greta interview), and the easy one was the Tripp pregnancy, I always assumed.

I watched the second episode and pieces of the tonight's. Hollywood Barbie is trying much too hard to present a particular image of herself and her family and it comes across as being very fake. The show's title should actually be "My Show All About Me". And that's precisely why no one is watching. Oh, and her screeches...
ReplyDeleteHow did he qualify for an enlistment bonus of $20,000? And what is his reenlistment code?
ReplyDeleteThis was a comment I read on line in answer to a question about 2 year army enlistment:
ReplyDeleteYou can join for two years but it isn't guaranteed you will only serve two years. You could be stop-lossed for a deployment if you unit is about to go to Iraq or Afghanistan. Also, your contract is for eight years. If you get out at two years you are still subject to the IRR and can be called back in. Don't listen to that guy at the top, you can join until you are 42
MY comment on Bristol's pregnancy statement: when she told Greta telling her parents was harder than labor, she had experienced labor by THEN so she could compare it that way. About Trig, he does live with them; Willow has frequently expressed great enthusiasm over both the babies.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I buy the whole "Sarah wanted to adopt L and B's baby" story. It doesn't exactly jibe well with anything else. If Sarah took Bristols phone away immediately learning of the PG, she was trying to detach herself from the situation probably out of fear. That summer and in August, the family was seen out together a lot...
ReplyDeleteWhy does nothing from anyone's mouth make sense in this story? We have a fame seeking, lazy Levi; jealous, i-never-loved-him Bristol; attention seeking, i'll-say-anything Mercede; the father of the bride who acts as father to his grandchild
What's up with all those medals he received??? Do ALL enlisted guys get them????
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I will not watch the show, but I did watch the trailer.
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't waste my time, but I will. Of all the possible fishing families to film, they gotta pick them.
Here's a fishing family that does very very well. It's a real boat, with a real crew. Girls, even.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUCXlK3kod0&feature=related
Sarah says "We've been fishing in these waters, since before we were married, blah blah blah." Well, yes and no. As always, she presents it her way. That's quite expansive, Sarah, except that "these waters" are pretty big. Todd doesn't fish all over. He fishes a very specific shore-based location, pre-determined and registered. With a little sign posted at the beachhead. Which is on the west side, Coffee Point? He can't fish any other site; it's illegal and encroaches on some other setnetter's site. They are set-netters, not boat fishermen. They can't just go wherever they fancy.
Notice how clean and calm everything is. And how many people they have in that skiff. Oh wait, they're not actually fishing - it's a photo shoot.
At 16 seconds, I don't see the beach. That net isn't anchored to the shore. It appears that they are drifting, which Todd doesn't have a permit for. And it doesn't look like Coffee Point either.
I see net in the water, fish on-board. Did Sarah and those girls have crew licences, I wonder? They are handling fish. Photo shoot or not, there's no gray area there.
Was it an actual legal opener, or did they run out there and put the net in during a closed period? How about that beach?
That looks an awful lot like upriver. Wood River Special Harvest Area was open July 6 and 7. Mostly night time for setnetters. I don't see any nearby action. No boats, no skiffs. Sarah Twittered on July 6th and 7th. Where was she, exactly?
And that's an awfully long 25 fathoms...
Fish and Game, you've got it on film. Do you need us to write letters to the Entry Commission or are you going to make some kind of statement?
Girl squeals "Oh, this is more than fish than I've ever seen!"
I see fewer than 20 fish in the bottom of the skiff. Is that because she doesn't actually fish, so she doesn't have a sense of volume? Is that because Todd might be fishing in closed waters? Is it because he's not at his beach setnet site, so he's getting more of a load than he usual does?
Track says Dad's one of the best fishermen around. Oooh, that's some very big words. And nobody's gonna forget you said that.
Here's some people fishing:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzqlMlWR9OY&feature=related
I couldn't help myself and took a peak at the photos on TLC's website. tlc.discovery.com/tv/sarah-palin-alaska/sarah-palin-pictures/sarah-palin-pictures.html
Photo #1 - "Here's the Palin family with Sarah's mother, together in the kitchen." It's not the Palin family and it's not Sarah's mother. It's Todd's grandmother with what looks hired hands or maybe family friends?
Photo #19 - "Sarah Palin checks fishing nets for holes." BWAA haaa hhhaaa haaa...hee hee...ehhh. I don't know what the hell they were thinking when they staged that photo, or if they thought that was a candid moment of Sarah really doing something, but that's not an intact net. She appears to be ripping up handfuls of old web.
