You know I did not think I could like the people of Madison, Wisconsin any more than I already do. But I was wrong.

THIS is what should happen every single time a Fox reporter shows up to vilify unions, demonize Democrats, and spread GOP propaganda. (Read more over at the Huffington Post.)

By the way speaking of propaganda and lies, the Grizzled Mama is trying to attach her name to the Wisconsin situation in a desperate attempt to get some media attention. (Oh, don't worry dear Sarah, soon you will have more media attention than you can possibly stand!)

Her Facebook post is ghostwritten like usual and therefore not worth covering, but here let me quickly identify some of the most obvious lies.

"Months ago, I penned a message." No you didn't.  Somebody wrote that for you just like they have since back when you were first running for Governor.

"I am a friend to hard working union members and to teachers." Total bullshit!

"My own children attend public schools." Really, which one?  So far none of us can find a public school in which any of your kids are enrolled. Another lie.

Of course even a broken clock is right twice a day, and so Palin accidentally slips a little truth in this next sentence.

"As goes Wisconsin today, so goes the country tomorrow."

Amen to that sister.  Which is why ALL Americans should support the teachers, firefighters, police officers,  and other hard working people of Wisconsin who are standing up to the union busting Governor.

I know one thing for sure: The good hard working honest people in my beloved state of Wisconsin will have no problem telling Sarah or any other "outsider" who tries to spout their tea party garbage to get the HELL OUT OF OUR STATE!!! I am so proud of these Wisconsinites for standing up for their rights. This isn't about balancing our budget, it's union busting plain and simple. The Koch brothers are busing in some tea party supporters today to start some problems. Well it's not going to happen. We are a peaceful bunch, no guns, no violence, we just want our voice to be heard and be able to bargain collectivley. Thanks for the words of encourgement it means alot to know we have people like you Gryphen in our corner.

  2. As a resident of WI this is quite a mess. Sarah Palin needs to keep her uneducated, ignorant @$$ out of an issue she has no understanding of. Naturally this is just one of many issues she's ignorant on though and she still plows forward with inane thoughts.

I actually posted a few thoughts on my blog this morning about this issue here in WI. It's unbelievable the number of people blaming unions 100% on this issue. The naivety of people never ceases to amaze me, on both sides of this issue.

Yes, let's all look back at Sarah's record as a model contributing member of her PTA days. . .no? Okay, how about her childrens illustrious Best Attendance awards for school? No? Their good grades and H.S. diploma's?

How about the humbling respect they universally share as a family toward teachers?

As Sarah says, don't let the liberal media slant her record - we only have to use our own eyes.

Using Facebook as her way to get herself out there is about as lazy as it gets. Let me guess, she was on her way back from LI yesterday and her newly boosted staff say to her, "You need to comment about what's going on in Wisconsin", and she said "OK, say whatever it is you think I should say" and then she, maybe, gave it a cursory read, since it sums up for her how they want her to feel about the issue, and then they posted it as though she was acting alone. And then she gets a headline "Sarah Palin comments on Wisconsin". Give me a break. Any nitwit can run a campaign, that way. Oh yeah, she is.

Another "Palin" penned piece? Nope. Too comprehensive and well written, not her style. If we had to "verify" that she could back up her words, she'd display that flustered deer in the headlights look and hope to god she wore her good push-up bra that day.

"As goes Wisconsin today, so goes the country tomorrow."

Does it singe her hair extensions to come up with such wise sayings?

    No.

The plagiarist is at it again, playing on the famous musings of Winston Churchill. Her Palinbots are already orgasming to her sage wisdom. Vomit.

OK I had to click on this HuffPo article. It is just too funny and scary. This is the type of stuff people need to know about how stupid Sarah really is:

Although, they forgot to add... "So we could bill SarahPAC for Bristol's trip"

I wish I could be in Wisconsin. Well, maybe Palin's right, and this will spread to every state in the country, including my own. And I can show up to stand against the union-bashing barbarians like Palin.

By the way, I hear they're going to bus in the Tea Party to protest against the unions. This should be interesting. I hope it will broadcast to America just what side the Tea Party is really on. When push comes to shove, they support the elite governor against the teachers and the social workers and the nurses.

This rich celebrity is lecturing union members marching in the freezing cold for their basic rights about sacrifice??

Sarah Palin, take note: Working people are fed up with shouldering all the sacrifices in this country. Now go fly a private jet to one of your overpaid speeches somewhere; you bring NOTHING to this issue.

Sacrifice by all, my foot. If Walker is so concerned about a balanced budget (he isn't), then he shouldn't have just given a huge tax break to corporations.

