Iowa Republicans STILL cannot accept that President Obama is a Christian.

When we say that Fox News is making Americans stupid, this is what we are talking about.

These idiots simply do not want to believe that Obama could be one of them, a Christian, because in order to hate him he has to be the OTHER.  And how easy is it to hate him, and be suspicious of his agenda, if he is a member of the same religion that they fervently believe attacked us on 9-11.

President Obama is a Christian. These are just some dumb people who are devoted to maintaining their ignorance. What do they want exactly? The US to force Egypt to install a Christian ruler? Not all Republicans are so closed-minded and idiotic as this sorry lot.

  2. ohhhh, this form of stupid reeeeeeally hurts my brain. you can insert anything you want into the following sentence, just as these spiteful eejits have:
    i think he's (president obama)a __.
    such as:
    i think he's a time traveler.
i think he's a drinker of kitten blood.
    i think he's a human/penguin hybrid.
    i think he's a classical ballerina.
i think he's too sexy for his office.
i think he's too smart to represent this country.

i think fox and hannity and iowa caucus republicans can suck it. those people in the focus group ought to be sent to one of obama's socialist training camps so they can fall in lock step with the rest of us. they just don't get it. either that or back to grammar school. can we get them into a civics class at least?!?

A slide show of Ms Palin's speech for RR Birthday. It was a very small, very old, very white group. Really surprised me what a insignificant gathering it seems, after all the hoopla. She appears to be the entertainment director at a ritzy old folks home!

It IS like a game of Neocon Mad Libs, isn't it? To me, the answers sound scripted to appeal to the average Faux viewer, especially those coming from the younger woman wearing glasses in the back row. It's clear that some of these people have no idea what their responses even mean--they're just giving off that "I'm a Rill 'Murikan, so I'm Superior" vibe. And "Libralism is the most intolerant religion of all." Projecting much? I also loved the cute, well-timed nodding in agreement. And can someone PLEASE wipe that schoolyard bully smirk off Hannity's mug, pretty please??

It's SAFE to be a biggotted, ignorant, vicious hater because you call yourself a Christian.

That's the legacy of McCain and Palin.

In just a few short decades these people will be the ethnic minority in the United States. May the hate return to them with a vengeance.

As a former resident of Iowa, I am so saddened by this film clip. Iowa has one of the highest literacy rates in the nation, so the fact that so many of these people have accepted the lies regarding President Obama tells how powerful Fox News and the other right-wing media outlets are.

We certainly have our work cut out for us in the coming years.

  18. If anyone thinks that it is impossible for Sarah Palin to get the Republican nomination for president, all they have to do is watch this video.

The Republican party has been hijacked by people who play on the fears and prejudices of people like these.

Ripe pickings for candidates like Palin.

I feel bad for the state of Iowa. Right now these people are probably procreating with cousins and people who think Sarah Palin is smart. Their children will be sad and incurious because the parents are too busy putting band aids on their dragging knuckles.

Its sad because Iowans are known for their pragmatic grasp on politics and life in general. Who is poisoning their well with stupid?

The problem with Fox news and the conservatives who know better is their clever snark is lost on 30% of its audience because they are not in on the joke.
Ergo, these people believe the nonsense Fox is selling.
For this reason a man killed Dr. Tiller, another shot police in PA, and another intended to kill someone in the Tides Foundation. And a bunch of Iwoans believe their President lied about his religion.

Conservatives like Kristol finally call Beck out and- surprise!- Beck retaliates with more of his clown act.

From what I have observed, President Obama lives his life in quiet humility, putting into practice the thoughtfulness, the kindness, the patience and love for others that the Christian faithful so proudly proclaim is the core of their faith.

For those who cannot see this and deny his example of faith, I ask them to look within and see what flaws they are trying to cover up within themselves.

So many self-proclaimed "Christians" are that in name only. They subscribe to hatred of others on a whole spectrum of offenses rather than concentrate of self-love and lover of others.

Too many born-again folks embrace the prosperity gospels that promote selfishness, greed, and the disdain for charity and service.

President Carter is often ridiculed by these same people, yet he, like President Obama actually live their faith by example not proclamation. There is a huge difference between saying your a Christian and actually living your life as follower of Christ trying to be like him in every way you can.