Whatever.
I haven't seen any full episodes but in all the teaser trailers and other clips that feature Track I thought he just looked sad. I read one recap (sort of) of the latest episode, and it seemed to confirm that impression. I'm a mother of two (roughly the age of the oldest Palin kids), and I would never, ever do to my children what she does to hers. Not for any money in the world.
ReplyDeleteCurtis Menard didn't die in a plane crash, he died in 2009 at the age of 64 - I think he had cancer.
ReplyDeletewww.frontiersman.com/.../obituaries/doc49b0d084211e5275050007.txt
Is it proper to call Native Alaskans Eskimos? For some reason, I thought this was an antiquated term.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the show, but I was on the phone with a friend who was watching it and he said SP said something like my kids grandparents are real Alaskan Eskimos (or something similar) and then one of the grandparents said "I just love my white grandkids."
This made me kind of cringy, but after I thought about it, I wasn't sure if it was actually improper to use the term Eskimo or not, so now I am asking :)
Any news on the ratings/viewership for tonight's SPA?
ReplyDeleteThe two episodes tonight was depressing. Why? Because "Sarah Palin's Alaska" in NOT the way of life I (nor my friends) grew up in - ours was more like a Greek tragedy in both Anchorage and Wasilla.
ReplyDeleteSadly, there are members of my family that think Sarah is the greatest - forgetting that most women in Alaska do not have a supportive and extended family like Sarah's. Is she familiar with the Anchorage Women's Shelter for example or even care? Bean's Cafe? Seasonal unemployment checks?
Something is very wrong with Sarah - she may by lucky in many ways, but in other areas she is entirely lacking - like critical thinking and intelligence. She truly believes everyone should be happy, happy, joy, joy and that people who disagree with her in ANY aspect are idiots/liberals/elitist - just bad, bad people. This alone makes her a VERY dangerous person to be CONSIDERED as POTUS.
Little Matthew. What a shame. The Dillingham/Manokotak family allowed Sarah Palin to pimp their little boy for this show.
ReplyDeleteThat little boy is NOT Sarah's cousin. He's the child of one of Todd's cousins.
They are not buddies or family that spend time together. There's no special bond. It's doubtful that that particular family had even ever met Sarah before she was governor, or campaigning. I think they probably first met in 2007 when Sarah had a formal purpose in meeting her.
This was the first time Sarah and cousin Piper had met Matthew. Does that tell you anything about that relationship and Sarah's interest in special-needs kids? She didn't even know this child existed until he was useful as a prop for her show.
So did Sarah raise a combat vet like she said she did or is it another "Look at me I'm Sarah Palin" lie?
ReplyDeleteMy question...how did track make spec4 in 2.5yrs with no extra training.
ReplyDeleteDid he go in as as E1, infantry?
In order to go in @ E3 he would need 2yrs of college which he did not have.
Poor Sarah.
ReplyDeleteWhat's more embarassing:
1. Your underage high school daughter is pregnant without a husband.
2. Your underage son had to choose the Army over jail time.
3. Your underage daughter was the ring leader of a breaking and entering gang.
4. Your underage son was involved in vandalizing school buses which could of led to children's injuries.
5. Your underage daughter was seen dealing drugs.
6. Sarah told everybody she raised a combat vet and it turns out to be another Palin lie.
7. Sarah finds out her daughter is homophobic.
8. Sarah finds out her daughter wants to give America the finger on DWTS.
The only Palin kid that does not get into trouble is Bristol's son Trig and they treat him like he is a sack of potatoes and they abuse him by taking away his glasses, hearing aid and shoes. Bristol's other little boy is abused as well. He is confused who his mother is, nobody told him that his mother was in LA dancing the night away and bulking up on cheeseburgers and cheesecakes.
So Sarah wants the keys to America and she can't even control her own kids.
On April 20, 1889 Adolf Hitler was born and exactly 100 years later to the day, Track Palin was born.
ReplyDeleteSarah proudly claims she gave birth to a combat vet, I wonder if Little Adolf’s mommy said the same thing. The problem is Little Track was never in combat like his mommy said he was.
My how history repeats itself, Little Adolf and Little Track both grew up terrorizing their communities, they both lived off the sweat of others and they both loved their drugs.
Eventually the Hitler dynasty was destroyed.
The End.