I just KNEW that Simple Sarah never found a controversy that she wasn't willing to inject her ignorant self into. This proves to be no exception. She is a well-paid parrot who echoes the nonsense that unions must sacrifice in the name of national solidarity. Until she is willing to sacrifice one penny of her millions, or the wealthy are willing to sacrifice, I refuse to take any of them seriously. I also refuse to take Congress seriously unless they are about cuts in our bloated military budget.

Scott Walker's efforts at union-busting are painfully obvious. His manufacturing of a budget crisis by giving tax breaks to his cronies only add insult to injury, as do his efforts against unions that didn't endorse him for election. Fortuntely, there are even police officers in Wisconsin who are standing by their fellow union members as a measure of solidarity.

I am a public service worker here in DC, and for now, we are taking furlough days on holidays. Our mayor and our councilmembers are also taking furlough days, which gives me respect for them. Unlike Scott Walker and others, they lead by example and at least they listened to our union reps.

I understand that the same thing is brewing in other states, particularly Ohio, the state that Crybaby Boner hails from.

Ok, here's the thing...people go into public sector jobs specifically for the benefits...they make substantially lower wages for comparable private sector jobs because benefits (paid holidays, vacation time, etc)are part of the overall compensation package. Without that, no one would even take them...I mean really how much would it suck to work at the DMV?

If Scott Walker wants to play this game, he needs to systematically go through all the public positions and pay grades, and put them in line with private sector pay. End of story. He can't, and won't, because it is impossible.

I listened to this douche give his press conference last night, and he is hell bent on union busting, just doing his Koch overlords' bidding. This should be a wake up call to everyone who ever votes Republican, is too lazy to vote, or thinks they don't matter. I can guarantee you that a surprising percentage of people in these protests actually voted for this guy, or even sat out the election. Lesson learned....vote, volonteer, make phone calls, get the word out, or this is what you wind up with.

Why is the media not making more of a point to explain that this 'budget crisis' was created by the governor's corporate tax break? Before he passed this break as a favor to his wealthy friends, including the Koch brothers who donated big bucks to his campaign, Wisconsin was anticipating a budget surplus.

Now the unions are willing to negotiate on issues that will directly affect the budget, but he wants to eliminate the power of the unions to negotiate everything. Clearly, this has nothing to do with budget shortfalls and everything to do with destroying unions so the Koch brothers can make even more obscene profits than they already do...and damage more of the environment on the process.

People are tired of just complaining, it looks like they're getting read to start taking to the streets again, en masse. Don't think the protests around the world aren't impressing on them what needs to be done and what can be done when people take to the streets. Watch how things unfold in this country over the next few years. I'm hopeful.

Vince Beltrami, President, Alaska AFL-CIO: "Palin's no sister of mine"

"Note to Sarah: The wages and benefits from Todd's union job that provided for your family for years were negotiated and guarded by "union bosses." Your insults to them and the rest of us shows your blatant disregard for the fabric of the labor movement, and your ignorance of the fact that unions are the only organizations in the country looking out for the best interests of working families in America, whether they belong to a union or not. I would suggest you stop commenting on things you know very little about. Unfortunately, that never seems to have stopped you before."

I simply can't understand the idiocy of the tea partiers on this issue. What do they want...a china-style workplace where corporations have absolutely no responsibility for their workers? Do they want a system where american workers can't count on their workplace being safe or being paid a fair wage!? Totally mind-boggling, but this is from brainwashed folks who, although most depend on medicare, disability, and social security, think they're not taking gov't. assistance.

  77. I hope that Wisconsin folks have learned their lesson when it comes to voting Tea Party People into the Governorship. All threads on this blog keep being hijacked by people talking about supporting the Wisconsin protesters. Somehow, this Tea Party Governor was elected and now in charge of busting up the unions that the Democratic populace holds dear. Perhaps making one's voice heard at the polling booth could have prevented this unfortunates usurping of the highest office in the state by a person that many seem to find reprehensible.

Make sure to vote next time, people. That's my best advice.

LMAO! This has to be a joke. If not, then the little dollop of gray matter that lives in that empty noggin doesn't have the potential of primordial ooze.

I would like to know if somehow Grifter Sarah managed to keep her government retirement pension even after walking off her job early. Is there anyway to find out? I've googled to no avail.

  80. Thanks Griffin for keeping Wisconsin in your thoughts. The Saturday protest was the largest ever, today's weather sucked so everyone was inside and much smaller.

Just saw this little tidbit and wanted to share it. The WI Law Enforcement Agency, who is exempt from the union busting move by Walker, came out with a statement that they regret endorsing Walker. You can find read about it here: http://tinyurl.com/4q9xvhd

Just so everyone knows the firefighter and police unions have been out with us every day with their support. They don't like the idea of this happening, even though Walker has exempt them. We love and are thrilled with their support.

And one more thing, there was a woman posing as a "fake" Sarah and her message was "Even I know this bill is stupid." Be more than happy to pass the pix on to you.