I am not a Christian, but I recognize those of any faith who truly live it. You can tell it by their humility, patience, and quiet grace. They are too busy implementing their faith to spend time accusing others, hating others, or trying to force their beliefs upon others. They simply are their faith.

President Obama (as President Carter before him) lives his life in a way any true follower of Christ would - with simple dignity and humility, with depth of understanding, trust, and grace.

WHY did I listen to this??

"They (the Obama administration) don't know what's going on..(in Egypt)" Well actually YES they do, but because it's a complicated, sensitive diplomatic issue, not to mention it is not our damn business to tell Egypt what to do (which apparently these clowns think we should) the WH isn't calling these idiots every day to fill them in on the latest.

"He believes in his policies." Oh my, what a silly thing for a president to do, actually BELIEVE in what he's trying to accomplish.

"His religion is liberalism, and that's the most intolerant..." WTF? LIBERALS are INTOLERANT?

My parents are convinced Obama is a Muslim, too, and nothing I say--no evidence I provide--can change their minds. Rush Limbaugh has more credibility to them than I do, even though I have a master's degree ("Rush plays clips of actual comments from actual speeches"). When I cite my research, my mom's standard response is, "You have too much time on your hands."

So now I just say President Obama could be a Muslim, and that would be fine with me. That usually shuts them up.

Several months ago, my parents visited my church. During a conversation after the service, my dad trotted out his "Obama is a Muslim" comment. To my surprise, the man he was talking to--a man he'd actually known when they attended Christian college together--told him he should look into the progressive movement, and stop spreading divisive and hate-filled rhetoric that doesn't help the country. I wanted to hug the man!

What Iowa Republicans believe is irrelevant. They might "believe" that they can fly, but that does not make it so. I'll bet they also "believe" that Reagan was a fiscal conservative and shrank the size of the government.

They put together a panel of the most uninformed cousin humping goobers they can find and we're supposed to care about what they have to say about ANYTHING? Why not ask them about particle physics and wave particle duality? Seriously, the combined total IQ for this group of morons would be hard pressed to hit four digits.

We had a Catholic president who governed without consulting the Bible. I wonder, will they have the same opinion of Mitt Romney, a Morman, is in the White House?

Obama isnt a Christian! The Bible is the book you use to determine if someone is a Christian.
It says: you will know them by their fruits. Obama does not produce good fruit.
For all of you that continue to drool all over him, you should know he said; should the politiccal winds shift, he would stand with the Muslims. That my friend is NOT a Christian! Totally the opposite.

Debra Bryant you are a buffoon. What "fruit" determines Christianity? What "fruit" has Palin produced that tells us she is a Christian? What "fruit" has Michelle Bachman produced that tells us she is Christian? Just how obtuse are you?

If Obama were a Muslim, how come not one single Muslim ON THE ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET has EVER claimed that the president is Muslim? How come NO MUSLIM HAS EVER said that they’ve worshipped with him? How come THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT HE HAS EVER WORSHIPPED IN A MOSQUE? Wouldn’t at least ONE of these things had to have happened before anyone with at least a single functioning brain cell would make the charge that President Obama is a Muslim? I think that I may have just stumbled upon the first explanation for your claim.

The second reason morons like you raise this charge is because of your incipient racism. You know you can't hurl the N-word any longer so you call him a Muslim. The charge is so fucking imbecilic and unbelievable the ONLY possible explanation is your bigotry. Only thick-witted clods like yourself trot out this asinine charge. How come no smart people raise this charge? How many Ph.D.s endorse your claim? How many Nobel Laureates have signed on to your batshit crazy theory? How come the ONLY folks trotting out this idiocy are undereducated cretinous peawits like yourself? Who gives a fat rat's ass what a simple minded putz like you thinks about this or any other subject? You are a moron.

I'l bet you were one of those teabagging asshats who railed about Obama being responsible for Rev. Wright's remarks. Answer me this Einstein: If Obama is a Muslim, how can he be responsible for HIS CHRISTIAN MINISTER'S words? How many Musilims actually HAVE Christian ministers? Or do you not see the glaring cognitive dissonance raised by that statement?

You are offensive, thicker than shit, and a pompous sanctimonious ass. Nobody with a functioning frontal lobe takes anything you say or write seriously.

Judging by YOUR fruits, you ain't no Christian either sister. Again, judging by your fruits, nor are you much of an intellect.