Interesting, I looked up Iraq combat vet on the internet and I did not see a picture of Sarah's son Track.
ReplyDeleteI posted this link over on PG just now as well. David Frum also watches SPalaska.. so you don't have to. he makes some observations about Todd and Track. (They don't seem to like each other )
ReplyDeleteWorth checking out.
http://www.frumforum.com/we-watch-sarah-palins-alaska-so-you-dont-have-to?utm_source=FrumForum+Twitter&utm_medium=twitter
While trolling through the channel guide last night at 10:00pm on TLC it said Show to be Announced. So wondering why they don't have an actual show listed I clicked and was brought to Todd standing by a boat. I immediately changed the channel. Perhaps a trick to get people to actually watch. I've boycotted all Discovery/Science/TLC/et. all stations so that I don't have to be molested by the cross channel advertising for the SP show.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the reentry code? That's pretty vital. He might have served "honorably", but barely... so that his absence would actually be an improvement to unit strength and morale.
ReplyDeleteA major point is his total lack of education!
The military has several programs to further the education of its members. Even if Track didn't graduate from High School, he could have taken classes and got a GED. He could have taken correspondence courses or internet courses. He could have signed up for trade-school classes. ANY of these would improve his chances for making and maintaining a career. Even if he never has to work again, he could still learn about something.
Instead, he is stuck in the family compound, living off his mother's money. Braindead by choice.
I was born April 20. So were so many other people beside Adolf Hitler. Let us not start making a demon out of the young man.
ReplyDeleteFor all the 'supposed' fishing this family has done, when you think of all her many comments of being commercial fisherman -- it amazed me how clutzy and uneducated as to cleaning and preping the fish Sarah and Bristol were.
ReplyDeleteThe only fish that has crossed Sarah's hands is from the grocery store.
Anon @ 10:03, thank you for that analysis. I think it would be wonderful if you could look at more tape from the show. See if any of it adds up. Sarah kept bragging about how Todd has the "#1 site" for net setting fishing in Bristol Bay (sorry I don't know anything about it). It was all about whether or not Track was worthy to inherit it or not... She made it seem like it would be a way for Track to earn his year-round living, like it's a big family business.
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 11:23, I hope we can get more confirmation of that, because it did seem more than odd that they were meeting this cousin for the first time. And cousins can be quite distant, as in 3rd or 4th.
Anon @ 11:36, thank you for that question. I feel there is something atypical about Track's service, and your concerns seem especially valid. I hope we can look into that further.
Another day, same Palin bullshit. She has been painting this picture about her perfect family ever since Obama was elected. She continues to put her children out there as props, uses them as political tools, and then complains about the media coverage.
ReplyDeleteWillow: "I don’t like birthdays, I don’t like attention on me"
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny. I recall reading Bristol saying much the same thing of not wanting a reality show as she didn't like the attention.
Then what does America have to live through - Dancing with the Stars and her appearance on SPA. Interviews & Pictures in magazines. Nawwww -- she doesn't like attention at all.
Next we'll hear announced Willow appearing in, on, with ............
Curtis Menard Junior is the one who died in a plane crash. His dad died of cancer. Track's middle names are officially for his grandparents, Charles Heath and James Palin, not for his godfather and alleged biofather Curtis Jr.--though his mom does like plays on names, like the Van Palin birth announcement.
ReplyDeleteI watched SPA last night. If I didn't know the back story about Sarah and family, I would have thought it was interesting for a reality show, blending races and cultures and rural and urban and elderly and toddler and parent and resistant young adult, all in a state I know little about.
But I do know the back story and I found her and her screechy voice and her alligator tears annoying. Having completed exposing an unattractive and ill mannered Bristol under the DWTS bus, she was now exposing Track on national TV as irresponsible, e.g., he and his buddies damaged the trailer and didn't fix it for the next day's fishing. (Haven't read Frum, but I think Track gets along with Todd but not Sarah.) And Willow wanting to grow up to be like her mom? I almost tossed my "proverbial" cookies. -B
"4. Your underage son was involved in vandalizing school buses which could of led to children's injuries."
ReplyDeleteIf they really did cut the brake lines, as
it has been reported, that is attempted
murder. That was incredibly malicious. I've
known kids who do stupid things--like
playing chicken with cars--but cutting
brake lines on school buses is a whole
other ball game. That is hurting/killing
children on a massive scale, and, unless
they are all mentally retarded, they
knew what they were doing, teens or
not, they understood.
