Just for fun. Baby laughs at ripping up of father's job rejection letter.
I wish I was this easily entertained.
BTW baby laughter may be one of my all time favorite sounds in the world. I cannot help but smile and laugh along.
I just saw this on HP and sent it to friends. I think this will be my "anti-Paylin" video of choice; every time that witch raises my blood pressure I'll play this to remind myself of pure joy. Too bad she wouldn't get it.
However. It reminded me of the mad gleam that ALL of my sons had when they learned how to rip paper. The eldest had sufficient attention span to rip up entire UNREAD copies of The New Yorker. If offered one that already had been read, my ex-baby would affect the pained expression of Craig Claiborne at a sub-par restaurant...
Fox News has "fired Gingritch & Santorum" stating that as long as they won't disavow that they are running for Prez- Fox can't have them on their show.
I could care less about that- but what does it say about the fact that SP wasn't excommunicated?

You know, this is beautiful on so many levels. What better way to encourage one's search for employment in tough times than to have one's own infant figuratively balk at the matter of rejection with you. Sanity preserved.
Love the baby's wonderfully contagious laughter! What a needed relief from so many situations in this nation and, of course, from idiotic imbecile and family in Alaska.
Thank You! Now back to a different kind of reality.
Love it! Gosh, I miss the days when my kids were that little. There's something so wonderful about connecting with your baby like that. This actually made me laugh, and then tear up.
Oh the simple things in life! Cardboard boxes that turn into magical castles. Sheets draped over furniture to play hide n seek. Pot lids and Tupperware to keep one entertained for hours. Paper bags turned into monster masks.. all to hear a child's laughter.
Gryph, I've not visited or posted in awhile the spouse and I are readying ourselves (and all the crap we've amassed these years in Texas) to leave Austin and return to the UK. But I am SO thrilled I stopped by today! Not only was that just the medicine my weary mind needed...I just love a man who loves a baby :)
If your daughter plans to be a mother someday, I've no doubt you will be the very best "pa pa" ever.
Now then, does anyone else admit to laughing so hard they very nearly wet?

ReplyDeleteHa, and I thought he was laughing at Bristol's manuscript.

ReplyDeleteLove this.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks !!!
ReplyDelete(Though I'm thinking that Dad will be sorry he demonstrated how much fun it can be to rip up things.)
Such an adorable baby. Just what I needed :)
That was great!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! My 14 mo old great-grandson was listening and making sounds while I played the video.
ReplyDeleteHe loves the computer already!
There is nothing like a baby's giggle. I mean, it comes from somewhere so deep and happy, their body shakes with the joy.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to find that place when you're grown up.
Anon 8:59 - that's my all time favorite too!
ReplyDeleteLove that video. I've watched it several times already.
ReplyDeleteAnd here's what happy, well loved and nurtured children grow into.

It's four minutes, but for maximized giggles, watch to the end.
Gryph, Santorum and Gingrich suspended from Fox payroll. They said if Huck and Palin ran, they too would be suspended.
ReplyDeleteso far, both are still on payroll.
Gryph-

Now that's the kind of "turning lemons into lemonade" therapy I can live with.
ReplyDeleteWhat a breathtaking way to turn bad news into a delightful family activity.
Best of luck to the father in becoming gainfully employed.
If you are'nt laughing out loud as you watch this, you might need some Prozac!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful an innocent sound like this can do this to us!
Thanks, Gryph