I think the $20,000 was what they offered recruits at the time. Can someone check on that? The spotlight should focus on the Wasilla recruiters and how they operate and deal with kids like Track Palin, Jeremy Morlock and this one that went to the prom with Bristol, "J" [photo taken of "J" during rehab. I don't know who wrote "INFAMOUS MCNOCHI Nailin mC-PAILIN" it was on the photo]. The military recruits are also all part of the hockey mom league. There is a pattern in Wasilla that needs to be investigated. Start with the schools and hockey attitudes and games for young kids.
ReplyDelete"... You know, say what you want to say about me, but I raised [Track Charles James Palin] a combat vet, and you can't take that away from me," Palin said.
"...the front line in this battle for America's future has being drawn in classrooms all over this nation."
It starts in the schools. Has anyone done an indepth look into the Home School practices in the Valley. The Heaths, Frye, Menard and Palin connections. I also notice some religious leaders are nonprofits on-line but don't seem to have a brick and mortar church. Not sure what is going on with that. These people look like they are living very wealthy lives. There is a pattern of "cult speak."
I tried to watch the TLC political infomerical with the Palins. None of them can act worth a darn and what I saw was not awful. I fell a sleep 5 minutes in. I wanted to see more of Track. So far the little I've seen he comes off as a dumb hick. I don't think he is just shy and leery to be attached to Mommy. I don't think they want him out front b/c it would give away how fake the whole scam is. That show is for P-bots only.
Correction: crocodile tears. -B
ReplyDeleteWhere are the 'overnight ratings'?
ReplyDeleteThe overnight ratings for the show will be known to them by now.
Well Gryph, I read the headline on this post as PSA instead of SPA.. guess there is no diff.. Scarah uses this 'reality show' as her Public Service Accouncement!
ReplyDelete11:36 PM
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Track had about 4 mos of training. The Vets I've talked with say that infantry is pretty much about training killers. Young, uneducated and troubled kids with alcohol and drug problems are trained to kill. I saw a documentary recently that said the loose screws they enlist and gangs that join up for military training to take back to the streets are about 10,000 soldiers of the entire military. It is not a subject the military wants discussed. Kids like Track and Jeremy are grunts they train for killing.
Jeremy Morlock and his kill team are an important study because it also explains how the Army will send sick soldiers back to war after doping them up on legal prescriptions. Track Palin was trained for infantry. I don't know if his psychological profile was why they sent him to a pleasant job serving Generals in a relatively Americanized well protected Green Zone. It may have been that his mother was a Christainist military elite and he got favored. Morlock didn't get the Palin treatment early on. He may be getting it now that they would like to change the facts of his story.
Some of the kids associated with Palin kids seem to get out of much of the trouble they get into. They don't have records, records disappear or change. They aren't as elite as the Palin kids but they can get special treatment. Bristol's prom date and Johnny Chandler are both local party boys that didn't always have to pay the price of their excess. I hope it works out for the prom date, he was back in Alaska the last I heard. He may get to go to a special place like Track did until he completes his contract.
"and what I saw was not awful. I fell a sleep 5 minutes in."
ReplyDeleteCORRECTION.."and what I saw was awful. I fell a sleep 5 minutes in." WAS AWFUL!
The right wingers show us a pattern. The kid on your left also serves in the Army. The Pentagon destroyed the rants that he posted on the internet while serving in Afghanistan BECAUSE OF HIS MOTHER. A right wing crazy and close friend of Tammy Bruce. After son was caught he was removed from his platoon but remained in Afghanistan. Like Track Palin he was a troubled kid, real sick actually. He went in the Army basically to straighten him out and save his mother's lying face and the right wing kooks that want to keep the military machine working to make some people filty rich. Don't forget John McCain's military career. There are many others that we don't know about but it is not unusual for the military to cover for jerks and criminals.
"Todd has the "#1 site" for net setting fishing in Bristol Bay"
ReplyDeleteUm, Bristol Bay is really big. I would say that Copenhagen Creek is probably the best site in the bay. Different district; Todd doesn't fish there. Those guys routinely put in more in a season than the boats do. 300,000 pounds is average for them.
In the district where Todd has his site, Etolin Point does pretty well. And Queen Slough, oh yeah. Todd doesn't fish there. Unless he's moved his site. But it's like a Monopoly game. You can't just move onto Marvin Gardens if someone else is there.
In the Nushagak (where Todd fishes), a set-netter's catch varies from less than 10,000 pounds in a season (very crappy site and poor effort) to maybe 80,000 pounds (good site, working hard). Average is 30,000 to 50,000 pounds of fish. The average Bristol Bay sockeye is 5-6 lbs. So that's roughly 10,000 fish over two months.
The peak is the 4th of July and the few days before and after.
At least 50% of the volume of fish harvested all season is caught that week. Probably more than that.
You can tell from his taxes how many pounds Todd put in.
I'm lookin' forward to reviewing that for last season, Todd, after Sarah declares herself as a presidential candidate. More than Egegik, huh? Mmm-hmmm.
The drift fleet is different. They have separate harvest quotas from the setnetters. Substantially higher volume and you need more hands to run a fishing vessel. An actual BOAT, not a SKIFF with an outboard motor. High average for Nushagak is 100,000 pounds.
You know what's funny about this whole 'fishing family' thing? Sarah really really really spins it like she and the kids and Todd all head out to the Bay in the summer, get on the boat and fish like crazy. All of her language, her vernacular, her descriptions of activity - it all describes the DRIFT fleet. Not a setnetter.
There are many many families who do JUST that. From all over the place. From Washington and Oregon, Anchorage, Girdwood, Bethel. Local villages that pack up and move entire households, dogs and babies, to the beach. Live in tent camps and cabins, packing water and cooking over a campstove. All summer. The footage of cousin Matthew's family is exactly that.
But that's not what the Palins do. This is some other family's story.
Here's the weirdest part of all - there isn't a thing wrong with being a setnetter. It's hard work; those are some tough people. It's just as good as being on a boat. Way harder in bad weather. But Sarah wants Todd to pretend that he runs a boat. Is she ashamed of it? What's the problem with setnetting, Sarah?
The fact is that Todd is, and has always been, well-positioned to invest in a drift permit and fishing boat, if he wanted to. They have the resources to make that capital investment. They certainly can afford to pay cash for a drift permit now!
Here's the other funny thing: Todd's _mother_ owns a Bristol Bay drift permit and runs a boat. Has she ever hired Sarah as crew? I don't think so. Does she take the grandkids out on the boat? I don't think so. I wonder why? It's all a big family fishing, right?!
Is there any footage of Todd's MOMMY'S fishing vessel?
Pretty good gig for Track - steal liquor, vandalize school buses putting children's live at risk; avoid jail by agreeing to join the army, then "Mommy" gets you a safe, cushy assignment , out of harm's way; then "MOMMY" gets you out of your obligation in a mere 2 years, AND you get a check for $20,000!!!! Must be nice.

Just like a Palin, those idiots move up the food chain and it can't be explained. How does one go in as E1 and comes out as a Spec4 in such a short time? Especially one who is not a combat vet, one who did not receive any additional education while enlisted, one who who was not specialized in any certain skills other than driving.
What was Track's specialty in the service besides driving Generals around in the green zone?
Could it be he got a promotion because general could not be seen driven around by E1's so they gave Track a promotion in rank to drive generals around?
I'm young, dumb and full of spirit. How can I get one of those sweetheart deals Track got when he enlisted in the Army? I want the Two Year No Danger Deal and go to Iraq and stay in the green zone and come back to the girls as a United States Combat Vet so my mommy can be proud of me too. I'm not kidding, I want a signing bonus too.
ReplyDeleteDo I ask for the Palin Plan?
11:36 PM and 10:33 AM
ReplyDeleteI would also like to know. "How does one go in as E1 and comes out as a Spec4 in such a short time?"
Too bad Track opened his mouth, he just sounds like a dufus hick and he reeks of NO EDUCATION or smarts. How does he advance, manage not to attend homecoming ceremony and skip announcements when his status changes (at the same time his mother is so proud and he is a prop as a combat vet).
Anyone else who would go along with a lie about their military status would be included as a deceiver. Since when can only the privileged children of politicians pose with fantasy military rank? Too many questions unanswered and the media is failing to do as much as mention the contradictions. Is that because Track is in a failing reality show that no one cares about?
Whoever said "INFAMOUS MCNOCHI Nailin mC-PAILIN" must think that person is Trig or Tripp's father? My friends were "friends" with "J the prom boy" for awhile, I'm not sure why. He has been working a program but never lost touch with the old gang back home. We're not so sure about him being cured. I wish him well in the Army.
